Chapter One: Thank you

Rika slowly opened her eyes. The fall she expected…the death she was expecting to get...

…it didn't come.

Instead, she was in the arms of someone she didn't know, his strong arms holding onto her fragile body, as if it was trying hard not to let her go. She felt a cool breeze surround her, though she wasn't sure exactly where it came from.

The next thing she knew, she was lying in a park bench, a guy around his early twenties watching over her. The same person who saved her.

Realizing this, she quickly sat up, a stunned look on her face.
"You…"
The guy just smiled at her, "You alright?"
I felt my head throb as I clutched it. Blurred images came to my mind, but I couldn't make anything clear out of them.
"I…" Rika started, but the pain was overwhelming and caused her to fall back. The guy caught her in time, and as Rika reopened her eyes, she saw a dark feather slowly flutter to the ground.

An…angel?

-----Rika's POV-----

It's been three months since the incident. I never got to know the name of my savior.
I haven't seen him since that incident on the park, where he saved me twice.

I've since searched for him whenever I went. I wanted to thank him. To show him how much he's taught me.

-----End of POV----

She walked hurriedly, she was running late for school. She accidentally bumped into someone, causing her to fall, her books with her.
"Can you please watc—" her words were cut short as she saw the person's face.

It was him.

----
Sorry for a short chapter. I'm feeling evil.
Notes: Rika is the Harada twins' grandmother, just to clear things up. XD
