Chapter 11: In The Name of the Moon, I'm Going Ghost!
Makoto, Minako, Ami, Rei, Usagi and their feline friends were still at the arcade, continuing their time at the arcade.
While Luna wanted to discuss the status on their home town and that mysterious entity that saved those people from the burning building. However, the girls, being young and emotional as they are, had other things on their minds.
Such as having fun.
Usagi was on the Sailor V game and was playing one of the newer special editions, one with new secret levels, where her Sailor V avatar was defeated by the boss that was using a seemingly unavoidable laser.
She got upset by this.
"No! Why are these updated versions so much harder to play than the normal ones?!..."She whined over losing again.
Rei rolled her eyes.
"Maybe you should get a better handle on the standard game first, before playing the newer games? And maybe you should also not act like a baby when you lose..."She complained.
"Watch it, Rei! I don't see you get any further!..."Usagi shouted, as they began another one of their petty arguments again.
Makoto and the others rolled their eyes at that.
"Here they go again..."She said, as the two girls kept bickering.
"I just hope that they end this attitude before it gets out of hand...again..."Luna said with a sigh, while hoping that both girls will stop before someone gets in trouble.
"That scenario seems unlikely..."Ami said as she read her book to try and ignore.
"I'll say..."Minako muttered.
"You feeling better, Mina-chan?..."Makoto asked, referring to how she slipped and fell earlier.
"I'm fine now..."Minako reassured her.
"I still can't believe that someone like you is leader, honestly..."Rei was heard muttering, and Usagi got angrier.
"What's that suppose to mean?!..."Usagi shouted, as their bickering continued.
"They really are close...and have way more in common with each other than they care to admit..."Makoto said with amusement.
"I just wished that they use all that extra energy in something more constructive, like studying..."Ami said in her usual way.
"I had a feeling you'd say that..."Makoto said with a chuckle, while her other blonde friend took a sip from a soda that she just got.
Minako decided to just go back to thinking about a certain boy she met, Makoto while leaned on the wall and unknowingly thought of the same boy. The two girls then smiled in an affectionate manner over him.
"I wonder how Danny is doing right now. I hope that he and his family are having a nice time..."Makoto thought, as she recalled her new friend.
Minako, on the other hand, was also thinking of the cute American boy in her own way.
"Danny sure is cute...plus, foreign guys are so wonderful!..."She thought with a giggle.
Makoto raised a brow at that.
"What are you thinking about?..."She asked.
"Oh, nothing in particular..."Minako lied, but still giggled to herself.
Chibi-Usa saw this and rolled her eyes.
"For Guardians, they're not so noble off the clock..."She grumbled, just wishing that they took their jobs more seriously...and showed a little more maturity.
Luna and Artemis then discuss something amongst themselves, and the female cat-alien seemed troubled by something.
Ami noticed this as she looked from the corner of her eyes.
"Luna, what's wrong?..."The blue haired girl asked, getting the attention of the others girls as well.
Usagi and Rei stopped their fighting, while Chibi-Usa was snapping out of it as the female cat began to speak up.
"It seems Artemis and I have come across something odd..."Luna said, while Artemis nodded his head with a worried expression.
The girls all stared at each other, wondering what they meant. However, they soon received their answer as they then heard people screaming and running away in terror.
They soon realized that trouble was brewing in Juban and the Sailor Guardians were needed.
"It looks like it's time for us to save the day, girls..."Usagi said, as she turned to her friends.
Usagi held onto her transformation brooch, while the others all grabbed their own respective items.
Once they found a place to transform, it was time to do what they do best.
Fighting evil by moonlight and trying to win at love by daylight.
Meanwhile
With Danny
The ghost boy had followed in the direction the sounds of troubled Japanese citizens in danger came from and soon arrived to where he figured was the source of the disaster.
He already saw some property damage, but didn't see who made it yet.
"Alright, now what kind foes that Juban have to offer?..."Danny said, as he checked the area. "I almost wish it were a ghost, so I could find it faster..."He said, looking for the source of what caused that panic.
Despite the people running and making it difficult to walk, Danny then saw what was causing the commotion.
He saw a being hovering off the ground, 5 feet off it. This figure looked like a jester, with a pale white mask of a smile. A combination of red and purple, this figure also wore a black belt that was loose, as well as elf-like pointed shoes.
It looked similar to one of the Japanese comic books he saw earlier. However, he was stunned by the fact that this entity appeared.
"Who...or what...is that?..."He asked, a little taken aback at how this villain was dressed.
The jester creature laughed, creating a pair of sabers in its hands before aiming them at people.
"You destroyed that which I once called home, now you shall all pay!..." The jester said in a male, if somewhat effeminate, voice.
That's when one of the bladed weapons was shot out of his hand.
"Maybe you should have taken it up with the guys who wrecked it?!..." Danny Phantom called out.
The jester just scoffed. Danny frowned, annoyed while the jester judged him. He seemed confused for some reason too.
"What are you? You are not meant to be here! I was told there would be 5 young women, not some rowdy boy from the West!..."He said, sounding irritated.
"Sorry, I don't think you're going on a date any time soon..."Danny said, eyes glowing.
The villain got annoyed by his tone and shook in anger and, despite his face being covered, it was clear he took that poorly.
"I meant to destroy them..."The jester said, pointing his blade at Danny.
Before Danny could question him and try and trap him in the Fenton thermos, the Jester was suddenly hit by a beam watery bubbles, fire, a golden tiara, a whip made of orange stars and green lightning...attacks that WEREN'T from the ghost boy.
"Huh?..."He asked out loud, as he turned to see what sent that attack.
"Halt villain, you're not going anywhere! You're time of causing trouble to the innocent people of Juban is over!..."Was heard.
Danny then saw who did that.
He saw a group of pretty girls who were standing heroically, they were all dressed in what looked to be uniforms with REALLY short skirts and a lot of fancy jewelry, he also saw that they were each color coded.
One blonde with two buns in her hair wore a combination of blue and red. A blue haired girl with short hair, whose outfit and ribbon were different shares of blue. A raven color with long hair wore red with purple, and high heels as opposed to boots. The last two, however, were the two that caught his attention the most. The tall brunette who wore green with a pink ribbon, and another blonde in orange who had a blue ribbon on her chest and a red in her hair.
He was momentarily enamored by the sight of the last two before the following caught his attention.
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and Justice! I am Sailor Moon! And now in the name of moon, I'll punish you!..."Sailor Moon said, doing her best to strike her signature pose like a leader should.
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and intelligence! I am Sailor Mercury! Douse yourself in water and repent!..."Sailor Mercury said, as she did her usual pose.
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and passion! I am Sailor Mars! In the name of Mars, I will chastise you!..."Sailor Mars said, striking her usual pose in her red high heels.
"I am the Pretty Guardian who fights for love and courage! I am Sailor Jupiter! I'll make you feel so much regret, it'll leave you numb!..."Sailor Jupiter said, as she did her pose with a lot of confidence.
"I am the Pretty Guardian of Love and Beauty! I am Sailor Venus! In the name of Love, I will punish you!..."Sailor Venus said, as winked while striking her pose perfectly.
Danny stood there, stunned as he was both relieved and surprised as he finally saw them in person.
"It's them...and they actually do poses and speeches like that..."He said, amused as he noticed that the Sailor Guardians are a lot more prettier in person than the rumors described them.
Especially the ones in green and orange.
"Wow..."He thought, as he looked at them.
He saw that they really were pretty in sailor uniforms with really short skirts that the ghost boy extremely hard not to focus on. He continued to stare at them blankly for a moment, a bit too long.
However, they still seemed to eye them suspiciously. The girls then approached whom they believed where the trouble makers and went on the offense.
"To attack people during a day off from school and work is unforgivable!..."Sailor Moon said, looking peeved.
"I was hoping to enjoy a day off from cram school with friends before I get some reading done, but you've interrupted that. Unacceptable!..."Sailor Mercury said, as she crossed her arms.
"Evil spirit, you shall pay!..."Sailor Mars said, looking peeved as she glared at them.
"Get ready to regret your actions!..."Sailor Jupiter said, as she cracked her knuckles a bit.
"Time to be punished!..."Sailor Venus said, glaring daggers at them.
"We will punish you!..."All the girls shouted dramatically as they all posed and pointed at Danny and the jester.
The ghost boy then realized that he was finally in front of the girls that were pointing at him in an accusatory manner.
"Uh... were you talking to me?..." He asked, as he pointed at himself.
"Yeah, and your creepy friend!..." Sailor Moon clarified.
"Spirit, be exercised!..."Sailor Mars said, holding out a talisman.
Danny realized that the colorful sailor suited heroines thought he was the jester's accomplice. He realized that he had to clear up this misunderstanding before he ended up with another "Public Enemy #1" incident.
"Wait! Wait! You got it all wrong! I'm not a bad guy here, I'm on your side!..."Danny said, lifting his hands up in a "surrender" manner to keep them from attacking him.
This confused the sailor heroines, especially the leader of the group.
"Our side?..."Sailor Moon asked, surprised.
She then turned her head to an equally surprised Mercury, who was now questioning her previous assumptions.
"Yeah, I'm-..."Before he could finish, Sailor Venus gasped suddenly and squealed in a way that always startled the ghost boy out of his jumpsuit.
"AH! No way, it's him! I can't believe it this is happening!..."She said as she charged at him with her arms out.
Danny panicked and the girls thought that she was trying to fight him. However, to their surprise, including the ghost boy, Sailor Venus wasn't attacking Danny Phantom.
She was hugging him, much to everyone's surprise.
"W-What?..."He said as his face turned from physical contact, lost from her reaction.
He was completely caught off guard by this but also didn't feel remotely uncomfortable as an attractive super heroine was hugging him for some reason. Sailor Venus, on the other hand, looked absolutely starstruck as she squealed in excitement at seeing him.
She practically had little hearts in her eyes as she spoke in a very excitable manner.
"Oh my gosh! I can't believe it! It's you! It's you! It's really you!..."She exclaimed, seeing his face as if it were the most beautiful thing on Earth.
She was completely ecstatic, as she's VERY excited to be meeting one of her favorite superheroes in person. Especially since he's her age and really cute too.
The ghost boy, on the other hand, was taken back by this and didn't know how to respond to this.
"Uh, hi..."Danny said, realizing that he was still in her arms, yet not bothering to phase out.
"Oh my gosh, I can't believe that I'm actually meeting you! What are you doing here?! How can I help? Do you have a girlfriend? You can skip answering the first two!..." She went eagerly, as she almost hovered over the bewildered ghost boy.
Her friends, on the other hand, had questions of their own.
"Venus, what are you doing?..."Jupiter asked as the other Sailor Guardians shared the same lost expressions.
"You know who he is?..."Moon asked, with a puzzling look on her face.
The blonde in orange just grinned happily as she locked arms with Danny, who was befuddled by this but did nothing to stop this, as the blonde heroine then tried to explain to her friends/teammates who the ghost boy was.
"Girls, pay attention! I mean, seriously...snow white hair and glowing green eyes and a guy who can fly! Do you all really not know who he is? This is Danny Phantom! He's the ghostly hero of Amity Park in America. He's like us, using his powers to help people in that town. And, if rumors are true, he's single too..."Venus said, her fangirl side showing.
Danny was surprised and almost mildly impressed that someone actually knows who he is from this far away from home. Still, he wasn't expecting any of this.
"Wait...you've...heard of me?..."Danny asked, shocked that one of the heroines that he was looking for knows so much about him.
"Like duh! I know a lot about trends in the West. From fashion to crime fighting. Besides, I always look up info and keep up with all the news about cool celebrities and people of interest, like you..."Venus said, winking in a way to seduce.
Danny was taken back by her very enthusiastic blonde, he almost held weak-kneed but he also couldn't help but feel a mild case of deja-vu for some reason.
"Weird... this is the first time I've met her...and yet she's kind of familiar..."He thought, scratching the back of his head.
"Uh... thanks... Venus, right?..." Danny asked.
"Aww... you know who I am..." She said with a blush, covering her face.
"Y-yeah. I heard of you, and Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter..."He said, blushing a bit.
"Cute and knowledgeable. I like that..." Venus went happily.
"Wait...did she just call me cute?..."He thought, blushing more as Sailor Venus was mentally planning to make a move.
"This is so cool! I've been a Danny Phantom Phan-girl ever since he first debuted and I even have some Phan-made T-shirts and 3D printed toys!..."She said cheerfully, while Artemis, who was watching this nearby with Luna and Chibi-Usa, rolled his eyes at that.
"And she wonders why her allowance never seems to last for long..."He thought, sighing.
Danny was a bit flustered by her fangirlish behavior. She was almost like Paulina, only somehow cuter in her fangirling.
"Huh...I got a pretty superhero as a fan girl. I wonder if I can take her as my prom date?..."He thought, somewhat amused all the other Sailor Guardians started staring at him with curious looks in their eyes.
"Wait, T-shirts and toys?..."He asked out loud, as he didn't know about that.
Before something could happen and before Venus could explain more about that, Danny noticed something coming towards him and Venus.
It was an attack!
"Look out!..." He went, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her away as they avoided a blade.
Once they were in a safe distance, they realized what had just happened.
"Oh wow..." Venus went in shock.
"I don't think you need a haircut that bad..." Danny said.
"You okay?..."He asked.
"Never better..."Venus said, happy to be in her hero's arms.
Danny didn't have time to focus on what she said, as she was glaring at the one who threw the blade.
The blade returned to its owner, the jester, who got annoyed that the Sailor Guardians were more focused on the ghost boy than him.
"You dare to ignore the great Dōkureji?! I shall end you!..." He said, sounding angry and ready to attack again.
"So that's his name... Dōkureji..." Danny said as he let the flustered Venus down.
"Venus!..."Her teammates said as they ran to her and make sure that she was okay.
The other Sailor Guardians recalled the situation at hand, and that they had a bad guy stop.
"Well, I guess proper introductions and question will have to wait for later. Right now, let's bring this no-good villain down!..."Sailor Moon said, pointing at the monster.
"I can agree to that..."Danny said with a nod, hands and fists glowing.
The other girls agreed to this, though one of them was still wary of the ghost boy, but she also knew that they had bigger issues to deal with right now.
"Fine, but just know I got my eye on you..." Mars said, doing the "watching you" gesture with untrusting eyes.
Danny settled for that, before turning to the female heroines.
"So, what's the game plan?..."The ghost boy asked, since he figured that they had more experience with these kinds of bad guys.
The brains of the Sailor Guardians tried to think fast, as they all dodged more attacks from the jester villain.
"That jester must rely on those swords, I deduce separating them from him would take away his means of attack..."Mercury said in an analytic way.
"She sounds a lot like Jazz..."Danny thought in amusement before the leader of the Sailor Guardians spoke up.
"So, how do we get those away from him?..." Moon asked.
"Leave that to me..." Danny said as he flew to face Dokureji.
He cracked his knuckles, before he flew forward and faced the jester-styled villain. The bad guy saw him and sneered at him.
"Come to play? Or are you taking their place for destroying the stage I adored?..." Dokureji asked, looking ticked.
"Actually, I'm here to say that you can't be playing with sharp objects..." Danny said as he fired.
Dokureji used his blades and held them in an X shape to block. He then started spinning in place like a rotor with his blades stuck out.
"Then see how sharp these babies are, punk!..."The jester said, ready to slice him to bits.
However, before Danny could go intangible to get away from the blades, something else saved him.
"Supreme... THUNDER!..."Was heard.
A blast of electricity hit the blade that almost stabbed Danny in the face, shocking Dokureji and making him drop to his knees.
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!..."The jester yelled, feeling pain from the electrical attack.
Danny saw who sent that attack, it was Sailor Jupiter. He smiled.
"Thanks..."He said, smiling.
"Any time..."Sailor Jupiter said, sending a slight smile.
Danny saw her smile and felt his heart skip a bit.
"Wow..."The ghost boy whispered, looking impressed.
"She's prettier in person...and yet...she seems familiar too..."He thought, a little confused now.
Seeing the way Danny looked at Jupiter, Venus felt her blood boil in mild jealousy, especially after she heard what he just said.
"Watch! I can kick butt too! Crescent Beam!..."She shouted, as she fired her own attack at the villain.
Seeing both blades out of Dokureji's hands, Danny pulled out the Fenton Thermos.
"See ya never, Joker rip off!..."He said, as he aimed and fired.
Nothing happened, confirming this entity is no ghost. He frowned, looking frustrated.
"Okay, he's not a ghost. Any ideas on how to get rid of him?..."Danny asked the sailor-themed heroes.
Before any of them could answer him, the jester sent them venomous glares as he got up.
"This was not how it was meant to go... I was promised vengeance and fear to feed on!..." Dokureji said in anger.
Hearing that, Danny raised an eyebrow.
"Promised? By who?..."He asked.
His question would be unanswered as Sailor Moon's finishing blow connected with its target.
"Moon Princess Halation!..."She shouted, not having heard him.
The jester saw the attack coming towards him, and that he didn't have time to dodge it.
"Uh oh..."He said, moving aside but it was too late.
Dokureji was hit and, in seconds reduced to dust. Danny blinked as he saw that the villain was no more...just like that.
He was speechless to say the least.
"Uh...I...guess that's one way to deal with bad guys..."He whispered, not used to this sort of methods.
He shook it off, since they had more serious matters to deal with right now.
Once the villain was defeated and seemingly destroyed, Danny was at least relieved to find the five female heroes, just like he was ordered to do so.
"Wow, finding these girls was a lot harder to accomplish than I thought it would but at least I found them...and boy, that one's hotter in person..."He said, as he couldn't help but eye Sailor Jupiter as she smiled in appreciation for his help.
However, he snapped out of it and knew that he can finally move on with the mission that Clockwork gave him for being here in the first place.
"Talk now, try and not look like a dork later..."He thought.
Danny soon turned to face the group of heroines and was about explain to all of them as to why he's here in their hometown, but stopped himself as he just realized something.
"I'm about to talk to some hot girls who are out of my league and who probably would not go out with me as Danny Fenton...just like high school..."He thought, before regaining his self-esteem as he remembered that he's here because of some heroic duties that ClockWork warned him about.
Gathering his nerve, he approached the girls, who were still somewhat unsure of him.
"So, Danny Phantom was it? Thank you for helping us defeat that evil-doer, but is there some reason as to why you're here in Juban?..."Mercury asked, curious as she wondered why he was here.
Danny sighed, before getting straight to the point.
"Yes, there is. I was actually sent here to help you girls..."He said, surprising the females.
"Help us, with what? And who sent you?..."Sailor Jupiter asked, confused.
The ghost boy sighed, unsure how to begin to explain this whole thing, but he tried his best.
"It's...a long story...can we talk in a more private place, somewhere that nobody will notice us?..."Danny asked, since they were still in a pretty public place.
"And why exactly can't we simply talk out here? All the civilians ran away in a panic, so this empty secluded and secure enough for a private discussion. It seems odd that you and that thing appeared together, seeing as you're on the wrong side of the planet!..."Mars asked in accusation.
Danny looked a bit concerned, but Jupiter and Venus both tried to reason with their red wearing teammate.
"Hey Mars, why don't we just hear him out first before judging? After all, he did help us out against that jester..."Jupiter reminded
"Plus, he's a superhero and saved me earlier..."Venus reminded before winking flirtatiously at him. "A cute superhero too..."She said coyly, making both Sailor Mars, Luna and Artemis sigh at Mina's reasons for trusting Danny Phantom.
Danny blushed at that and tried to keep his cool in front of the really pretty Japanese heroines. Especially the one whose interest is so obvious that even he isn't clueless about it.
"Uh..."He said, before one of the Sailor Guardians decided to want to hear what the ghost boy had to say.
They turned to the leader of the group for the final decision.
"What do you say, Sailor Moon?..." Mercury asked
"Yeah..." Jupiter and Venus said in unison.
The blonde heroine thought about it, and came to her own decision.
"He did help us, so lets at least hear him out..."Moon said.
Mercury nodded
"I do too..."She said in agreement.
Mars sighed, realizing that she had no proof he's the enemy and that she's also out-numbered here.
"Fine..."She said, but she clearly wasn't fully trusting the half-ghost hero just yet.
"Not even 10 minutes and she already doesn't like me. I can tell she and I are gonna get along swimmingly..."Danny thought sarcastically before the whole group decided on where they should continue their discussion.
"That rooftop can work..." Moon suggested, as she pointed up to it.
"Works for me..."The ghost boy said, happy that they were willing to hear him out.
Danny and the female heroes soon left to go somewhere more private to finally talk about why he's here, unaware that someone had watched the entire battle and meeting, having expected it.
"Well done, step one has just been completed. Now to the second step of my plan.."The figure said before vanishing, leaving no evidence behind of its existence.
This was the one who told Dokureji to attack and take revenge for the stage he once lived on being taken from him, and the one who wanted to locate the Guardians.
He already managed to succeed with the first part of his plan.
Now onto step 2.

Not really, but I always thought that the reason why Danny wasn't more popular with girls was due to confidence issues and his parents weren't doing him any favors with their obsession with ghosts.
