There:
What if
I could fly
to help you touch the sky
And what if I saw you cry
alone, you thought
for something you sought
And I saw you there
Wandering, waiting
your image fading
mere mist;
sadness
And silence becomes you
I saw you there
In a cathedral, a Tomb;
his temple
bells ring silence of dawning;
Of night (sleep)
I saw you there
A Kiss, a prayer;
my silence, I'll swear
I saw you there
A deal with the devil;
A deal with an angel;
sealed with a kiss
and you are both
Still as stone;
Cold as death
I'll take my last breath
And I'll meet you there
There:
What if
I could fly
to help you touch the sky
And what if I saw you cry
alone, you thought
for something you sought
And I saw you there
Wandering, waiting
your image fading
mere mist;
sadness
where the silence becomes you
I saw you there
In a cathedral, a Tomb;
his temple
bells ring silence of dawning;
Of night (sleep)
I saw you there
A Kiss, a prayer;
my silence, I'll swear
I saw you there
A dance with a devil;
A deal with an angel;
sealed with a kiss
and you are both
Still as stone;
Cold as death
I'll take my last breath
And I'll meet you there
