Hinata stared out of her window. Things sure had changed in the last three years. She had become stronger, her father accepted her as
heir to their clan. She was now capable of holding her own, hell, yesterday for the 5th time in a row she had beaten Neji in a friendly
match.
Everyone was on missions. Everyone but her. Sure she was heir but why, if she was trained to be a ninja, would her father and the
Hokage agree to keep her missions to a minimum?
She looks towards the east, she senses the two chakra forms in the distance. One is Yamato, the other, the one whom she attributes her
success, Naruto. He's training, she knows, to bring back his friend. "Sasuke", she whispers. Every night she prays that Sasuke is ok and
that maybe in the morning he'll wake up and come to his senses and come back to Naruto, wishful thinking, she knows. She hated
Sasuke for putting Naruto through all this pain and guilt. Naruto… Did she still love Naruto? Yes, with all her heart but she knew that
they could never be together; the clan would never accept him as their leader. She sighed, she knew that Ino was out there, Ino her best
friend, had gone with her team to avenge Asuma-sensei's death, how she wished she could have gone too. Kurenai, Hinata's sensei was
at the hospital sedated, a ninja knows not to show their emotions, but Asuma was Kurenai's love. She sighed again; will she also grieve
like that if Naruto dies? Hinata shuddered at the thought.
Hinata sighed for the third time, life is so weird…. after all her accomplishments she was still so sad…
