Sharpay's POV
Sharpay went to school early to devise her plan, but it turns out what she thought was early wasn't early at all. She headed off to homeroom. Ms. Darbus rambled off all the announced, and all the while she was barely listening, because out of the corner of my eye she saw Bolton staring ever so often.
Troy's POV
During homeroom Troy caught himself staring at Sharpay several times. This was the third time that week. Lately he'd been very distant; especially with Gabriella. He didn't know what it was, but something was missing something just wasn't right. He didn't know what it was; He's got a hot girl, He is the most popular guy in school, He was the star of the basketball team, and he totally beat out Ryan, and Sharpay for the lead role in the school play. What else could he want? What else could be missing?

The bell rings and all the students hurtle out of the classroom, except a certain distracted basketball star.
"Hey Troy," called Gabriella"Troy wait up. Troy hello, Troy you there."
"Huh... Oh yea, hey Gabi what's up," he answered.
"Umm… lately you've been acting really weird, and distracted, and I really don't know what to do with you any more," she Began
"I just think we should take a break for a while, and see where that takes us, maybe we just weren't meant to be," she said, and hastily walked away.

Troy's POV
"What just happened? Did she break up with me? I really need to find out what's going on with me, and soon," he thought.
He walked slowly into the lunchroom, and decided he just couldn't sit at their table. So he decided to sit with Sharpay, and Ryan.
"What's the worst that could happen," he thought. Apparently he didn't even know the half of it.

No POV
"Bolton what are you doing," Sharpay asked him with a sharp tone.
"I'm sitting, down, and eating," he answered.
"I can see that much," she growled at him "why are you sitting here."
"Because Gabriella broke up with me, and I can't sit there," he answered everyone stared blankly at him "it's a long story, okay."
During that lunch Troy came up with an idea of how to get Gabriaella back. After lunch ask Sharpay what she thought of it.
