Chapter 12
The Next Morning
Hela came out of the room that had been provided for her to find Peter was the only one up sitting at the kitchen bar that had a wonderful view off of the cliff out into the bay. She took a seat beside him and began filling a plate with breakfast foods.
"Midgard is much changed since I was last here. The humans have progressed far," Hela said. "I spent considerable time on the internet you showed me after our negotiations."
The negotiations had been tense. At first Hela had wanted the crown of Asgard which was her birthright. That had been non-negotiable. The people of Asgard in general knew nothing of Hela and already had a king in her younger brother. Thor was willing to make her a lady and give her the appropriate lands and titles. But that was after ten years spent on Earth as a trial period. They weren't just going to let her back into Asgard straightaway.
"I imagine it has changed," Peter said. "It has changed much in just the past couple of centuries."
"I can see that," Hela agreed. "Your internet is comprised largely of pornography," She mused with a grin. "It seems humans have become very uninhibited. Reports have you seeing many women yourself. How many women are you bedding?"
"Fourteen," Peter answered honestly.
"An impressive number for you to keep up with. But given you are a celestial I should not be surprised. Still even a celestial would have trouble giving adequate time to each outside of the bedroom," Hela noted.
"Time isn't really an issue for me," Peter said from a second body that had walked out of a portal. "I've got that covered," A third Peter said following the second out of the portal.
Hela touched the two new men and said, "Interesting. Are you looking for a fifteenth woman?"
"Just like that?" Peter asked.
"I haven't been fucked by an immortal in millennia. Besides I can see I'll never have the throne. I can see how things are done around here. If I suck your dick and do other things then I will have an easier time of it around here. Am I wrong?" Hela asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You are not wrong," Peter confirmed. "I won't allow you to harm Asgard. I can see possible futures. If you attempt to take back Asgard you'll end up dead."
"Give me something else to occupy my time," Hela said as she fell to her knees.
Hela had not been immune to Peter's pheromones. She was soaking wet for him.

"She must have been," Sif said. "To sleep through that."
Jean and Sif went about loading up plates for breakfast. Hela found she was hungry once more too after what they had just done. She found herself getting to know the other two ladies over breakfast as they chatted.

Hela was not made aware of Odin's survival in a younger body. It was felt that this would have been bad for her to learn. Instead Odin and Frigga retired to a paradise world that was not Eden. This paradise world was one Peter and Tony had found that was meant for friends. Eden was for Peter and Tony's family only. Odin and Frigga still had quarters in the palace. But they only visited. Thor and Jane ruled in Asgard now.

Wakanda
It was time for the events of the Black Panther film from Peter's original universe. Only the terrorist attack that claimed T'Chaka's life in the canon MCU never happened in this universe. Peter had killed Zemo before the terrorist attack could take place. As a result, T'Chaka was still alive when Peter made it to Wakanda. He portaled close to Wakanda, shrunk down to tiny sizes, and then flew in the rest of the way. He was still cautious about sensors detecting him even at that size. The first thing Peter did was sneak into Shuri's lab. He watched her working for a while until he figured out how to access her computer system. The Jarvis class AI in Peter's suit quickly downloaded a copy of the Wakandan technical database.

Vibranium Mine
Peter watched and studied the vibranium mining operation for a few hours. The meteorite that had crashed on Earth and which he was currently inside of was massive. Peter chose a section that hadn't yet been mined by the Wakandans and they wouldn't reach for decades. He had been getting better and better at creating portals and manipulating them in his practice for Tiamut. He opened up a portal that swallowed a chunk of vibranium that was the size of several large houses. That should be enough for Peter and Tony to play with.

Heart Shaped Herb Room
Peter entered the chamber and saw many of the glowing plants that were in the heavily guarded room. He located three plants near the edge of the room and portaled them back to the research team. With the exception of the vibranium, Peter didn't really need anything too much from Wakanda. He already had incredibly advanced technology from all of the sources he had collected over the years. He already had access to methods of gaining abilities. But it was nice to have alternative approaches to things. There were quite possibly technologies in the Wakandan database that he hadn't come across before.

Wakandan Council Chambers
T'Chaka was presiding over a meeting of the Wakandan ruling council when Peter arrived. T'Challa was sitting at his father's side learning the art of leading. Peter telepathically located the minds of everyone in the room and then sent a vision. At the speed of thought it took only moments in the real world for everyone to experience the vision. The vision had started off showing the scene with T'Chaka, Zuri, and N'Jobu in an American apartment building that resulted in N'Jobu being killed by his own brother. Then the vision went on to show Erik Killmonger, N'Jobu's son, growing up and becoming an American operative. It showed how many people he had killed. The vision showed Erik coming back to Wakanda, defeating a weakened T'Challa in combat, gaining the powers of the Black Panther, ordering the heart-shaped herb destroyed, and how many Wakandans had died as a result. The vision also showed T'Challa coming back and defeating Erik being forced to kill him. It showed T'Challa opening up Wakanda to the world to better help those out there in need.
The council elders looked stunned at what they had seen. Everyone quickly picked up on the fact others had seen what they had seen based on their expressions. T'Challa was the first to break the silence.
"Father, is it true? Did you kill your brother?" T'Challa asked.
"It is true," T'Chaka said in shame. "I have long feared my secret would come out. I have done everything I could to atone for that one act." Zuri came rushing into the chamber and quickly noted the expression on the faces of others. "They saw a vision of the truth too."
"N'Jobu was going to kill me or possibly his own brother," Zuri said while looking at the council members. "Has T'Chaka not been a wise and good king."
"He has," The Mining Tribe elder said. "But leaving the boy behind appears to have been a mistake. Allowing him to challenge for the throne is an even bigger mistake. I do not know that any of our warriors would have prevailed over him."
"What can be done about him?" W'Kabi asked.
"This must be a vision from Bast. We shouldn't squander it," T'Challa suggested.
"I will step down after this incident is over," T'Chaka said. "I believe the right to challenge should be amended."
"How so?" The River Tribe elder asked.
"We need to come up with a test of character for all heirs and challengers," T'Chaka suggested.
"A wise precaution," W'Kabi agreed. "I think we are all agreed that Erik should not be allowed to challenge." There were nods of agreement all around. "What do we do if he comes here anyway?"
"Turn him away," T'Challa suggested. "If he comes back, we imprison him."
"Those in agreement," T'Chaka said. Everyone agreed. "Then it is settled. I shall step down citing that it is time for me to retire."
There was no disagreement from anyone on this matter. Peter watched things play out for a little while. But he thought things had gone as well as could be expected. He liked T'Challa. But he thought the tradition of having the heart-shaped-herb powers nullified before a challenge was beyond foolish. He had one last thing he wanted to do before he left the area.

Peter found Nakia in deep cover in a different part of Africa trying to stop some slavers. The slave caravan was currently stopped for the night with Nakia asleep. He telepathically caused her to experience deeply erotic visions of being with T'Challa, her ex-boyfriend. T'Challa still had strong feelings for her. She had feelings for him as well. Nakia also saw visions of her as T'Challa's queen. She woke with the realization that the best way she could help the most people was being at T'Challa's side. She realized they didn't have to reveal themselves to the world as a technologically advanced civilization to help. There was more they could do from behind the scenes. She decided then and there to go to T'Challa and see if they might rekindle what they once were.

Planet Riata, Club Prias
Carol strode into the club she had never been in before and scanned the crowd. It looked to be a fairly hopping club. There were many species present including many humanoid species. She spotted a handsome humanoid male that if she didn't know better she would swear was human. She strode over to the bar near him and waited for the bartender. She was almost sure he wasn't human. Now that she was standing near him Carol could feel power steadily radiating from him.
"I'm Peter. Can I buy you a drink?" Peter asked.
"Sure. The name is Carol. What brings you to this part of space?" Carol asked.
"Just exploring and seeing what is out there to see," Peter said before pausing to let Carol order her drink. Peter ordered what she was having for himself as well. "Yourself?"
"Pretty much the same," Carol agreed. Carol knocked back her drink and then asked, "Do you want to dance?"

Later
Carol had a hell of a constitution ever since she got the infinity stone power-up. It took a lot to get her drunk. Even now after having consumed quite a few drinks purchased by Peter she was only feeling a slight buzz. She and Peter had been dancing for quite some time. The more she danced the more attracted to him she grew. Her powers had enhanced her libido. Every once in a while she went trawling for some strange dick. This was one of those times.
"Do you have a ship we can go back to?" Carol called over the music, sliding her hand down to cup his semi-hard manhood, leaving no doubt what she wanted.
"Of course," Peter said as he took her hand and led her out of the club.
The moment they were out of the club, Peter opened up a portal back to his ship.
"That's a pretty neat trick," Carol said with raised eyebrows.
"It is useful," Peter agreed.
Carol followed Peter into his ship. She took note the luxuriousness of the vessel. It was obvious Peter had money. He led her to a really nice bedroom. He turned when they were through the doors and kissed her. She eagerly returned it as her hands began to roam his body.

Carol stood at the entrance to Peter's ship. He was watching her with an expression she couldn't identify. They had fucked several times all over his ship in the last day. She was very tempted to stay with him to ask to travel with him. Instead she decided to settle with something less clingy.
"Will I get a chance to see you again? I wouldn't mind a repeat performance," Carol said.
"Anytime you want a repeat performance use this com device," Peter said as he handed her what looked like a small compact mirror.
It had a single button and a small screen.
"Range and how durable is this thing?" Carol asked.
"Several billion light-years and you would have to crush it with all your strength to dent the case," Peter said. Carol's eyes widened at that. "This will allow me to travel to you with my portals. It helps me locate you when you contact me."
"Wow," Carol said. "Impressive." She stepped up to him and kissed him. "But then everything about you seems to be impressive Peter," She added with a smirk before leaving the ship and flying off.

Two Months Later, Avengers Tower
"Thank you all for coming," Peter said as he looked out at those in the room before him. Sitting in the room was a team from the X-Men, every single one of Peter's lovers with a power that let them fight, Thor, an Asgardian general, T'Challa, Okoye, the Guardian's of the Galaxy, Thena, Ajak, Nick Fury, Maria Hill, Phil Coulson, and many more. Peter and Carol had been regular bed partners since they had met two months previously. He had told her fairly early on that he was actually from Earth. "My spies have just reported that Thanos is on the way with ten ships all the size of the Dark Aster," Peter explained as a hologram was projected for the room.
"What do we have against that?" Rocket asked.
"I am Groot," Groot said.
"We have fifty of these smaller but formidable warships," Tony said as a hologram. "We call them the Aegis class."
"Tony my friend. You wound me naming something after the Greek pantheon," Thor said, trying to joke and bring something light-hearted to the table.
"Wait, is the Greek pantheon actually real?" Clint asked.
"Of course," Sif answered.
"I enjoy a little sidebar as much as the next person," Tony said. "But perhaps we should get back on track. The plan is for the Aegis class ships to destroy many of the Aster class ships as possible."
"The fewer that get through the less troops Thanos has to fight with on the ground," Gamora added.
"Yes," Tony agreed.
"We won't stop them all in space though," Peter said while exchanging a look with Carol.
She planned to fight in space trying to help destroy some of the ships. She could easily handle a few of the ships on her own. But the rest would just push through.
"What do we have in the way of ground forces?" Clint asked.
"The army of Asgard is with Midgard," Thor said.
"The army of Wakanda is as well," T'Challa added.
"The sorcerers of Kamar Taj also stand with Earth," Steven Strange added.
"Xandar would normally be here. But they are still recovering from a strike by Thanos' forces recovering the power stone. It was a surgical strike but still hit their military hard," Peter explained.
Thanos thought he had the power stone from Xandar. But it was a fake. Thanos believed he had many of the infinity stones. But all except the soul stone were fakes.
"And what is Thanos' objective?" Charles Xavier asked just so everyone was clear.
"To get the remaining infinity stones and destroy half of all life in the universe," Gamora answered.
"Why don't we just destroy the infinity stones that are on Earth?" Bruce asked.
"Because even if a stone is destroyed for a time it will just reform at a later date somewhere else in the universe. At least here and now we control where Thanos will come for them," Peter explained. "We need to kill Thanos. Thanos' forces will be here in five hours. Take this time to spend with your loved ones and prepare yourself. Every superhero on Earth that has been contacted will help."

Peter took his own advice. He spent the intervening time with his ladies cuddling and talking.

Earth's Solar System
When Tony had informed the group that Earth possessed only fifty Aegis class starships he hadn't been lying. What he failed to mention was the 500 PoStar battleships that had recently been completed. Starship creation had been high on Peter and Tony's priority list. Every single ship was equipped with a cloaking device like the one on the Domo, the starship that had brought the Eternals to Earth. Peter and Tony planned to tell very few people about the additional starships which were only going to step in if absolutely necessary. Those ships were one of their aces in the hole.
Peter stood in the Avengers facility in upstate New York located away from the population center that was New York City. He and the other combatants watched as the ten Aster class ships dropped back into normal space.
"I should be up there with Carol," Jean sent telepathically.
"As should Quill and I. But we are better served here on the ground," Peter replied.
The Aster ships had no idea anything was in their way until twenty-five energy beams hit the two outermost ships at the same time. These were larger versions of the uni-beam Tony could project from his armor. At the same time Carol launched herself from one of the cloaked vessels and began tearing through a third ship. Thanos' fleet didn't slow down as it headed towards Earth. But three of the outermost ships in their formation were destroyed within half a minute. The next ships began lighting up the sky with energy rounds. Whenever one of the cloaked ships was hit it would reveal their location. The outermost aster ships targeted the position of the revealed ships. It was a running battle towards Earth's atmosphere. Only five of the original ten Aster ships reached Earth's atmosphere. Two of those five ships turned to cover the three remaining ships as the cloaked fleet and Carol tore into them. The three ships dropped through the atmosphere lighting up the sky with their passage. The moment they were in range the three ships deployed drop vessels to rapidly get their armies on the ground.
"It looks like we're up," Tony said as he flew out of a hangar door that was open.
Peter and the rest of their army followed. Thanos and several of his "children" floated ahead of their army on a hovering platform. Peter, Tony, Gamora, and Steven Strange mounted their own platform and met between the two armies.
"Daughter, you disappoint me," Thanos said when they drew closer.
"You mean because I didn't meekly let you slaughter me like you did Nebula," Gamora said caustically.
"It pained me greatly what happened to your sister," Thanos said.
"Yet you still did it," Peter spoke up to say.
"So, you are Peter Parker, the so-called Spider-Man I've heard much about over the years. Surrender the tesseract and time stones," Thanos said.
"So you can murder half the universe," Peter said with a snort of disgust. "You do realize that if you treating a symptom, not a cause. If you wipe out half the population of the universe they would just repopulate the universe. Better to use the stones to make everyone want to limit how many children they want to have so that they don't go beyond their environment's ability to support."
"I'll consider doing that with the remaining half of the universe's population," Thanos said.
"In that case I think we are done talking," Peter said as he opened a portal below his platform and willed the platform to shoot down through it.
"Well that was a bust," Tony said.
"It did serve one purpose," Gamora said.
"If by some chance Thanos does win then his plan may have some small benefit," Steven said. "He would alter the remaining half of the universe. But I wouldn't put it past him to botch that up."
Any more words were useless. Thanos' army charged. Earth's defenders charged. Peter had taken a moment to utilize the time stone, setting what was essentially a save point in the timeline which the universe would jump back to if he didn't disable the save point. The first line in Thanos' army was six-limbed humanoid creatures with a lot of teeth. Earth's defenders tore into them. Peter ran into the battle beside his allies, an energy rifle in his left hand and an Adamantium sword in his right. He fell into a state of mind where he honestly couldn't tell you what happened later. He just remembered tearing anything in his path apart.
The first sign that Thanos had the soul stone was a wave of cold washing over the battlefield. Peter imagined this was what dementors felt like. Thanos picked up an Asgardian warrior by the neck. Visible energy seemed to flow out of the Asgardian into Thanos along with the Asgardian's life. Thanos threw the dead husk of the warrior aside casually and appeared stronger somehow. Peter shrunk down and disappeared from sight. Maybe thirty seconds later Thanos clutched at his head and let out a cry of pain.
"What…no," Thanos cried out just before his head exploded.
Where once Thanos' head had been there was no a gore splattered spiked ball of Adamantium. The shrunken ball carried into Thanos' brain had been allowed to grow to normal sized again by Peter.
Those around Thanos stared in stunned surprise. Then the entire universe glitched. Everyone once again found themselves back where they had been the moment the battle began. Those who had been killed were once more alive. Some of the combatants paused. This would cost them. The battle recommended. Thanos looked around in confusion. Then he resumed fighting.
At the same point in the battle, Thanos looked up as a portal opened above his head. Jean Grey in full phoenix form burning with fires hotter than a star screamed out of the portal and engulfed Thanos along with all his closest minions. Thanos let out a primal scream as he died by fire. The universe once more glitched.
The battle restarted. Thanos looked even more confused. More combatants paused this time. But the battle still continued. This time when a portal opened up, it was Hela and Carol who came through. Between the two women they attacked Thanos with a ferocity he had never seen. It was Hela's dagger through Thanos eye that triggered the temporal reset this time.
This time Thanos raised his hand signaling his generals to stop the attack. Thanos' forces ground to a halt a hundred feet from Earth's defenders.
"What is the point of this?" Thanos asked as he walked to the front of his forces and stared at Peter, Tony, Gamora, and Steven Strange.
Steven was looking at Peter with realization. Steven had realized he himself didn't actually possess the real time stone.
"You're spoiling our fun Thanos," Tony said. "You were supposed to die a coupe of dozen times before you were willing to talk again."
"We all know plans rarely survive contact," Peter said as he stepped out in front of the army. "The point was to kill you a bunch of times and enjoy your suffering for all the suffering you have caused asshole. But I suppose we can end this farce quickly. It's rather simple. You versus me. Winner gets the infinity stones."
"Peter," Quill objected. "That wasn't what we discussed."
"Relax everyone," Peter sent telepathically to his side. "I won't really give this asshole the infinity stones. If I somehow manage to lose the loop will reset and then everything we planned for can be used to curb stomp asshat."
"So you do have the stones. How many?" Steven asked.
"All but the one Thanos has," Peter replied
"Done," Thanos said, unaware of the telepathic conversation that had just taken place at the speed of thought.
"Go kick his ass Peter," Gamora encouraged.
Thanos and Peter approached one another. When they were a dozen feet apart they charged. The resulting exchange of blows threw many members of both armies off their feet. The two were up and at one another faster than any human could have managed. Peter's baseline strength was no match for Thanos' before he began tapping into his celestial abilities. But the practice of tapping into his celestial abilities had made a world of difference. Peter was able to match Thanos blow for blow.
Thanos knew he was in trouble when his double bladed sword glanced off Parker's armored suit. When Parker caught that blade in glowing fingers which seemed to crush and melt his blade, Thanos knew true fear. Parker began to give off huge amounts of energy which started to burn Thanos' flesh each time they exchanged blows. If anything Parker seemed to get stronger and stronger as the battle wore on while Thanos seemed to grow more tired.
"What are you?" Thanos asked during a lull in the fighting.
"A celestial motherfucker," Peter said. "And this is without me tapping into the infinity stones." Peter seemed to blur forward once more. But this time when Thanos tried to fight back, Peter ripped Thanos' arm completely off with a casual brutality that showed how futile Thanos' efforts had been. Peter now held the arm that had contained Thanos' infinity gauntlet with the soul stone. As he casually tore out the stone and tossed aside the gauntlet, Peter explained, "That is what I could do tapping into the stones. Do you have any last words before I wipe you from existence you piece of shit?"
Peter's eyes glowed brilliantly as he felt the power from all six infinity stones coursing through him.
"Has everything I've been doing pointless? You've been toying with me all along?" Thanos asked.
"I wouldn't say toying with you," Peter said.
"He was just prepared for you father," Gamora said in a mocking tone as she stepped up beside Peter.
"Let it begin," Peter said as everyone who had been personally wronged by Thanos found themselves holding an adamantium dagger. "Everyone holding a dagger gets one stab at Thanos. Form a line and don't make it a mortal stab if you can help it unless you are at the end of the line."
Drax got at the front of the line. Thanos found himself locked in place by Peter's power. A glowing shield formed between Thanos and his army powered by the infinity stones. Each minion that raced to aid Thanos disintegrated as they hit the shield starting with Cull Obsidian. Peter wasn't even tapping into the full power of the infinity stones for this task. With practice he had gotten very good at channeling just enough energy to do the job.
After dozens of stabs, the shield holding back Thanos' army swept out and disintegrated all of the enemy combatants. Peter stepped forward towards Thanos and decapitated Thanos' with his blade. When his head hit the ground Thanos' eyes rolled wildly. But he didn't die.
"What…what is happening? How am I not dead?" Thanos asked.
"The infinity stones," Peter said as he telekinetically floated the severed head into the air. "Death is too easy for you. Welcome to your new existence."
Peter focused his mind on a list of changed he wanted to make which he had been memorizing and meditating on for years. He began channeling the full power of the infinity stones as he did this. When it was all ready he released his will along with the power of the stones. The universe was reshaped.
