Chapter 2: Grand Theft Heart

Josie arrived at the Legendary Cubit Garden in Mixel Land which is where all Cubits come from no matter what Mixel tribe it is. That includes Rainbow Cubits too. She looked at a pastel rainbow heart-shaped idol with a rainbow Cubit-like gem in the center on a pedestal; it was the Heart of all Cubits.

"So, this is it, the Heart of all Cubits," Josie said to herself. "I didn't know it would be so cute."

She looked at the Heart and decided to poke it a bit, wondering what it could do. Suddenly, the Heart suddenly unleashed a red beam of light into the ground as an Infernite Cubit appeared.

"Well, that explains it." said Josie.

Then, she stared at the Heart for 10 seconds until she heard the sound of "Nix!"

"Huh? What the-" Josie said before something fell on her head, hitting her. "Hey!"

Then a Nixel appears and lands on the ground, saying "Nix, Nix, Nix!"

"A Nixel?!" Josie exclaimed in shock. "You have got to be kidding me!"

"Mixels?" The Nixel said before it blows a raspberry. Then, it says, "Nixels? Heh..." It creates a gesture of thumbs up.

"Go away, you!" Josie yelled. "I mean it! You are not getting the Heart! No Nixels allowed! You're not welcome at the Legendary Cubit Garden!"

The Nixel hits Josie and says "Nix!"

"Dude, quit it!" Josie yelled, only for the Nixel to repeatedly hit her. "Hey, cease the lameness!"

Then, the Nixel attempts to nibble Josie's shoe, making her grunt as she kicks the Nixel off, causing it to crash into a tree and pop out of its shell for a moment.

"Had enough?" Josie asked.

"Nix!" the Nixel said, angrily and whistled, causing a horde of Nixels to pop up surrounding the hero.

"Oh great, more Nixels." Josie said, annoyed.

Then, she summons a pink keyblade similar to Sora's keyblade with a long lighter pink Keychain extending from the hilt, and a pink Heart token on the end of the Keychain. The blade of the Keyblade is lighter pink with a pink heart for teeth, the rain-guard is light pink, and the guard is lighter pink and heart-shaped with a darkish pink handle; it's the Lovely Hearts.

"Let's get this over with," Josie said.

One of the Nixels tries to knock the Keyblade off of Josie's hand, but she counters the attack. The Nixel swarm retaliates and jumps on Josie, repeatedly scratching her as she keeps swatting the Nixels away.

"Sorry, fellas, but I'm afraid I can't allow you to unmix Heart!" Josie yelled. "Damn it! Why are there so many of them?!"

While Josie is still fighting Nixels, she didn't realize that the same Nixel that tried to attack her stole the Heart of all Cubits.

"Nix, Nix!" the Nixel said.

This made Josie notice as she turned around to see that the Heart is in a Nixel's hands.

"Hey, stop!" Josie yelled.

The Nixel runs away with the Heart as Josie starts to chase the Nixel.

"Get back here with that Heart or I will hunt you down and gut you like a fish!" Josie yelled.

However, the Nixels blocked her path, much to her dismay.

"Out of my way, you little bastards!" Josie yelled.

Then, the Nixels combine into a large robotic composite, letting out a roar.

"Of course." she said, rolling her eyes.

Then, she brandishes the Lovely Hearts towards the Nixel beast and charges at it, letting her slice at the hands of the beast, breaking them into Nixels that scatter on the ground. They quickly jump up and reform the hands and start to pound towards Josie's location while she continues to slice at it with her Keyblade. The beast falls into a pile, scooping the heroine up in a Nixel tidal wave, causing her to land on the ground as Nixels rain down on her. She continues to slice at the Nixels, but is eventually engulfed entirely by them.

Meanwhile at an underground realm with a greyscale cave-like structure, the Nixel arrived and approached a figure in the darkness.

"Well, Nixel, back so soon?" a voice asked. "Where's the Heart?"

"Nix. Nix." the Nixel said, taking out the Heart of all Cubits.

"Nixcellent!"

The figure's hands grab the Heart as it reveals himself to be...Major Nixel! He is, simply, an oversized version of a regular Nixel, only being elongated into a slightly more rectangular shape. He also has a silver mustache, large silver eyebrows, large eyes, sharp teeth, black and white epaulets on his shoulders, and a black and white square-shaped badge on his chest.

"The Heart of all Cubits is all mine!" Major Nixel said. "And once I destroy the Heart, it will be the end of mixing for the Mixels!"

He laughed evilly until he heard someone say, "Major Nixel!"

Josie, with her clothes torn and stained in her own blood (considering that she was bleeding heavily), entered the scene, Keyblade in hand and glaring at Major Nixel.

"I should've known you were behind this!" Josie yelled. "Hand over the Heart and nobody gets hurt!"

"GAH! That miserable human! Of course she had to get involved!" Major Nixel growled in anger. "No matter. You want the Heart? Come and get it!"

"Don't mind if I do!" Josie cried, charging at the villain.

Major Nixel then takes out the staff from Calling All Mixels and fights Josie with it, causing Josie's Lovely Hearts to clash with the staff as if it were a swordfight.

"So, still working for his Royal Highhorse, I see?" Josie asks. "I bet you plan to destroy the creation of all Cubits!"

"That's exactly what I'm gonna do!" Major Nixel replies. "Instead of fighting me, you should join us!"

"I'll never join you, Major Nixel! That is not what a hero does!"

"I don't understand why you'd wanna be the Mixels' hero."

"You don't understand because you're evil!"

Then, Josie grabs the Heart and runs off.

"Hey, get back here!" Major Nixel yells before turning to the Nixels. "ATTACK!"

The Nixels chase Josie, who is still running away as a lone Nixel follows the group and Major Nixel runs after as well, but stops and starts panting.

"All right…you guys go on up ahead…" Major Nixel said, sounding winded. "…I'm gonna stay here and catch my breath for a moment."

Meanwhile, the Nixels are chasing Josie with the Heart of all Cubits, chanting as the same Nixel tails the group.

"NIX!" said the Nixel.

Josie then runs up a tree and jumps off, making a turn. The Nixels smack into the tree and it breaks. Josie looks back at the Nixels and keeps running as the swarm of Nixels follows her

A single one pops up in front of the swarm and yells "NIX!"

"You know, if the Mixels were here, maybe they would help me." Josie said. "Apparently, I went alone and now, no Mixel will help me, which means I'm on my own!"

Without warning, she ends up running into a tree. She gets up, turns around and reacts in shock to see that the Nixels are surrounding her.

"Oh crap." Josie said.

"Nix! Nix! Nix! Niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiix!" the Nixel said, jumping at Josie.

However, Josie knocks the Nixel off with her keyblade.

"Enough is enough!" she yelled, glaring at the Nixels. "I'm not here to play games!"

"Then I guess it's game over then." Major Nixel says as he appears.

"You again?" Josie asked.

The villain approached her and said, "Hand over the Heart of all Cubits or Mixel Land is done for!"

"You wouldn't!" Josie cried.

"Try me."

Then, he grabs the Heart and the two struggle with it. As Josie pulls the Heart closer to her, without warning, the Heart ends up lodged in her chest, stabbing her in the process and causing her to bleed, much to the shock of not only Josie, but of Major Nixel and the Nixels as well. The Nixels have been known for stealing and breaking Cubits and causing mischief, but causing a girl to stab herself, even if it is by accident? This is a new low, even for the Nixels.

"Oh my god." Major Nixel said, letting go of the Heart.

Then, she stared at the Heart in the chest as she started to whimper and cry with tears in her eyes. Her shock turned to a mix of horror, pain and agony. This caused Josie to back up as she bleeds even more. She felt weak as her blood stained the ground. She could not believe she did that to herself! How would the Mixels feel about this? What about her friends? What about Kitty?

She looked at Major Nixel and said, "H-help me..."

Little did she know that she had stepped back towards a rabbit hole, causing her to fall backwards as she screamed. Major Nixel and his army watched in horror as they saw their human enemy fall down the rabbit hole. On one hand, the Heart of all Cubits is gone, but on the other hand, they killed Josie! Did they?
