Trunks, Xtrunks, and Piccolo looked down at the body of The Demon King as he finally fell to their combined might.

"We should go back up Kurai." Xtrunks murmured, "He should have things well in hand—"

He was cut off as a heavy ki saturated the area and clogged the air with a heavy feel of power. Xtrunks paled as he recognized Buu's ki very well by now.

"Kurai failed to stop it!"

Kurai landed just in time to see Buu's ball pop open and let out a cloud of pink smoke, Kurai scowled as the pink cloud began to coalesce.

"Damn it!" He snarled.

Babidi laughed as he saw the cloud coming together, "Finally! It's time for Buu to be revived! And it wouldn't do to not have others to experience this glorious moment and act as Buu's first challenges!"

He waved his hand and in a flash of light, Vegeta, Goku, and Gohan were unceremoniously dumped on the floor. They quickly got to their feet upon sensing Buu's Ki as their eyes locked onto the pink cloud.

Suddenly a force field made of a dark purple ki surrounded the pink cloud, infusing the ki into Buu's cloud, lightning flickering around it before a wave of force erupted from the cloud that was suddenly tinged purple. Several dark portals began to form and pulses of pink ki began to leak out of them as they crackled ominously. Babidi nearly panicked until he saw Fuhai, hand outstretched as his ring glowed as he fed power into the forming Majin.

"What are you doing?" Babidi demanded, panicked as he realize that without Buu he was defenseless, "Why are you delaying his revival?"

"Why I am simply making him a more interesting specimen. Maybe adding a few more… friends to the mix. " Fuhai replied happily, "That is something that should no doubt please you no?"

Babidi would've agreed, but eyed the Saiyans and shook his head, "I need him to protect me now!"

"Oh, do not think of me so foolish as to allow them to interfere!" Fuhai declared.

Kurai made to rush the demon realm denizen, but a blur of teal blue rushed him and he grunted as a unexpected Majin held him in place. Kurai's eyes widened in shock as he realized this wasn't an unknown Majin, this was a time patroller — he had worked with a variety of patrollers during his missions and when he traversed Conton City so he could recognize them even if he didn't know their name — who was exhibiting the same dark aura as someone under mind control! This couldn't be possible! The scroll that had led to his forcible relocation had been damaged, there should've been no way to access this timeline! But at this moment none of this mattered, his allies all were ready to free him but Kurai couldn't let them kill the patroller.

"Just knock them out!" Kurai shouted, struggling to give his allies some room so he could be freed without damage, "That should be enough to break the mind control!"

"I know you've been pining over your lost friends, Time Patroller!" Fuhai stated, eyes shining with mirth, "So I thought I would being a few over for you to get some of what you lost!"

'A few?' Kurai thought in confusion.

Just as those thoughts got through, as three other patrollers crashed into his allies and literally tackled them into the distance.

"You kidnapped more of us?!" Kurai shouted in rage before the Majin kicked him in the stomach and sent him flying away, he flipped and landed on his feet.

"It was a shame they weren't strong enough to survive on some of their missions!" Fuhai crowed in glee, "The fact that their bodies couldn't be recovered was just bad luck!"

Kurai transformed into his mystic form, after he knocked out the patroller he was going to erase Fuhai from existence.

He just hoped that he could send the patrollers back to The Time Nest otherwise The Supreme Kai of Time was going to throw a fit.

Maybe he could go back too.

Gohan grunted as he managed to free himself out of the grip of his assailant and blinked as he saw a young woman his age in front of him, aura dark and crackling lightning around her form as her eyes glowed red. Gohan got into his stance and his eyes widened as he saw a tail that was wrapped around her waist like Vegeta and Nappa had when they first invaded Earth.

She was a Saiyan!

That wasn't important at the moment though, what was were the odds of winning this fight and stopping whatever Fuhai was doing to Majin Buu. Gohan had had some time to recover after using Super Saiyan 3 to overpower Cell as he was stuck in the decimated battleground without a way out with Vegeta and Goku. He had recovered some of his stamina but he was still fairly tired and knew that if he had to go transform to Super Saiyan 3 again, he would not last more than a minute. He had simply used up too much power in his fight with Cell and now he was paying for it.

Gohan grit his teeth as she launched herself at him, one exhausting fight and right after he had to go Super Saiyan 3? The most he would be able to support was Super Saiyan; maybe Super Saiyan 2 if he could temper his output. He blocked several of her blows before darting out of the way of a point-blank ki blast. He drifted back as she lowered her hand and looked up at him, eyes narrowing as she regarded him carefully.

He scowled as the female saiyan grinned maliciously and transformed into a Super Saiyan as her dark aura mingled with her golden ki.

Gohan transformed as well and took his stance, he could tell this 'patroller' was not going to be a pushover if Kurai was any baseline.

This was going to be tricky.

Goku frowned at the Namekian who was attacking him, Goku hadn't been pushed to be tired out as Gohan currently was, his fight with Turles and The Cell Jr.s hadn't been enough to make him even break a sweat. That being said, he could tell the Namekian was strong enough that he could stall Goku long enough to cause some real problems if he didn't hurry it up. Goku transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 only for the Namekian to smirk and power up even farther to match his power. Goku couldn't help that excitement that was bubbling up within him.

Now he actually had an opponent he could really fight!

Vegeta smiled as he considered the Frost Demon shrouded in dark aura in front of him.

Honestly he didn't know how he was getting so lucky today.

First a bastardized and weak version of Kakarot that he destroyed and now a member of Frieza's race?

He would enjoy this for days to come!

Kurai batted the fists of the majin he was fighting away, trying to move around him to rush at Fuhai, but the mind-controller patroller was more than decent enough to keep him from getting there.

"You know," Fuhai called out conversationally, "It's not like you need to worry about me so much, as I said I am simply observing the changes in your timeline that occurring due to our interference."

"Our?" Kurai inquired, baffled.

"Our's." Fuhai confirmed a dark smile on his face, "After all, you and these patrollers shouldn't be here at all, but you — at least — are incapable of leaving. Your connection to be recalled to the Time Nest may be broken, but you are still an anomaly in the times. Just like me. You hide the fact of what you can do and your own God transformations, but how long are you going to hide the true extent of your abilities? How long can afford to hide just how strong you really are? Maybe I should visit Zamasu? Speed along his actions and desires? Or shall I inform Beerus of the Super Saiyan God on Earth this very moment? Maybe I should reveal right now what I am doing to Buu? I may be the one who is pulling in enemies and adversaries, but you are just as much the ones who defeat them, this unique timeline that Xtrunks made has endless opportunities for you and I to play!"

Kurai grit his teeth, partially in frustration and anger and partially because he only just managed to knock aside a powerful ki blast from the patroller he was fighting. As much as he hated to admit it, Fuhai had a point when it came to what Kurai was doing here — whether it was intended or not — he had never meant to end up in this timeline. He was stuck and affecting changes as he had been the one to incentivize the Z-fighters to keep getting stronger, he was the one to warn them about the future as best as he could. Whis had explained the dangers out haphazard time-travel and actions and consequence to Bulma before blowing up the Time Machine that Trunks had used to escape Zamasu to find help in the alternate timeline. Kurai had used a scroll of eternity, but was that different? Was it the same?

Would Beerus — because he was no delusions about beating the God of Destruction with his current power level — erase him and Xtrunks?

He shook off his doubts and focused on the here and now as focused on beating his opponent, the more time Fuhai had to affect Majin Buu, the more unpredictable the Majin would be.

So he had to stop holding back.

He checked that none of his allies were close enough to see his transformation and took a deep breath as he reached for his divine ki.

His ki raged red and then blue as he immediately powered up into Super Saiyan Blue —skipping right past Super Saiyan God — his opponent flinching from the sudden burst of power. Kurai didn't wait for the ki to die down and slammed his fist into the majin's face before driving another fist into the mind-controlled patroller's gut. He snap-vanished behind the majin and drove a punishing hammer blow into his back before he immediately launched a salvo of ki blasts into the majin before he hit the floor. He felt the tainted ki fade from the majin's ki signature and rushed at Fuhai, hoping to destroy him before he could do any more damage.

Fuhai sneered and vanished in a burst of purple smoke just before Kurai could drive a fist through his chest. he clicked his tongue but slipped out of his god transformation back to his mystic form before Buu could form.

He hoped his friends were doing better than he was.

Goku was in the midst of a good fight when he felt Kurai's ki abruptly disappear.

His eyes widened as that usually only happened when someone died.

He immediately scowled and powered up into Super Saiyan 3, slamming a fist against the Namekian's face hard enough to knock him out. Goku didn't dither although his transformation and blitzed towards the dark ki when Kurai's ki reappeared.

He didn't care or slow, that loss of a friend was too worrisome to ignore. And if someone did kill Kurai, he had to preserve his stamina.

Vegeta — in his Super Saiyan form — held the now unconscious patroller in his grip and scoffed, "Kurai came from your forces and this is all you can do?"

The patroller had put up a decent fight while Vegeta had been in his base, but the moment he turned Super Saiyan, the patroller couldn't keep up. The patroller used more of the corrupted ki to even things up as much as he could, but a 50 times multiplier was too much to match.

Vegeta flinched as he felt Kurai's ki vanish.

"What?" He snarled.

Vegeta didn't have many people he really cared about.

While in the other world, he was not allowed to have a body for a long time until Kakarot and all the other Z-fighters had asked for a favor. Once he had a body, there wasn't much to do but get stronger and train, and help pay off said favor by occasionally helping quell an uprising when a powerful foe tried to escape Hell. It had been cathartic to beat Frieza, Cooler, and their father when they teamed up with Cell after he hunted down the androids in Hell and absorbed them to assume his 'perfect' form. He paid off any debts with that and went along to battle them over and over, reaching new heights.

The lust for power was still there.

But he hadn't been able to stay unaffected by that much time spent around his rival, his allies, and watching his son nearly die over and over. How the woman who he had grown close to and gave birth to his son grow more and more hopeless as time went on. He wanted to be there, to save his family — because they were his family dammit and for all his flaws Vegeta loved them — from the oppression and death they were constantly surrounded by. When his son from another timeline came and finally destroyed the androids and save Kakarot's brat from dying, he realized what could've been if he had not been so smug and thought that achieving Super Saiyan would be all he needed.

Had he been able to raise his son.

The Saiyan race had dwindled so low, but he was their prince and he understood that their welfare fell under his responsibilities.

He dropped the patroller and dashed where the ki was coming from.

He might be able to save Kurai if he got there in time.

Gohan lay on his back, panting after finally knocking the female saiyan out with a masenko she tried to avoid.

He was so tired, he was tempted to just let himself pass out right there.

He twitched as he felt Kurai's ki vanish and his heart leapt this throat. Did Kurai just die? Gohan forced himself to his feet and immediately stumbled, landing on his hands and knees. He grit his teeth as his vision blurred in and out of focus as he struggled to keep the black at the edge of his vision to fully overtake him. He was too far gone, his back to back battles had completely shot his stamina and he had overworked himself. He hadn't had enough time to work on refining his Super Saiyan 3 and it burned through stamina like nothing he'd ever used before; activating that transformation and using it once was supposed to be his last resort until he practiced more with it. Fighting the Saiyan warrior right after had pushed him to his very limit and now he had nothing left in his tank.

Dammit, he would be worse than useless if he tried to help out like this!

He felt several familiar kis and realized that his friends — along with the two kai — had arrived at his location.

He almost passed out in relief.

"Gohan!" Trunks exclaimed, "Are you okay?"

"Fine." Gohan grunted as Xtrunks quickly rushed in to offer Gohan his shoulder, "Just pushed myself too hard. We need to get to Kurai! He couldn't stop Buu from being released! And his ki vanished, he may have almost died!"

Kibito pressed a hand against Gohan's chest and Gohan immediately felt himself heal and his power swell back to full.

Gohan sighed in relief before nodding in thanks, "Let's go!"

They all flew at the massive ki being formed.

Kurai stared in disbelief.

Why in the hell had all of Buu's different forms arrayed in the air?

Buu after he absorbed Gohan, Piccolo, Trunks, and Goten. So Buuhan.

Buu after he absorbed Gotenks and Piccolo. So Buutenks.

Buu after the time limit on the fusion ended and was mostly Piccolo. So Buucolo.

Kid Buu

Super Buu.

Evil Buu.

Good or Innocent Buu. Not important.

They all landed down and to look around and at Babidi and before the wizard could do more than open his mouth, Buuhan flicked his wrist and obliterated the wizard.

"I can't believe I ever listened to that lizard even as a lesser version of myself." He scoffed.

Kid Buu seemed to be sleeping until the sound of Babidi being killed woke him from his nap and he looked around. He grinned widely before he began to point and laugh at all the other Buus, grinning and cackling.

Majin Buu seemed to take offense to this and scowled at Kid Buu.

The other arrayed buu alternates looked at the cackling Kid Buu with distaste.

Kurai took an uncertain step back, this was probably the worst possible outcome he could've imagined. One Buu — in any form really — was bad enough but Kurai had beaten him before and he could beat him again if he had to. He was reasonably sure he could take on Buucolo and win and even take up to Buutenks in his mystic form. Buuhan was iffy at best because while he had not stopped preparing and training, he was only a smidgen stronger than he used to be as most of his time had him regaining his old strength and mastery of his forms. Even when he went on missions and had to fight Buuhan, he was nightmarish and the strongest form that Buu had ever obtained over the course of his life.

And that wasn't considering he now had multiple Buus to deal with.

Fighting one he could do, Fat Buu and Evil Buu were not going to be able to beat him. That however was him matching them one-on-one. Fighting the two was going to suck and he probably have to take a break right after. Three and he wasn't coming out on top if he didn't use his Super Saiyan God or Super Saiyan Blue and even then he wasn't accounting for the other ones he would have to try to corral.

Seven.

Seven Freaking Buus?

Oh just blow The Earth up now.

He needed to find a way to get them off planet and he didn't have a single clue as to how.

Maybe he could get them to kill each other?

Kurai quietly began to retreat.

Hell, maybe he could sneak away and —

"A Saiyan? You must be our warm up." Buucolo remarked before he could leave.

Well crap.

"Um…" Kurai floundered as all the Buu looked at him, "Can we take turns?"

All the buus — sans Fat, Evil, and Kid Buu (who was already laughing) — all laughed at him.

Before they could respond with actual words, Kid Buu flew into the air and began charging a massive ki blast, much to the actual shock of all the Buus, even the no-nonsense Evil Buu seemed taken aback at his counterpart's actions.

"Shit!" Kurai yelped and tried to fly up to intervene only for Buucolo to tackle him and put him in a chokehold to keep him from interfering.

"Come now." He said, "See if you can escape me in time to stop him!"

But as it turned out Kurai didn't need to as a ki blast nailed Kid Buu in the face and caused Kid Buu to lose focus on maintaining his attack.

Kurai twisted out of Buucolo's grasp and kicked him in the face to knock him away as he backed up to give himself room.

Kurai looked behind him to see who had interfered with Kid Buu's attempt to destroy the planet.

The Teal Majin time patroller was floating in front of him, fully healed from Kurai beating him down.

"You're awake?" Kurai inquired incredulously.

He had been using Super Saiyan Blue and he knew that no matter how strong a majin's healing factor was, it would take time to fully heal from that!

"Had a senzu capsule." The patroller replied.

"Oh."

The Buus all appeared around them in a circle.

"Mind explaining what the hell happened?" The teal Majin murmured nervously, "I was about to use the capsule to survive when I woke up in that crater and felt your ki and all these versions of Buu."

"You're in a alternate timeline that occurred that someone asshole with a distorted time ring is messing with time and fate to amuse himself." Kurai explained shortly, "He changed Buu's awakening and somehow pulled all of his incarnations over despite Buu never having absorbed them. He also mind controlled you while you were weakened and dragged you and a few other patrollers over."

The majin scowled, "I am going to turn him into a grape and stomp on him."

Kurai smirked he got into his stance, "Survive this, kill him later. What's your name?"

The majin powered up and replied, "My name is Hollo."
