Callie came bursting through the OT doors, already gowned up in one of the precautionary OR gowns and immediately rushed to Arizona's side.

"Arizona! I'm here. I took the jet. I came as soon as I heard. Oh god!," Callie panted out as she took ahold of Arizona's free hand, Arizona's other hand being clasped in Lucia's hand.

"You son of a bitch! Ahhhh" Arizona shouted as she relaxed a bit but the pain keep getting more intense.

"I know baby! I know! I know it hurts.." Callie tried to reassure her as she kissed Arizona's sweaty temple repeatedly

"No. No. No. You did this! Ahhhh!" Arizona shouted again

The doctor was glad that Arizona's BP was now under control, he just needed Arizona to redirect her anger in pushing.

"Robbins! I need you to push! Keep talking to Mrs. Torres, and keep pushing!" He commanded

"I can't! What the hell is this? Oh god!" Arizona panted out.

"Yes, you can. The more you push, the sooner the pain will be over, you are fully dilated now, keep pushing!" the doctor calmly responded.

Arizona closed her eyes and raised up, Callie went behind her and held both her arms from behind, and kept whispering sweet nothings in Arizona's ear, encouraging her to push harder. Despite the intense pain Arizona was feeling, the fact that Callie was here, charged her up with fresh energy. She felt as though the veins in her forehead were popping.

On the final push, she heard the doctor say, "That's it, we have him," and Arizona fell back. She opened her eyes and saw to the side, two nurses standing over the baby. Their baby. Milan. Their fresh start. Arizona could see his little pale arms flailing as he cried. And in that moment, everything seemed to stop for Arizona.

It's as if everyone in the room had frozen, except for her son. Any pain that she was feeling subsided as four swinging appendages held her attention. At that moment, nothing else mattered.

Once the nurses were done, they brought him over to her. Arizona held her breath in anticipation as he was gently placed in her arms. Oh. My. God. Callie stood beside her, shock and surprise written all over her face. Arizona could also see Lucia crying in the corner.

Their son had beautiful, shiny blonde hairs that were sparse, but enough to lightly cover his head in perfect little waves. And the cutest, tiniest round nose and pink lips Arizona had ever seen. He opened his eyes for a second to look at them, then closed them back and went to sleep.

Callie was stunned. She couldn't take her eyes off her baby. He was absolutely perfect. In every way, shape and form. Perfect. There were no other words to describe him or this moment.

"Oh, I love you," Callie whispered to the baby as she bent down to kiss his forehead. She then looked at Arizona's sweaty, tear stricken face and cupped it to softly place a kiss on her lips "And I love you"

Arizona looked up at Lucia. She had tears in her eyes, and she also seemed to be stupefied by the presence of this tiny little being. A product of her and Callie.

Milan. Named after the very city he was conceived in.

Their sweet little boy is here!

The next day passed in a blur for Callie. Arizona stayed in the hospital for the night and then their tiny unit was ready to move home. When they reached home, they were surprised with a cute little welcome party thrown by Mark & Lexie, who had filled their living room with gifts, toys and decorations.

After the small yet homey party, Callie found Arizona in the nursery, nursing Milan. And the sight took her breath away.

Arizona looked up with tears in her eyes, but was smiling from ear to ear. Her glassy eyes housed tears that were at the brink of spilling over and down her face at any moment. Callie walked over to the reclining chair and kneeled down in front of her. She finally broke eye contact with Arizona to stare down at their son. Milan's eyes were closed, but his little jaws flexed in and out drinking as much milk as he could.

"I'm so sorry Arizona, I couldn't be there for you when you went to the hospital" Callie whispered, afraid to speak loudly. She finally had a peaceful moment with her family and she wanted to apologise first before anything else.

"Hey none of that! You made it on time and that's all that matters! In fact, I'm sorry for calling you so many names!" Arizona replied softly as she adjusted their son in her lap, freeing up one hand to brush back a lock of hair behind Callie's ear. Her hand lingered on the carmel cheek.

If someone offered to pay Callie a billion dollars to explain how she felt at that moment, she would have lost out, because she honestly had no words. Nothing came to her mind, as she sat watching in awe at this beautiful moment. She looked back up at Arizona. Arizona was staring at her, and then Arizona's hands quickly wiped a tear away that came trickling down the brown eyes.

"I love you," Callie whispered, as she leaned over her son and kissed her wife.

"I love you too," Arizona whispered back, returning the kiss, and feeling empty again when Callie had to pull away. She could have continued kissing Callie for the rest of the night.

After a few more tugs, Arizona felt Milan let go, and his little mouth opened. They both could see his tiny little pink gums as he fell back to sleep.

"Wanna hold him?" Arizona asked.

Callie looked up at her. "Um, sure. But I've never done this before, you know," Callie nervously said. Between Arizona, Lexie, Lucia and Barbara, who flew in last night, Callie hadn't yet got a chance to hold her own baby. Not that she had dared trying.

"I know, but you have to learn, right?" Callie sat down near Arizona on the floor, and Arizona smoothly passed a sleeping Milan to his other mother for the first time.

"Is this good?" Callie whispered to Arizona, her arms feeling like steel bands, although her son felt surprisingly light.

Arizona giggled. She wasn't used to seeing Callie so unsure of herself. For the most part, Callie had been the most cocky, arrogant woman she had ever met. Now to see her looking to her for help, amused her. Callie was so cute when his guard was down.

"Yes, but just relax. You aren't going to hurt him," Arizona said, sliding down to Callie's side on the carpeted floor.

Callie finally took a breath and relaxed. She gently pulled Milan away from her chest, so she could get a good look at him. Her eyes roamed over every inch of her son's tiny fragile body. From his blonde hair, to his cute nose, tiny feet and even his fingernails. Everything about her son was perfect.

Funny, Milan has just entered their life, and already Callie knew in an instant without thought that she would give up everything she had, including her life, for her son. That was the truest statement she had thought in a long time.

Callie gently rubbed Milan's forehead and his soft, full cheeks. She lightly tapped his nose and then she bent down to kiss him. Arizona laughed and leaned over to kiss Milan as well.

Milan surprised both of his parents by suddenly waking, staring up at Callie. He gave a small yawn and continued to stare.

Callie's eyes widened. "He has blue eyes," he whispered in surprise.

Arizona looked down at Milan. "Yeah, for now. There's no guarantee that they will stay that color, but who knows."

And for a moment, it looked as though he smiled at them, before he closed his eyes, yawned again and went back to sleep. Both Callie and Arizona looked up, when they heard the door close. Callie chuckled. No doubt his ever-watchful mother looking in on them. But he was happy for her. This was something Lucia had wanted for a long time.

"I hope Mom hasn't driven you crazy," Callie said.

Arizona smiled, "No. She definitely smothers, but you know what...I haven't had that for a long time, so I welcomed it."

Callie continued to look at the little bundle in her arms. "God, he's just so amazing. I can't believe we created this. We definitely have to do this again."

Arizona scoffed. "Slow down there, baby. I'm still healing up down there, and you're talking about more? Um, nope...you don't get to mention more until a few years from now."

Well, that would be up for debate, but for now, Callie would let Arizona think she won.

"Whoa, whoa," Callie said, getting tense again. His son's face was contorting and turning red, as his legs started moving all around. He sucked in a few breaths of air before he belted out a strong cry. "Oh, shi—crap, what did I do wrong?" Callie didn't know what to do, so she just handed Milan back to Arizona.

Arizona stood up from the floor and walked Milan around.

Callie leaned back observing her wife. She watched as Arizona's cute hips sway back and forth, as she lightly bounced Milan. Callie couldn't think of a more beautiful sight.

How the hell did life bring her here? A little less than two years ago, Callie looked at people differently. In one glance at Arizona, Callie thought she knew exactly who she was. Someone who would never matter to her, and who was weak. Someone she could prey on. But Arizona sliced and diced that version of Callie Torres to shreds, and amazingly she didn't do it by force. Arizona didn't do it by being more cunning, or by any other sneaky methods. She accomplished a feat no other had, and she did it with love. Selfless, generous, unwavering love.

Callie remembered thinking that she had planned to teach Arizona a lesson the first night they met, for trying to throw a temper tantrum in her restaurant. But boy, did she find out she was the one being schooled.

She had been such an asshole back then. Callie got up and walked over to Arizona. She smiled down at her wife, before she captured her sweet lips. "I love you Arizona, so much!"

"I love you, too," Arizona whispered back.

Life in Seattle had really changed. From the moment Milan was born, Arizona had been constantly surrounded by people, but now….the scariness of being a new mom started setting in. Luckily, Lucia had practically moved in with them, so she was a tremendous help. Especially on those days when Arizona cried herself to sleep from lack of sleep.

And Callie was amazing. She took turns with Arizona when Milan would wake up in the middle of the night.

Besides nursing, she shared every motherly duty with Arizona but Milan was certainly a handful.

One night, Arizona had woken up, and Callie was gone. She walked to her son's room, and Callie was leaning over his crib, just watching him.

But tonight was a different story. Both of them had been worn out, when Milan flexed his little lungs and belted out a cry.

"It's your turn, baby," Arizona mumbled, digging her head further into the warm comfort of her pillow.

"No, he's calling for you," Callie mumbled back.

"What?"

"You can't tell the difference in his cries? This cry is for you, not me."

Arizona raised up and stared down at her wife with one eye still shut. "You are so full of shit."

"I have to get up in four hours...that trumps your card," Callie retorted, and turned over facing away from her.

Arizona slid closer to Callie, and pushed her right out of the bed. She had to hold in a giggle, when she heard Callie hit the floor with a thud. "Damnit," she heard Callie whisper.

"First off, you didn't carry an entire other person inside your body for nine months, and you damn sure didn't squeeze a watermelon through a hole the size of a lemon like I had to do...so that does, and will ALWAYS trump any card you throw my way. Now...I think your son is calling you," Arizona spat out, folding her arms across her chest.

She didn't hear anything for a few moments. Damn, maybe she pissed Callie off. Arizona was just joking.

"Callie?"

"It's actually comfortable down here. Can you hand me my pillow?" Callie asked, yawning.

Arizona grabbed Callie's pillow and leaned over the bed to hit her with it, when Callie quickly grabbed Arizona's wrists and jerked her down on top of her. Arizona shrieked as she slammed into Callie's soft chest.

Callie hugged her wife tightly. "See, I told you it was nice down here."

Arizona couldn't quit laughing. She slowly rose up and straddled Callie, placing her hands on Callie's boobs.

"You could have hurt me," she said, looking down at Callie.

"Never," Callie whispered, as she raised up to kiss Arizona's tender lips. She placed her hand behind Arizona's neck, forcing herself deeper into her mouth. Arizona moaned while Callie's other hand slowly inched further up her thigh.

Then Arizona's eyes widened as she pushed Callie away. "Oh my God, we're awful parents," she said laughing, as she hopped up from Callie, realising that Milan was still crying his little head off.

"I'll get him," Callie said, grabbing ahold of her.

"No, I'm up now. I'll go. He's crying for me anyway, remember," Arizona spouted sarcastically as she pushed past Callie.

Callie beat her to the door, and quickly entered into her son's room, with Arizona laughing and cursing behind her. She walked over to his crib, and found her son staring up at him. His cries had turned into hiccups and little tears were drying on the side of his face.

Callie quickly picked him up and held him close. "It's okay, Mom's here. Mean mommy tried to keep me away, but I'm here now," Callie cooed, grinning like a fool and looking over at Arizona as she kissed his son's cheek.

Arizona rolled her eyes, but couldn't hide her smile. "He's probably hungry, so mean mommy needs to feed him." Callie sat down beside Arizona, and gently rubbed her son's tiny feet, watching in wonderment as Arizona fed him.

Milan turned into such a good baby next, which was a plus during this time. He either slept or just amused himself by staring at different things, while she did her work. He rarely cried anymore, which Arizona tried to attribute to the fact that she could anticipate his needs before he felt the need to cry. But she needed to give him a bath before she started on her next assignment.

"Callie?" Arizona called out, as she walked into the living room. "Callie," she said again, before she quieted. Callie was lying on the couch on her back, while Milan rested gently on her chest. The two of them looked so much alike. What she was staring at now, was quite possibly the most beautiful thing she had ever seen.

Arizona wasn't sure how long she lovingly admired her two favourite people, but she couldn't take her eyes away from them. Callie's eyes were closed and her chest was slowly rising up and down. And Milan's little face was turned to the side resting on his mother's chest. His tiny little pink lips made an 'o' shape as he yawned, never once opening his eyes.

After what seemed like forever, Arizona quietly backed out of the living room and went back into Callie's study to open up the pending paper works of her restaurant. She glanced at the photo by Callie's laptop. It was a picture Lexie had taken of Arizona that first day in the hospital, with Milan in her hands, and Callie standing beside her. Arizona personally hated the picture because she had just woken up, and with all the pushing, sweating and lack of makeup ...she swore she looked hideous. But Callie wouldn't let her change it. She said it was her favourite picture.

A few weeks had passed, and life was finally getting back to normal for Callie and Arizona. Not that their relationship had ever been normal, but Milan brought that balance to their lives. Arizona couldn't stand to be away from him, even for a few hours. But they had agreed to go to Eli's house for a family and friends get-together. Eli seemed to be the centre of a very large, unique group of people, and they all seemed to have so much respect for him.

Callie and Arizona didn't want to bombard them all with a new baby, so they left Milan at home with Lucia, who was more than happy to take over. She had been visiting them, and was almost a permanent fixture in their home. So much so, that she basically spent every other month with them. She no longer had to pack for flights, since Callie had bought her a new wardrobe for her room at their house. And as overbearing as Lucia could be, Arizona loved having her there.

After they finally made it home from Eli's house, Arizona was so sleepy, that Callie had to carry her upstairs to their room, kissing her ever so often along the way. But Callie wanted to check in on the baby first, so they walked into Milan's room and glanced in his crib.

Neither one of them could still believe that he existed. Callie stared down at him. Even though their son tended to look a little more like Arizona, she prayed that Milan would also have Arizona's big heart. Her optimism and outlook on the world. Callie had thought of what she would say the day her son was a man and came to her asking about how her and Arizona's relationship started. Callie thought about what she would say. And she decided that the truth was the best. To admit that she wasn't always a good person, but Arizona changed that. Arizona decided to ignore the monster and look deeper to find the other person who had been hidden for years. And Callie hoped that answer would be enough. Only time would tell.

"Could he be any cuter?" Arizona asked, breaking Callie's train of thought.

"I think he needs a sister," Callie whispered to Arizona, pulling her away from the crib. "Let's get started on that." Arizona had got her doctors clearance yesterday, and it was about time they capitalise on that.

Arizona laughed heartily, as the two of them entered their bedroom. Callie went to take a shower, but Arizona didn't feel like budging. She was so tired, and instead opted to plop down face first on the bed, and stayed like that until she heard the shower cut off.

She finally crawled underneath the covers, when she remembered something from months ago. "Oh, hey Callie," Arizona yelled from the bed.

"What?" she heard Callie say.

"Some woman from that party we went to months ago invited us to her party. I forgot to tell you. It's a garden party, or key party...something like that. But she seemed nice, so I wanted to let you know."

Arizona watched as Callie slowly peeked around the corner from the bathroom with a quizzical look on her face, her short sexy hair still wet from her shower, falling around her face wildly. She paused mid-stroke while brushing her teeth. "What did you say?" Callie asked.

"She wanted us to attend her party," Arizona yawned.

"Well, what kind of party is it? Garden party or key party?"

"Hmm, I think she said key. But what's the difference?" Arizona asked.

Callie laughed. "Well, a garden party is a bunch of stuffy rich people eating outdoors and dressed in formal attire. A key party is when married guys place their car keys in a sack and their wives pull them out, and sleep with whichever person's key they pull out. Again, usually stuffy rich people. But different parties, baby."

Arizona almost choked, "What?! She couldn't possibly think that I would—oh my God, I can't...what is wrong with people?!"

Callie laughed, "My beautiful wife...making friends." She rinsed out her mouth and then stared over at her.

"Eww," Arizona said to herself. "I could never share you. Ever! Ew. Ew. Ew."

"Well, I'm definitely not the sharing type either."

Callie watched as her wife stared over at her with a big dimpled smile. A set of dimple that were slowly appearing on Milan's face as well. Arizona was absolutely stunning...and even more so now than when she first met her, if that were possible.

She slowly walked near her bed, untying the bathrobe in process.

"Hey, how much do you love me now?" Callie whispered over to Arizona.

Arizona pretended to think about it and then stretched her arms out. "This much."

Callie shot an eyebrow up. "Only that much, huh?" She said, as she dropped the robe to the floor.

Arizona widened her reach even more. "This much!" she said, trying to pull her arms completely in the opposite directions.

Callie sighed. "Hmm, only that much," she repeated, before she walked back into the bathroom in mock disappointment.

Arizona sat there staring incredulously at the door. Her freaking arms hurt from that little demonstration of love. Okay, she knew what to do. She didn't know where these ideas came to her from, but they did. "Callie!"

Callie opened the door again and leaned out. Arizona was lying on her back, completely naked with her legs in the air.

"I love you this much," Arizona said, as she slowly started opening her legs until she reached a full, very spread V shape. Holy shit...instant blood rush.

Lust took over Callie's features as she quickly climbed the bed in three big strides. She slowly slid her fingers from Arizona's ankles down the inside of her legs and then bent down to the apex of the V and kissed her glistening love nest.

Arizona whimpered, as Callie started to softly suck Arizona's sex. Arizona felt little jolts of electricity to her brain. She was very sensitive and Callie was working some kind of magic with her tongue. Arizona ran her hands through Callie's wet, smooth hair. "Ooh, Calliope...ooh, don't stop," she moaned breathlessly. Callie continued to lovingly assault her clit, by licking and lightly nipping it, as Arizona's legs turned into jello. And then Callie hit her spot. Arizona's eyes rolled back as a powerful orgasm rolled throughout her body in intense waves.

Callie crawled up her body and positioned herself on top of Arizona. She had yet to open her eyes. Callie leaned down and kissed her, wishing she could take a picture of Arizona at this exact moment.

Arizona gradually pried her heavy eyelids open, and stared up at her beautiful partner. She smiled at Callie dope-ly. "What did you spell with your tongue? I know it was something, you always do."

Callie kissed her again. "I spelled 'mine'. And don't ever forget it."

"Never," Arizona whispered back to her.

"And when did my innocent girl turn into such a sex kitten?" Callie asked, resting her body on top of Arizona's. Her little display of affection was beyond hot.

"It's all your fault. You corrupted me," Arizona said back, raising up to kiss Callie.

"Damn right," Callie muttered, crushing her lips to Arizona's, as her hard length entered her body at a torturously slow pace. She could feel every inch of herself being invited in by Arizona's wet sex. When Callie finally bottomed out, they both lightly moaned.

But Callie didn't start driving in and out of Arizona, and Arizona didn't start rolling her hips, driving Callie crazy like only she could do. Callie didn't bite Arizona on her neck, and Arizona didn't beg her to do so. They just stared at each other, neither one able to move due to some invisible bond that they were sharing at that moment.

Finally, Arizona spoke. "I love you, Calliope," she said, looking into her bright, brown eyes. Eyes that used to be as cold as a block of ice. But that ice had melted away some time ago, replaced by happiness, hope and...love. Love for her, and love for their son.

"I love you more, Arizona Robbins-Torres," Callie whispered. "Always."

Arizona wrapped her arms around Callie, feeling the wetness of her tears seeping onto her cheeks. She remembered when she thought that in just seven quick days... she could make a new start for herself. She couldn't have known then how true that statement would become.
