In a different area, two individuals wandered the empty streets of Kuoh. It was still night so they had certain cover from prying eyes, but also a small orb to conceal them from more… 'different' eyes as they headed up to an abandoned church.

"Ahh! Here we are! Home, sweet home!" One of the voices chimed up with delight as the person took a seat, "Get comfortable, kid. Cause this is where your new start will begin."

The second individual timidly nodded. As they looked around, the second figure felt like they were being watched. At first, they thought they were just imagining things, but as they entered the abandoned church, a set of six blue eyes observed them before disappearing.

After hanging upside down, Demons landed on his feet and pressed the side of his helmet.

"This is Demons to Noah, come in." the Devil Hunter reported on a comn link.

"Hey, been awhile since I've heard your voice, kiddo! What's the call for?" A peppy voice responded onto the comm link, making Demons groan out from it.

"Got confirmation. Twilight Healing has arrived to Kuoh." He reported.

"Great!" 'Noah' cheered.

"And I can imagine the cache of Vistamps is good enough reason to keep the repair cost low this time around, I hope?" Demons said while he crossed his arms.

"Indeed, so can that Sacred Gear too. Could do a lot of good for you and that slowly decaying body of yours." The comms person chuckled out.

"Hey, its not my fault I got hit with that curse!" Demons growled, "Besides, I ain't letting my family name die just because of a rookie mistake!"

"Hey, Hey, Hey! Don't Worry!" 'Noah' said in english, a little quirk he developed.

"Anyways, I got bad news. Looks like the Gremorys have got their own Devil Hunter on hand." Demons reported while swinging away from the church, "Called himself Kamen Rider Live, like that show you watch."

"That is bad… I'll send maybe another Vistamp over to ya just in case." 'Noah' noted.

"So far I got White Leo, Kajiki, and Hashibiroko at the ready, so I'm guessing that Kitsune stamp is next?" the Devil Hunter guessed.

"Hehe, you know me too well, kiddo." 'Noah' chuckled out.

"Please tell me you didn't make it another Rider-based one." he hoped.

"You know that's the only way to purify them! Otherwise you'll have a second head at this point. Or maybe just another voice to talk to?"

"Please, Vail is enough already." the Devil Hunter groaned, "No offense by the way, partner. You're fine."

"Hmph, as long as I get some of that demonic energy, I'll be fine. For now…"

The sinister laughter made Demons groan in exasperation, 'Why did my great grandfather tame you again?'

SONG: Dance Dance - Da-iCE ft. Subaru Kimura

/PRELUDE/

As the song starts, a guitar tunes out as many others sing along with an harmonized acapella. A curtain soon opens to reveal the girls dancing before showing Cody and Tyson back to back, smirking as the logo appears.

/mienai "endo" ni obietatte

As Cody first comes up, it shows him walking to school only for a flash to occur as he turns around to only briefly see his inner demon only to fade as Asia and Rias greets the young boy before they head onto the school, with the blonde holding up the Bat Vistamp.

/Kokoro ni sumitsuita akuma ga sasayaku

It soon jumps to Tyson watching the sunset before noticing Xenovia disapprovingly standing behind him. The boy rolls his eyes while a visage of Vail appears, holding the Spider Vistamp. In the background, Irinia chuckles at the pair's argument.

/No no no!

Suddenly, Vice pushes the scene away, returning the scene to the earlier scene, where Cody and Tyson are confused.

/Never too late ubae Just now

The inner demon starts rapping much to their confusion, but Cody rolls with it and begins to sing as his inner demon smirks from the shadows.

Vice soon continued to rap before Tyson fired a web and brought the spotlight back to himself and Cody.

As the visages of Shadow and Vail appear, the two face each other and prepare to transform.

Cody/Tyson: "Henshin!"

It soon jumps to a battle between Live and Demons atop a rooftop, the spider Rider pulling himself towards the bat Rider for a drop kick, only for Live to dodge it and switch to Evil and knock Demons off-balance.

/Aragaitai te ni iretai

Luckily, the spider Rider countered by switching to the Batta Genomix and performing a powered-up Rider Kick on the bat Rider. When the dust cloud settled, the two stood against each other as the camera showed them staring each other down, the shadows of Evil, Live, and Demons in the background.

Meanwhile, Rias flew across the sky as she fought against Riser Phenix, the two clashing as their respective peerages clashed below them. As the battle wages on, Rias reaches out to Evil, switching him back to Live as the two deliver a combination attack to Phenix.

Though the scene changes quickly as the images of Kokabiel with excalibur, the chaos brigade, Loki, and more appear, showing that the continuing fight against those that harm them are going to become more difficult by the day.

But as the song begins to relax a bit, it then shows Cody with the Occult Research Club together, having a nice party as the young blonde turns to the fiery redhead, exchanging smiles of delight and love.

At least until he gets a web to the face, making Cody angry as he turns to see Tyson with a wicked smirk. The two quickly charge at each other as the opening ends.

CHAPTER 3: A Devil Soaring on Angel's Wings

The next morning, Cody was walking to school on his own, left with only his demonic self as company.

"So, what's next on the agenda?" Shadow asked the nephilim, "I mean we're likely on our way to finally getting back at that bug bastard, even though I feel like we are way WAY too underprepared to do so."

"Well I'm stopping to get some snacks and such. I'm not facing against him yet…" Cody sighed out.

"Good. Don't want you rushin' into your doom, again. But anyways, I'm curious. I saw that little toy of yours and it seems to have a second mode." Shadow pointed out, "So likely that means-"

"No, you're not taking control again." Cody said, swiftly denying his other half.

"Heh, and here I thought you were so gun-ho about fighting Demons."

"I do want to pay him back for everything, but Rias said no. and I'm not that dumb to disobey her." Cody pointed out, "We'll pay him back, but in due time… For now, I just wanna have a fun, relaxing weekend tomorrow."

"Aye aye." Shadow sighed, going silent and allowing his angelic half to enjoy the morning breeze.

"Man… who knew it's be so exhausting having another personality inside ya?" Cody sighed out to himself. "Now, wonder what I can grab at the store today?"

"Kyaa!"

Cody flinched as he heard the yelp as he turned to see what looked to be a girl in a black nun dress, falling to the ground, most likely slipped. Worried for the girl he hastened his walk over to her as he offered her a hand up.

"You okay, miss?" He called out to the girl.

"I-I'm fine." the girl stuttered before she took his hand, "Thank you."

As the young nephilim helped her up, he soon took notice of her long blonde hair and blue eyes. Her face now in the sunlight as he got a better look and well, it didn't stop him from being at awe at how pretty the girl was, stunned a bit to even speak.

"Uhh… hi…" he muttered.

"Hello to you too, sir. Thank you very much for that. My clumsy self didn't expect to trip so easily." The girl giggled softly as she tried to brighten up the mood.

Just like with Rias, Cody was stunned and even felt his heart pitter-patter from this. Seems another girl that caught his heart was in full swing as he shook his head to catch himself from any thoughts.

"Oh brother… here we go again…" Shadow jeered loudly in the boy's mind.

"Shut it, you…" Cody whisper snapped at his other half.

"Don't give me that! You were totally going gaga for her, just like the Gremory bimbo!" the demonic self angrily pointed out.

"I will smack you, Shadow…" Cody growled.

"Smack me, and you end up smacking yourself, remember? We share the same body."

"Excuse me… but are you okay? You were muttering." The girl asked the nephilim, showing some concern for a moment.

"Oh uh… yeah sorry. Just a lot on my mind miss…" He said, wanting to see if she'd catch on and give him her name.

"Among other things…"

The girl giggled softly as she smiled with a nod, "Asia, Asia Argento. It's a pleasure to meet you." She responded to him as she was doing the same to know more.

"Cody Aldrich, and likewise Asia." Cody smiled at her, knowing he could at least make a friend from her. "Though judging your name I say… European?"

She nodded, "I'm actually with the Catholic Church." she revealed to the boy, "Although I guess that was obvious with what I was wearing."

Shadow rolled his eyes, "Oh joy, another religious zealot…"

"Oh, well what brings someone like you to here? A trip or something?" Cody questioned as he mentally slapped at Shadow.

"Actually I moved here… Um… its a bit complicated as to most of the reason why…" Asia said softly, as if it was a touchy subject.

Cody took notice as he smiled with a nod, "Well, then why don't I show you around since you're new here? It'd help a lot to know the ins and outs of this city." He offered to her, surprising the girl.

"Sure, I would love that."

The young nephilim smiled as he soon began to walk with her towards the more populated part of the city since they were in the more urban area. Once there, he began to point out to her the right roads and alleyways to go and avoid, due to his own personal experiences.

He even stopped at a mall for them to mess around and eat together as he grabbed some of the supplies he needed. Taking notice of her awe at one of the crane machines that had a really cute plushie of a rabbit. He play one round as it took him easily a few seconds to win the plushie as he gave it to Asia, not only for her friendship but to celebrate their first meeting this day.

As the two enjoyed their time together, Cody couldn't help but feel like he was being watched, a feeling that Asia shared as well.

"You have that feeling too?" Cody looked to Asia.

"I… I honestly do…" the nun agreed.

"Come on, I know a few ways to lose others." He smirked softly, as he soon took her hand and began to run with her.

Cody with Asia in hand ran through a few crowds, moving through some alleyways and more before he made a turn to allow them to return back to that small park they first met, the odd feeling now gone as the two panted.

"Heh, and thats how you lose people with ease." He chuckled out, hoping that little joke would make her feel better.

As he said that, Shadow saw something, "Watch your step, big shot."

"Huh?" Cody got before as the next step he took caused him to slip and fall. He soon felt his skin getting cut on a corner before dropping to the ground, hissing in pain.

"I tried to warn you." Shadow shrugged.

"Oh my! You're hurt!" Asia gasped as she kneeled down to him.

"It's just a scratch. I'll be fine." He reassured her with a wince.

Asia frowned softly with worry before she shook her head. She soon held up her hands as a soft glow appeared around the wound as in seconds the pain and the wound were healed up as this astonished the young boy.

"Was… that some kind of magic…?" Cody got out, surprised that she had such power.

"It's my power of healing." Asia explained to the boy, "It's an amazing power granted to me by God."

"...What?" both Cody and Shadow said.

"I don't know how to explain it, but one day I was able to heal someone. And I knew it was God's will and my praying that He granted me such a gift." Asia smiled before she got on one knee and began to pray, only for Shadow to start hissing out in pain from that, translating to one side of Cody's body feeling like he was just stung by a bee. "Oh, are you alright?"

"Yeah, I guess…" he said, "C-Come on, let's get you home."

Asia smiled as she soon followed after the boy, leading him to out past the town as the two of them began to climb a hill. Cody taking a notice of a church at the top and in seconds he felt his other half and his own body tensing up with what felt like dread.

"I think I can handle going back now, thank you so much Cody." Asia smiled with a bow.

"Of course Asia. I do hope to see you again." Cody smiled back to the girl as she waved as she made her way. Once far enough he glared at his own actual shadow, "Okay Shadow. What the heck was all of that about?"

"Didn't the Gremory warn you before? Devils can't go near churches!"

"And that odd stinging feeling?"

"Nephilims are half-demons, dumbass! What do you think would happen?"

Cody winced a bit, his other self had a point. In spite of his angelic side, the boy still had his demonic heritage to deal with when entering church.

"I just hope I don't get scolded… I was just wanted to do nice by Asia." Cody groaned as he left.

In spite of this, a figure watched from the church and sneered at the nephilim.

At the ORC…

"Just what were you thinking?!" Rias scolded the young nephilim.

"Thank you for stating the obvious!" Shadow agreed, joining in on the boy's scolding.

"Even as Nephilim, you're not fully immune to both devils and angels' weaknesses. And should their have been a priest at that church or worse, another Devil Hunter, you would've been erased on the spot by them!" Rias scolded . The Gremory heiress knew he was doing right by human standards, but he still needed to be more careful.

"I'm sorry… I just didn't think that it'd be a problem if I got her close enough." Cody winced as he was swatted on his head by a rolled up newspaper by the redhead.

Rias sighed heavily, rubbing the temples of her head. She knew he wasn't trying to cause a problem. Yet his carefree outlook was making things difficult for her to explain to the other Satan's and then telling the other races about the progress the nephilim is going through.

"What am I going to do with you?" she grumbled aloud.

As the group sat there in silence, a bat soon flew into the room making them wonder what it was as it dropped off a note to the heiress. Rias took it up to read before she nodded softly.

"Well for now, we'll think about a punishment later. We have a rogue devil that needs to be taken care of." Rias informed the household.

"Huh? Rogue Devil? That can happen?" Cody questioned with surprise.

She nodded, "Rogue devils were initially underling devils until they betrayed their masters and struck out on their own. It's the law that all rogue devils must be destroyed if found."

The nephilim winced, "Wait a minute, you mean to tell me… that we're Devil Hunters?!" he gasped.

"In a technical sense, yes. But we're doing this so that the peace between the races can continue. Remember all of the stories, folklore and more throughout history where there's been incidents involving devils?" Rias pointed out to the boy.

"And worse, there's been one instance in history where a rogue devil made a contract with a human." Kiba noted with a scowl.

"Agreed." Rias nodded, "It's to make sure such casualties never continue so we can strive to make a better future for everyone. Otherwise we'd all be extinct at this point." Rias informed the young nephilim on the consequences of leaving such things.

"Welp, we better get going then…" Shadow groaned.

Rias nodded as everyone soon walked over to the transportation glyph, ready to travel to stop the rogue devil.

They soon arrived at a very dilapidated house, with some of it's windows broken. The Gremory heiress sighed.

"There have been rumors of a rogue devil hiding here, swallowing humans at night." Akeno recalled as Kiba, Koneko, and Cody prepared themselves for battle.

"Akeno, place an illusion barrier around here. Don't want wary eyes or ears to interfere." Rias commanded.

She nodded before creating a large field that masked the incoming battle ahead to the world.

The nephilim was curious, "So… what kind of Devil Piece am I exactly?" he asked Rias, "I remember you said you put a lot of pieces and Vistamps into me so I'm kind of curious."

"Ah right. Almost forgot." Rias got out as she turned to him, "You're a Pawn Piece."

"Well that's stupid… but at the same time explains why your powers work the way they do." Cody's demonic side groaned.

"So I'm just a disposable foot soldier?" Cody questioned with his head lowered and mood deflated.

"Kid, did you forget what Pawns also do in Chess?" Shadow chided him.

Cody thought through those words only for him to perk up and look at the heiress, "Wait… so I can basically become any piece?" He got out.

"That essentially is how your powers work." Rias noted before they entered a dark room, "Rogue Devil Vizor, we're here to destroy you!"

"Che… so instead of a Satan, I'm brought a brat and her groupies?" The devil's voice rang out with disgust, "Don't look down on me, Gremory! I want your brother, not you!"

Suddenly, a partial corpse of a human fell from the ceiling, scaring Cody briefly before he came face to face with the blood hungry… and very naked rogue devil.

"MY EYES! MY INNOCENT VIRGIN EYES!" Cody cried out in horror.

"Didn't you see that redhead nude already, dipshit? Your eyes are already far from innocent!" Shadow reminded him.

"YOU SHUT UP!" the embarrassed nephilim loudly shouted at his devilish side.

"Pathetic…" Koneko sighed.

"Hmm… I smell tons of powerful Vistamps from you… Maybe eating you last will do me some good?" Vizor said with a devious smile.

"Kiba, Koneko. Show this rogue what happens when they decide to listen to their desires." Rias ordered with a frown on her face.

"Very well." the blonde boy noted before he quickly snapped his fingers and summoned a large sword to his side.

"Woah! You can summon swords? That's so cool!" Cody gushed with delight from Kiba's power.

"Heh, to think I'd get praise for a simple ability?" Kiba chuckled lightly from his classmate's awe.

"Kid, I think it's time to take out your gun." the demonic side reminded him.

"Hold on… I want to check something." Cody said as he walked over to the corpse.

He then knelt down and closed the corpse's eyes before his own eyes closed. He wanted to know who this person was and what brought them to their end as in seconds both an angel and devil wing sprung out with a faint glow.

This display in power surprised the rogue devil.

Memories began to pour into the young Nephilim, memories of the human that died as he noticed it was a simple father who was doing his best for his daughter. Working hard but still having time to raise his child, of who was his pride and joy.

"Gregory Tristain…" he noted, "May God have mercy on your soul."

"Huh?" Vizor questioned. "Heh, something like you mourning over a piece of meat? How pathetic of you!"

She then began to change as her lower half started to become centaur-like, with large bear-like front paws while her face revealed a set of piranha-like teeth, and pointed ears.

"No…. You deserve so much more than a simple death…" the nephilim snarled coldly as the room soon started to become much colder, with frost even forming on the glass nearby.

"T-the fuck?!" Vizor gasped.

"I'm about to show you…. What happens when you make me… Angry…" The Nephilim said as his voice changed, green static charging around him as he gained a dark green strand on his hair.

"Shadow?" Rias asked.

The nephilim's face soon morphed into a wicked grin, "You rang?" the demonic side spoke out.

"Seems the other half of me wanted to play." Cody observed from within his mind.

"Bought time you gave me a shot. I was itching for a good fight this time." Shadow chuckled, "Well… let's see how this goes?" the demonic side said as he took out the TwoSiDriver and placed it on his waist as he held up his Vistamp before pressing it.

BAT!

CONFIRMED!

As he stamped it on the driver, several black bats flew out of his shadow and around the boy, startling the rogue devil as it tried to swat them away. He soon placed the stamp into the slot as the bats then began to fly above his head, forming a black, empty Vistamp made from the bats.

EENIE, MEENIE, MINEY, MOE! EENIE, MEENIE, MINEY, MOE! EENIE, MEENIE, MINEY, MOE!

Shadow held his hands up as he had them crossed in front of him only to simply flick and move on hand upward.

"Henshin." He called out before gripping the TwoSiDriver and unsheathed it, soon extending the blade side with his hand forward he pulled the trigger on it.

VERSUS UP!

MADNESS! HOPELESS! DARKNESS!

BAT!

HEHA! KAMEN RIDER EVIL! YEEEAAHH~!

As the bats above him reacted, they soon slammed down, literally 'eating' him before they spun into the Vistamp as neon green ink filled it before Shadow slashed through it, breaking the stamp and forming his armor.

While the undersuit was still gray with green lines, the armor was black and silver with a splashed painted look to it, while a yellow bat was on the side of his chest including a sipped up side on the other side of the chest. His helmet looked like a bat, curled up from its wings as the 'visor-esc eyes' also looked pain splashed on it as the green paint on the visor glowed.

"Call me… Kamen Rider Evil…" Shadow declared with a smirk, christening himself as Evil as he made a teasing gesture to the rogue demon, "Come, come small fry. Time to die…."

Vizor snarled before she charged at him and Kiba, the former ready to defend but Shadow simply walked forward as he easily caught the rogue devil's bear limb, shocking them.

"This one is mine… You all back off." Evil said to the group before turning to the rogue devil, "And this is all you got? I'm more disappointed with you than that Devil Hunter. If this is your strongest by feeding off humans? Then they're not worthy to be eaten." He scolded the enemy before literally tearing off the limb he held up.

"We have to work together sadly." the sword devil reminded the dark bat Rider.

"Then just don't get in my way…." Evil spat with annoyance.

With that, the two got to work cutting down the rogue devil. Kiba was swiftly doing his best to cripple the devil with his slashes and parries, changing from his normal sword to an elemental one as it launched out ice shards to attack and slowly free the rogue devil. Shadow on the other hand was using his strength to power through and destroy the devil instead, even in the Pawn state, his strength was formidable.

The rogue devil was covered with cuts and ice burns as the devil was stumbling to even stand. Koneko took this opportunity as she picked up a large piece of rubble and tossed it at the devil's head, turning it into paste as it dropped to the ground.

"HEY!" Shadow hissed, turning to Koneko as he marched forward to her, "That was my kill… you little run-"

*DING DING DING!*

In a moment, Shadow fell to the ground with his legs crossed while Koneko stood over him. The cat demon then raised her fist.

"Do you want to keep complaining?" She warned him.

"Heh, I should've warned you Shadow… Please don't antagonize Koneko. She is my Rook for a reason." Rias giggled at the scene, knowing that everyone will get along well in time.

Shadow whimpered for a moment, only for a soft glow to cover him as Cody soon came back only to gasp and groan in pain as well.

"S-Shadow… you chicken…. Why leave me with this pain!?" He groaned out.

"Serves him right." Koneko snarled before she walked away.

"Why… me…?" Cody whimpered out in pain as Akeno giggled before she used a small healing spell just to numb the pain, "T-Thank you Akeno-senpai…"

"Now, before the body is fully destroyed, it might be best to stamp it and collect the demonic energy to make a new Vistamp for you." Rias informed as she tossed him an empty Vistamp to use.

"O-Okay…" Cody grunted out as he finally stood up to walk over as he stamped the devil's corpse.

As the body finally was erased, the blank Vistamp took the energy as it began to change and form. It was now filled with magenta ink while a green shark-like beast formed on it, completing the Vistamp. Before they left, Demons had seen the whole thing and groaned loudly!

"AAAHHH, I KNEW WE SHOULDN'T HAVE STAKED OUT THAT NUN GIRL!" He roared, "Now the kid beat us to the target!"

"Calm down, you'll make us be heard." Vail sighed.

"Fine…" the Devil Hunter growled before he got back to the ground and demorphed, "Great, now we ain't getting paid, and the monthly rent's coming up soon. How are we going to get the money now?"

"We may have to hasten then to get that girl's Sacred Gear…. I believe you should reach out to that priest and offer your services…"

"And you forget the church wants me dead? Because of who I am?"

"He isn't part of the church…."

Tyson did a double take, "Excuse me?"

"I was looking into this priest… He hasn't been part of the church since he was a child…" the demon explained as the pair walked towards the church where the nun was, "It also means that he won't snitch about us to the church."

The devil hunter pondered over this idea, "So we offer our services and when they extract the Sacred Gear we take it from them instead?"

"Indeed."

"Ugh, I'm gonna regret this, I just know it." The devil hunter groaned before he arrived at his destination.

After some time, the boy gathered himself and knocked on the door. He then stepped back as the church door opened. Due to the lack of electricity in the building, all Tyson could see was just darkness.

"What do you want?" a male voice snarled.

"I'm here to Cash In." Tyson said, 'Regrettably.'

He soon heard the male voice laugh, "Ha! You, a Devil Hunter? Asking for a job from a priest?"

"Look, do you want my help or not?" the boy growled.

"Hehe... then come on in? Devil Hunter..." the male voice chuckled.

After rolling his eye, he decided to enter the church...

As the next day came through, Cody's punishment was to work with Rias's familiar for Contract Fliers. Something he was more shocked about that Rias's familiar, the bat, can transform into a cosplayer.

It was more difficult for him as most people were flocking over to the familiar than him. Then again, it beats getting a spanking.

"May I have one?"

Cody took notice of that voice as he turned to see Asia again, making him smile as he nodded and gave one to her, "It's great seeing you again, Asia."

"Same to you as well, Cody." Asia said with a brightful smile.

"Yo!" Another familiar voice called out, one that made his skin crawl.

"Ah, you!" Cody pointed to the other voice as he recognized him as that Tyson fellow.

"Long time no see." He greeted the nephilim.

"What are you doing out here?" Cody questioned him.

"Just passing by is all." The boy said before placing his hands in his pockets.

"Well, would you like one of these fliers? It's uh… for my school's club." Cody said, putting on the act that he was told by Rias.

"Eh, sure." He noted before taking a flier, stuffing it into his pocket afterwards.

"So Asia! Hope your current stay is enjoyable and you've been getting around better?" Cody asked the girl, a smile on his face as he returned his attention to her over Tyson, making the other boy's brow flinch from being ignored.

"It is, and I've been enjoying my time in the city so far." she said with a smile

Cody felt happy that she was enjoying her new life here as he hoped he could spend more time with her too.

"Asia, we should get going." Tyson called out to her as he looked at the time.

"Is it already late?" she asked him.

The boy shrugged, "Sadly so. I'm on the clock here."

"Wait… Tyson is with you?" Cody looked at them both, "Is.. he your-?"

"Ah! N-No of course not!" Asia shook her head, blushing, "He's just my guardian, so to speak."

Cody looked to Tyson for clarification. "Gotta find work where I can find it. Rent's steep 'round here." the boy said with a shrug.

"It was nice seeing you again, Cody." Asia smiled as she waved goodbye to the young nephilim before he waved back to her.

As the two walked away, Shadow leered at Tyson and Cody could feel lit.

"What's wrong this time, Shadow?" Cody whispered to his other half.

"Something's off with that guy. I didn't notice it before, but that guys' got killing intent."

"Well he did say he needed some kind of job. He must be on edge." Cody shrugged, trying to think of some way to justify Tyson, "Besides, I'm sure he's just an okay guy."

"I hope you're right… Something just feels off… Call it my demonic senses, knowing a bad omen."

As Shadow said that, Cody noticed something… ominous in the sky. While normal people couldn't notice it, he did… It looked like the clouds were forming into a black feather, one that he was warned about for when Fallen Angels were meant to gather. Sadly, he couldn't tell where it was or where it implied to meet at

Meanwhile, Tyson and Asia were heading back to the church when Vail sensed something.

"Tyson, get down!" he shouted.

As soon as he heard that, the devil hunter dodged an incoming blast meant for him and the nun before taking out a silver knife and brandishing it at his attacker.

"Alright, whoever you are? I know you're there." he snarled, "Let's make it easier for both of us and show yourself."

Soon appearing before them was none other than Raynare, alongside several fallen angels and other cloaked people.

"Well, hello there again, Devil Hunter Demons." Raynare grinned.

"You again…" he snarled, reaching into his jacket for the Demons Driver, but the fallen angel spotted that and quickly sent out another spear to try and skewer him.

In a flash, Tyson dodged the spear before throwing the silver knife, alongside several copies of the knife. Many of the Fallen Angels dodge as they swarm the Devil Hunter, as they attempt to make sure he doesn't change.

Yet before Tyson could do anything, he felt himself being shocked from behind, causing him to howl in pain before dropping to the ground. In his weakened state he turns to see Asia holding the stun baton, heavily modified now but the girl looked shocked to even use it.

"W-Why do… I have this…?" Asia got out as the group heard a loud cackle.

"Why because of my Vistamp!" Stepping out of the shadows was what looked to be a priest, in his gray and white clothing but with dirty blonde hair that was chin length, green eyes and holding up a Vistamp that didn't have an animal on it, but a flower.

"F-Freed?! The fuck you doing here?" he snarled.

"Well, as you'd say, 'To Cash In'." He snickered, "You see, I made a good deal with these Fallen Angels."

The devil hunter snarled in anger, "You snake! You sold me out!"

"I did. Why else would I even think of helping someone of that oaf's bloodline?" Freed frowned, "You think any of us priests enjoyed seeing that son of a bitch Dante Allegiri creating the Devil Hunters?! We were almost out of business because of that bastard! So upon knowing that you were the last descendant of that bastard, of course I'd leap in to dispose of that bloodline."

Vail could feel the anger of his partner as Freed slowly walked up to Tyson and took the Demons Driver from him.

"Not to mention, one of the most vile and hated devils out there, laying inside this little thing? That smells like a bonus to me. Right, Vail?" Freed snickered.

"Tsk, I thought I did a good job in playing dead if you priests took centuries to catch on." Vail snarled.

"Oh, nobody in the church believed that lie of yours. Heck, why else do you think the Excalibur Project was made to begin with?" Freed then smirked, "We were just making the perfect weapon to slay you, the vanguard of demons himself and the monster all monsters fear."

Asia was left in horror, Freed was planning all this?

"B-But you took Mister Tyson in, and me too! Why would you do this?" Asia asked with a saddened look on her face.

"Because I just LOVE chaos!" Freed cackled out before glaring at the nun, "Question is… why are you rethinking this, little Asia? I thought when you came to me, you'd be okay with everything I do?"

"I-I just wanted a home… A new place to live without fear and hate…" Asia said softly, gripping her cross necklace, "But… if this is your true self… I don't want any part of it…"

The young nun shook her head as she looked to Tyson and was about to rush to help him, only for Freed to smack her to the ground.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Seems I'm going to have to show you a proper punishment… You'll be joining me on a little mission I found out on…" Freed wiggled his finger with disappointment before he gripped Asia's hair and began to walk off with her, "Have fun with the ritual, Raynare! Make sure to record it so I can watch his screams of anguish later!"

"You son of a bitch! You'll pay for this!" Tyson roared as Raynere smirked at the man who almost killed her.

"Have fun~, Tyson Allegiri!" Freed laughed while the Fallen Angels dragged the Devil Hunter away.

SONG: Tsumi to Batsu to Angura - Mitsuru Matsuoka

/PRELUDE/

As a snazzy jazz number starts, it soon jumps to Cody and Rias appearing side-by-side. The two of them jump in sync as they begin to dance together to the beat. With a smirk, Cody grabbed a nearby mic and spun it for a moment.

/Omae no tsumi o kazoero

Uso-mamire no live a lie

Nisemono ni narisagaru/

The boy soon began to sing as he and Rias continued to dance an almost flamenco style. As Cody held her close and danced together as the redhead cupped his cheek, almost ready to pull him into a kiss.

/Ochitatenshi suiseimushi parareru no machi/

As the two separated, it soon showcased a bit of the ORC as the rest of the club were doing their own thing. Koneko glancing for a moment at the mirror as Shadow appeared for a second as she returned to her chocolate, as Kiba was polishing his sword, and finally Akeno serving some tea to Asia.

/Tsumitobachi o hakari ni

Dore hodo no omo-sa ga chigau?/

It soon jumps to Tyson, wandering through the streets alone with a pair of headphones on, walking by the various supernatural beings in the city. As he walks by various mirrors, Vail is menacing him at every turn.

/You want true love, You want true love,

You want true love, You never/

It soon jumps back to Cody and Rias as they continue to dance, but as Cody walked past several mirrors, he was briefly replaced by Shadow, and then by Issei before he returned to normal.

/You and me, You and me/

It then goes to Asia, praying with tears running down her face. Kiba holding up his sword as the memories of the other experimental children appear next to him. Alongside that was Akeno trying to hide her true self as a thunder crack changes to Koneko walking away from her sister.

/Oh my fair lady is the underground

Itami o kakusu kamen You don't know me/

Afterwards, it soon transitions into a montage of Cody and Rias meeting with the ORC, helping the Pervert Quartet escape punishment, and finally on the rooftops with the view of the city around them as the two of them soon held their hands together.

/My fair lady is the underground

(Shabada) Anbaransu de iki teru/

It soon transitions to the park fountain where Cody and Tyson are on opposite sides, each one examining their respective Vistamps.

/It's ANGURA/

As the ending comes to a close, we see Cody and Rias dancing once more before the former dips the latter with a pledged bow. It then simply shows the Bat and Spider Vistamps, with the devil contract and angel feathers laying next to them, as the ending finishes.

AUTHOR's NOTE:

HackerEX: Boy… that escalated quickly…

Striberx: We got lots of things coming up, huh? As well as things that need to be explained.

HackerEX: Starting of course with Tyson's true name. Full disclosure, you can blame me working with Psyga om Cinders and Ashes and the CrossGen dulogy for giving me the idea for the usage of Dante's Inferno. Given the Hero Faction is made up of various descendants of historical figures, I thought that I'd foreshadow that by having Dante Allegiri the founder of the Devil Hunters, and the one who first made his contract with Vail.

Striberx: Not to mention this also hints to another thing as well but that'll be saved for way later. We got Asia and Evil debutting here! :D And of course it'd be a different reaction than Issei was. Cause Asia is one of my fav girls of DxD. She's just a sweet girl who had a tough life before finally being accepted into a proper home and loved ones. So yeah, Cody will be love struck at first glance.

HackerEX: As for Evil, we felt like the first rogue devil fight was a good fit to debut the guy

Striberx: Not to mention, something that I thought be an interesting idea. Nephilim being able to see the memories of those who passed. Felt like it'd give a Nephilim more depth than just being half angel and half devil. Their will be more abilities and powers that this Nephilim version and idea we have over the others, but nothing too crazy of course. Can't just Deus Ex Machina over everything ya know?

HackerEX: Also, bonus points on who can spot the little easter egg to one of my stories in this fic. You get a free cookie if you do. But yeah, next time Cody confronts Freed while Tyson has to try and find a way to escape his current predicament!

Until next time, see ya!
