Chapter 6: Fairy Tail

PLANET: EARTHLAND

CITY: MAGNOLIA

Team Natsu, after getting a change of clothes and some food, began to retell their account of the events back on the Prison Planet. Their fellow guildmates had gathered around and were shocked to hear of the trials and opponents the team had faced.

"By gathering seven magical orbs, a wish granting dragon appears. Such a creature could exist?" Freed muttered.

"If I hadn't seen it with my own eyes, I wouldn't have believed it." Gray said. The ice mage then grunted from the pain in his arm, looking over he saw Juvia squeezing the life out of it. "Juvia, can you let up!?"

"Juvia can't help herself, darling! Her darling Gray was almost lost in some unknown space without her knowledge!" Juvia cried. "Juvia will never leave your side again! She'll eat, sleep, and bathe with you!"

"You don't need to do that last one!"

Pantherlily turned to Carla and Wendy. "I'm glad to see you guys managed to survive such an experience. Though I wish that I could've been there to help you all."

"I appreciate the feelings, but trust me, be happy that you weren't there." Carla responded.

Wendy nodded her head in agreement. "I don't think I ever want to see Cumber again. Just the bloodlust in his eyes had me terrified." The small dragon shivered from the memory. "Besides, not all of us returned safely." Eyes turned to Lucy and Happy, who were being comforted by Lisanna and Levy.

The Celestial mage held the small cat in her arms to comfort herself. Happy's eyes flopped down as he thought about his missing partner. "Natsu…"

Levy rubbed circles on Lucy's back. "It'll be fine, Lucy-"

"It's not fine!" Lucy cried. "We were all supposed to be brought back here together from the wish! Why is Natsu the only one who isn't here!?"

Happy held back his tears. "Did I screw up? Is this my fault?"

Lisanna shook her head. "No, Happy, you did exactly as you were supposed to, right?" She watched the cat nod his head. "Then, there's no way this is your fault."

"Something had to have happened before the wish was made. If the wish was going to take everyone on the Prison Planet back home, then by all means Natsu should be here too." Levy said.

Gray agreed with Levy's theory. "The only other person who could possibly know is Trunks, since he was fighting Cooler with Natsu. But…"

"We have no way of finding him or the others." Carla sighed.

Wendy had a bad feeling in her gut. "What if Fu comes back to try something again? I doubt he liked having his experiment ruined by us."

Gajeel cracked his knuckles. "Then we kick his ass and make him spill where Salamander is. Simple as that."

"Exactly! No one gets away with hurting Fairy Tail!" Bickslow laughed. His babies were floating around him. "No one! No one!" His babies chanted.

Laxus kicked his feet onto a table. "And I wouldn't worry so much about Natsu. That idiot is too stubborn to let anything get in his way."

"I agree with Laxus." Freed said.

"A real man like Natsu will find his way back to us no matter what! MAN!" Elfman shouted at the top of his lungs.

"Will you quiet down!? We don't need you yelling so loudly at a time like this!" Evergreen's scorn made the Strauss male shiver in fear.

Lucy wiped a stray tear from her eyes, appreciating the support and words of her guildmates. They were right that there wasn't much that could keep Natsu down. It still couldn't stop her from worrying about what could've happened to him.

Cana put down her mug of beer, looking over at Warren. "What are you looking at?" She noticed that he was staring intently at a lacrama.

"I'm trying to keep an eye out for any weird magic signatures. If that Fu guy tries to come back, then maybe I can find him before he finds us." Warren explained.

"Pretty smart." Cana shrugged. "Find anything?"

"Not yet but-Ah! I just found something! Like, four somethings!" Warren's shout grabbed everyone's attention. "Four strange signatures just showed up on the radar and they're right outside the guild!"

"Could it be Fu!?" Wendy gasped. The Fairies all stood ready to face whoever it was approaching the door to the guild.

"Is this the right place?"

"The sign does say Fairy Tail."

"But would they really just make it so obvious?"

"How about you just open the damn door and find out!?"

"Hohohoho! It would do no good to scare them away with that attitude, Vegeta!"

Team Natsu all gasped at the familiarity of those voices. "Wait! That's not Fu, it's…!" Lucy exclaimed just as the doors were pushed open. Standing in the entryway were three familiar individuals and one really weird looking guy. "Trunks!"

"Hey, it's nice to see you guys again." Trunks smiled at Team Natsu.

"Was there something you wanted to speak about privately, Erza?" Makarov asked as he, Erza, and Mira were in the medical wing of the guild.

"Yes, Master. It's about something that happened on the Prison Planet." Erza said.

"Other than what we already know?" Mira asked.

"Yes, when we first encountered that Evil Saiyan Cumber his energy-no his KI-had infected me…" Erza explained.

"Infected you?"

"I don't remember what had happened to me during that time, but the others fought and rescued me from its control. But it's only what happened afterwards that concerns me." Erza said. The two in front of her looked concerned. "My magic has felt off since Cumber's KI had infected my body. During our battles I was unable to properly utilize my abilities to their fullest. Trunks made a mention to something when he searched through my energy. That was how I became aware that something was off with me." Erza explained.

Makarov hummed, sensing out Erza's magic. He did feel something weird with it as if there was a separate source of power coming from her. "Erza, try using your magic."

"Right. Requip!" She changed to her Clear Heart Clothing. Makarov stared at her, making the two women nervous about what he could be feeling from Erza.

"Yes…"

"What is it, Master?" Mira asked, concerned.

"You have gotten bigger, Erza." Makarov said, clearly talking about her bust. Both women fell over comically, the tension in the room died in an instant.

BONK!

Mira bopped the old man on the head, both she and Erza were glaring down at him. "Master, that's highly inappropriate!"

"Now isn't the time for that!" Erza yelled.

Makarov grumbled, nursing the large bump on his head. "Can't you take a joke!? You two were getting too stressed up!"

Mira put her hands on her hips. "It's not nice to make comments about a woman's chest, Master! Regardless of if it's a joke or not!" She scolded him as if he were a child. Makarov just grumbled, turning his head away like a pouting child.

Erza just shook her head, smiling softly. "So, did you find anything, Master?"

Makarov decided to get serious again. "I did, but it's nothing that is hurting you. Though, I'm not sure what the energy could be." His answer didn't completely satisfy Erza, but if it wasn't dangerous then she could take it. Now the only thing left to take care of was finding Na-

"Trunks!"

"Trunks?" Erza gasped. She changed back to her regular attire and rushed out of the medical wing with Mira and Makarov. The three found their guildmates standing in front of the new arrivals of the guild. "Trunks!"

The hybrid looked up and noticed her. "Ah! Erza!"

"And there's Mai too!" Wendy ran up to the woman. "It's so nice to see you again!"

"It's nice to see you again too, Wendy." Mai smiled down at her. The young dragon then looked over at Vegeta, who was doing his best to glare off at a corner.

"Hi, Mr. Vegeta!"

"Hn."

"It wouldn't kill you to show some manners." Carla glared at him.

"Tch." Vegeta grunted, growling slightly. Carla was already reminding him of Chi-Chi from the short interactions he's had with her. "We don't have time for this."

"Huh? What do you mean?" Wendy tilted her head.

Gray noticed something else as well. "Hey, wait, where's Goku? Why isn't he with you guys?" That's when Trunks, Mai, and Vegeta tensed up slightly.

"He… didn't make it off of Prison Planet. We don't know where he is." Trunks answered. When the Demi-Saiyan had looked around the guild he had noticed the lack of pink hair, dashing some of his other hopes.

Team Natsu looked upset at the revelation. "Just like Natsu. He also didn't return from Prison Planet. Do you know what happened, Trunks?" Lucy asked.

Trunks nodded his head, beginning his tale. "When Natsu and I were chasing after Cooler to stop him from getting his wish, something happened. This weird black portal opened up, shooting out these white beams of light that caught me by surprise and the guy who stepped out of it…. Natsu said his name was Rogue."

"ROGUE!?" All of the Fairies were shocked to hear that the Shadow Dragon Slayer appeared on the Prison Planet.

"You know him?" Mai asked.

Wendy nodded her head. "He's one of the ten Dragon Slayers on Earthland. I'm the Sky."

"I'm Iron." Gajeel spoke up.

"Lightning." Laxus said.

"And Natsu's fire." Trunks understood it. "So, this Rogue is light and shadows?"

THAT tidbit of information had gained an even bigger reaction from the Fairies. "N-no… Rogue can only use Shadows… he shouldn't be able to use light unless…" Carla trailed off.

"B-but that's impossible… that Rogue is…" Wendy gasped.

"The Rogue from the future. But he shouldn't be here anymore. That future was stopped when the Eclipse Gate was destroyed. He changed after losing to Natsu." Lucy said.

"That's not how time works."

Everyone turned to see the weird guy eating a slice of cake at the bar. "Oh yum~! This cake is simply delicious!"

"Thank you!" Mira smiled, having been the one who gave it to him.

"What do you mean that's not how time works?" Levy asked.

"From what you said, the Rogue you fought was sent back to his own time. It's likely that the Rogue who took your friend Natsu is from a different timeline altogether, and he still wishes harm upon you all." The man explained.

"Uh? Who are you?" Gray asked.

"Oh, just call me Whis." Whis smiled.

"So, a different Rogue kidnaped Natsu?" Happy asked.

Trunks clenched his fists, feeling ashamed. "I'm sorry that I couldn't stop it. I should've been able to stop him from taking Natsu before we were all taken from the Prison Planet." When he felt a hand on his shoulder, Trunks looked up to see Lucy smiling at him.

"Don't beat yourself up over it, Trunks. I don't blame you; nobody here blames you, and I know Natsu wouldn't either. It honestly relieves me to know that he's still alive and knowing Natsu he's definitely causing an untold amount of destruction wherever he is." Lucy said.

"Speaking of destruction." Whis stood up from the bar. "There's another reason why we appeared here."

"And what would that be?" Makarov asked.

"We would like to enlist the help of Fairy Tail for this matter or in this matter you can view it as a job request." Whis said.

Makarov smiled. "Whatever the job or problem is, Fairy Tail is always willing to lend a hand to those we consider friends. Isn't that right, kids!?"

"YEAH!"

"Good, because the ones attacking a 'friend' of ours matches the insignia of Rogue's meaning…"

"That if we help you, then we can also find Natsu!" Happy exclaimed.

Erza walked up to Trunks. "Then, Team Natsu will take this job if that's alright with you." She held out her hand.

Trunks took it, returning the handshake. "It's all good to me. But… is Natsu really the leader of your team?"

"Like hell he is!" Gray exclaimed.

Mira turned to Whis. "If we're going to take this as a proper job request then you'll have to explain the details of it to us."

"Very well as long as I can get another piece of that cake you made." Whis said.

"Sure!"

Lucy clutched her keys, taking a deep breath. "Just hang tight, Natsu. We're on our way."

A FEW HOURS AGO

PLANET: CORE AREA

Floating between the broken worlds of the used to be Prison Planet was a singular world. It was encased in a glass structure to protect from unwanted invaders. This world was inhabited by a certain group of warriors, where their plans were moments away from beginning.

"Retrieval of Cumber: Complete." A young female said. She is short in stature and has a very slender build. Her hair and skin were bleach white. Her eyes are blue, and her outfit is a red jacket and a black jumpsuit with golden stripes on her waist and two moon shapes in the middle on her chest and belly button area inside a blue vertical line, and grey armbands and leg bands. This was Kamin.

"Breaking out on his own, just to lose and get dragged back here… it's pretty pathetic, huh? Maybe we should just kill him."

"Now there's an idea, sis! We don't need weaklings here." Her brother agreed. He is a short young teen with a slim build. His hair and skin are just like his sister's. His eyes are blue, and his outfit is a blue jacket and a black jumpsuit with golden stripes on his waist and two moon shapes in the middle on his chest and belly button area inside a blue vertical line, and grey armbands and leg bands. This was Oren.

"Uhahahahahaha! I'd be more than happy to roast his body like a pig for dinner!" The blonde maniac declared. He has long spiky blond hair that reaches down to his lower back. He wears a yellow and black skirt-like armor with the sun insignia printed on the front. Half of his chest was exploded by his clothing as well as his right shoulder where a certain guild mark was located.

"Don't be so hasty, you three." Their leader said, stopping them from doing something stupid. "In the meantime, Lagss, can you restore him to normal?"

The woman Lagss nodded her head. "Understood." She has pale-blue skin and long pale turquoise hair secured by a grey and gold hair-tie in the style of two ponytails. She wears a blue top with a turquoise collar with gold trimmings, with matching gold trims on the side below her breasts and by her waist, which narrowly exposes the sides of her breasts. She also has unattached sleeves with the same gold trimmings as the others.

The leader looked down at cumber, who was frozen in a case of glass. "I heard Cumber trying to make his escape. I thought perhaps if he ran wild, it would gather useful energy for the Universe Seed. Indeed, Cumber did very well. Even gathering just this much provides us with a wonderful start."

Lagss started at her leader. "But you must have known how strong his opponents would be."

"Of course, especially since one of them was brought to us." Their eyes trailed to the other glass prisoner in their mists and Future Rogue standing next to it. "Lagss, if you would."

"Yes, Lord Hearts." She raised her hand, eliciting her powers to free Natsu's head from the ice.

"ROGUE, YOU BASTARD I'M GONNA KICK YOUR ASS!" Natsu didn't waste a moment in announcing his rage.

"He's still so loud." Another woman said, groaning at the pain in her ears. She had green skin and light green eyes with bright orange hair that went down to her lower back. She wore a dark green shirt with a white jacket over it that had a similar sun insignia design. Her lower area was covered by a green skirt with black leggings underneath and black boots.

Natsu calmed down at bit and observed his surroundings. "Where the hell am I!? Who are all of you!?"

"Welcome, Natsu Dragneel. We are the Core Area Warriors." Hearts introduced them. "And I heard that you're already acquainted with Rogue and Zancrow, here."

"Acquainted?" Natsu blinked.

"He means we know each other."

"Ah."

"He's an idiot, huh?" Oren laughed.

"Uhahahaha! Still a dumbass, you stupid dragon!" Zancrow laughed.

"Who the hell are you calling a dumbass, you scarecrow bastard!"

"It's Zancrow, not scarecrow!"

"That's what I said!"

"Noisy mortals, perhaps I should kill you lot now." The last member said. Behind them all, he sat on a throne made of glass. The man had green skin and spiky white hair. He was dressed in a black and red Kaioshin clothing with white armor over the right side of his body. He also had an eyepatch over his right eye.

"That would be unnecessary, Mr. Former Kaioshin. You have your own plan, right?" Hearts looked at him.

"Of course, but it would be unnecessary to tell you, wouldn't it?"

"...No, I've already heard it." Hearts grinned. "All that's left is you joining us, Natsu Dragneel."

"Like, hell I'd join you! All I care about right now is why Rogue is here! I thought you went back to your time!" Natsu turned his head to the Rogue counterpart.

Future Rogue glared at Natsu. "The version of me you defeated back then was insufficient and too weak to accomplish our goals. I'll finish what he couldn't and kill Lucy Heartfilia."

Natsu's eyes widened. "What…?"

"To protect every future she must die and you're the perfect bait to draw her out." Future Rogue said.

Natsu's anger was beginning to skyrocket, his blood boiling. "LIKE HELL YOU-" Before he could finish Lagss had encased his head back in glass.

"Sorry, Lord Hearts, I shouldn't have antagonized him like that." Future Rogue apologized.

"Do not fret, it's a pity, but as you said, he'll make good bait. We need all the fuel we can get to power the Universe Seed after all. Now then, let our plan commence." Hearts declared.

PRESENT TIME

PLANET: SADALA

"GAAAHHH!" The Saiyan known as Cabba went flying into the mountain side. Blood dripped down his brow and his Super Saiyan form was lost, returning him to base. He struggled to get back onto his feet as his two 'comrades' slowly approached him. "Caulifla… Kale…!"

His two female Saiyan comrades grinned evilly at them. The two were being controlled in some way and were causing damage all over the planet. They charged at him to finish him off, but Trunks and Vegeta appeared in time, landing powerful blows against the two. White slime was blasted out of their bodies, freeing the girls from mind control.

Cabba gasped at the sight of them. "Master!?" He then saw a young girl with long blue hair and a white cat rush over to him. "Who are you...?"

"My name is Wendy and this is Carla! Just hold still, I'll heal you up!" Wendy began using her magic to heal Cabba's wounds.

Vegeta and Trunks glared at the bubbling liquid on the ground. "This may be another universe, but I won't overlook anyone who picks a fight with us Saiyans." Vegeta said.

Orin and Kamin reformed their bodies, surprising the Saiyans and Fairies. "So, you did still have allies." Orin said.

"And they look like they'll be more fun." Kamin grinned.

Vegeta and Trunks stanced up, prepared to face off the invaders as Wedny worked to heal the Universe 6 Saiyans.

Yeah, Natsu is currently in their clutches to fish out Fairy Tail. Goku is still with the Grand Priest and will be coming in when he's supposed to.

This Rogue is a different one, so he still wants to kill Lucy. His full reasons will be explained soon as to why he joined up with Hearts' gang.

Like I've already shown, Zangya and Zancrow are here. You can expect Zancrow to get an interesting fight soon, but I don't think I need to explain who it'll be that he fights.

Zamasu doesn't requrie any explanation. He's just here to kill all mortals.

I really like Lagss, so maybe I'll be doing more with her than the canon story does.
