Chapter 5 - Iori Yagami, King of Vampires
Streets of South Town
Elisabeth and Iori Yagami are seen walking in the cold and lonely streets of South Town towards the north.
"So just a few more meters isn't it?" - Elisabeth
"..." - Iori
"I'll take that as a yes." - Elisabeth
As they keep walking
"*Sigh*" - Elisabeth
"(Why did I killed her? That shouldn't had happened... I thought I had the situation under control but I loss it the moment I cut her legs off.)" - Elisabeth puts both of her hands on her face, feeling nothing but regret
"(But I was on the edge, if Kagura had got close enough for me and Yagami, just one second closer it would have been my end.)" - Elisabeth thinks of what could had happened if Chizuru had grabed her during her moment of hesitation, remembering what happened just some hours ago
Chizuru starts sweating hearing this as she rises her head looking at Elisabeth and Yagami as her eye twitches.
"(No! I can't tell you!)" - Chizuru
"(I sweared my loyalty to my lord!)" - Chizuru
In the moment, using her hands Chizuru impulses herself to jump against Elisabeth
"(And my mission is to spread the gospel!)" - Chizuru rises her hand now more close to Elisabeth
Elisabeth is unable to react as Kagura grabs on to her body biting her neck and sucking her blood in a quick moment
"(Argh!)" - Elisabeth sees herself being turned into a vampire by Kagura with her opening her eyes again
"(If I hadn't defended myself, I'm sure that would had happened. The adrenaline and fear of the moment led me to end her life... I shouldn't have done that.)" - Elisabeth
"(Is too late for regrets... I'm sorry, Chizuru. But I promise you that I won't let the legacy of your clan to fall in the hands of those creatures. I won't let it.)" - Says Elisabeth looking at the Mirror of Yata in her hand
"(Just who is this king of vampires and how does he manages to make his servants be so loyal for him?)" - Elisabeth
"Heheehehe, so Kagura is gone eh?" - Says a voice to Yagami who instantly recognizes who is as suddenly at his sides two female shadows appear
"Oh you should had seen her face when Blanctorche destroyed her. It was wonderful!" - Says Mature in a mocking tone
"Hehehehe, now who is going protect the seal of Orochi? Blanctorche? The ghost of Kagura's sister?" - Vice
"I think is fair to say that the clan Yata has finally been extinguised." - Mature
"How sad, isn't it Iori?" - Vice
"..." - Iori
"Oh don't be like that, what's wrong? Are you already missing her?" - Mature
"Hmph! Can you two disappear already!" - Iori
"This city looks like a mess, I like it!" - Ignoring Yagami's words Vice and Mature stare at the almost empty city of South Town
"So an invasion of Vampires, how quaint! Who could be the person behind this? Are you sure you're not the king of vampires, Iori?" - Mature
"No, Yagami is still a human. If he was a vampire he would had already torn Blanctorche to pieces." - Vice
Yagami looks at the pale moon as he continues walking, as he turns to his sides, he realizes Vice and Mature have disappeared again
"(That day...)" - Iori starts remembering something
"Grrr..." - Yagami is seen defeated on the ground after his last encounter with Kyo after the last KOF tournament
"(Defeated again! How? Why I can't surpass that bastard? How does he do it? How?)" - Iori
"(In the tournament, Kusanagi was defeated by that brat Shun'ei. How is possible that kid was able to beat him but I can't? I'm really not a challenge for him anymore? Have I become so predictable?)" - Thinks Iori
"(Could it be that I'm becoming-NO! I'm not getting old!)" - Yagami
Suddenly a shadow approaches the place where the defeated Yagami is with this female shadow standing some meters close to Yagami
"It seems that you had some fun, Iori." - Says the female shadow
"Grrr...Hmph! What do you want, Kagura? I thought you had already returned to sleep back to your mansion?" - Iori moves his head looking at Kagura standing with her arms behind her back looking at him
"Well, there's a good reason why I'm haven't returned home yet, Iori. But I doubt you would get it. In fact I actually never left." - Chizuru
"What are you doing, are you going to tell me that you saw this coming? That I should give up?" - Iori
"No, not all. But I don't think you should stay here for the rest of the day, unless of course, you want to stay there on the cold ground of defeat?" - Chizuru
"What's your deal?" - Iori
"I was wondering if you would like to come with me to certain place nearby, is a not so expensive restaurant." - Chizuru
"..." - Iori
"I have hear their beef is pretty juicy and tasty, you could use a break. Tell you something? I will pay!" - Chizuru crouches looking at Yagami with a kind smile
"Grrr... Hmph! But you will have to drive." - Says Yagami as Kagura offers her hand to help him get up
Yagami and Kagura are seen eating at the restaurant some minutes later
"You look concerned..." - Iori
"Well I would be lying if I say I'm not." - Chizuru
"Is because of them, isn't it?" - Iori
Kagura nods as she proceeds to drink
"The threat related to Verse and this Otoma=Raga might be over, but that doesn't mean the world is safe... Especially with these four still out there, Iori." - Chizuru
"Four? You mean." - Iori
"Yes, he is back too. You and Kyo might hadn't noticed it, but his presence was felt in the stadium, he watched the event closely... The man who killed my sister is back, this is terrible, what I am saying... THIS IS AWFUL!" - Chizuru
"I should be home right now, but I don't even feel safe there. The seal isn't even there anymore, but I just don't want to return yet... Especially not with them out there." - Confessed Chizuru looking at Yagami with a serious face, she felt like a small scared girl in this moment for her frustation
"..." - Yagami stared at Kagura's desperate and angry expression, clearly for her things had become complicated with the threats that had been brought back to live
"Listen, Iori... In normal circustances I wouldn't be saying this, but I really think you should stop this pointless vengeance, especially now that they are back." - Chizuru
"Hmph! Are you worried about Kusanagi?" - Iori
"Not exactly, I'm worried that they might use you for their plans. That day in 97, we only managed to seal Orochi back because of you, you rejected his will that time, Iori. That was your victory. But as time passes, I felt this darkness that surrounds your clan is consuming you more and more, I doubt you will be able to oppose the will of Orochi if they were to get their control over you." - Chizuru
"Tch, unlike you. I'm not afraid of those bastards." - Iori
"Your body would disagree with that statement, Iori. Even you must have thought about it... Tell me something, you know how old are you again?" - Chizuru
"Gr... Dont mention it!" - Iori becomes angry hearing this question
"Time hasn't been kind to us, admit it... You know those days that your father and all your other ancestors feared because of the pact are more closer than ever. Nobody is inmortal at the end of the day and we are getting too old for this." - Says Chizuru removing her headband and moving her hair for Yagami's surprise as he sees a lock of white hair that Kagura had covered from her hair with her headband
"Why don't you go to have this talk with Kusanagi instead and leave me alone!" - Iori
"Because Kyo is a kid with the body of an adult at this point, he doesn't want to listen to responsabilities or even cares, he isn't in his prime anymore but he still enjoys fighting thinking he is still in his early 20s. You get what I'm saying? He might be getting older but he will still live, you on the other hand, only a few more years and then it is over..." - Says Chizuru closing her eyes with a sad expression as she puts her headband back
"Aging is a natural process, in fact alot of the people who we know aren't escaping from this... Well except her." - Chizuru
"The idol..." - Iori realizes what Kagura was saying is truth, the rest of the fighters he has seem always coming to those tournaments are starting to look older, but there was certain someone who still looks as if she still had 20 for Yagami's anger and frustation
"I can't especulate, but I attribute that to her powers. Maybe she will outlive us all. But that's not the theme here." - Chizuru
"Iori, this is why I'm concerned, just look at the people that had been brought back to live, they look as if time hadn't moved for them, while us we will still aging but there will come a point where we won't be able to stop them, especially you if they were to awaken the riot of blood." - Chizuru
"What is your objective with this whole talk? You only invited me here to mock me and my fate?" - Iori
"..." - Chizuru
"No, I don't know about you, but I don't find any of this at all funny." - Chizuru
"And truth to be told, believe it or not. I wouldn't like you to die." - Chizuru
"Is because of your dumb fee-" - Iori
"Is because if you were to die, there wouldn't be anyone who would be able to hold the treasure of your clan, Iori." - Chizuru
"And I doubt you want your sister to be who will carry with this after you're done?" - Chizuru
"Don't bring her into this!" - Iori
"I would respect that decision if you were to die, but I also would considerate telling her the truth." - Chizuru
"Iori, you have no idea how much I would love to live in a world where time is static, but that's impossible." - Chizuru
"So let me get this, you want to me to drop this once and for all in order to not be a threat according to you?" - Iori
"Iori, you know damn well that you can't control this state. What I'm proposing on to you is to free you from this fate, you will keep your flames without needing to get rid of the sacred treasure of your clan." - Chizuru
"What?" - Iori
"Can that be done?" - Iori
"Is possible, you see I have been working in secret developing a seal that could contain the influence of Orochi in secret. But I have yet to fully test it on someone... Would you like to help me with this?" - Chizuru
Yagami stares silent for some moments. He doesn't answer
"(On one side, what Kagura said was truth as much as I hate to admit it, my body isn't what it used to be... I suspected this must had been the effects of the curse but what if this seal were to weakened me? Grrr... No! I must think it clearly.)" - Iori
"Just think about it, Iori. Before is too late, if you change your opinion, you know where to find me." - Chizuru continues drinking as she looks at the horizon with a concerned look
Yagami looks at his reflection from the mirror of the restaurant
"(Time is running out for me.)" - Iori
Yagami and Kagura come out of the restaurant an hour later, Yagami sees Kagura stumbling with some tables on the outside
"Damn it, Kagura! How much did you drinked?" - Iori
"M-Me? I-I didn't drinked toooo much, Iori. I know my-my limits *hip*." - Says Kagura lying
"Ýou better let me drive!" - Iori
"D-Don't worry, W-We are going to be fine! *Hip*" - Chizuru
"Give me that!" - Iori takes the keys of the bike from Kagura's hands
"Hahahahaha! Oh Iori, you're very funny! *hip* I have been driving for years and I-I only had like crashed five times in total. *Hip* I-Is almost as if you were concerned about me crashing out there." - Chizuru
"Is a surprise you haven't killed yourself already while driving." - Iori
"Alright, you want to drive, go ahead. *hip*" - Chizuru now with the alcohol to the top of her veins gets to the bike with Yagami as they both drive out of there
Morning - The next day
As the sun rises, Yagami is seem walking out of the mansion of Kagura
"(Kyo... Don't think this is over, I will have my revenge before this damn curse kills me.. Grr!)" - Iori
"(Kagura was afraid that day, she had this concern regarding these pests. Is no wonder why she saw becoming this vampire, this creature as a way to be reborn. Perhaps she was right, but I'm not letting myself be caught by this damn king of vampires. I'm not going to be another one of his minions!)" - Iori and Elisabeth finally arrive at the small building where the department of certain someone is
Elisabeth sees Yagami opening the door of the department as the place looks empty
"..." - Elisabeth sees the place being a small apartment with a main room and a turned off TV, a kitchen, a bathroom and a bedroom
"Yagami searches in every room, but there's nobody. He turns around watching a small piece of paper put on the fridge
Yagami starts reading the note
"Dear brother, if you were to read this. I know you called me some days ago regarding your visit to South Town, but the owner of the building and the authorities are forcing us to evacuate with the sudden appearition of these strange creatures. My phone's batery is running low and I don't know if we will be able to escape, we will move towards the central train station to get out of the city... If thinks go alright, I'll try to contact you, I promise! Be careful out there, brother. This situation is horrible and I would hate for something to happen to you, escape from the city!" - Says the note firmed by certain someone named Tsuki Yagami
"Tsuki." - Iori
"Do you think that they managed to escape?" - Elisabeth
"I'm not sure, the train station is very far. Anything could had happened." - Iori
"What?" - Elisabeth is surprised as a shadow descends from the cieling of the apartment kicking Iori sending him to the ground
"YAGAMI!" - Andy Bogard lands approaching Yagami with a face full of anger
"Bogard! What are you doing here?" - Iori recovers from the hit getting up
"Don't act with me! You know what you did and I'm here to exterminate you!" - Andy runs as he and Yagami start interchanging hits
"ARGH!" - Yagami recieves an strike by Andy but Yagami recovers hitting Andy with a kick
"You come for me? You damn worm!" - Iori strikes Andy back
"I'm going to avenge Terry! You damn demon!" - Andy strikes Iori with a kick to the stomach
"Andy! Wait!" - Elisabeth approaches as both Yagami and Andy back off
"Burn in hell, Yagami!" - Andy throws holy water at Yagami
For Andy's surprise, Yagami only covers his eyes with his hands as the water falls on him
"Grr!" - Iori looks back at Andy with a killer look
"What?" - Andy
"You're not a vampire?!" - Andy
"And neither are you for what I see." - Iori
"Is what I was trying to tell you." - Elisabeth
"But wait a moment, if you're not a vampire then who is the king of vampires?" - Andy
Ikari Warriors' base - South
"What's wrong, Mai?" - Athena
"I can't believe it, Athena. Andy just knew about Yagami's involvement in this and decided to go for him without saying anything to me or anyone else." - Says Mai in a angry tone
"Oh that happened?¨That Andy, he should had waited for Heidern's official orders but I can't blame him. Maybe if Yagami were to die, this would be over." - Athena
"But what if Yagami turns him into a vampire? I should had come with him!" - Mai
"Calm, Mai! Calm! Things are going to be fine, do not worry." - Says Athena grabing Mai's shoulder as they walk out of there
"I just hope Andy is alright." - Mai
Shun'ei is seem walking in the corridors of the base thinking about what happened with Terry when he sees Leona passing coming from the other side of the corridor
"Argh!" - Shun'ei grabs his head feeling an inmense pain for Leona's surprise
"Shun'ei! What's wrong?" - Leona approaches Shun'ei
"I don't know why but I feel this strange chi...This dark chi again!" - Shun'ei
"Is the base really safe, Leona?" - Asked Shun'ei
But for the surprise of both, Athena appears entering the corridor alongside Mai
"Is everything ok, guys?" - Athena
"Yes..." - Shun'ei is confused as he and Leona stare at Athena and Mai as they walk the corridor
"To be honest with you, I have been feeling this dark chi around the base too. I'll keep an eye on her..." - Leona
"Athena?! You think she is.." - Shun'ei
"Is just an intuition, but something tells me we have one of them hidden between ourselves." - Leona
"You look concerned, Kyo?" - Athena enters in the room where Kyo, Benimaru, Clemence, Meitenkun and Isla were
"Is nothing, Athena. Is just that *Sigh* I can't believe Terry is gone." - Kyo
"Life ends in a mere second Kyo, is awful. I know it, I'm also sad about what happened to him, but I'm sure Terry wouldn't like to see us losing hope, we can't give up yet, Kyo." - Athena
"We have to keep going, besides there's people still waiting for us back home... Like Yuki." - Says Athena putting her hand on Kyo's shoulder
"Yeah, you right on that, Athena. We can't give up just yet. Is just that everything happened so quick." - Kyo
"I know Kyo. Is a bit hard to process that South Town became infested by them in a matter of hours." - Athena
"(Oh Kyo! Just looking at your tasty neck makes me go nuts... You have no idea how much I would enjoy to suck you dry! I'm just licking my lips with anticipation. Once you feel as good as I feel, you won't have to worry about such banal things anymore.)" - Athena
"There you are! Commander Heidern requires all of you to come to sector 7!" - Says Seirah arriving to the room
"Sector 7? What is it?" - Kyo
"Is related to Yagami." - Says Seirah with a confident tone
"(And here we go, just in time for the next phase to start.)" - Athena
Meanwhile - Some hours later
"How is your cheek?" - Asks Elisabeth after having helped Andy with his wounds
"Its fine, he doesn't hit as hard as you think." - Andy
"Hmph!" - Iori
"So, you have a sister all this time? Alot of people thought you were the last Yagami alive." - Andy
"The only person to know about Tsuki's existence was Kagura. But unlike her who is now gone, you better not start spreading this information out there, Bogard! If you value your life!" - Iori
"Wait! Chizuru is dead?! Did you killed her?! I thought she and you?" - Andy
"You thought she and me what?" - Iori raises an eyebrown
"Well I heared some rumors between you two, still I can't believe she is just gone like my brother." - Says Andy looking down
"Yagami didn't killed Chizuru. It was me and is something I regret deeply." - Says Elisabeth looking down with a stare of regret
"So what was that about Killing the king of vampires? And how did you find about vampires?" - Elisabeth
"I meet that man White some days before the tournament started, when the strange attacks started happening, he tried to bite me." - Andy
"I captured him and we went to talking, he is a true nutjob, I couldn't tell what didn't know, what he was making up, and what was true." - Andy
"But it was clear that this went alot deepér than just that weirdo. So I started tracking anyone who could be suspicious, who only had been sighted in the night, alongside strange stories from talking with the people of the city before this mess happened." - Andy
"But all lead to the same theory, someone from the outside had to be the one who had brought this to South Town." - Andy
"So that's why you wanted to kill Yagami?" - Elisabeth
"You came here to murder me only for a hunch?" - Iori
"No. I... I have other sources." - Andy
"That I will not be sharing." - Andy
"Well sorry to disappoint you, but Yagami isn't a vampire, in fact having followed him for quite a while, I could tell you that he was very far from the zone where Terry's body was found. For what I see, it seems that your sources got it wrong." - Elisabeth
"But if you didn't do it, then who could had killed my brother?" - Andy
"Someone who wanted to create a distraction with a witch hunt probably... I don't rule this possibility but maybe we have a traitor working for the vampire king on our side. Of course that's just a theory but for the look of things, it could be a real one." - Elisabeth
"Huh!" - Suddenly the three feel a strange presence with the door of the place moving as Elisabeth, Andy and Yagami prepare to fight whoever had decided to enter
"Ms. Blanctorche, Iori, Andy. You're here." - Athena Asamiya enters rising up her arms
"Athena?" - Elisabeth
"Yes, it is me. We need to talk." - Athena
"Athena, thank god." - Andy
"We have some horrible news that you need to-" - Andy
"Why did you come here, girl?" - Iori
"I know what happened to Terry, isn't your fault." - Athena
"You're sick." - Athena
"Athena no. It wasn't him." - Andy
"She knows!" - Iori quickly pulls out something from his pocket as he tosses three stakes at Athena
"Grr." - Iori sees the three stakes being grabbed in mid air by not other than Ryo
"You dropped this, Yagami." - Ryo
"Andy, Elisabeth. You two haven't realized but Yagami already pulled a mind trick on you two using his vampire powers." - Athena overcharges her fists with her psycho power preparing to fight
"What is going on?" - Andy and Elisabeth dodge a psycho ball directed at them
"Is Asamiya! She is one of them!" - Iori
"Damn it! How did that happened to you, Athena?" - Elisabeth
"Is none of your business!" - Athena
As Elisabeth tries to repell Athena with her powers suddenly
"Wait a moment, I detect more chis closely! Could it be!" - Elisabeth
*Crack* - The wall of the building is destroyed with Kyo, Benimaru, Kim, Master Chin, Lin, Oswald, Daimon, King of Dinosaurs, Bandeiras, Isla, Shun'ei, Meitenkun and Krohnen entering staring with serious eyes at Yagami
"Yagami." - Kyo
"Kyo." - Iori
"Everyone remain calm!" - Says Kyo as Athena and Ryo reagroup with him and the rest
"Are you here for us or for them?" - Says Iori as Elisabeth and Andy stand by his side
"Stop this before things get out of control, Yagami! You need to come with us!" - Kyo
"Don't tell me you believe in that crap that I'm the one who is behind this? Are you blind, Kusanagi? Whoever told you this wants to deviate the attention from the real responsable." - Iori
"Don't listen to him, Kyo! He is the one who killed Terry, he probably brainwashed Elisabeth and Andy into believing him." - Athena
"Don't make this harder than it already is, Yagami." - Benimaru
"But you guys have to understand." - Elisabeth
"What we have to understand, Elisabeth? How are we sure you're not a vampire either?" - Shun'ei
"Blanctorche. Bogard." - Iori
"Its time!" - Iori throws a pillar of flames forcing Kyo and the rest to move backwards as a fight breaks out in the department
"Don't let him escape!" - Athena charges against Iori only to be hit by Andy.
Andy prepares as he sees the angry Athena, Isla and Krohnen charging against him
"What's the plan here, Yagami?" - Says Andy dodging the attacks directed towards here
"Just keep defending yourselves." - Iori defends himself from Kyo, Shun'ei and Benimaru
"What a great plan, Yagami." - Elisabeth
"Guys listen, we aren't vampires!" - Elisabeth defends herself against Meitenkun, Daimon, Kim and King of Dinosaurs
"How do we know that Yagami didn't turned you into one and what were you doing with him?" - King of Dinosaurs
"Listen up! We aren't arg!" - Elisabeth is hit by a Ko-ou Ken throwed by Ryo
"Don't listen to her, she is siding with Yagami, clearly she is protecting her king of Vampires!" - Ryo
"Argh! This is useless!" - Elisabeth
"Deep down you know what you did to Terry was wrong." - Athena fights with Yagami as both interchange some strikes
"Stop fighting us, Iori!" - Screams Athena as she punches Yagami with a fist covered by her psycho power
"Shut up!" - Iori answers with a kick
"We can help you, Andy." - Kim
"You guys don't get it, we aren't vampires!" - Andy
"Yagami, stop this! We'll get you help somehow." - Kyo grabs Yagami's fists stopping him getting in the middle of him and Athena
"How did they get to you?" - Iori
"Listen to yourself, its over. You can't win this one." - Kyo
*Fluss* - Yagami breaths purple flames from his mouth surprising Kyo as he is touched by the flames and making him free him moving back
"What?" - Kyo covers his head as he removes his arms only for Yagami to hit him
"Because I have to!" - Yagami punches Kyo sending him back
Meanwhile
Heidern and Seirah are seen in the command room of the base
"Commander, are you sure it was a good idea to send them to bring Yagami?" - Seirah
"No, but all of them offered to do it. Even if I had ordered to not go against him, some of them wouldn't have listen. If Yagami is the king of vampires as Athena said, then we can only hope that bringing him here will lead to a way to stop this madness." - Heidern
"The last reports from the drones indicated that there was no vampires on the south and west areas from the city, the areas where filled with activity some hours ago but now they are empty!" - Seirah
"And Kyo and the rest are in the south, perhaps they are moving out to another places but where?" - Heidern
"They could be anywhere, Commander." - Seirah
"Huh?" - Seirah looks at her feet noticing the floor suddenly being covered with a strange black mud
"What is going on?!" - Seirah
"Seirah! Get away from that chair! I know that is this!" - Heidern and Seirah moves back as the see a shadow coming out of the floor of mud
"Hello, Heidern! Aren't you happy to see me?" - Says the shadow revealing to be the Vampire Dolores
"Dolores!" - Heidern
"This can't be! If she is here, then that means-" - Seirah
In another room the group of Heidern's soldiers suddenly notice the room becoming more filled with sand
"What the hell?! Where did this sand came from?" - Says one of Heidern's men as suddenly tons of hands come from the sand with a figure of sand emerging from it
"Is just like she said, Heidern and the rest where hidding here!" - Kukri
"This is going to be delicious!" - Kukri
"Everyone stop right now!" - Says Kim getting in the middle of the fight stopping it
"Iori, we know what happened! Is an infection in the blood, you're sick. You have to know that, deep down somewhere. But we can cure it." - Kim
"There is no cure." - Iori
"Maybe not yet. But come with us and let us help you. What happened with Terry, it wasn't your fault. Isn't the real you." - Kim
"I didn't kill Bogard, why don't you ask Ryo?" - Iori
"You're a liar! I would never-" - Ryo looks at Yagami with anger
"Stop." - Kim stops Ryo
"I don't know who else is turned besides Asamiya, but if any of you aren't infected, you're on the wrong side right now." - Iori
"I wish I could believe you but where you have been all this time, what is this department?" - Kim
"I won't tell you anything, just know that you're targeting the wrong person." - Iori
"Maybe you should let Athena scan your memories with her powers?" - Kim
"No." - Iori
"If you can show me anything that could prove that you're not a vampire?" - Kim
"I can prove-" - Iori is interrupted as the lights go out in the entire building
"Yagami... What is going on?" - Whispers Elisabeth as she, Yagami and Andy quickly take cover
"Someone cut the electricity." - Iori
Unaware of this, the entire city's power has been cut leaving nothing but darkness to reign in South Town
"Come on, Iori-san. Come out and let us help you." - Says Athena using her powers to try to bright the place and find Yagami
"Iori?" - Athena sees Yagami in a corner
Yagami uses his technique Ura 108 Shiki Ya Sakazuki making Athena be forced to dodge moving back
The pillar hits the walls of the home as slowly the entire building is filled with fire
"Well, we have some minutes to leave this place before it burns out." - Elisabeth whispers
"We need to get out of here." - Iori
"We need to return with Heidern, explain the situation that two of them are vampires." - Andy

"Finish him off! Don't give him a chance to kill us!" - Iori
Iori throws another stick aiming at the heart of the injured Ryo
"Yagami, stop this, Ryo is innocent!" - Says Shun'ei grabing the stake
"You're in the wrong side, kid." - Andy
For Shun'ei's surprise, the stake burns with purple fire making Shun'ei burn his left hand
"Move out! We have to get out of here!" - Iori
"Traitors!" - Isla approaches towards the three
Andy, Elisabeth and Iori dodges the attacks of Isla with Amanda
"I know we're the good guys here, but I feel like we'll have a lot of apology notes to write when this is over." - Elisabeth strikes Isla making her be sended crashing against a fridge
The group advances defending themselves from the rest
"Don't try to hold them back, they are too many." - Says Heidern as he, Seirah, Leona, Ralf, Clark, Kula, K' and Maxima move in the corridors of the base dodging the army of vampire fighters being helped by Heidern's men
"Oh great, them!" - Says K' as they see Najd, Dolores and Kukri approaching at maximum speed using their powers as they arrive to the hangar from the back exit of the building.
"Three on one, Athena. Stand down! You can't win." - Andy
"Do you really believe that, Andy-san? I must admit, taking an advantage of the lights being turned off to knock everyone, even Kyo, Shun'ei and Isla was impressive." - says Athena showcasing her large fangs and red eyes
"Obviously not really, no." - Andy, Blanctorche and Yagami launch themselves with determined looks towards Athena
"Now!" - Iori
"Why don't you join us, Iori-san." - Athena blocks the attacks of the three with her psycho reflector
Using her powers, Athena strikes the three teleporting moving even more faster than how she used to move for Iori and Elisabeth's surprises
"We will show you that our path is the only way forward." - Athena grabs Iori by his throat
"You know I'd never do that." - Iori
"I know. But I had to try, deep down you're essentially a good person, Iori. Just like Chizuru said, and you'd have been an amazing vampire." - Athena
"Don't mention Kagura!" - Iori throws holy water at Athena's face making her free him
"ARHG!" - Athena
"Holy water? You dare to burn my face with holy water, Yagami! You coward!" - Athena creates a psycho wave with her two hands sending Yagami back to the ground
"Argh!" - Iori
"What... Wait. You're a-" - Isla awakens to see Athena grabing her burned face with her showing her vampire features at the light of the flames burning the building
"Vampire?" - Athena removes the blood from her face
"That's right, Isla. I am." - Athena approaches Isla with a smile grabing her hands and restraining her as Isla opens her eyes unable to believe what she is hearing
"And you shall be too, Isla-san." - Athena bites Isla's neck drinking her blood
"No!" - Elisabeth runs to stop Athena only to be knocked back by a psycho ball from the psychic
"Argh!" - Elisabeth recovers seeing Athena ending drinking the tasty blood from Isla's neck with Isla looking almost dead
"Elisabeth, what can we do to stop her?" - Andy approaches Elisabeth as the injured Yagami gets up
"What can we do against a bloodthirsty goddess, Andy?" - Says Elisabeth as Andy helps her to get up
"I don't-" - Andy
"Escape." - Iori
"What?" - Andy
"You hear him! Let's get out of here!" - Elisabeth is visible frustated but she knows there's no other way
"Where do you three bastards think you're going?" - Athena teleports in front of them with her licking the blood of Isla from her lips
"So close but you just weren't strong enough, Iori." - Athena starts attacking Iori again
"What happened to the heir of the Yagami? Years have really not been kind to you, Iori." - Athena
"Argh!" - Iori
"No wonder Shun'ei beated your ass in the last tournament, old man!" - Athena
"I'm sure you think I enjoy this, but that just shows how little you even understand about-" - Athena grabs the injured and weakened Yagami by his neck
*Vromm* - A sound is heared approaching
"What was that sound?" - Athena
"ARGH!" - Athena is hit by a shadow driving a motorbike sending her to crash against the stove of the department
"Oh sorry about that, didn't see you there." - Says the driver of the bike revealing to be not other than Mai
"Mai!" - Elisabeth
"You made a mistake revealing your true self, Athena. To think you fell this way out of grace." - Mai
"You just made a horrible mistake, Mai-san!" - Athena slowly starts to get up as shadows cover her face with her red eyes being visible
"Shut the fuck up, Athena!" - Andy throws a Hishou Ken at the stove creating a explosion
"We need to go." - Andy and Elisabeth help Yagami get up
"Its four on one, we can take her, Andy." - Mai
"No we can't!" - Say both Elisabeth and Iori
"We need to get out of here." - Andy
"The jeep Kyo and the rest used to arrive is out there of the building we can use it." - Mai
Elisabeth, Iori, Andy and Mai quickly walk out of the building through the hole in the wall finally escaping the smoke cloud as they enter in the jeep
"What a luck." - Says Mai seeing the keys of the jeep still inside
"Yeah sure, let's just get out of here before the little princess gets up!" - Elisabeth
"But shouldn't that stop her?" - Mai
"You're too delusional if you think that's going to stop someone who hardly aged before being a vampire in first place." - Iori
As they leave driving the jeep, the ruins of the burned building are seen with two shadows getting out of the wreckage some moments later
"They got away." - Ryo
"I am aware!" - Athena
"Our master will not be pleased. Especially about Yagami escaping." - Ryo
"Huh?" - Both Ryo and Athena see someone moving on the ground crawling out of the wreckage
"Argh." - Kyo moans as he moves on the ground totally injured after the fight
"That Yagami, he doesn't know when to stop." - Exclaims Kyo on the ground
"Take it easy, Kyo-san." - Athena and Ryo approach Kyo
"We got you now." - Athena
"Athena, you look different or I'm hallucinating?" - Kyo rolls looking at Athena and Ryo
"Aww, my poor Kyo, time hasn't been kind to you either. I still remember when you were younger." - Says Athena not hidding her vampire features as she crouches to see Kyo
"I mean, you're still handsome, but you clearly aren't in your prime anymore." - Athena
"Ah." - Kyo is surprised as Athena approaches his neck
"But don't worry, my dear Kof Champion. I'll help you relive your old glory days again... With one little bite, that's all I need! That's all I ask from you." - Whispers Athena to Kyo in his ear with a seductive tone
"Athena, what are you doing?!" - Kyo
Without saying more, Athena bites Kyo's neck in what feels an eternity for her and Kyo
"ARGH!" - Kyo's screams are heared as Ryo watches Athena sucking his blood with a smile
