Witching Away for the Magic Knight Exam
Laphicet just woke up from his long sleep on the grass and under a big tree, letting out a big yawn while stretching his arms as he can feel his back is doing okay during the night.
"Wow, another night peaceful night gone by and another great day of adventuring through the road." Laphicet smiled looking up at the sky.
Laphicet got himself, cleaning the grasses off his pajama shirt before changing into his every day clothing then looking through his notebook of how far he has gotten through on his journey and how close to the Royal Capital of the Clover Kingdom.
"(It's been seven days since I left my hometown Maotelus and the days that will take in getting to the capital is about eight days which means I only have one more day to reach the exam.)" Laphicet thought noticed the distance.
"(I just hope the distance won't be too hard from here otherwise I could miss the exam.)" Laphicet thought worried.
The silver fire boy gather his belongings and double checking to make sure they're all here and not missing out, like the few rations he accidentally lost during his second day of traveling the path.
"Hmm, Grimoirh said that I'm supposed to meet this Magilou woman along the way, but I haven't seen her yet." Laphicet said walking the path again.
"I hope nothing bad happened to her." Laphicet concerned for someone he hasn't met yet.
Laphicet continues walking down the path to the capital until he reaches the mountain area.
"Wow, that looks really tall!" Laphicet amazed of the mountain.
"Now, according to this map. The way to the Royal Capital is through a path of this mountain region." Laphicet read over the map given to him by one of the villagers.
"It's gonna be hard getting through the mountain, but I have to try in order to make it in time for the exam." Laphicet determined rolling up the map.
Laphicet starts walking through the path making which doesn't seem hard for the first two hours until he got to the path that is narrow and had to slide his foot sideways, there were a couple of times that he almost tripped but stay strong.
Laphicet jumps off the narrow path to a more wide and solid ground.
"Phew, that was crazy." Laphicet sighed in relief and wipe the sweat from his forehead.
"But at least I managed to get through that, just wish there was another path to take." Laphicet said as he continues walking.
Laphicet then went down a rocky slope while being careful with the rocks in the way though he did spotted one rock that looks like a giraffe which made him giggle.
"Wish I could get a picture of that somehow." Laphicet held his hand together like a frame to the giraffe rock.
"Release me now!" A woman shouted.
"Huh?" Laphicet confused.
"Do you not know who I am or what I'm capable of!" The woman shouted some more.
"Shut up!" One man shouted in rage.
"Someone's in trouble!" Laphicet gasped as he hurried over to where the voices were coming from.
Laphicet make his way to one area of the mountain region spotted a scary looking man with a bird mask, he quickly stop himself and rid behind a large rock before the bird mask man turns around thought he heard something but shrug it off.
Laphicet carefully peek his head out to see there are five other men wearing bird mask like the other one he spotted, and there appears to be a young woman there.
"Did we really have to kidnap this woman? She's been annoying all day!" Bird mask bandit 1 complained.
"Yeah, this bitch is driving me crazy!" Bird mask bandit 3 exclaimed covering his eyes.
"Come on, you silly little birds were loving the tale of "The Witch who only knew the Lullaby Death" tale. I saw one of you moving to tears." The woman proclaimed with a smirk.
"N-No, I wasn't! I certainly wasn't crying about the song the little girl came up to cheer up her mom only to discover it had…" Bird mask bandit 5 started crying again.
"Shut the fuck up!" Bird mask boss punched the guy down to the ground.
"In case you idiots forgotten, we took this bitch in order to sell her off and take her grimoire as our trophy." Bird mask boss reminded his men.
"(They want to take her grimoire? That's wrong!)" Laphicet thought shocked.
"You fools, you can't do anything to my grimoire unless I'm the one holding it or else that'll just be a plain old book." The woman pointed out.
"So what, we love to see how long the fuckers we sell off and watch the grimoires on our shelves until one day they disappear when the user dies." Bird mask bandit 4 explained smirking under his mask.
"But suddenly all the grimoires we had died on us meaning all the people we sold off died at the same time." Bird mask bandit 3 mentioned.
"And because of that, we have to start over our collection all over again, and you were unfortunate enough to cross our path." Bird mask bandit 5 slapped the woman on the face.
"How dare you!" The woman angered.
"Oh, we dare!" Bird mask boss kicked the woman in the face.
"(So, they're bandits and want to take that woman's grimoire just to wait for her to die…)" Laphicet thought angered clutching his fists.
"Not going to happen!" Laphicet decided to make his move.
"Let's hope the buyer will be interested in this witchy little bitch." Bird mask bandit 2 pointed his thumb at the woman.
"Though it's kind of strange, you don't see witches out here from where they're from." Bird mask bandit 4 stated.
"That's because I'm no ordinary witch, you are the fools for having capture the witch who only knows mischief and chaos with wicked deeds that none could hope to top!" The woman bragged.
"Oh great, here she goes again." Bird mask boss groaned.
"Let her go now!" Laphicet shouted as he jumps out of his hiding place.

"What the fuck?" Bird mask bandit 1, 2, and 3 shocked of seeing some little kid here.
"Silver Flame Magic: Lunar Formation!" Laphicet unleashed a dozen little fireballs at the three bird mask bandits sending them flying a few feet.
"What the fuck?! Why is there a little kid here and why does he have a grimoire?" Bird mask bandit 6 gasped.
"I think that kid is older than he looks." Bird mask bandit 4 guessed.
"Who the fucking cares, just take him out and we'll have two slaves to sell!" Bird mask boss ordered.
The rest of the bird mask bandits nodded taking out their grimoires while the woman is impressed with how this kid suddenly came to save her.
"You're dead!" Bird mask bandit 4 fired some sharp rock projectiles at the boy.
Laphicet dodges the rocks to his left running around only to stop one a small metal spear almost hit his foot, turning to see one of them unleashing a few more of those spears at him and the silver book owner quickly dodges them.
Then a fireball came at Laphicet from the right that narrowly hits him, but he was able to dodge it with only a tiny burn on the edge of his hair as he settle the tiny smoke down as he turn to see another bird mask bandit with his red grimoire.
"(I'm gonna need help.)" Laphicet thought looked around until he spotted the captured woman.
Laphicet got an idea and ran for the captured woman.
"Stop him!" Bird mask boss unleashed a sharp star projectile at the boy, but he was able to jump to dodge it.
"Silver Flame Magic: Arctic Pearl!" Laphicet fired a few small dagger-like flames at the capture woman who panics.
The woman thought her days was done by being burned alive, but the silver flames that hit her didn't burn her at all except for the ropes that were binding her.
"Come on!" Laphicet called out.
"Oh yes, now you fools are going to get it!" The woman chuckled sinisterly as her pink and purple square pattern grimoire returned to her.
"Now, you shall witness the amazing and dark performance of Magigigika Mirdin Do Din Nolurun Dou! Magilou for short!" Magilou revealed her name.
"Wait, that's Magilou!" Laphicet shocked.
Magilou is a young woman with very long, pale-blonde hair and light skin. She has lush blue-green eyes and pointed ears. Her attire consists of a matching costume, all with inverted colours. She wears a black, ruffle-like neck-piece and a three-pointed jester hat, which is an inverted pink and patterned with purple and black-layered diamond shapes. She wears a torso of half pink and half black with purple diamond layers embroidered above. On the back, there is a black-pink and pink-purple diamond print. Coming out of the lower-back of her corset is a purple-velvet tail with a fold at the end. The arm-warmers are of equal length and use pink and black in opposition to each arm, with a lace tied to her left arm-warmer. Her pants consist of shorts with a belt; the belt has small hooks which holds five of her locked books. Connected to her belt is also a strap which connects each side to a long sock, altogether being a part of her shorts, which is then finished off with magenta-lilac jester shoes. Breasts sizes: B-cup.
"Fucking damn it, and we had to go through all the trouble of capturing her too!" Bird mask bandit angered.
"Indeed, now watch as I dazzle you with art!" Magilou twirled around and seven cards with faces appears in front of her.
"Whoa!" Laphicet surprised of seeing Magilou's magic right now.
"Guardian Card Magic: Attracting Shock!" Magilou snapped her fingers causing the cards to fly toward each bandit.
The six cards lands on the bird mask bandits and then suddenly shock them so much that the bandits burned into dark brown and fell.
"Whoa, that was so cool!" Laphicet amazed.
"Thank you, thank you, it's nice to have kind words from a wonderful audience then those idiots that dare to credit my performance as shit." Magilou smiled.
But Magilou's eyes widen of shock when seeing something coming at Laphicet from behind.
"Look out!" Magilou pulled Laphicet in as they fell onto the ground to dodge a sudden star attack.
"You bastards are really starting to piss me off!" Bird mask boss angered.
"Oh please, I haven't even tried my best." Magilou smirked as she gets up, but felt pain in her arm and look over to see she got a cut probably from that star attack.
"I'm going to beat you down with the same move that I used before to capture you." Bird mask boss angered and held his hands in the air as big star appears above him.
"Damn it, I need to…" Magilou surprised when Laphicet stands in front of her.
"I will not allow you to do more harm to this woman anymore, now you're going to feel the burn with my silver flame!" Laphicet declared as his grimoire flip through some pages and the two are surrounded by the flames as well.
"(Silver flames, don't tell me this kid…!)" Magilou thought realized who this kid really is.
"Don't think you can scare me with your pretty little fire show. I'm going to make you all see stars when you're close to Hell!" Bird mask bandit declared as his star grew three feet bigger than himself.
"Star Magic: Crashing Star!" Bird mask bandit jumped high and threw the big star at them.
"Silver Flame Magic: Silver Dragon Roar!" Laphicet unleashed his attack forming into the head of a dragon and the silver flame dragon fires a large stream of flames at the star.
The two attacks clashed onto each other causing a sparkling shockwave of silver and yellow as the two magic users tried to overpower each other, but it looks like the Bird mask bandit is winning with his star slowly pushing through.
"(No, he's winning!)" Magilou thought worried.
"Come on, didn't you go through all the trouble of traveling all the way from your little nowhere hometown to become a strong Magic Knight? Search deeper within your heart, within your soul and let all that power loose!" Magilou encouraged the boy to push the bandit back.
Laphicet heed her words and remembering what Grimoirh taught him about feeling the mana from the depts of his soul. With one might push, Laphicet let out a scream that almost sounded like a dragon causing the silver flame attack to get stronger pushing back the star harder.
"What?!" Bird mask boss gasped, couldn't believe his own attack is being overpowered.
Within a few seconds with the star magic attack being burned away by the flaming attack, the Bird mask boss is consumed by the power of Laphicet's magic as he screams in fear and pain of the attack for a moment until he fell to the ground.

"I did it!" Laphicet jumped in victory, but then wobbles a bit with how much mana he had to use.
"You certainly, kid. You surprised me even more than what Grimoirh wrote me in her letter about you.
"I was more surprised to see Grimoirh's friend being a crazy witch who doesn't mind danger staring at her in the face." Laphicet commented.
"You better believe to be surprised." Magilou smirked pointing her finger at him.
"Mind if I get a good look at your grimoire?" Magilou asked.
"Sure." Laphicet nodded and hold out his grimoire to her.
"I heard all those weird stuff you've been saying, but I don't think you're a bad witch or anything. I say you're an amazing, good witch!" Laphicet believed with a smile.
"Yeah, yeah, say what you believe." Magilou rolled her eyes and took a look at the grimoire seeing the five-leaf clover.
"It's the real thing, alright." Magilou whispered to herself and then grins.
"Kid, I think you're going to make the Clover Kingdom turn upside-down of madness with what you got!" Magilou grinned.
"If you say so, Grimoirh said you can help me get to the Royal Capital along the way, but I haven't been able to meet up with before." Laphicet mentioned.
"You can blame these meatheads. They ambushed me yesterday when I tried going over this area and were planning on selling me, good thing you came otherwise I would've ended up doing comedy shows every Saturday night for all of eternity." Magilou explained.
"But I'm a little surprised that you actually came here since this route has rarely been use for years." Magilou said.
"I used a map someone from my village gave me, though I think it's a bit outdated." Laphicet revealed.
"Well, no time like the present. You got an exam to get to and it is my job to get you there." Magilou smiled as her grimoire glows.
"Guardian Card Magic: Sky Surfboard!" Magilou caused a card to appear and grow larger and a little longer than herself.
"Hop aboard, next stop the Royal Capital of the Clover Kingdom!" Magilou announced as she jumps onto the floating card.
Laphicet hesitated at first to get on the card though he didn't want to look like a coward in front of the woman who was close to Grimoirh, he gets on and they immediately flew into the sky going superfast as Laphicet screams of the sudden liftoff.
"Just hang on, kid! This is gonna be a fun ride!" Magilou laughed.
"Could you maybe slow down!" Laphicet begged.
Soon they stop going higher and starts to feel like smooth flying even though they're still going fast, Laphicet open his eyes seeing how high they are with the sudden feeling of amazement and saw a strong-looking bird flying next to them.
"Laphicet, look down." Magilou pointed down.
Laphicet did with his mouth gaping wide of a smile upon seeing the large city sitting on top of a large mountain already knowing what that place is from the books and stories about this place.
"Welcome to the Royal Capital of Clover Kingdom, home to the Magic Knights, the king himself, and the one and only Wizard King." Magilou smiled.
"Wow!" Laphicet said.

After going through the long travel by himself and stopping a bandit group, Laphicet has finally reach the Clover Kingdom's Royal Capital with the help of the self-proclaimed witch of chaos, Magilou and things will get more magical once Laphicet meets a new unique friend.
