Later that night, Sasuke held Naruto in his arms as the two were trying to fall asleep. After the encounter with Fugaku, Naruto demanded that Sasuke tell Sakura the great news. With a smirk, Sasuke allowed Naruto to come with him.

The pinkette was not excited about the news, even trying to convince Sasuke that it was still a scam. Sasuke made sure she understood that tonight was her last night here before walking away, Naruto following behind with a smug smirk thrown over his shoulder.

Shortly after arriving to their room, there was a light knock on his bedroom door. The two looked at each other, wondering who it could be. "Come in." Sasuke called out.

Mikoto opened the door, giving her son a shy smile. "Sasuke, Naruto."

Sasuke sat up straight, moving to the edge of the bed to stand up when Mikoto raised up her hand,

"No need to stand up. I'm only here to apologize."

Sasuke raised an eyebrow in confusion. "Apologize?"

Naruto also looked confused but kept quiet, keeping his gaze on Mikoto.

Mikoto gave him a nod. "Yes. Your father was talking like he was suspicious ever since Itachi broke off his engagement. I brushed it off as him being upset. Had I know he would've retaliated like that, I would have done something." Tears started to pool in the corner of her eyes and she set her gaze down to the floor. "I never believed in anything your father said and even if I did know that you guys were demons," she glanced at the blonde. "You really brought something positive into my son's life, and it wouldn't have mattered to me."

"Mom,-"

There was a loud wailing sound and both Uchiha's looked at the blonde in bewilderment as he began to cry loudly.

"Naruto? What's wrong?" Sasuke quickly held the blonde in his arms at his side.

"It's just so sweet." Naruto managed to mutter out as he got his crying somewhat under control. He turned to look up at Mikoto, wiping his face as best as he could. "Thank you."

Sasuke shook his head with a light smirk before turning back to his mother and giving her a small smile as well. "Yeah, thank you."

Mikoto smiled at the two of them before giving a slight bow and making her way out of the room.

"I feel bad." Naruto frowned as the two once again got comfortable on the bed.

"What for?" Sasuke mindlessly began playing with the golden locks, threading his fingers through the strands.

"Well, she lost her husband. She's kind of alone now, you know?"

Sasuke let out a snort. "It was an arranged marriage. I don't even think they slept in the same bed once I turned five. I doubt she's too upset. At least about being alone."

Naruto blinked at him in shock before relaxing, snuggling closer to the raven. He let out a contented sigh. "You know, I really missed sleeping in this bed."

Sasuke let out a 'hn', causing Naruto to snicker.

"And I missed sleeping with you."

Sasuke tugged Naruto closer, causing the blonde to let out an 'oof'. The raven smirked before lightly kissing the top of his head. "I gotta admit I missed you too."

"Yeah, you better have." Naruto looked back up at him. He smiled at him. "I'm so happy you came around."

"It was all because of you." Sasuke paused before placing his hand on top of Naruto's stomach. "And this little one."

The blonde giggled as Sasuke began to rub his flat stomach. "There's nothing even there yet!"

Sasuke let out a chuckle. "Alright, let's go to bed. We have important stuff to do in the morning." He pulled the two of them down and pulled the covers over them.

"Goodnight, I love you." Naruto snuggled into the raven's side, closing his eyes.

"Love you too."

The next day was filled with making sure Sakura was escorted out of the kingdom and Sasuke and Naruto planning out their wedding with the Uchiha's council. Since Fugaku can no longer hold the title of Lord, they needed the next heir to take his place.

Fugaku never officially declared who would take his place. It was up to Itachi and Sasuke to decide who would take over. That was when Itachi came up with a plan.

The elder raven figured since Naruto was pregnant, Sasuke could stay and rule over the kingdom, getting their people to begin to trust in demons. Meanwhile, he and Kyuubi would start to travel the lands, getting other kingdoms and demons to unite.

Sasuke wholeheartedly agreed with his brother. Once announced to the council, they demanded the pair get married immediately so the two could accept their position in power.

While the two were in their prenuptial meeting, Kakashi, Iruka, Itachi and Kyuubi were gathered in the parlor, talking about the day before.

"It was pretty weird." Kyuubi frowned as he leaned back onto the couch. Itachi, who was sitting next to him, threw his arm over his shoulder. "When I looked into his eyes at the sharingan, it wasn't like I was frozen but more like in pain and very nauseous."

Kakashi leaned forward in his seat, humming. "So, how is it supposed to feel when you're under the spell of sharingan?"

Iruka coughed to clear his throat and everyone directed their attention to him. "It's not supposed to be painful. It's more of a hypnotized, paralysis feeling. And I've never heard of anyone throwing up or being nauseous without some underlying condition."

At Iruka's comment, Kyuubi's eyes widened and his stomach dropped as a sense of nervousness washed over him. Itachi gave Iruka a look of concern. "So there may be something wrong with Kyuubi?"

Iruka worriedly bit his lip but kept quiet, not wanting to answer the question.

"Let's not jump to any conclusions." Kakashi jumped in. "We can go to that same doctor as Naruto did, get some blood work done and see what they have to say. Then we can go from there."

Itachi turned to Kyuubi, giving him a small smile. "Does that work for you?"

Kyuubi stared at Itachi before giving a quick nod. "Yeah, that sounds good."

Kakashi smiled widely at them before standing up. "Well alright then, let's go!"

The rest of the week passed, the kingdom preparing for the wedding of Sasuke and Naruto. Kyuubi spent the week feeling anxious about his results from the doctor.

The actual day of the wedding, Kyuubi was pacing in his room after getting ready for the wedding. Itachi leaned against the door frame of the closed bedroom door, smirking lightly. "Nervous?"

Kyuubi paused in his pacing to look over at the raven. "Kinda. But not about the wedding, I'm excited for that.'

Itachi pushed himself off the wall, sauntering closer to the red-head. He gently placed his hands on Kyuubi's shoulders. "So what are you so nervous about?"

Kyuubi let out a sigh before sitting down on the bed. "The results from the doctor. What if it's really bad? O-or worse! What if I di-"

"That's enough." Itachi interrupted before sitting down on the bed next to him. He wrapped an arm around the red-head's shoulder while his other hand rested on his thigh. "There's no need to think about all that, especially on the day of your brother's wedding." He gently tucked a stray hair behind Kyuubi's ear. "We'll get your results on Monday and deal with whatever result there is then. And I'll be right here with you."

Kyuubi let out a long sigh and leaned against the raven. "I know you're right." He turned to look at Itach before smiling softly and placing a light kiss against his pale neck. "Thank you."

"Anything for you." Itachi placed a kiss on top of his head before standing up and then gently pulling Kyuubi up. "Now let's go have some fun and watch our beloved brothers get married."

The ceremony was a lavish and beautiful one, the people within the kingdom being surprisingly supportive. They were tired of the tyranny and constant fighting that the previous Uchiha leaders enforced. They were ready for the change that the new nuptials would bring.

Sasuke and Naruto were married in the main room of the temple, the pews being filled, people even having to stand to be able to see the couple.

The reception was then held in the banquet hall. Though the ceremony was a public event, the reception was small, only filled with family and friends. Everyone enjoyed the food before the couples opened gifts and then finished the night off with dancing where Sasuke and Naruto enjoyed their first dance together as newlyweds.

Due to Fugaku's loss of power, Sasuke and Naruto were only able to have the weekend to themselves. With Itachi and Kyuubi's plans of leaving the kingdom, it was Sasuke's duty to take over.

"My husband." Sasuke said with a smirk as Naruto began to undress from his clothes. He walked over to the blonde and wrapped his arms around his waist, resting his chin in the crook between Naruto's neck and shoulder. "My beautiful husband." He lightly whispered into his ear.

Naruto let out a giggle as Sasuke's warm breath tickled his ear. He leaned back into the raven's chest and let out a content sight. "I can't believe it's real. The prophecy is finally coming true."

Sasuke let out a hum, slowly moving his hand to Naruto's stomach. "It is."

The two were silent, basking in each other's embrace. "Do you think Kyuubi will be okay?" Naruto asked in a hushed voice.

Sasuke stayed silent.

"I'm just worried, you know." Naruto kept going. "And especially if him and Itachi leave. What if he gets really sick, and just gets worse. What if I don't get to see him again, and-"

Sasuke quickly turned the blonde in his arms so he could look into tear-filled cerulean eyes. "Naruto, calm down."

Naruto choked back a sob before hiding his face into Sasuke's chest. "I'm just scared, Sasuke. We went through all this craziness, I don't want to risk losing him again."

"I know." Sasuke said. "But you don't have to worry, if Kyuubi was in any serious trouble, he would be in a lot worse condition."

Naruto pulled away from him, giving him a questioning look.

"Think about it." Sasuke gently ran his fingers through his hair. "If he was seriously sick or whatever, he would be in serious pain, or extremely tired. Spending most of his time in since he's up and about, he can't be in too much trouble."

Naruto scrunched up his nose in thought, taking in the raven's words before he broke out into a large grin. "You make a point. I'm worrying over nothing. Instead," he narrowed his eyes in a lustful gaze. "I should be catering to my new husband."

Sasuke smirked at the blonde before capturing his lips in a kiss and slowly pulling away. "Glad to see you have your priorities straight. Now, let's get to officially consummating our marriage."

Monday afternoon, Itachi waited patiently at the gazebo for Kyuubi's arrival. Earlier that morning, Kyuubi, Kakashi and Iruka, made their way to the doctor while him and Sasuke went to the council. Itachi was there to discuss his plans on trying to unite demons and humans. The council was impressed by the detailed plan Itachi had outlined and approved him and Kyuubi immediate leave by the end of the week. If, of course, Kyuubi's results permitted it.

As Itachi sat there waiting, his thoughts revolved around the beautiful red-head and though he presented himself as calm on the outside, internally he was brooding, worrying about what would happen if he were to lose his precious Kyuubi. He quickly shook his head to rid himself of the dark thoughts. He then noticed in the distance the trio making their way towards him and he stood up, waiting for them to approach.

As they got closer, Kyuubi had a large grin on his face and Itachi let out a breath he didn't realize he was holding. If he was that happy, surely the news had to be on the positive side.

"You'll never believe what the problem is!" Kyuubi exclaimed as soon as he was in front of the taller raven.

Itachi gave him a small smirk as he embraced the smaller male in his arms. "What is it?"

Kyuubi breathed in Itachi's scent before pulling away and smiling even brighter. "I'm pregnant!"

Itachi's eyes widened for a moment before he smiled and picked up the red-head, spinning him around. Kyuubi laughed in amusement as he was spun, holding onto Itachi's neck with a loose grip. "That's wonderful news!" Itachi said once he put Kyuubi back down on the ground.

"I know!"

"It explains why he had that weird reaction with Fugaku's sharingan." Iruka said as the pair turned to face him and Kakashi. "His body was just weaker so he could be affected by it."

"Is he cleared to be traveling?" Itachi inquired, wrapping his arm around Kyuubi's waist.

Kakashi gave a nod before smiling at the couple. "Yes he is. Just try to find a doctor at least once a month to make sure the baby is developing as it should be."

"Now that's something we can easily accomplish." Kyuubi smiled before looking up at Itachi who gave him a kiss.

The rest of the week passed by quickly, Sasuke and Naruto being busy with their new duties and Itachi and Kyuubi who were preparing for their leave. It was now the day of their departure and the four of them were now just outside the kingdom walls, Itachi and Kyuubi on their horses with their supplies packed.

"I can't believe we're both pregnant at the same time and we won't get to spend it together.' Naruto smiled up sadly at his brother.

Kyuubi gave him his own sad smile in return. "I know, but hey, we can now officially say we both fulfilled the prophecy, right?"

Naruto let out a giggle. "Yeah, you're right. Never thought about that outcome."

"All that pointless fighting and drama for nothing." Itachi pointed out with a smirk, his gaze mostly focused on Sasuke.

"Yeah, yeah." Sasuke grumbled out.

The four of them laughed before a comfortable silence settled upon them. "I'm going to miss you guys." Naruto was the first to say.

"I know, but we'll be back in a year and we can all catch up then." Kyuubi said.

"You better, I'll need to meet my new niece or nephew." Sasuke gave a playful glare to them.

"Right back at you." Itachi's smirk seemed to grow before it turned into a soft smile. "But we should get going."

"Alright, good luck with your travels." Sasuke wrapped his arm around Naruto's waist, pulling him closer.

"We'll see you in a year!" The pair began to wave as Itachi and Kyuubi began to ride off.
