After coming back from Mesa City, news of residents returning have spread and no Heartless sightings have been reported, which was a good thing for the people.
"Glad Muggshot's behind bars along with Raleigh," Sora said.
"Same here. Two down, three to go," Kairi said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"So now the next mission is out to Haiti, just like Muggshot said. Haiti's swamp is the perfect place to hide, since she's an alligator, also since she's a voodoo priestess, she's even closer to the darkness a whole lot more than other other member of the Fiendish Five. So there should be even more Heartless there," Bentley said.
"And the we're gonna be in trouble if Mz. Ruby finds the Keyhole before we do," Kairi said.
"Kairi's right. Mz. Ruby is nothing to sneeze and neither are we. So, let's get our gear together and get down to Haiti," Sly said.
With that said, Sora, Kairi, the Cooper Gang, Pikachu, and Angel got what they needed for their mission to deal with Mz. Ruby and her dark forces.
The third member of the Fiendish Five was the infamous voodoo priestess, Mz. Ruby. Born into a family of mystics, other children found her... scary, teaching herself to summon the undead, provided what few friends she had. A career in crime allowed an adult Mz. Ruby to punish the world for fearing her as a child. Chief mystic for the Fiendish Five, her powers allowed them to break both the laws of man and nature at the same time. Yet, despite the whirlwind success of her youth, she'd managed to slip into obscurity. Last known sightings claimed she headed out of civilization and deep into the Haitian jungle.
The Cooper Van arrived to a swamp of the Haitian jungle. Stepping out, Sora and Kairi looked around.
"Man, I thought Dracula's castle was creepy, but Mz. Ruby's swamp is even creepier," Sora said.
"Even Shrek wouldn't make a home here," Kairi said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
Bentley made contact with Sly through the binocuccom.
"Sorry, Sly, but this is one mission you will have to accomplish without me," Bentley said.
"You don't believe in ghosts, do you?" Sly asked.
"Sure I do. My scanners haven't just picked up Heartless, but they also picked up verifiable paranormal activity, but that's not the problem. This swamp is oozing with disgusting mold and bacteria," Bentley said.
"Suck it up, Bentley. We've got work to do," Sly said.
"Sly's right. We need you to help open the vaults in Mz. Ruby's lair, because we can't crack them like you can," Sora said.
"Well, alright then. Don't forget to use the new move you learned from Muggshot's section of the Thievius Raccoonus," Bentley said.
"You mean the Raccoon Rail Walk? Sora, Kairi, and I practiced that one," Sly said.
"And it was loads of fun," Sora said.
"The roots and vines around here are perfect for that. Especially where you see the bark has been worn away. And where it's super slick from icky slime and moss, you'll rail slide like a skater grinding pipe," Bentley said.
"I'm liking it," Sly said.
"Okay, let's put it to good use," Sora said.
"Pika!" Pikachu agreed.
Sly leads the couple as they put the Raccoon Rail Walk to good use on the vines. Along the way, they met with giant mosquitoes, spiders, and swamp monsters. They figured they could be Mz. Ruby's forces.
"Yee-haw!" Sora exclaimed.
Getting closer to Mz. Ruby's stronghold, they came across a wall with a tall, brown water rat. He wore black pants with a red band, a necklace made out of bones, a candle in his head and two orange bracelets on his left arm. He carried a staff with a skull on top that emitted a powerful light, shinging down.
"Looks like we got a wall go over," Sly said.
"Mz. Ruby's base has to be closer now," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Something might happen to us if we make the wrong move," Kairi said.
"Not to worry. I got this," Sly said as he heads on over to the wall.
"That's what worries me," Kairi said.
"You sound like Bentley, Kairi," Sora said.
"One of us has to," Kairi said.
Sly sneaks against the wall, being careful not letting the light shine on him. Once Sly was in position, he knocked out the water rat and gestures them to come. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel head over to the wall and climbed up. Once arriving, they noticed a purple forcefield at the door. Sly contacts Bentley from the binocuccom.
"Bentley, we see a door, but there's a purple glow on it," Sly said.
"That's Mz. Ruby's lair. To get in, you'll need to take it out. There's a bad mojo force field protecting the door, so you'll have to destroy all five of the purple candles powering it," Bentley said. Sly spots the key.
"No problem," Sly said.
"Don't get cocky, or you'll end up with your head shrunk to the size of a pea. You've got to get past those voodoo guards, and I'm warning you, they're mean, and they work like a team," Bentley said.
"We work as a team, too," Sora said.
"I think we should take them out first, because it's going to be hard to make it when they're patrolling the area," Kairi said.
"You sit this one out. I'll take care of the guards while you keep your eyes opened for any Heartless," Sly said.
"Right," Kairi said.
Sly sneaks over to the area and knocked out all of the water rat guards before any of them knew what hit them. Sly destroyed the five purple candles.
"The candles are out!" Sora said.
"And the forcefield's down, too," Kairi said.
Sly gestures the couple to come down. They rejoin the raccoon as he is about to reach for the vault.
Just then, Heartless appeared before them. They consisted of Shadows, Flutterings, Gargoyles, Wright Knights, Search Ghosts, Trick Ghosts, Creepworms, and a kind new Heartless, but they seem to resemble alligators.
This new kind of Heartless has dark green scales and a light green underbelly. It has the traditional Heartless eyes and the Heartless symbol is on the forehead. This shall be known as the Crawling Gator.
"Thought it was too easy!" Sora exclaimed, summoning his Keyblade. Kairi summoned hers as well, ready to fight the Heartless.
"Get ready, you two," Sly said.
As the Heartless engaged the intruders, Sly started by smacking one of the Shadows and Pikachu unleashed an Elctro Ball, destroying the Creepworms. The Gargoyles proved to be hard opponents to hit as they manifest themselves as pure darkness before retaking physical form to strike at them. Sly struck a Fluttering with his cane as a Trick Ghost blew purple flames from off their candles. The Crawling Gators snapped at the couple, and their skin were hard as diamonds, but that didn't mean they didn't have a weakness. Sora and Kairi managed to finish off the attacking Heartless.
"And don't come back," Sora said as Sly goes for the vault. Sly contacts Bentley again.
"Found another vault. You know the routine," Sly said.
"If I did my math right, and I always do my math right, then the combination has got to be 5-8-8," Bentley said. Sly undoes the vault and it opens to reveal a page of the Thievius Raccoonus.
"This is great! This one is from Kelle McCooper and it shows I can harness electricity in my rolls," Sly said.
"That should give Mz. Ruby a shock she won't forget," Kairi said.
"I'll say it will," Sly agreed, taking out his calling card and placed it inside.
They enter inside Mz. Ruby's base of operations. The Keyblade wielders felt something dark coming from what looks like an alligator's head. Bentley contacts Sly again.
"My paranormal scanner is maxing out on that structure," Bentley said.
"A reading like that could only be coming off Mz. Ruby herself," Sly said.
"Sly's right. I felt something dark coming from up there," Kairi said.
"I felt it, too," Sora said.
"If you want a crack at Mz. Ruby, you're going to have to find a way inside that Skull Temple," Bentley said.
"On it," Sora, Kairi, and Sly said. As they got close to Mz. Ruby's base, the sound of a microphone goes off.
"Wake up, you lazy bags of swamp gas! The voodoo vibe is thick tonight. Let's take advantage of this powerful mojo and step up production. Keep piling those shiny bones into the soup. We'll have an army of ghosts by morning and take over Mexico by the end of the week. But I ain't forgetting the Heartless, so they'll do their part in turning some folks into more Heartless. Hear that voodoo, children? Our family is about to grow, grow, grow!" Mz. Ruby said as she laughed through the intercom.
"That's one family reunion that I think I'm gonna skip out on," Sora said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
"Not unless we put a stop to it before it starts," Kairi said.
"Maybe your magic can counter Mz. Ruby's voodoo magic," Sly said.
"You might be right, Sly. It worked on Muggshot, so it should work against Mz. Ruby's voodoo, too," Sora said.
In the Skull Temple, we see a dark green alligator with a light green belly and mouth, along with sharp teeth, spikes on her tail and dark blue hair. She also has red eyes. Her attire includes what appears to be a pinkish-purple sleeveless shirt, a red bandana on her head tying up her hair, one gold ring on each of her ankles and two of them on her wrists. She also has her fingernails and toenails painted red in addition to the ruby in her belly button, and also wears a gold necklace around her neck. Her appearance is typical of a voodoo priestess.
"The stars are on my side tonight. Ghosts and Heartless, such a good recipe for my voodoo evil. If anyone tries to stop me, I'll make an example out of them!" Mz Ruby said. She finished making voodoo dolls of Sora, Kairi, and Sly. "Just like what I'm gonna do these three if they cross me."
Back with Sora, Kairi, Sly, Pikachu, and Angel came across what looks like a huge gate right in front of them.
"If there's an important section of the Thievius Raccoonus inside there, then she's really trying to keep us out," Sora said.
"Or maybe, keep something in," Sly said.
"You mean there's something in there that even scares Mz. Ruby?" Kairi asked.
"Most likely. Why else would she keep it in there?" Sly asked.
Pikachu and Angel climbed up on their Trainer's shoulders and they went around the gate instead of going through it.
Upon entering the area behind the gate, they kept their eyes opened for some signs of the Heartless, but so far they didn't see any, but Kairi and Angel noticed the reeds shifting in the mucky water.
"I think you were right, Sly. There's something swimming under that water," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"We better keep moving," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu said.
And they did keep moving while aware of the presence of the creature roaming around. They didn't wait long until a monstrous serpent emerged from under the merky water. It spewed a green toxic breath at them, making them flee.
"Have this!" Kairi said, casting her blizzard spell, hitting it in the mouth. The serpent roared, feeling angered by the coldness it just received.
"Uh, Kairi, I think you just made it angry," Sora said.
"I think you're right," Kairi agreed.
"Run for it!" Sly said.
The serpent gave chase to the invaders throughout the area right until the serpent got tired of chasing them and dove down.
"That was close," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said. Sly spotted the vault and went right over it.
"Bentley, I found the vault," Sly said.
"I had to overcome some personal demons to get the answer to this one. Try 4-4-4," Bentley said. Better than 6-6-6. Sly dials the combination and the vault opened and a page of the Thievius Raccoonus inside it. He placed his calling card in the vault.
"Which one is that from?" Sora asked.
"This one is a little more modern. This is Bruce O'Coop's computer hacking technique. I think Bentley could be more useful than I would," Sly said.
They left the beast's lair before it could track them down. So they made their way to a graveyard, which was guarded by a muskrat guard. Pikachu snuck over to the guard and shocked the muskrat and knocked him out. They entered the graveyard only to be greeted by a jaguar ghost. Sly smacked the ghost and it disappeared.
"Sly, you'd better be on your guard here. My paranormal scanners show this place is really haunted!" Bentley warned.
"I think we got that impression when we were greeted by a ghost," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Well, we better keep our eyes opened just in case more of them show up," Sora said, holding his Keyblade.
"Pikachu," Pikachu said.
With that said, they used the Raccoon Rail Walk to slide down the vines and they bumped into more ghosts and a swamp monster in their way. Sora, Kairi, and Sly smacked away any ghosts that came to their paths. Sly smashed a gravestone and the ghosts have stopped coming.
"Is it me or did those ghosts just stopped coming at us?" Sora asked. Sly contacted Bentley.
"Hey, Bentley, we had a welcoming committee of spooks, but they quit coming as soon as I smashed a gravestone," Sly said.
"Now that was very interesting. When you smashed that gravestone, the ghosts stopped coming. It must be some kind of ghost generator. Maybe if you smashed them all, you'd be safe," Bentley said.
"Great. We get more ghosts coming at us the further we go," Sora said.
"We're already used to fighting the Heartless, so it shouldn't be a problem to bust some ghosts, Sora," Kairi said.
"Yeah, you're right, Kairi. We can be both monster slayers and Ghostbusters," Sora said.
"Pikachu!" Pikachu said.
"I like your attitude, Sora. Let's keep going," Sly said.
They kept going throughout the graveyard and dealt with any Heartless, swamp monsters and ghosts that came at them. The Heartless were Search Ghosts and Trick Ghosts. They timed the Ninja Spire Jump carefully as the torches lit up. Sora and Kairi cast their thunder spells and destroyed the gravestones as the ghosts emerged from inside. Pikachu attacked the ghosts with a Thunderbolt.
They managed to sneak through Mz. Ruby's security and swatted some of the giant mosquitoes that came after them.
After fighting their way through the horde of restless spirits and destroyed the gravestones, they found the vault.
"Okay, Bentley, another vault is found, and if you cracked the code, now is a good time," Sly said.
"Okay, okay, this is kind of a guess, but try 1-2-8," Bentley said. Sly dials the combination and the vault opened and some blueprints are present inside.
"Mz. Ruby's base of operations," Sly said.
"Well, at least she won't be putting these into any bad use," Sora said.
"Yeah, but it won't stop her from trying," Sly said, taking out his calling card and placed it inside the vault.
After they made it out of the graveyard, they're suddenly greeted by Shadows, Search Ghosts, Trick Ghosts, and Crawling Gators waiting for them.
"Get out of here!" Kairi said, swinging her Keyblade at a Shadow, destroying it.
The fight with the Heartless went on right until a Crawling Gator struck a door before being destroyed. The beast was released. The beast destroyed the rest of the Heartless as it slithered through the compound.
"Well, that was unexpected," Kairi said.
"Eevee," Angel agreed.
"On the plus side, we can now go in further thanks to that thing," Sly said.
"Pika, Pika," Pikachu said.
As they entered deeper into Mz. Ruby's base of operations, they spotted four muskrat guards guarding a bubbling cauldron and masks going all around.
"Mz. Ruby has got to have something really valuable with that kind of security," Sly said. He makes contact with Bentley. "Bentley, we got some of Mz. Ruby's rodents guarding something nasty in that cauldron."
"It looks like some kind of giant voodoo egg beater to stir up that that unsanitary mess," Bentley said.
"If we could unlock the cauldron's lid, we might be able to thrash their production, and build up enough steam pressure to get launched up to Ruby's Skull Temple," Sly said.
"Easier said than done. Mz. Ruby has cast a spell on the locks, so she must not want to take chances since I undoubtedly think she knows about Sora and Kairi by now," Bentley said.
"Any ideas, Bentley?" Kairi asked.
"We know you'll think of something," Sora said.
"I analyzed the place and I found that it will require the use of a dark stone to unlock those locks. And I can bet those stones are heavily guarded," Bentley said.
"So the mission is to get the dark stone and use it to unlock the locks. We're gonna have to be sneaky about it," Sly said.
"Okay, sounds like we've got a plan. To get around that thing, try moving in the shadows made by the masks, just so the guards won't see you," Bentley said.
"Roger, Bentley," Sora, Kairi, and Sly said.
With that said, they used the shadows of the masks to move about, not being spotted by the guards. They made it to an area that was filled with the filthiest water that they have ever seen.
"Ew," Kairi gagged.
"Gross. Totally gross. It's filled all kinds of bones and body parts. I heard of smelling like something died, but is too much," Sora said.
"Pika," Pikachu agreed.
"Eevee," Angel said.
"Bentley would say that the health department would come down big time on this dump," Sly said.
"Well, we should be okay as long we don't fall in," Sora said.
Agreeing with Sora, they used the bones to climb on through the murky area. As they kept on moving, they hear the sound of a microphone goes off and hear the announcement.
"Hey there, Sly Cooper! That's right, I know you're here. And I know who the other two are. I'm referring to you, Sora and Kairi. I've seen it in the stars. It's all over my tea leaves. I'm in your minds, raccoon and Keyblade wielders. I know your game. You better run for it, or me and my voodoo children are going to sign you up for an eternity in zombie servitude!" Mz. Ruby said.
"Well, this confirms that Bentley was right," Sora said.
"Well, we did let out that snake monster when we were fighting the Heartless," Sly said.
"Pikachu," Pikachu agreed.
They went in even further when they noticed the security systems going on ahead.
"I might be pointing out the obvious, but I have a hunch that's got to be the source of the green gross-out soup," Sora said.
"You're right on the money, Sora. One of the dark stones might be in there," Sly said. As they kept on moving, Sly spots a vault, so he knew a page of the Thievius Raccoonus has to be in it. "Bentley, I found another vault. Care to lay it on me?"
"These codes are nothing before my righteous analytical ability! The combination has to be 5-7-1," Bentley said. Sly dials the combination and the vault opened and a page of the Thievius Raccoonus inside. Sly takes the page.
"Well, this is mind-bending," Sly said.
"Whose entries are those?" Kairi asked.
"This one is Matthew de la Coopeur, and about his slow motion technique. It says about I might be able to use it however I want to," Sly said. He took out his calling card and placed it inside. "Now for the stone."
They came to the source of the disgusting soup and found the dark stone being protected by dark magic.
"I've got this," Kairi said, summoning her Keyblade. She fires a beam of light from her Destiny's Embrace and the dark magic disappears. Sora quickly took out a Pokéball and opened it.
"Gengar! Go!" Sora called out. Gengar came out with a chuckle. "Grab that stone!" Gengar heads for the stone and grabs it. "Good job, Gengar."
"Gengar!" Gengar said, grinning. Sora calls Gengar back to his Pokéball and hands it to Sly.
"Now all that's left is Mz. Ruby," Sly said. Before they do go, they clogged up the water with their magic and took off. Once they made it back to the cauldron, Sly snuck behind the mask's shadow and made it to the right spot. Sly threw the stone and it zaps the magical barrier around the lid, making it slam down, sending the muskrats into the water below them. "Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, Angel, it's clear!" The couples gestured the raccoon as the cauldron began to rattle. Once the pressure of the steam has built up, they were shot up to Mz. Ruby's Skull Temple. They looked in a short distance to see Mz. Ruby in the company of two Gargoyles.
"Mmm, I could feel that Cooper and Keyblade wielders vibe coming. Most distastefully bad juju," Mz. Ruby said.
"Yeah, well you give us the creeps, too, lady. Cooking up an army of ghosts isn't a very neighborly pastime," Sly said.
"Seriously, lady. Who in their right mind messes with dead stuff? It's very disturbing," Sora said, shuddering.
"Not to mention a disrespect with nature," Kairi said.
Mz. Ruby laughed.
"Oh, Sly and key children, I see your mouths moving, but all I hear is blah, blah, blah. Well, if jaws need to flap, then let them flap. See you in the next world, Sly Cooper and key brats," Mz. Ruby said.
Sora, Kairi, Sly, Pikachu, and Angel spire jumped on the rocks as the ceiling clamped down, so they managed to reach the evil voodoo gator and came at her. Mz. Ruby swung her tail at them, but they dodged. Pikachu fired a Thunderbolt at her, but she blocked with her dark magic. The Gargoyles came at them, so Sora and Kairi slashed at the Heartless and destroyed them both. Sly managed to smack her, but she teleported to another part of her lair.
"Come back here! You can't run away forever!" Sly called out to her.
"Quite true, quite true. Why don't I have my servants, escort you over here?" Mz. Ruby suggested. Sora, Kairi, and Sly knew there was something they don't like coming.
"Alright, what's the catch?" Sly asked.
"Coming from that creepy reptile lady, it could be anything, Sly," Kairi said.
"Oh, not much. Just a little game I like to play with all my annoying guests. I want to see how well you pay attention," Mz. Ruby said.
"What do you mean?" Sly asked.
"I don't like this," Sora said.
"Let's play along and see what she have," Kairi suggested.
"Well, I'll unleash my mighty mojo magic upon you. If you repeat what I do, you'll dodge it just fine. If not, you'll get zapped," Mz. Ruby laughed.
"A little voodoo Simon Says, eh? Sounds easy enough," Sly said.
"Easy, but not fun," Kairi said.
"Yeah for us," Sora agreed.
They jumped on the back of a large sea turtle, so it swims towards Mz. Ruby.
"Dig, dig, dig!" Mz. Ruby chanted, firing pink orbs of magic at them.
"Dig, dig, dig!" Sora, Kairi, and Sly repeated as they dodged.
"Voo, voo, voo!" Mz. Ruby chanted, firing green orbs of magic at them.
"Voo, voo, voo!" Sora, Kairi, and Sly repeated, dodging.
"That, that, that!" Mz. Ruby chanted, firing red orbs of magic at them.
"That, that, that!" Sora, Kairi, and Sly repeated, dodging again.

"Doo!" Sora, Kairi, and Sly repeated as they jumped. The orb hits the turtle.
They engaged Mz. Ruby again as she swings at them with her tail. Sora attempts to jab at her with his Keyblade, but she managed to dodge and cast a dark spell, turning it into purple lightning. Kairi casts a reflect spell to block the light. Pikachu and Angel fired Thunderbolt and Swift at Mz. Ruby, but she blocked with her magic. Mz. Ruby summoned a couple of Darkballs and they came chattering at the couple and the raccoon. Sora and Kairi kept the Darkballs busy as Sly came at Mz. Ruby who teleports out of the way.
Once the Darkballs were destroyed, they spotted Mz. Ruby even further in the temple. She prepared to use her magic on them again. They used the Ninja Spire Jump on some spires and jumped forward when Mz. Ruby fired her magic.

When they reached Mz. Ruby once again, she attacks by swinging her tail at them, so Sora blocked with his Keyblade as Kairi and Sly came at her. She dodged, but she summons two Wright Knights and they swung their claws at them. Pikachu and Angel came at her with Quick Attack and she blocked with her magic. Sora and Kairi managed to slay the Wright Knights as Sly makes a swing at Mz. Ruby once again, but she reached the end of her temple.
"She's trapped! We've got her now!" Kairi said.
"About time, because I'm getting exhausted from this little dance, and my throat's getting sore!" Sora said.
"It'll be over soon!" Sly said as they got on the back of a giant mosquito and it slowly flies towards the Voodoo gator.
"This game has gone on long enough! Time to end it!" Mz. Ruby exclaimed. She prepares to launch the assault at them. But it came faster than before. "Dig, that, dig!"

They reached the end of the line as Mz. Ruby unleashes a blast of dark magic, so Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel managed to dodge it. Kairi unleashed a barrage of her blizzard spells. The voodoo gator refused to stay down, so she swung her tail at them, so they dodged. Sora, Kairi, and Sly gave Mz. Ruby one smack of their weapons, making her fall right on her stomach.
"You've certainly got some rhythm furballs and raccoon,but it won't help none if you're fixing to go after the Panda King. He's tough with a capital T. If you go poking around his stronghold in China, you're likely to get poked back," Mz. Ruby said.
"Yeah, well if he's anything like the rest of you, I think we'll manage," Sly said.
"Look on the bright side, Mz Ruby, now you'll finally have some new friends in jail," Kairi said.
"Also you're going to see your old pals of the fiendish five there. Tell Raleigh and Muggshot we said hi," Sora said in a mocking tone.
"You… Little brats! Uaaagh," Mz Ruby groaned, going unconscious.
"Oh yeah Mz. Ruby is down. Sora, Kairi, Pikachu, and Angel you know the drill," Sly said.
"You got it, Sly," Sora and Kairi said, saluting the raccoon.
"Pika!" Pikachu said.
"Vee!" Angel said.

They separated once more and once again didn't find the Keyhole.
"Darn it, no Keyhole here either," Sora said.
"Don't worry, Sora, we'll find the Keyhole of this world and save the people even if we need to travel around this world to find it," Kairi said.

Sly appears to them with another sections of the book.
"So anything yet?" Sly asked.
"Sorry, Sly, no Keyhole yet. But we're not giving up," Kairi said.

Not to mention it was him who created the Thievus Raccoonus," Sly said.
"Oh my so this is the Cooper who created the thief legacy not to mention the book. No wonder you wanted it so bad," Kairi said.
"And also with a invisibility technique. That Cooper must have been a genius I bet it would be amazing seeing him with an Inteleon and a Kecleon," Sora said.
"Well, guys, time to go our next target is Panda King we better prepare for anything that big guy can throw at us," Sly said.
And so Sora, Kairi, Sly, Pikachu, and Angel returned started to exit the swamp of Mz. Ruby.
