In space, a large ship with a set of X-wings is seen flying; the ship has two cannons, which from the looks of it are the ship's only weapons.
On the bridge was the one and only Fox Mcloud.
Along with him was Slippy Frog, who was currently working on their robot friend Rob64, and Peppy Hare, who was currently working on star maps.
In the background, an antique jukebox was playing.
"Man, I'm wondering how long the Great Fox has left before she'll have to be dry docked?" Fox thought the ship's wide PA system had broken last week.
"so Slippy "How is Rob coming along?" Peppy questioned.
"I'm done; that should be it." ROB. All fixed." the green toad said as he closed the robot's back.
Slippy backs up a little as Rob turns on.
Rob starts up as he stands up.
"Affirmative, I'll get back to work," Rob said as he tested his hand.
"hey, Fox! "Isn't this music getting on your nerves?" Peppy questioned.
"OK, old timer. Turn it down. Slippy!" Fox told his best friend.
Instead of getting up, Skippy simply tosses his wrench at the jukebox, causing it to mess up.
Both the buck and toad gave the toad an evil eye, and then the Great Fox's long-range communication system started to beep.
'Oh! Please don't let it be Fara or Lucy. Fox thought as Peppy pushed the "answer" icon.
To Fox's relief, it was actually General Pepper.
"Thank you forces of the universe!" Fox thought.
"Slippy! It's General Pepper!" Fox said while he looked at the holographic head of the bloodhound general.
"General Pepper is here." "I have a new mission for you, Fox." General Pepper said
"You are approaching Dinosaur Planet, an ancient world on the edge of the Lylat system." General Pepper told the team leader.
The hologram changes to show the planet in question.
"As you see chunks of the planet being tossed from its surface, it's your job to get them back." He said as the hologram switched back to him.
"It's your job to get them back!" If Dinosaur Planet explodes, it could affect the entire Lylat system! "The only lead we have is that you must locate the Queen of the EarthWalker dinosaur tribe; maybe she can help you further." General Pepper told the troop.
"By the way, your fee has been approved, and if you are successful, the money will be forwarded to you immediately." Pepper out." He said this before the hologram turned off.
'I better leave before-' Fox thought before another holographic image of a light purple furred with light pink hair that is in a short pixie crop popped up.
"Hello Fox," she said.
"Hey Lucy." Fox waved to his childhood friend and sweetheart.
"Forces of the universe, you can be real jerks at times," he thought.
"So far, Fox, no calls, no letters. I'm starting to think that you were avoiding me." Lucy said in mock hurt.
"No, I wasn't avoiding you, isn't that right, Slippy and Peppy?" Fox asked his teammates, but he didn't hear anything. Fox turned his head to look at the pair.
"Sorry, we're not in right now. Please leave a message." Slippy's and Peppy's voices were heard while they were not in the room.
'Traitors.' He thought.
Then another holographic image shows up; this time it's a brown-furred fennec vixen.
"Uh oh," Fox thought.
"Hello Fox," the vixen said.
"Hello there, Fara," Fox replied.
"Oh! "Look, it's the rich witch of the Lylat system." Lucy insulted.
"Oh! "Look it's the daddy's girl." Fara said.
This is what I was trying to avoid. Fox thought as the two girls started fighting one another.
"Can you two stop fighting, please?" Fox said.
The two females stopped and looked back at their tod.
"Great, I just drew their attention back to me," he thought nervously.
"I'm sorry I hadn't been staying in touch with either one of you two, but since our run-in with Kat's team and Falco leaving the team, it's been hard to find a job. You'd think since the Lylat wars are over it would be easy, but it wasn't." Fox told them.
While Fara has a guilty look, Lucy has a look of worry at the mention of Kat's name.
"Sorry Fox "It's just that you hadn't called in so long that we got worried." Fara said.
"Same here, but the other reason I called is because Kat and her team had been arrested." Lucy told Fox.
"Really?" Fox asked in surprise.
"Yes, from what Kat told me, Kool led them into a warehouse where the Cornerian army kept some of Andross' more dangerous prototype devices before his banishment when guards tried to stop them. Kool killed one of them, and Kat stopped the others from shooting the other guard. Lucy told Todd.
"I see what will happen to them now." Fox questioned.
"Kat was able to save herself, but she has a court order to join the Cornerian Military Academy; the rest are looking at life in prison." Lucy answered.
"I see well, at least she's getting a second chance." Fox said.
"And she won't have to be in the academy for too long." Fara added.
"True, by the way, is she still chasing after Falco?" Fox questioned.
"No, she knows that Falco changed because of you, the team, and the Lylat wars." Lucy answered.
"Well, at least Falco won't complain about it anymore." Fox said.
"I can't believe it took being arrested to help her realize how much Falco had changed while she stayed the same." Fara added.
"Yeah, well, Falco probably didn't help with that." Fox said.
"Fox, your Arwing is ready to launch." ROB said through the now-repaired PA system.
"Thanks, Rob," Fox said.
"You have a new mission?" Fara questioned.
"Yes, and you both know I can't give details about the mission." Fox remembered them.
"True, but be careful; you always seem to get into trouble." Lucy said.
"I will, and I love you both." Fox told the females with a loving smile.
"We love you too." Both girls said this before the hologram turned off.
"I still can't believe you somehow got those two to agree to share you." Peppy said as he reentered the bridge.
"Trust me, Peppy, I was just as surprised. Also, thanks for wimping out on me." Fox said with a glare.
"First, my daughter takes after her mother when it comes to cat fights; second, only a fool would allow themselves to be dragged into a cat fight; and third, don't you have a mission to do?" Peppy listed.
"Right, I'm off," Fox said.
Once Fox leaves the bridge for the hanger, Slippy came back.
"Want to double our bet, Peppy?" the green toad questioned.
"Why not?" Peppy said.
"Just make sure you don't cry too much when Fox asks Fara to marry him." Slippy said while going to his area of the bridge.
"Not if he asks Lucy first." Peppy said.
"You guys do know that the communications are on and I can hear everything you're saying, right?" Fox questioned the recently fixed communications.
"Well, Fox, you are nearing the same age as your father was when he proposed to your mother." Peppy told Fox over the comms.
"So we're not going to talk about how you and Slippy made a bet about who I'd proposed to first?" Fox questioned.
"It's more about you choosing one or the other or marrying both." Peppy answered.
"That's not the point. I don't want you guys making bets on my personal life." Fox said.
"Remind me again. Didn't you and Lucy, at the age of seven, make a bet on whether I would remember my and Vivian's wedding anniversary?" Peppy countered.
"We were kids, duh," Fox said.
"Just focus on your mission, Fox." Peppy told the young boy.
"Right, I'm heading out." Fox said.
a few minutes later.
"I can't believe General Pepper forgot to give me the codes for the dinosaur planet's defense system!" Fox thought as he blasted another drone before it could hit his Arwing.
A few hours later, all of the drones were destroyed.
Fox's Arwing landed in front of an ancient ruin.
"Alright, let's see what's going on." Fox said.
Then a small device flew out of the fighter.
"Alright, first I'll scan my surroundings." Fox said.
Then the holographic image of General Pepper came from the device.
"I'm sorry, Fox, but this mission needs you to go low tech, which means no drones, no firearms, no grenades, grappling hooks, not even your personal devices, and no Arwing! "You are only allowed this small communication drone." General Pepper told Fox
"Great, this'll be fun." Fox said with a sigh.
"Listen, the dinosaurs are just starting out as a civilization, and you can't leave too big of an impact." General Pepper said
"Slippy is programming a translator program for your communications," General Pepper told Fox.
"Right," Fox said.
"Until it's ready, Slippy will translate for you." General Pepper said
"Okay, general," Fox said.
After the holographic image was shut off, Fox decided to scout out the area.
"Alright, time to explore." He said.
Fox started to walk.
"Man, this place is dense," Fox commented.
Fox keeps walking while unaware that a group of Sharpclaw soldiers is near and searching for something.
"Kxuk shoukiho kxuk nuj nakx kxo Vixen aj xoho jemonxoho. (That creature that was with the Vixen is here somewhere.)" One Sharpclaw said.
"Te 0ei wi0j bden nx0 no uho xoho?"(Do you guys know why we are here?)" A heavy rounded orange scaled Sharpclaw soldier asked..
"Edo ev cavo'j whouk m0jkohaoj ajd'k ak? Nx0 uho no xoho? A moud, uho no kxo fhetisk ev jemo sejmas seadsatodso? Eh aj kxoho houcc0 u God, nuksxadw oloh0kxadw. 0ei bden, nakx u fcud veh ij udt jkivv. A ted'k bden mud, rik ak boofj mo if uk dawxk. (One of life's great mysteries isn't it? Why are we here? I mean, are we the product of some cosmic coincidence? Or is there really a God, watching everything. You know, with a plan for us and stuff. I don't know man, but it keeps me up at night.)" A Sharpclaw wearing maroon armor said.
"Nxuk!? de A moudk nx0 uho no xoho khusbadw kxaj kxadw jxeictd'k u JxutenXidkoh ro rokkoh sxeaso kxud ij?" (What!? no I meant why are we here tracking this thing shouldn't a ShadowHunter be better choice than us?) the orange Sharpclaw said while the rest of their group give the two a "Really?" look.
"Ex, hawxk. (Oh, right.)" The maroon Sharpclaw said.
"Av no mubo ak eik ucalo kxod no sud kucb ureik kxo whouk m0jkoh0 ev cavo." (If we make it out alive then we can talk about the great mystery of life.) the orange Sharpclaw told maroon armor Sharpclaw.
"Bo0 neht aj av uvkoh nxuk A xouht kxaj medjkoh sud bacc edo ev ij nakx u jadwco fidsx!" (Key word is if after what I heard this monster can kill one of us with a single punch!) an Aqua scaled Sharpclaw said.
"giak nxadadw rcio A'm jiho no sud kubo kxaj kxadw ed. (Oh quit whining blue I'm sure we can take this thing on.) A red armored Sharpclaw said.
"Uho 0ei shuq0!? vhem nxuk A xouht kxuk kxadw seict jimmed cawxkdadw udt ijo ak uj u noufed!" (Are you crazy!? from what I heard that thing could summon lightning and use it as a weapon!) a sky blue scaled Sharpclaw soldier said.
"Ex semo ed, kxuk nuj fherurc0 zijk u himeh kxo donrao scud momrohj muto if ke uleat nehb.(Oh come on, that was probably just a rumor the newbie clan members made up to avoid work.)" The maroon Sharpclaw said.
"De! ak'j khio Wodhuc Jsucoj wok kxuk jsuh xo seloh if nakx kxuk mokuc mujb ev xaj vhem kxuk medjkoh!" (No! it's true Genral Scales got that scar he covered up with that metal mask of his from that monster!) a purple armor Sharpclaw soldier added.
"Semo ed av ak noho houcc0 kxuk tudwoheij neictd'k ak xulo tojkhe0ot eih scud r0 den? (Come on if it were really that dangerous wouldn't it have destroyed our clan by now?)" The red Sharpclaw questioned.
"Nocc je vuh ak edc0 ukkusbot eih jectaohj, nakx nxuk xuffod ke kxuk lapod ak mawxk zijk te kxuk!" (Well so far it only attacked our soldiers, with what happen to that vixen it might just do that!) the aqua scaled Sharpclaw said.
"Ex 0ei'ho zijk ifjok kxuk kxo Wodohuc homelot 0ei vhem Wiuhtadw kxo Lapod. (Oh you're just upset that the General removed you from Guarding the Vixen.)" The blue Sharpclaw said.
"Nxaco ak'j ud ouj0 zer kxaj aj meho amfehkudk uvkoh ucc eih rocelot coutoh xulo eih rojk nuhhaehj wiuhtadw kxuk lapod." (While it's an easy job this is more important after all our beloved leader have our best warriors guarding that vixen.) the aqua scaled Sharpclaw said in a very optimistic tone of voice.
"Ud0edo ocjo wokkadw udde0ot nakx xaj efkamajkas ukkakito? (Anyone else getting annoyed with his optimistic attitude?)" The orange Sharpclaw questioned.
"Nx0 te 0ei kxadb Wodohuc Jsucoj jodk xam eik xoho ke jouhsx veh kxuk medjkoh?" (Why do you think General Scales sent him out here to search for that monster?) the red armor Sharpclaw soldier question back
"Jfoubadw ev te 0ei kxadb kxuk medjkoh nuj kxo Vixen 'j fok? (Speaking of do you think that monster was the Vixen 's pet?)" The orange Sharpclaw questioned.
"A kxadb ak nuj xoh muko kxuk nuj sihjot r0 u naksx teskeh." (I think it was her mate that was cursed by a witch doctor.) the maroon Sharpclaw said
"A kxadb ak'j fherurc0 dek vhem kxaj fcudok (I think it's probably not from this planet.)" The red Sharpclaw said.
"Doakxoh aj kxo lapod! A moud xulo ud0 ev 0ei xouht eh joom udekxoh rcio vep rojatoj kxo lapod?" (Neither is the vixen! I mean have any of you heard or seem another blue fox besides the vixen?) the sky blue Sharpclaw added.
"Khio (True.)" The maroon Sharpclaw said.
The group went quiet as the words make them realize the meaning of those words, while their target was using his abilities to search for the vixen's staff
'it should be close.' Their target thought
'But thanks to the lightning from that from storm the aura on it is acting like the planet's' he thought
He then senses a presence.
'Wait this presence almost feels like Krystal's but different.' Ash thought
Curious he decides to investigate.
"They make going through a jungle seem easy in the movies." Fox said tiredly
Suddenly he heard rustling.
Fox tried to reach for his handgun but stop his hand.
'That's right I can't use my firearm.' Fox thought
What comes out of the bushes shocks him.
Fox quickly hides as a Sharpclaw soldier head popped out.
After an hour the Sharpclaw left.
'Well Falco may try his luck in hand-to-hand combat with these guys but I'm not that foolish.' Fox thought.
Suddenly he sees something on the ground.
'What's this?' Fox thought as he reach out to grab the item.
Before he could grab it he was tackled to the ground.
Fox and his attacker roll around for a few seconds.
After a minute of rolling around Fox's attacker had him pinned to a tree with a knife at his neck.
Fox's attacker was the Sharpclaw soldier he thought had left.
"Nocc ceeb uk nxuk A xulo xoho! A rok Wodohuc Jsucoj nacc walo mo u daso honuht veh rhadw ad 0eih fock ke xam!" (Well look at what I have here! I bet General Scales will give me a nice reward for bringing your pelt to him!) the Sharpclaw said.
I don't know what you just said but I'm just going to assume it was a threat." Fox said.
The Sharpclaw add more pressure to the knife.
Before it could slit his throat the Sharpclaw was thrown off of him
Fox quickly ran towards the item he saw.
He quickly grabs it before hearing a voice.
'Av 0ei uho hosoaladw kxaj mojjuwo, kxod A um ad whouk tudwoh! Kxo Jkuvv 0ei xect ad 0eih xudtj aj u fenohvic noufed 0ei mijk couhd ke ijo ak najoc0. The Staff you hold in your hands is a powerful weapon you must learn to use it wisely. It will give you guidance to when it's powers can be used.) a female voice told him in his head.
"Where did that voice come from?" Fox questioned.
'M0 Jkuvv'j muad ijo aj ad semruk udt ad kamo 0eih jbaccj mu0 when. Kh0 tavvohodk uskaedj ke idcoujx akj fenohvic ukkusbj.' (My Staff's main use is in combat and in time your skills may grow. Try different actions to unleash its powerful attacks.) the voice went on.
"I don't understand a word that voice said but I'm just going to assume she told me to try fighting with the staff." Fox said.
With Ash.
'Just my luck as soon get with in twenty feet near what I sensed I get attacked by Sharpclaw soldiers!' Ash thought as he sends the orange scaled Sharpclaw's head flying with a punch.
"Uxxx! Kxo Mewcdob aj baccadw ij! (Ahhh! The Monster is killing us!)" The maroon Sharpclaw said in a panic.
"0oux! nakx akj xudtj de cawxkdadw joo ak nuj zijk himehj kect 0u!" (Yeah! with its hands no lightning see it was just rumors told ya!) the red Sharpclaw told the maroon one
Suddenly Ash electricutes the aqua Sharpclaw with a thunderbolt.
"0ei noho ju0adw jah?" (You were saying sir?) the maroon one said with fear in his tone
"A kxadb ak mawxk ro u weet kamo ke xawx kuac ak eik ev xoho. ("I think it might be a good time to high tail it out of here.)" The red Sharpclaw said.
Not hearing a reply from his fellow soldier, the red Sharp look to see the other one already tried to run away from the area, but their target then launched a ball of lightning at the retreating Sharpclaw soldier.
"A'm dek wokkadw eik ev kxaj ucalo um A? (I'm not getting out of this alive am I?)" He questioned.
He's answered came in the form of Thunderbolt.
"Teoj That udjnoh 0eih giojkaed? (Does That answer your question?)" Ash questioned sarcastically.
Back with Fox and his fight.
thanks to his academy training Fox knew how to use a bo staff while the instructor didn't train him and his class to be martial artists just to know how to use one just in case, however the sounds and smells from Ash's fight didn't help with Fox's focus.
'What type of weird weather does this planet have?' Fox thought as he blocked a blow from the Sharpclaw soldier.
Back with Ash after defeating the Sharpclaw soldiers the sound of fighting caught his attention.
"Sounds like someone is in trouble." Ash said.
Ash rushed towards the sounds of fighting.
Back with Fox he started to get tired.
'Is this lizard a robot or something?' Fox thought.
Before the Sharpclaw could attack further it was electrocuted.
'What the heck?!' Fox thought as he holds the staff close to himself.
Then the body of the electrocuted Sharpclaw falls down to show an ape like creature with sparks of electrical energy dancing around its right arm.
'Are you a Cerinian?' Ash asked in thought to see if the male fox in front of him is a member of Krystal's race.
"Who are you? and why are you staring at me like that?" Fox questioned.
"Oh, wait you most likely don't understand me." Fox said.
"Actually, I do understand you and as for my reason for staring is because I thought you were a Cerinian but I was wrong." Ash told Fox.
"What's a Cerinian?" Fox said a little surprised that this creature can understand him.
"The Cerinians are foxes like you but are blue and white while having psychic abilities." Ash answered.
"I see." Fox said.
"Now for my questions who are you? what are you here on Sauria?" Ash questioned.
"my name is Fox Mcloud and I'm here on a mission to stop this planet's destruction." Fox said.
"I see and where were you heading?" Ash questioned.
"To find the Queen of the Earthwalker tribe." Fox said.
"Then why are you walking away from her home?" Ash questioned.
"The way you came from is where the Queen of the Earthwalker's tribal palace is at, what did you think that most of the Dinosaurs on Sauria just keep building buildings as a way of life that's stupid?" Ash told Fox with pointing to where Fox came from.
"you mean to tell me that I just walked past where I was supposed to go?" Fox questioned in frustration.
"Yep." Ash simply replied.
Fox lets out a frustrated groan before facepalming.
'Man this guy must have something on his mind ' Ash thought.
"btw it's just a guess but you've never fought with a staff before have you?" Ash questioned.
"I had back in the academy but throughout..." Fox was cut off as the staff fire an energy blast from its top gemstone.
"You didn't even know it could do that did you?" Ash questioned.
"No! what type of person would have a staff that can fire off energy!?" Fox said shock at the fact the weapon in his hands could fire anything.
"A friend of mine who owns that staff." Ash said.
"Okay that's it! you better tell me everything about you and your friend or else!" Fox ordered while pointed the staff at Ash.
Only for the staff to switch to standby mode.
The todd then tried to make the staff change back but every time it was pointed at Ash it went back to standby mode.
"Yeah, Cerinian weapons take on some of their owner's characteristics just as not attacking the innocent or friends." Ash told Fox
"so I can't blast you with it?" Fox questioned.
"Yep." Ash answered.
"great but I still need to know who this friend of yours is." Fox said.
"I'll tell you on the way to the Queen of the Earthwalker tribe's palace." Ash said.
"alright then." Fox said.
As the two walk Ash told Fox everything from his ancestors making an alliance with Krystal's ancestors, his Pokemon journey, how he and Krystal got to Sauria, his Aura training and what happen a few days ago, once they reach where Fox had landed his Arwing.
"wow what a story." Fox said.
"That's my life so far, but from your reaction when I said the name Andross you must have had some bad history with him?" Ash questioned.
"you have no idea." Fox said.
"Well remember Krystal might be the only survivor of Cerinia which means she lost more to Andross than anyone, so what did he take from you?" Ash questioned.
"He took my family." Fox said.
"I see." Ash said.
Then Fox notice his Arwing and the ruins.
"Great I landed next to where I needed to go and I didn't even see it." Fox said.
Yeah, the Dinosaurs around here aren't great at yard work or farming, and I hope you're not wearing your favorite pair of boots." Ash said as the two walk towards the ruins.
"Why are my boots important?" Fox questioned.
"No but unlike the Dinosaurs whom walk on to legs the dinosaurs here doesn't fully clean up after themselves, if you catch my meaning." Ash answered.
"Oh." Fox said.
While Ash had no problem reaching the front of the palace, but Fox walked like if he was in a minefield.
'Heh, this guy is funny.' Ash thought.
"By the way you never told me your name." Fox said as he reach the opening.
"It's Ash ketchum." Ash said.
The duo walks through the opening they could see the inside was better kept than the outside, once they reach what they believe should be the throne room.
"Queen Earthwalker are you here?" Ash questioned.
They heard a soft groan.
They turned to the direction of the noise.
They turn their heads to see a dinosaur with a headdress laying down.
"0eih muzojk0! (Your majesty!)" Ash said before rushing to the Dinosaur's side.
"Nxe 0ei uho kne?" (Who you are two?) the dinosaur questioned.
"A'm Ujx Boksxim udt xo'j Vep Msceit (I'm Ash Ketchum and he's Fox Mcloud.)" Ash said as he helped her to her feet.
"Ujx! A xut xouht ev 0ei, rik A doloh xouht ev kxaj Vep MsSceit." (Ash! I had heard of you, but I never heard of this Fox McCloud.) the Dinosaur said.
"Xo'j dek vhem kxaj fcudok 0eih muzojk0 (He's not from this planet your majesty.)" Ash said.
"Slippy? I need some translating here." Fox said into the communication drone.
"okay Fox." Slippy said.
"0eih muzojk0 fcoujo kocc ij nxuk xuffod nxoho aj 0eih xijrudt udt Fhadso Khasb0?" (Your majesty please tell us what happen where is your husband and Prince Tricky?) Ash asked the Queen Earthwalker.
"Kxo0 baccot m0 xijrudt udt keeb m0 jed (They killed my husband and took my son.)" The Queen said.
"A'm jehh0 veh 0eih cejk, kocc ij nxoho tat kxo Jxuhfscunj keeb 0eih jed ke?" (I'm sorry for your loss, tell us where did the Sharpclaws take your son to?) Ash asked while showing the Queen he meant his words.
As she tells Ash where they took her son Fox takes a look at the staff.
'How did the Cerinian make this?' Fox thought as he couldn't find no markings of a blow torch or something like it on the staff.
"Hey Fox!" Ash called out.
"Yeah!" Fox said as he was brought back to the waking world.
"Come on we need to save the Queen's son." Ash said.
"And where are we going to?" Fox questioned.
Ash shows him where they need to go.
"Here I'm going to teach you how Dinosaurs on this planet buy things." Ash said.
They went back outside the pair walk towards a rock.
"They use raw ore?" Fox asked.
Ash didn't answer as he bent down and lifted the rock, revealing bugs that looked to be a cross between a fat tick and a type of beetle.
"What the heck are those!?" Fox exclaimed in surprise.
"These are Scarabs, and the Dinosaurs use currency and come in many different values." Ash answered as he let go of the stone and grab the two Scarabs.
"I see." Fox said.
Ash walked over to Fox's Arwing.
"Is this This your ship?" Ash questioned.
"It's my fighter, but I do have a mothership but it the person who hired me didn't want me to land it on the planet." Fox answered.
"Let me guess it's because this planet is too primitive for that." Ash said.
"Yep." Fox said.
"Do you have backpacks in there?" Ash questioned.
"Yeah." Fox said.
"Please go get them we will need them." Ash said.
"Okay then." Fox said before getting the backpacks.
Fox checked to make sure Ash couldn't see his code.
"Not to rush but can you hurry? who knows what the Sharpclaw have planned for the Prince." Ash said.
Fox quickly entered the code when the hatch has opened enough for Fox to jump in.
"so you got the bags?" Ash questioned.
Fox tosses a military backpack out of his Arwing, Ash opens it up and puts the two Scarabs in there.
"Okay you ready?" Ash questioned.
Yeah, but why do we need the backpacks?" Fox asked back as he jump out of the Arwing.
"well first to make sure we have food and water on hand." Ash said.
"Both packs have MIEs and a few days worth of bottled water." Fox said.
"And these bags can hold the Scarabs, speaking which we need eighteen more." Ash said.
"I see btw there's something I want to ask okay well two things and it's about that Cerinian friend of yours." Fox said.
"What is it?" Ash asked as he walked over to another rock.
"When I picked up the staff I could hear a voice in my head was that her?" Fox questioned.
"Yes, Krystal had left that message in her staff in the hopes that me or a noble being would find it in the case of her being captured." Ash answered as the two gathered more Scarabs.
"I see and what's she like?" Fox questioned.
"Krystal is very kind, helpful and caring, and she is very friendly and supportive towards her friends and allies. She is also somewhat tomboyish, as well as carefree and brave, often helping anyone in need. While she can sometimes come across as a tad stubborn and strong-willed." Ash told the fox as he smiles remembering his time with the Cerinian vixen.
'I could see how the Aura Guardians of the past had fallen for a Cerinian fox.' Ash thought to himself
"sounds like you care for her a lot." Fox said.
Ash's eyes widen as he then realizes he had fallen in love with Krystal.
"I do, but what about you do you have a girl you care about?" Ash questioned.
"actually I have two." Fox said.
Ash stopped and looked at Fox shock clearly written on his face
"Two!? how did that happen? and who are they?" Ash questioned.
"well they're Fara Phoenix and Lucy Hare and it was actually their idea but I'm not complaining." Fox said.
"Really? which one of them did you know the longest?" Ash questioned.
"Lucy and I'm surprised that that you're not freaking out about the fact that I have 2 girlfriends." Fox said.
"My first rival had his only cheerleading team, and most were older than us thanks, to my mom watching those cheesy soap operas I could tell more were going but things went badly for himself turns out they went only with him beside of the money his parents had left him which his sister cut him off from it, and love is love as long they truly love you that's all that matters." Ash told Fox.
"How do you and Lucy meet?" Ash questioned.
"we met as kids." Fox said.
"So, you and she were childhood friends turn lovers?" Ash questioned.
"Yep." Fox replied.
"And from your aura Lucy loves to cuddle mainly when you both could be face to face or like I thought you have a knot." Ash said.
Fox blushes furiously at that.
"Ah it's the second with a bit of the first." Ash said as he wished he have a phone or a camera so he could take a picture of Fox's reaction.
But unknown to the both of them the drone did just that.
"So, which age did you two did the deed?" Ash question as he finally sees why Misty did it to Brock when they were at the hidden village.
"I don't know how that's any of your business." Fox said.
"It's not I just want to sees your reaction and from how your aura is acting it was around when you both were fifteen." Ash said.
Fox's blush intensifies.
"While it's not normal to you most Pokemon Trainers lose their V-cards in their second year as Trainers." Ash told Fox.
"Really?" Fox questioned.
"Yes, given that everyone started their Pokemon Journey at the age of ten so it's natural for some of us to lose our V-cards or somehow end up getting married." Ash answered as he grabbed the sixth Scarab.
"Wow." Fox said.
"Yeah, my planet is a bit different." Ash said as he lifted up another rock.
"I see and you say you have Pokemon?" Fox questioned.
"Yes, but I don't have any on me." Ash answered
"I see and what is the relationship between trainer and Pokemon?" Fox questioned.
"There are multiple types of relationships between trainer and Pokemon, the first is the common one where trainers trained and catch Pokemon so they can compete against one other in either battles, contests or showcases and to win, the second is jobs some Trainers and Pokemon are team in many different fields from Law enforce to taxi rides, the third is owner and pet but that one will only allow the person to have only Pokemon, the final one is a romantic relationship give that the trainer are a ten year old leaving home to journey the world if they want and the odds of finding someone to travel with is low most trainers end up being in a romantic relationship with one if not a few of their Pokemon." Ash answered as he grabbed his final Scarab
"Wait you can be romantically involved with a Pokemon?" Fox questioned.
"Yes, and did you not hear me when I was talking the legendary Pokemon? or the one with telepathic abilities?" Ash question back
"Oh I heard you and believe me I do have questions about that I'm just stuck on the romance part." Fox said.
"Pokemon are somewhat sentient life forms and it's not against the law well it is but only in Unova." Ash said
"I see so back to the telepathy thing." Fox said.
"I don't know how some of them have when none of them are psychic type, but like Krystal they could use that ability to talk with human." Ash said.
"I see and what's a legendary?" Fox questioned.
"Legendaries are powerful and rare Pokemon they have abilities that no other Pokemon have while some go wherever they like others stay in places they need them, much are older than planets themselves." Ash answered.
"I see you must have run across a few." Fox said.
"I almost met all of them." Said.
"Yikes that must have been scary." Fox said.
"A bit but after the seventh run in it became like a 'oh it's Tuesday' type of thing." Ash said.
"Wow so how powerful are they?" Fox questioned.
"The top three can control time, space and everything else." Ash answered.
"Yikes." Fox said.
"Well, the Pokedex says in mythologies as the Arceus that shaped the universe with its 1,000 arms and he was the first Pokémon born before the universe even existed." Ash said.
"Whoa." Fox said.
"And he could easily take out Dialga, Palkia and Giratina without have all of his Plates." Ash said
"Yikes and what other legendary Pokemon are there?" Fox questioned.
Ash told Fox about the legendary Pokemon their roles, their abilities and how he meets them.
"Wow." Fox said.
"Yeah, those were some wild adventures, have you gotten ten Scarabs yet?" Ash questioned.
"Yeah." Fox said.
"Good followed me." Ash said as he started to walk towards the other side of the palace.
"So what type of shops do these guys have?" Fox questioned.
"So far very few given these guys isn't evolved like us." Ash answered
"I see." Fox said.
The two walked to an entrance of a different building, they walk through what seems like a never endless hallway.
"Wow that's a long hallway." Fox said.
"You think that was something just wait." Ash said
"Wait? for wha..." Fox tried to say as a SharpClaw like Dinosaur show up without making a sound, but it doesn't have legs, and thus he floats like a ghost. His mutterings about how long he has staying in business suggests his age and ability to float and teleport makes him seem even more like a ghost. He wears purple and gold garments with a plumed cowl and wears a Scarab shaped pendant, which acts like a ticker-tape price tag.
"Uh..." Fox said unable to speak causing Ash to chuckle.
"Ah Mr. Ash it's so good to see you again and who is this?" the strange Dinosaur questioned.
"His name Fox Mcloud and he's new here." Ash said.
"Hello there, you may call me Shopkeeper." the now named Shopkeeper said
"It's nice to meet you." Fox said.
"Fox, I need to see what Scarabs you grabbed." Ash said while he and Fox move away from Shopkeeper.
"Okay." Fox said.
Ash looks in Fox's backpack and saw while Fox did catch five green Scarabs, but the rest were orange.
"I see." Ash said.
Ash walked over to the Shopkeeper.
"Can you please bring us any rock-candy, maps of areas around the Ice Mountain and I know for a fact you have Prince Tricky's ball." Ash asked the weird Dinosaur.
"Very well." the Dinosaur said.
When the strange Dino leave the room Fox gives the lone human a confuse look.
"Rock-candy and the prince's ball?" Fox questioned.
"They're important." Ash said.
The shopkeeper returns with said items.
"Here are the items you asked for it will come to 40 Scarabs." Shopkeeper told them as its Scarab shaped pendant opens to show them the number.
"How about 32 Scarabs and you throw in some Bomb Spores?" Ash tries to bargain with the shopkeeper before Fox says something or shows the dino the Scarabs he had grab.
"Hmm a tempting offer." The Shopkeeper said.
"And I won't tell the Queen of the Earthwalker Tribe about how you were able to steal her son's ball." Ash added.
"You have yourself a deal." The Shopkeeper said.
The Shopkeeper then grabbed a small pouch from a shelf, Fox looks at the stuff he and Ash just bought while said human hands over three orange Scarabs and two green Scarabs to Shopkeeper the item that catch his attention is a geode with a single ruby in it but no signs of any rock-candy.
"Where are the rock-candy?" Fox questioned.
"It's right there." Ash said as he pointed to the geode.
"That's rock-candy?" Fox questioned.
"Yes, oh you thought I meant the normal rock-candy?" Ash questioned.
"yeah." Fox said.
"Sorry about that but this 'rock-candy' isn't made out of sugar we need it for the Warpstone." Ash said while handing Fox the paper maps.
"ah but then why call it rock-candy?" Fox questioned.
"Wait until we go see the Warpstone and aren't you going to scan the maps?" Ash questioned as he put the two none-paper items into the backpack.
"oh right." Fox said.
Fox had the drone scan the maps.
"Okay done." Fox said.
Ash tosses the paper copies in his backpack, once they reach the outside the duo walk towards the other side of the Earthwalker palace.
"Alright this will be an adventure." Ash said.
Can they save both Krystal and all of Sauria? Or will the Sharpclaw prevail? Tune in next time to find out.
