Jack stopped at a casino where a contest to name a model representing the Caribbean is being broadcast for the Christmas season, Jack goes unnoticed and gets into a van, he notices that one of the judges is Tom Bombadil.

Jack Sparrow: "Look, he's my old friend."

Jack tries to use the signal, but is discovered by the owner of the van, a pirate by the name of Scrum.

Scrum: "Excuse me sir, you can't...".

Seeing that he is Sparrow, Scrum gets so excited that he almost screams in excitement.

Scrum: "Jack Sparrow is in my truck!...sorry, Captain Jack Sparrow is in my truck!"

Jack Sparrow: "Keep your voice down, partner."

Scrum: "I knew, I knew you were still alive."

Jack Sparrow: "Great, now come in mate."

Scrum walks in and closes the doors, he's really excited to meet Jack.

Scrum: "Let me tell you, Captain, that I am your biggest fan."

Jack Sparrow: "A question, mate, is this truck yours alone or do you work with someone?"

Scrum: "Just you, me and no one else around us."

Jack Sparrow: "Your name, sailor."

Scrum: "Scrum, Captain."

Scrum shakes Jack's hand, he doesn't want to let go.

Jack Sparrow: "Okay, enough."

Scrum: "I want to tell you, I tried to base my look on your image, Captain, but the dreadlocks didn't fit me and my mustache and beard didn't grow as I wanted."

Jack Sparrow: "Don't worry."

Scrum: "So in compensation, I don't want to make you uncomfortable, but look."

Scrum shows him that he got a tattoo on his arm, the tattoo is a portrait of Jack Sparrow's face.

Jack Sparrow: "Johnny Depp in times of crisis...oh, excuse me, is it me?"

Scrum: "Yes, of course it doesn't have the quality of a photo, the thing is that I made a doll and they copied it from there...".

Jack interrupts Scrum.

Jack Sparrow: "My dear Scrum, I know you are very excited, and I am too, because now I am chasing some villains, I am trying to obtain information from some encrypted files, but I lack energy, if you could go up to the roof, recalibrate the digital network and raise the power to 40%, I would appreciate it very much, can you handle this sailor?

Scrum does what Jack asked him to do, once the power is increased, Jack accesses from the computer with Will's account... to the M.A.D site... there he sees some video files, plays one that involves...! Cheung Po Tsai!...as well as Rebecca Reid, the woman Jack had a fight with recently, Jack notices two things, that they both had some kind of disability...and that Norrington was interviewing them!... Cheung had a severely fractured spine and Rebecca was missing her left arm.

Jack Sparrow: "I knew it."

Norrington mentions something about 'controlling addiction' and whoever can't, will leave the show. Jack plays another video where Norrington says a few words to the disabled.

James Norrington (Video): "They were called, misfits, invalids, now they are the next step in human evolution."

Jack then checks the one that says 'Transformium tests; Phase 1.

Which is where the disabled volunteers will be subjected to the Transformium.

James Norrington (Video): "Before we begin, I can promise you that when you think about your life there will be nothing more bitter than the memory of that glorious risk that you prudently decided to reject, today you achieve glory... and let's begin."

Jack watches as the Transformium takes effect on Cheung, Rebecca and another volunteer, while the first two regenerate their disabilities (for example, Rebecca's left arm is regenerated), the third volunteer becomes unstable and unable to withstand the Transformium.

James Norrington (Video): "Damn it, evacuation!...quick, we have to get out of here."

Norrington evacuates everyone, before the third volunteer explodes, Jack now understands everything.

Jack Sparrow: "A bomb is not a bomb when it is a failure then, sometimes when you plan one thing you get a different one, and that gave you a buyer, you sold it to Blackbeard."

Jack has figured it out.

Jack Sparrow: "Scoundrel Commodore".
