Hey, guys. BD is back with another installment of 'Drunken Kisses in the Rice Rain.' After over two years of hiatus, I am back with the story. In this chapter, Izuku is still processing the realization that he has married a stranger. Next, Izuku recalls the events that led him to meet Yang. Finally, once Izuku receives clarity, he is met with another stigma. What tails will ensue these teens? Read and see! This is an OOC Yang x OOC Izuku love story. Enjoy!
Izuku's face was redder than a sweet potato on a cool November morning. Speechless wouldn't be the right choice of word to describe the embarrassment as well as the public display of affection that was occurring at this particular juncture.
"Say ahh, sweetie…I mean, darling!" The blonde was in all smiles. One would think she was a blushing bride on a honeymoon. Others would think she was romantically in awe of this boy. Who was to say which of those was true.
He opened his mouth as he took in the sugary goodness. The taste of cinnamon, vanilla, and syrup impacted his taste buds. His compliments to the chef, his detriments to the pit of his stomach.
"Take another." She said as she fed him another bite. She scooted closer to him, narrowing the distance. He gauged the room, noticing the disapproval of the elders. PDA was a big issue in this country, so it went without saying that she was definitely a westerner.
According to his wife, her friends were on their way as they got an early start shopping. Weiss made arrangements at Yanagi's Games and Grub since she and her family had connections with Reiko's cousin. Ruby was in charge of desserts. Blake was purchasing a hope chest for the newlyweds. Thankfully, the emerald teen also had reinforcements. Ochako and the girls were going to meet with Weiss to help decorate. Fumikage and Shouto were meeting with Blake to help transport the hope chest. His other classmates were getting gifts, bringing snacks, and the like.
"Have to say. This is exciting." Yang said as she got herself a bite, using the same fork.
The teen began to blush. "Indirect kiss!" Before he could respond, he sneezed. It sounded like a baby chick.
The men nearby his table began snickering at him while the girls were grabbing their chest, wanting to melt from hearing that cute noise.
"Are you okay, Izuku?"
Izuku turned to see Yang leaning over him. From his position, her breasts looked like mountains. "Are you okay, darling?"
Izuku didn't reply, only nodding instead.
"Here, let me take care of that." Yang reached into her pocket and pulled out a lilac-colored handkerchief with her initials on them. She took the handkerchief and applied it to his nose.
"Blow for me," she said to him. Izuku followed her instructions and blew into the handkerchief. "There you go. Good as new!"
"Thanks, Yang!"
"No! The pleasure is all mine, I-zu-ku!"
Izuku couldn't respond. He didn't know how to respond. It was without a doubt that she had a natural maternal instinct.
Now, Izuku was tensing up at the sight of the blonde beauty that was his wife.
"Do you know what you do to me, Yang?!"
"Love me like crazy, Izuku! Whisper a love song into me."
"Do you, Izuku Midoriya, take Yang Xiao Long as your lawfully wedded wife?"
"I do!"
"And do you, Yang Xiao Long, take Izuku Midoriya as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"Till death do us part, I do!"
"I still see the shadows in my room!~ Can't take back the love that I gave you!~"
Sometime later….
Grey morning haze sipped through the blinds as childhood friend/"occasional" rival Katsuki Bakugo arrived at the hotel restaurant. To be honest, he was titillated that he was even invited. The blond would have easily crashed the newlyweds' privacy without repentance but he was just elated that Deku called him. The kid was touched.
By this time, Izuku was grateful to have that morning coffee. He wasn't sure he would like Irish coffee but according to Yang, it was a greatly recommended cure for hangovers.
She told him that she took a page from the book of Spaniards while on holiday a couple of years back – el pelo del perro.
Katsuki took a seat across from the newlyweds at the table. He didn't immediately speak. A pregnant silence filled the table while the spiky-haired blond took a moment to digest this moment. If Yang only knew that his childhood friend was gearing up and stockpiling quips, comebacks, and rebuttals.
"Garçonete!" Katsuki flagged down the waitress. Without looking at the menu, he asked the waitress for a double cheeseburger deluxe with a large side of fries and a triple chocolate milkshake. Feverishly rubbing his lips together, he kept one eye on the newlyweds and one eye on the waitress.
While this was going on, Yang whispered into Izuku's ear. "Is…is your friend always like this with people?"
"Normally on Tuesdays." A teardrop appeared on his face. He wasn't exactly ready to address his 'wife' about the proclivities of his childhood friend. He was still in disbelief as saying that it didn't exactly taste right on the tongue. It was either that or the exchange of bodily fluids during their drunken sex. Bits and pieces of last year were coming back into place. That alone churned his stomach as he grabbed the cup of Irish coffee to quell the sickness.
The spiky-haired blond handed the menu and poured himself a glass of water from the pitcher. Leaning against his seat, he remained eerily silent while slowly taking draws of water. Feeling quenched, he smacked his lips followed by a relieving sigh. "Mmm…alkaline water. Delicious! Mighty delicious."
This time, Izuku had to intervene. "C'mon, man. Jesus! It's no secret you want to make a comment." He folded his arms. "Just say it so we can move on with our lives."
Katsuki raised an eyebrow, looking surprised by Izuku's words. He touched his chest. "Izuku, I am shocked! I am appalled!" He crossed his arms as well. "Can a childhood friend just enjoy a pleasant late morning with his friend and his friend's new wife." He turned his head to the blonde. "Greetings. Bakugo! Katsuki, remember me?"
The purple-eyed woman didn't know how to respond, especially since she had the misfortune to make her acquaintance with the putz. How couldn't she not forget about him? They met the previous night at the club. His game was weaker than the seltzer water in his cup, passing it off as gin and tonic.
He was rude and annoying, never giving her a moment's rest when she tried to dance with her girlfriends. It was a blessing that one of his friends called for him or else he would have been literally blue-balled.
Nevertheless, she still called it a blessing as the silver lining appeared when seeing Izuku at the bar after needing a drink to erase that memory.
"Yeah…sure! You were the guy and um, yeah." Yang responded, grabbing her orange juice. Now, she was in the mood to grab an Irish coffee.
"A sight for sore eyes? An Adonis for your weak thighs?" Katsuki sniggered self-approvingly. He took another sip of water while turning his head at Izuku. "How's that for puns, hun?"
If people were observing this table, the atmosphere was getting cringy by the moment. Yang, once again, didn't know how to respond to this. As a woman who wasn't afraid to fight, she felt she was out of her element. Unsure it was nervousness or overcoming a hangover, she was feeling out of character. She couldn't pretend to imagine how her husband was feeling.
"Where are you going with this, Katsuki?" The emerald-haired teen didn't want to play 21 Questions. He had barely solved a couple of questions between last night and now. It was obviously apparent that Katsuki had something up his sleeve. "As a matter of fact, why are you even here? I told everyone to meet at Yanagi's Games and Grub. How did you even know I was here?"
Katsuki maintained that grin on his face. "C'mon, Deku! Don't be shy because you're a married man now. We're best friends, remember?" He stood up and walked around to the couple. He got in the middle, having his arm on each of their shoulders. "Maybe I can help you, my dear friend." He leaned to his ear. "We know each other. Our likes, our dislikes. Our fears, our passions, our desires. Passwords on social media sites."
Izuku's heart skipped a beat. However, he kept a calm composure. "What are you talking about?"
Katsuki still wore his grin. "Check your Instagram buddy." Izuku pulled his phone out of his pocket. He scrolled to his page. He read the caption. "White Girl Weekends." He bit his hand to contain the noise of shock. It displayed Izuku drunkenly filming himself dancing with Yang. Loud rap music filled the strobed-lit club with Yang clinging to Izuku's waist.
Both he and Yang watched as the music moved them like they were puppets on strings, their heads mashing so hard their brains were in shut down mode. There was so much sweat on his skin and not all of it was his. The strobe masks so many of their movements, every clap of his hands like it's on pause at different moments.
The room began spiraling once more. It wasn't only due to his hangover, more pieces were connecting.
"I'm happy with you. Please let me hear you. Those words of love from you."
The night before….
At a booth at the far end of the bar stood three other women that were entrancing and attractive as Yang. Before he had time to register his thoughts, Yang stood at the center, pointing her finger at him.
"This is Izuku. I think Izzy is better because he was quite easy to sway to join me," she said while bumping his shoulder with her elbow. "I am kidding, the jokester of the group." She cleared her throat. "This awesome wonder was planning to dart off without properly thanking me for his drink."
Instinctively, he bowed in front of the girls. His response incited laughter from the girls.
"Japanese boys are so modest, aren't they?" Yang said as she wrapped her arm around his arm.
Since I found him to be a gentleman, I decided to let him hang with us." She winked. "If it is cool with you guys."
The girl sporting the red and black hair spoke first. "I am okay with it."
The raven-haired girl with the large black bow. "I'm cool!"
The white-haired woman. "He came with you. So, you don't need my opinion."
"Then, it's settled," said Yang. She slapped his butt as he went for a seat. He sat next to the reddish, black-haired girl.
"Hmm." The redhead girl hummed as she planted her nose against his shoulder. "You smell nice. What kind of scent is that?"
"Oatmeal raisin shampoo," he confessed.
The white-haired girl turned to the black-haired girl. "Somebody's mother buys him his shampoo."
"Weiss, hush!" The redhead girl said before turning her head back to Izuku. "My name is Ruby, Ruby Rose."
"Nice to meet you," he responded as he bowed again. "Izuku Midoriya."
"Relax, sweetie. This isn't an omiai or however you guys call a marriage interview," responded Yang as she grabbed her drink. After taking a sip, she pointed to the others. "The girl that introduced herself is also my sister. The girl beside her is Blake Belladonna and the Snow Queen is—"
"Weiss Schnee. As in the heir of the Schnee Dust Company," commented the teen as she reached into her purse. "My card." She said as she slid it to him.
"Oh!" Izuku said as he grabbed the card. "And for some reason should I know this?" He didn't mean to come off as rude. He honestly didn't know who she was or the company she represented.
The white-haired woman blew a raspberry. "Typical commoners who lack variety are so pedestrian."
Ruby whispered into his ear. "Don't mind, Weiss. She can sometimes be a megabitch!"
"Duly noted," he responded. A nervous laughter came after that. He kept his cool as the last thing he wanted to look like was a spaz in front of them. To him, these girls should be walking down the runway or featured on the covers of Vogue or Harper's Bazaar. He could only picture his classmates' faces when they managed to get here.
The Harley Quinn bartender came to the table to take their orders. While still babysitting his drink as he wasn't really a drinker, he had some spare cash for the girls to enjoy themselves.
"Umm, miss. Since these girls are on vacation and celebrating her birthday," he said, pointing to Yang. "Drinks are on me!"
The girls made howling noises, music to their ears. Ruby and Yang patted his back.
"Thank you for being friendly," said Blake.
"I knew there was a gentleman somewhere," said Ruby.
"You are poorly mistaken if you are trying to get with one of us," said Weiss.
"No, no way," he retorted. "Nowhere near your league. Plus, I prefer hamburgers over steaks."
"So we are not good enough," questioned Weiss as she propped her eyebrow. "Boys have been squawking just to be acknowledged by our presence. Even a touch of our garments are enough to sate the savage beast in them. What's your problem?"
"Forgive the Snow Witch," said Yang. "She is still burnt on her last boyfriend."
"Why are you putting my news out there, Yang," questioned Weiss.
"Boyfriend was a hard ass. She was too much to handle." Yang sat back while sticking her tongue out.
Izuku feigned ignorance and remained quiet for the time being. As he waited on their drinks, he took a sip of his drink. He hoped that a bit of alcohol could calm his nervousness.
The intention was to sit with them and have a few rounds with them. By that time, his classmates would arrive and he would join them. He continuously looked at his phone to see if any of them would respond. Unfortunately, it was radio silence. He silently hoped to God that this wasn't a penalty game or a practical joke.
A few moments later, the first wave of drinks came. An obvious amateur, he failed to mention what they wanted. He assumed that the waitress was giving them what they previously ordered. He tried not to let his naivete get to him. This was his new friend's birthday and wanted to make a great impression.
"Come on Izuku, have a toast with us." Yang said as she raised her glass.
"Like yeah. Speak Izuku," said Ruby.
"Say a few words, kid," replied Blake.
"And be sure it is appropriate and not wanting to get into our pants," said Weiss.
He swallowed the lump in his throat. All eyes were literally on him. He cleared his throat as he raised his glass. The girls proceeded to do the same.
"Here's to Yang on her birthday. May this day be filled with merriment and excitement," he responded. "Umm…love and live your life. Make it lavish and long. And…strive and prosper!"
"Cheers!" The girls said as they clinked their glasses with him and each other.
Yang gravitated towards him and wrapped her arms around his shoulder. "Take a sip of this, cutie." Izuku looked at the clear liquid in question. Wasn't fond of sharing drinks with strangers, he was about to politely decline until she grabbed his chin, parted his mouth, and put the concoction in his mouth.
"Bleh!" The emerald-haired teen responded as the drink burned his throat. He felt heat in his nose. His stomach was getting warm, fuzzy, and tingly.
"This would put some lead in your pencil, kid," said Yang as she reached over and grabbed the shot glasses of vodka. "The nectar of life, I swear." She slapped the table, letting the Harley Quinn waitress know that she wanted some more.
About an hour later….
Whatever he drank, he wanted more of it. Rounds and rounds of drinks were passed to the table. He watched as the girls consumed drink after drink like it was water. And every time the drinks were passed, each of them made sure that the underaged teen partook in the revelry.
As time passed, the boy was feeling drowsy, dizzy, and eventually, he was drunk.
The world around him started to get cloudy. The 808 and the heavy bass sounded like offbeat noises. Ruby and the girls gathered around him, taking pictures and selfies with him. He recalled Blake kissing him and then passed through Ruby and even the Snow Bitch gave in and made out with him, followed by taking pictures.
All throughout this, all he could was laugh and giggle.
He was too far gone — consumed in his own world of his drunken stupor.
"Izuku? Izuku?"
Everything felt heavy and things were swirling and slowing down.
"Izuku, are you okay?"
He tilted his head. It was Yang that was saying that. "Damn, you're sexy." He then burst out laughing. The girls began laughing, knowing the tell-tale sign of a lightweight.
The blonde blushed. "Thanks."
Izuku couldn't stop giggling. Whenever he attempted to speak, it became word vomit. He couldn't contain his laughter. He burst out laughing loudly while beating the table hard. He was so caught up in the moment that he did not pay attention that the blonde was getting closer to his line of sight.
Ruby, Blake, and Weiss excused themselves as they went to the bathroom to powder their noses, leaving the two alone.
He extended his arm around the edge of the seat. Yang took that as an invitation and joined him.
His heart was skipping beats. She placed her head on his shoulders. As she did, he felt an erection budding in his pants. He didn't resist. Even if he did, he was too inebriated to care. The fact that he called her sexy was just sober thoughts projected in his drunken slurs.
"Do you know what you do to me, Yang?!"
The blonde didn't respond, not really listening. She was too busy staring at his freckled cheeks, glowing green eyes, and soft lips.
Yang leaned forward as she and Izuku wrapped their lips around each other. Immediately, their tongues danced. Yang grabbed her arms and wrapped them behind his shoulders. Izuku grabbed her underarms and pressed her against the seat.
To Izuku, Yang tasted like candy. She began to grab hold of him tightly, making it clear that she wanted more than a kiss.
With a low growl, Yang grounded their lower halves together. Izuku lowered his hands down and grabbed Yang's ass, reaching under her dress and into her ass. She didn't fuss, continued to buck her hips into his now hardened, throbbing member.
They broke the kiss. Izuku squeaked when Yang bit his lip.
"Shall we dance?"
He widened his eyes when hearing her request. "I can't dance."
"It's all about rhythm." She held out her hand and Izuku grabbed it. "And I can show you how."
Back to the present….
Izuku immediately flagged the waitress and requested one of those Irish coffees that Yang had. Anything to blockade what he had done.
The spiky-haired blond chuckled as he leaned back and took a sip of his drink. "I used to be a lover boy. But you brought me to a savage."
The emerald-haired teen put his phone down and then put his head on the table.
"Just so you know Katsuki, I am half-white. The other half is Chinese," said Yang dryly as she checked on her husband.
"And after what you two did, it can be cream of mushroom and chicken." Katsuki sniggered.
"Spontaneously combust, spontaneously combust, spontaneously combust, spontaneously combust…" The emerald-haired teen repeated as his head bounced up and down the table.
A few minutes later, Izuku consumed his hot, alcoholic beverage. Honestly, it didn't matter if it made him more inebriated. The kid was trapped in confusion. Less than twenty-four hours ago, he had drunken sex with a stranger, married her, and now their dance was featured live on social media.
As in the same social media page that his mother followed.
"Mom…Dad…All Might," he said as he covered his face. "Not even through with the Hero Course and I am already married." He then looked at the blonde. "Are you sure that we used protection?"
"Duh!" Yang said as she grabbed his shoulder. "Trust me when I say this. You're adorable, quite dashing, but nowhere near ready for children. Plus, my father would kill me if I got pregnant before marriage. Oh, Oum, my Uncle Qrow."
Katsuki smirked as he grabbed Izuku's shoulder. "I wouldn't be too worried about your mom." He then gave the teen a sly look. "Let's say a little birdie sent out their invitation post haste."
His eyes widened when hearing those fateful words. "Tell me you're lying, Bakugo." He grabbed Katsuki's shirt. "For the love of Dio, please tell me that you're lying."
"Did I tell you to swan dive off the roof back in junior high?"
He now realized that he must inform his mother about his new situation, and thanks to Katsuki, he didn't have much of a choice.
"Let's hope she doesn't have a heart attack or flood the house again."
To be continued….
BD: I know Yang didn't get much of a say in this chapter. In a way, she is much as shocked as Deku. Since she is out of her element, she doesn't entirely know what to do at this time.
Also, typical Bakugo to be a killjoy. Now, Deku has to face his mom. How is Inko going to handle it?
Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy the series as well as my other work. Please check out my latest stories featuring the IzuRWBY brigade. Plus, my writing partner and I are now working on the latest chapter of "Emerald Rabbit's Warren."
As always, God bless you and team Greenshade!
