Wherever the dark dragon passed through, the life energy of the area he was around and much further beyond, went in his direction, being consumed, taken by him. The terrain was decaying. What in a few moments ago was still a horizon full of life, was now starting to become a dead zone.

"Ddraig, you don't know anything about this guy?"

Issei questioned with shock evident in his voice. Apple was around his neck and he was carrying Cynthia in his arms, with Leviathan's wings having sprout from his back. They had flied away already, they would firstly try to understand what this dragon, that had appeared out of nowhere, was.

"Juggernaut Drive? Wasn't this ability exclusive to the Boosted Gear and Divine Dividing?"

Cynthia commented with furrowed brows. Ddraig had since long ago explained to everyone on their family about Divine Dividing and more importantly, about the Juggernaut Drive. The power to temporarily lift the restrictions placed on the Heavenly Dragons, releasing the sealed power of their sacred gears. The danger of this state was that, in addition to the loss of control caused by the previous users' curse, grudge, and hatred, it was also a form that consumed the user's life energy.

In Issei's case however, he, who was immortal because of his family, which was modified by the immortality operation, was not affected by that consumption. Vegapunk had already theorized, and practically confirmed, that his life energy would not be affected, he would continue to generate more as it was consumed.

"So, I can use this Juggernaut Drive at will?"

Issei, eleven years old, asked with eyes shining like stars.

In response, Vegapunk slapped him on the top of his head.

"Of course not! Did you forget about the loss of consciousness? With your family here, we can take care of it, but imagine the damage that would be done if you went on that monstrous form without anyone being able to restrict it? And we are not even taking Leviathan's powers, or the modifications that were made to the Boosted Gear in consideration! No matter what happens, unless it's the last option, never use Juggernaut Drive!"

It was one of the few occasions that Issei noticed that Vegapunk was genuinely concerned about something. Especially since, as it was completely unexplored territory for everyone, it was impossible for them to know what would happen if Issei, with the many different powers he has, entered Juggernaut Drive. Where his life would not be at risk, the possibility that the world he would be in could be reduced to nothing was not to be ignored.

[Partner, you can feel through this presence too, can't you?]

Rather than answer Cynthia's question directly, Ddraig directed another question at Issei.

"Yeah..." A weak smile formed on Issei's face. "It's hard to believe, but without a doubt this is the aura of a Longinus and of a Heavenly Dragon… and also… I can't be sure, but…"

Cynthia's eyes widened at her boyfriend's words. She was about to say something, when a sudden change occurred.

The dark dragon, who was still chasing them, disappeared for a single instant.

Issei, Cynthia, Apple and Ddraig all sensed the dragon's presence in the next moment. He had somehow teleported to be above them.

The four could feel that the space around them was altered, and Issei found it harder to fly. He didn't hesitate and entered Balance Breaker.

WELSH DRAGON BALANCE BREAKER! HYBRID MODE!

With the announcement made, Issei automatically had his body covered in the Scale Mail, at the same time that he entered his hybrid form. The armor suffered modifications to fit the hybrid form of the Leviathan transformation. Ddraig once explained that this was what they called a subspecies.

He had grown to be two meters and half tall. Two horns protruded from the armor's helmet, his claws were more pronounced, and he had six wings on his back, two from Scale Mail's original and four from Leviathan's hybrid form transformation.

The dark dragon brought its claws down on them, and the four once again noticed that the space around the attack seemed to be affected, as if it was being ripped out by the dragon. At least Issei had no trouble dodging the attacks. His greatest affinity with haki was observation haki, and this, along with his capacity to use aura and the boosted gear, gave him interesting abilities.

At the same time that they were being tacked, all realized that, just by being near the dark dragon, their life energies threatened to be taken by him.

Not that it would affect them too badly, once again, thanks to immortality operation. But it could still affect them now.

The four also notice that, there were parts of the armor, mainly on the wings, that opened to consume the energy that went towards the dragon.

[Partner, if you continue like this, even with your endless stamina, he'll tire you out eventually. And by constantly taking in life energy... it's impressive, it looks like we've found someone like you, who can constantly stay in Juggernaut Drive.]

Ddraig warned.

"I know!"

The brunette spoke, while dodging the dragon's constant attacks.

"But I won't let him have free lunch!"

Issei yelled and activated his conqueror's haki. It seemed like a useless move as the pressure was completely ignored by the dragon, however the energy that came out of the brunette stopped. The dark dragon's powers no longer seemed to affect him.

"Since he absorbs life energy, aura probably won't work on him..."

Cynthia commented as she was trying to think of what she could do.

While dodging Issei tried to use electricity, fire and even blows with draconic aura, both from the Sekiryuutei and the Leviathan, and all of this was absorbed by the dark dragon.

"WHAT THE FUCK IS THIS GUY?"

Having passed through several worlds, Issei had already faced many types of enemies, but one that just seemed to devour everything that was sent his way, was a first for this generation's Red Dragon Emperor.

[It's almost like Vritra but worse... the absorption ability also vaguely reminds me of Albion, but that aura... is it really that...]

Ddraig didn't complete his thoughts, but both Issei and Cynthia knew what he was referring to. Coming from the black dragon, they sensed an aura that was very familiar... a possibility crossed their minds, although it was one that even they couldn't quite understand.

"Shit... we need to take more distance again! More! Fifty!"

ADJUSTMENT: FIFTY! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST! BOOST!

A wave of power surged through Issei's body, at the same time as the Boosted Gear announcement was made.

Years ago, when Vegapunk experimented with putting a devil fruit in the Boosted Gear, it had been the Moa Moa no Mi, the fruit with the ability to amplify anything the user wanted. It seemed redundant to put this fruit in the Boosted Gear, but Vegapunk theorized that the abilities of both would complement each other, and he was right once more.

Several interesting results had come out of this, one of them being that now, Issei could choose the amount of how much his boosts would be. Of course, there was a limit, which could still be increased with training.

Once his five boosts were done, Issei broke the speed of sound through several times, and put a huge distance between himself and the dark dragon. Cynthia and Apple weren't affected by this, as they defended themselves with their auras.

However, the sekiryuutei didn't have time to breathe.

"THIS GUY IS FULL OF SHIT!"

Issei knew what was about to happen, not because he had Future Vision, but because he could sense from the dark dragon what his next move would be. He knew exactly what was on the dragon's mind, devour.

The dragon in Juggernaut Drive opened his mechanical mouth, and like a black hole, everything in a long distance was drawn towards it, including Issei.

"HOW IS HE DOING THIS?"

Cynthia asked, confused by the dragon's set of powers, as he was able to absorb energy, but at the same time seemed have certain control over space.

"HE WANT ME? ALL RIGHT THEN! COME HERE YOU LITTLE SHIT!

Having had enough of running away, Issei turns to face the dragon. Despite being drawn towards it, the sekiryuutei manages to dodge enough to get out of the absorption zone by going to the side of the dragon, and aiming for the sides of his head.

The user of leviathan kicks in middle air, forming a blade of air, which receives a boost, with value of fifty, ten times. The blade grew until it was larger than the black dragon, who took the attack directly.

GUGYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!

The blow hit him squarely, pushing for hundreds of meters, causing even more destruction through the dead zone generated by the black dragon itself. However, even with such a heavy blow, that for a moment seemed like it would be enough to take it down, Issei noticed that the one in Juggernaut Drive did not stop absorbing the planet's life energy, even though the area around him had already died. That meant that any damage done by Issei was being regenerated.

'What is the limit of this guy's area?'

Issei couldn't help but wonder in awe.

Maybe, if I could already use the advanced form of armament... but it's useless to think about it now. Don't worry, Apple and I are going to be fine. Issei took off his helmet so Cynthia could run her hand over his cheek as he kissed her gently. He descended, until reaching the ground, where he left Cynthia and Apple.

"Finish him off!"

The blonde spoke, raising her fist in Issei's direction.

"Chichichi, leave it to me"

He replied, beating his own closed fist into hers.

Then the brunette turned around, putting his helmet back on.

"Let's finish this guy Ddraig!"

[Yes. Let's show him the power of the strongest Sekiryuutei!]

BEAST MODE! ADJUSTMENT: A HUNDRED

Issei went flying and changed from his hybrid form to HIS full beast form, growing to be almost a hundred meters, both in height and width. He was truly a giant in that form.

His body was still covered by Scale Mail, so his appearance was red, but with blue details. Dozens of wings sprouted from his back, and now his appearance resembled even more that of the dark dragon in Juggernaut Drive.

And with his boosts set to take the value of one hundred each, even in that form, he once again broke the speed of sound through dozens of times, now causing even more damage than before.

Like a rocket, no, actually much stronger and faster than one, he covered his head with a white spherical shaped energy, and hit where the dark dragon's stomach would have been.

Cracks formed in midair as he hit the dragon, who let out another grotesque scream of pain as the impact of the attack and Issei pushed him upwards. In a blink of an eye, they seemed to be almost on the outermost layer of that planet.

The dark dragon's armor was full of cracks, and it seemed about to fall apart. In addition to dealing that much damage, Issei was also pushing the dragon away from its source of healing, so everything should end soon.

"TAKE THIS!"

The sekiryuutei celebrated, but it was a short celebration.

GUOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

The dark dragon's whole body once more regenerated, even if he was no longer taking energy from the planet.

And, in the next second Issei felt a gigantic impact on his back, and when he realized it, something he couldn't see or touch, but which he could feel the force of, pushed him back down to the planet. Even with his boosts he found it slightly difficult to stand his ground, and actually fell for dozens of meters before he managed to stabilize, destroying whatever it was that was used by the dark dragon.

[Partner, look!]

At Ddraig's warning, Issei had a bad feeling and looked up.

There, he saw the dark dragon, surrounded by several stars. But then, the monster opened his mouth and turned his head, and the stars from the sky were sucked into it, one by one, until the sky around him was his equal.

"Are you kidding..."

But Issei didn't have time to be surprised, because the dragon in Juggernaut Drive lowered his head, and aimed at the brunette, launching a blast, of what Issei knew to be true stars, towards him.

As you could see, this chapter was very much focused on showcasing what the dark dragon can do in his JD. Thoughts about his powers?
