"UGH! Here?!"

Maki paused.

She hasn't been back to the Zen'in estate since she killed the clan. But, why come back here? For that matter, why does everything look so pristine, clean and updated? Suiryu smiled as he turned to her. "I know this isn't your favorite place, but let's be honest, free real estate here! Besides, this place is going to be rather useful… but first…" he took out the orb that contained Naoya.

He rolled it carefully on the ground until it came to a complete stop. When it did, divine energy seeped into the earth, it spread about like spider webs as it appeared to be anchoring the orb containing Naoya to the ground. Then, the orb pulsed, the whole grounds became covered in this yellow light until it returned to the source, the orb then pulsed. Only to suddenly burst!

Naoya reemerged basking in the glow before his feet hit the ground once more.

Then, that smile came to his face. He took a deep breath and sighed. "Ah, I'm back!" he decreed.

"Not really, no," Suiryu said bluntly but smiled. "Congrats though, you are no longer a curse spirit but a divine creature now!"

Maki… couldn't help but notice his smile growing… Both Suiryu and Naoya's!

Naoya was directed at her, Suiryu's was directed at him. Suddenly, he dashed at her! Maki saw it coming a mile away however… that was the problem. Naoya realized he didn't have his speed the moment he lunged at her and was quick to call off his own attack. "My… my speed…"

"You gave it up remember?!" Geto even chimed in on this.

"Wait, why did you come?!" Maki demanded.

"Curious to see what was going on. I've been around long enough to know when Suiryu says something offhandedly to someone… there is a LOT more to it than what he says."

"He does catch on… impressive." Suiryu said with a little admiration in his voice. "But yeah, about that. You gave up your curse energy to be a divine creature, which means you get different abilities. But also…" then his smile grew wicked. "It depends on what KIND of divine creature you have become… how unfortunate for you that I INFLUENCE that!"

Naoya's smile quickly vanished once more. "What do you mean? I'm still a special grade right?!"

"You weren't even that," Maki snapped back. "As a curse, maybe, but as you… not a chance!"

"Shut up bitch!"

"Ah, I wouldn't if I were you." Suiryu said and then…

SNAP.

He snapped his fingers.

The light that had casted over the Zen'in estate returned, but that light was drawn to Maki. She froze as it came toward her, suddenly her arms became wrapped in golden chains and then… those chains were on Naoya's arms as well!

"What… WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" he roared.

When it finished, there was no mark on Maki but Naoya was frozen in place. "Now, explanation time!" Suiryu called.

"Good I had no idea what was going on, everyone just stared at each other weirdly…" Geto muttered.

"Wait, I saw that?!" Maki demanded.

"The fact is that both of you can see Naoya right now right? You shouldn't. He's a divine creature. But you can since you are both connected to him, and soon the others will too…"

"Others?" she asked, as did Naoya.

"Others," Suiryu said and grinned. "For today, the Zen'in estate is going to be the new home of our graduates of Maki and Toji's class!"

"WHAT! MONKEYS? THIS PLACE IS GOING TO BE INFESTED WITH MONKEYS?" Naoya roared. "I REFUSE!"

"You got no say," Suiryu replied. "You haven't even asked me what you have turned into…"

"Then tell me! WHAT did you turn ME into?"

Suiryu's look turned wicked. "A silky" he said.

Maki froze, Geto too as Naoya froze in place.

"What the fuck is a Silky?" he demanded.

"Well, one of two things, so take a good guess after. One is a divine sea creature that takes the form of a seal but turns into a person when they shed their skin and walk on the surface. Usually they turn into a hot woman but either way. Another is a house spirit, that is attached to a dwelling and all those who reside in it. The house spirit upkeeps the place, cleans, cooks, does it all! SO! With that being said, take a guess as to what I turned you into to, which version… I'll wait."

Maki loved the look of devastation on the face of Naoya.

"YOU TRAPPED ME HERE AGAIN!"

"I never said that,"

Naoya paused. "What? You just said…"

"I told you to guess which one you were, I didn't give you ALL the details about it."

"Really? There's more to this?" Geto asked.

"Oh big time," Suiryu stated. "You see, you're a particular Silky, I made sure of that, in fact, you're in a little class all your own since I made you like this. You are known as a dragon made divine creature. Happy now, Captain Special? But let's talk about that later. Anyways, you are going to be protecting these grounds, the students within and maintain the peace among them. You are only limited in travels by those who live here." He explained.

Naoya took a moment.

Then he appeared down right confused.

"What are you trying to say?"

Suiryu… face palmed his forehead.

"Depending on how many people live here, where they go… you can. Essentially, you can leave here as long as it is with someone from the house!" he explained. "Eventually, you will be able to wonder out on your own, but for now, under my authority, you are bounded by those who live here… so you don't want Maki and Toji's students here? Fine, stay by yourself, alone… AGAIN, until I find someone else. OR, you allow them to stay, since they are going to be our eyes and ears in the human world. By the way, Maki how many graduated?" Suiryu asked.

"We got thirty," she said. "More than I anticipated."

"So you got thirty people who can let you leave, who will be traveling throughout Japan. And you will be bonded to each one of them, as such, you can go instantly to their location. Part of the perk." Suiryu explained.

Naoya sneered. "You used me…" he said in a seething tone. "Why does she have marks on her arms that are the same as mine!"

Maki peered and saw the gold chains once more.

"Believe it or not, that's for your sake. You are bounded to Maki."

"HUH?" She demanded. "Why would I want him bounded to me!?"

"That bitch!"

"If you are not attached to someone like her, then divine users can do the same thing Suguru did to you. But worst."

Suddenly, he appeared startled. "What… what do you mean, but worst?"

"Unlike Geto who doesn't drain you dry. Not to mention he has the ability to copy his curses' abilities with his curse energy. So he doesn't take too much or harm you… you never felt pain when he used yours right?"

"Tch…"

"Anyway, a divine user… they like to take a chain out from their heart, the moment it is casted on you, if you can't break free, you are bounded to that sorcerer until they either let you go, or they die… divine users don't die of old age… they are also rather careful when they got something good like an unknown Silky that came out of nowhere… you wanna feel special, I dare you to leave this place and try to hold off the divine users who would do ANYTHING to obtain power for themselves… for the more they capture in divine creatures, the stronger they become and grow."

Naoya paused oddly. He peered at Geto who shrugged his shoulders. "Guess I wasn't THAT bad then…"

"What… what happens if they try to capture me now?" he asked.

"Can't, since you are bounded to Maki. They would have to kill her to obtain you… and if you are considering putting a hit on her just to break free, so be it. Better still…" Suiryu went to Maki and took hold of one of her arms. In a burst of light, the chains broke off from her limbs. "She is no longer bounded to you nor you her. Reap what you sow, but I assure you. If you think your life sucks here and now, let's see how long you last out there without anyone backing you. You'll get your wish, I can promise you that. But I can't promise you will be in a better situation than now. Choose wisely."

Suiryu said there rather contently and yet, he glared at Naoya. Maki knew he was greatly conflicted, what Suiryu said was true. There is no way of knowing if he is going to get it any better now compared if he were to leave on his own.

But, there came a moment of pause on Naoya. "Wait, if I am to protect this estate, I can set a rule can't I?" he asked with a twisted grin.

"Yes, you can."

His smile grew.

Maki knew something was coming.

"Very well then, the only ones who can enter this establishment… are members of the Zen'in clan!" He placed his hand to the ground and sent power throughout. Suiryu watched with interest. Maki was still trying to understand how she could see divine power like this. She hasn't really trained herself on it yet.

Geto appeared repelled a little. "Huh…" he placed his hand towards the estate but found it was repelled. "I can't enter."

Naoya smiled victoriously to his accomplishment. "So go ahead, bring your monkeys here… let's see them try to enter!"

Suiryu wasn't the least bit concerned. "Okay," he said carelessly. "If you are still here when we come back, we might have some new roommates for you… IF you're still here that is…"

They took their leave. They were some distance away when Maki noticed something. Despite the display shown earlier, she still had the odd golden marks on her arms. "Wait, I thought you broke this? Also, why bind me to him?" she asked.

"Few reasons, he hates you. Second of all, I want him to know that his life is in your hands, and lastly… I'm about to give him a good scare…" Suiryu's smile grew wicked as he made a phone call. Maki listed and could hear D'angelo on the other end.

"Oh? Are you ready to do this? I got some particular divine users chomping at the bit here…"

Suiryu's smile grew. "Send them the location. Let's scare the shit out of him!"
