Chapter 26 – Bludger.

Leading away from their conversation, days went by, and we finally have our quidditch match with Slytherin as we see one of the matches between Slytherin and Gryffindor. It was a cloudy and windy day over the field.

Hadriana groaned as Slytherin scored again, as we couldn't keep up against their new brooms.

"Another goal for Slytherin." Mumbled Lee, though perked up at McGonagall's glare. "I mean another goal for Slytherin!" he yelled out more enthusiastically, though, his face showed his disdain.

"I like that kid!" Younger Sirius yelled quietly to his brother who was just rolling his eyes at his brothers' childishness.

"The score then showed 90 to Slytherin who is leading, and 30 to Gryffindor.

James looked on in frustration, "Come on! Come on!" he managed to mumble quietly.

"They lead Gryffindor 90 to 30," Lee grumbled, now fully managing to ignore McGonagall's glare.

The Slytherin team all do a lap seeing the pitch, all of them swatting at Hadriana, who ducked as she glared at them.

Draco as usual flew up to her, smirking in triumph. "All right there scared!" he yelled.

Hadriana just glared, "Wow, real original!" she mumbled with a smile to his shock.

"That's what I was supposed to say." Frank laughed.

Draco could just roll his eyes at how his younger self behaved, how the heck had he managed to get the most beautiful girl to go out with him? If that's how he had behaved!

Hadriana looked all over the field wanting to finish it quickly, only to have to duck when a blunger came flying right at her head.

Lily grabs onto James's arm, slightly irritated over the game.

"It's alright, she dodged it." James tried to soothe Lily who was worried, and he knew that she had never liked the sport and that made her even more anxious.

"Watch yourself Hadriana," Oliver yelled.

Hadriana's eyes widened when the bludger turned back around, coming at wood from behind. "Oliver watch out!" she screamed frightened, as the bludger broke Oliver's broomstick and he began to fall to the ground. The bludger just began to follow her around the pitch.

Hagrid was looking from the stands with his binoculars.

"Are they supposed to do that?" Lily asked James worriedly.

James who was also watching what was happening with wide eyes just shook his head alongside the others who loved Quidditch.

Hadriana just looked at it fondly, though, it was irritating when it happened right then but now she just looked at it with fondness.

"Blimey! Hadriana's got herself a rouge bludger. It's been tampered with, that it has." Hagrid yelled as many were looking p to watch what was happening.

"It's actually weird that no one stopped the game when this happened!" Hadriana muttered, just to get everyone to think.

Professor Flitwick was also a little bit weirded out by this, that they as teachers had failed their students this much.

"I'll stop it!" Ron said and began to raise his broken wand.

"No!" Lily, James, Molly, and the other parents in the room yelled out in concern, at what was happening.

"No! Even with a proper wand that's too risky. You could hit her!" Hermione said.

The bludger continued chasing her around the pitch, while Draco came to a stop as Hadriana finally managed to lose it.

"Training for the ballet, Potter?" Draco smirked.

Hadriana just rolled her eyes, noticing the snitch flying right above Draco's head.

Draco groaned at himself; he was just a prat back then.

James snickered at what he saw on the screen and what Young Malfoy was doing, and just had to ask "Did you have a crush on my daughter Malfoy?" with a laugh.

Draco just shook his head, blushing at that notion "No, but it was fun to tease her."

Hadriana dives after the snitch, and the bludger returns to once again fly after her. They then race after it, both of them trying to push themselves further. Flying then underneath the pitch, while the bludger was chasing her.

"You'll never catch me, Potter!" Yelled Draco, as they continued.

Hadriana caught up with him, and they flew neck to neck, flying passed Colin who snapped a picture reminding Hadriana that she wanted to get that picture for herself. Before managing to duck away from the bludger as it almost takes the first year's head off. They then keep on flying shoving one another until the bludger comes up distracting Draco, making him fall off his broom landing hard on the ground.

Hadriana caught up with the snitch, reaching out with her arm she almost had it when the bludger came out of nowhere hitting her in the arm, it gave off a sickening crunch. With Hadriana clutching her arm, not even saying anything, she reached out with her good arm and grabbed the snitch, before flipping under her broom and skidding across the pitch and letting go of her broom.

Lily closed her eyes with a gasp not believing her eyes, that her daughter could be that careless with her life completely missing the point where it wasn't Hadriana's fault that the bludger came after her on its own.

James and young Sirius cheered her on, they knew that everything was fine and that their team won. Though, they were worried about why she hadn't made a sound when the bludger hit her.

*You're the best* Sirius told her, and kissed her head as it was laying on his shoulder.

"Thank you," she whispered quietly.

Hermione, Ron and Hagrid all looked at her worriedly, before they started to move out of the stand and make their way down.

Hadriana just like always ignored the pain in her arm, and looked at the snitch which was resting in the palm of her hand, before grinning proudly.

"That's our girl!" Squealed James proud of his daughter's accomplishment.

"Now, there is no denying it. She's your kid, Prongs." Remus said with a shake of his head.

*Why didn't dad become a quidditch player? * Hadriana questioned softly at her father's love for the sport.

*The war. * Was all that Sirius said sadly, *every one of us wanted to help. *

Closing her eyes in sadness for what wasn't to be, but maybe now it could have a chance to be if they are smart about changing the outcome of the war to come.

"Hadriana Potter caught the snitch. Gryffindor wins!" Lee yelled, actually excited for the first time that night.

Hadriana looks up, the smile on her face vanished as the bludger came hurtling down at her again. Rolling over, therefore dodging it twice, she sits up opening her legs wide, as the bludger landed right in between them.

Hermione, Ron and Hagrid had finally made their way over with a group of students behind them, her team flew and landed worriedly beside her.

"Finite Incantation!" Someone yelled out loud at the bludger exploding it before it could gear up and hit her.

They are all running over to her, Lockhart towards her as well while Hermione crouches down beside her looking worriedly, together with Oliver who was looking at her with concern.

"Are you okay?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah, though I think my arm is broken," Hadriana answered him tiredly.

"Not to worry, Hadriana. I will fix that arm of yours straight away!" Lockhart exclaimed.

Hadriana silently groaned while shaking her head, "N-no. Not you!" she said weakly not wanting him to do anything but wait for Pomfray.

"Poor girl. Doesn't know what she's talking about," he told them, looking around at everyone.

Hagrid and Ron shared a look with one another, knowing for sure that something was going to go wrong.

"Brackium Emendo," Lockheart said and tapped his wand against Hadriana's broken arm.

"How the heck did you manage to get into my house, Mr Lockhart?" Flitwick asked his student, completely flabbergasted that someone like him could be smart enough for his house.

Everyone else was also looking at him in shock, everyone knew how hard that spell was to master at least those that wanted to go into healing as their profession.

Lockhart didn't answer, and it was good enough for them to sort out a re-sorting after everything had been done, and it was good that they were at the start of the semester so it could be done.

Hadriana's arm lights up before the bones in her disappeared completely – it looked slightly weird.

Lockhart then picked up her arm, only for it to flap around, making his smile drop, as everyone was looking at him with wide eyes, no one more than Hadriana.

Lockhart smug smile dropped as he watched his future self, and looked down ignoring the angry mutterings of the other students.

James had to be stopped from pulling out his wand, as he was getting ready to hex the boy.

Lily was also glaring at the boy who was flinching backwards when he got a glint of them looking at him.

"yes… well… that can sometimes happen, but the point is… you can no longer feel any pain, and very clearly, the bones are not broken." Lockhart said.

Hadriana glared at her professor who then bent her arm backwards, and for her, it was a little fascinating to see, though, weirdly everyone around her wasn't doing anything to stop it from happening.

"There are no bones, you simpleminded idiot!" Regulus sneered from where he was sitting.

"How can I know? It happened in the future." Lockhart muttered with a flinch as everyone around him glared at him.

"Broken? There are no bones left!" Hagrid exclaimed outraged, as he bent Hadriana's fingers.

"Much more flexible, though!" Lockhart said as the girls' fingers snapped back.

The next scene showed that they could see Madam Pomfray rushing through the crowds, where everyone was standing surrounding Hadriana. "Oh, Mr. Malfoy stops making such a big fuss. You can go. Out of my way! Out of my way!" she yelled.

Everyone moved out of her way, and she made her way to Hadriana standing beside Hadriana who was still laying down. "Should have been brought straight to me! I can mend bones, in a heartbeat, but growing them back?" Pomfray muttered to herself.

Hadriana was still looking at her arm worriedly. "You will be able to, won't you?" she asked.

"Oh, I'll be able to. Certainly, but it will be painful! You're in for a long night Potter. Regrowing bones is a nasty business." She explained to Hadriana, before giving her a potion.

Hadriana took a small sip of the potion, before cringing and spitting it out in front of everyone.

"Well, what did you expect, pumpkin juice?" Madam Pomfray questioned, before pouring another cup.

"I actually wonder why no one explained to me what I was drinking?" Hadriana pondered, "I had grown up in the muggle world."

"Sorry, I don't know what I was thinking." Pomfray sighed, everything seemed to come back to what the headmaster was thinking and doing.

"You explained everything to me in the end," Hadriana told her with a nod.

It was later at night when Hadriana could be seen laying in her bed at the hospital wing when she heard a familiar voice, it was surprising.

"Kill."

"Not again!" Andromeda sighed, lifting Nymphdora closer to her chest.

Kill, time to kill."

The voice twice in a row sent chills down everyone's spine. Every other first year sat closer to those years older.

Moody and Shakelbolt stared at the screen n confusion, but they knew that sooner or later things would clear up.

Hadriana groaned in her bed knowing that things were heating up when she heard a familiar voice.

"Hello."

Those not following along screamed.

"Dobby?"

"Hadriana potter should have listened to Dobby. Hadriana Potter should have gone home when she missed the train." He told her, standing on top of the bed, looking her in the eye.

"It was you. You stopped the barrier from letting Ron and me through." Hadriana said with wide eyes.

"I thought that was impossible." Said many of the teachers in shock.

"You are really underestimating them!" Hadriana sighed.

Sirius nodded alongside his wife, they were some of the best for infiltration missions if you order them to do it, and if you have their loyalty they will always do what you ask. *I know, you taught me this.* he smirked at everyone's confusion.

"Indeed, yes, miss." He nodded.

"You nearly got Ron and I expelled." Hadriana hissed quietly.

"At least you would be far away from here. Hadriana Potter must go home. Dobby thought his bludger would be enough to make Hadriana Potter see that-"

"His bludger?" yelled many people in shock.

James gave the elf a slight glare for placing his daughter in harm's way.

Lily did her best to be calm.

"Your bludger? You made that bludger chase after me?" she hissed angrily.

"Dobby feels most aggrieved, miss. Dobby had to iron his hands." He told her, holding up his poorly bandaged hands.

Hadriana looked at him saddened over this. before she hardened remembering everything that had happened to her this year. "You better clear off before my bones come back Dobby, or I might strangle you," she said, getting up and out of bed, as he jumped out of her bed, with a gasp.

"You're hot when you are angry!" Young Sirius exclaimed as he watched it happen on the screen.

"She has nothing on a grown-up Hadriana Potter," Sirius smirked, wiggling his eyebrows.

"Oh?" Young Sirius asked curious about what happened, and he wanted to know more.

"There was one point in time when she cursed me to sleep on the couch for a month," Sirius told him, making his younger self gulp and sit down looking down in his lap.

The girls in the room laughed, "What did he do?" Marlene inquired with a little laugh seeing that finally, someone had managed to tame Sirius.

"Hmm, you will understand what I mean when you grow up." was all that Hadriana told them.

"Dobby is used to death threats miss. Dobby gets them five times a day at home."

"I don't suppose you can tell me why you're trying to kill me?" she questioned.

Dobby shook his head. "Not kill you miss. Never kill you. Dobby remembers what it was like before Hadriana Potter triumphed over He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Names."

"We house-elves are treated like vermin, miss. Of course, Dobby is still treated like vermin." Dobby continued, as he started to cry blowing his nose into his rags.

Hadriana sighed as she looked at him, a little bit angry at herself for yelling at him, but at the same time still a little bit angry.

*I know how much you liked him. * Sirius said calmly, *no one can say that the elf never loved you.*

*It's still hard to know what happened.* Hadriana said, and dried a couple of tears that had escaped from her eyes.

"Why do you wear that thing, Dobby?"

"This, miss? It's the mark of the house elf enslavement. Dobby could only be freed if his master presents him with clothes."

A loud bang could be heard, drawing both of their attention. Dobby jumped up onto the bed. "Listen… Listen." Dobby whispered, gesturing to Hadriana to come closer. "Terrible things are about to happen at Hogwarts. Hadriana Potter Must not stay now that history is to repeat itself."

"Repeat itself. You mean that this has happened before?" Hadriana asked curiously.

"I shouldn't have said that! Oh!" Dobby mumbled grabbing the bottle of skele-gro on the table beside them hitting his head over and over again. "Bad Dobby." He mumbled.

Hadriana grabbed him and dragged him closer. "Tell me, Dobby. When did this happen before? Who's doing it now?" she asked.

Dobby just shook his head, "Dobby cannot say miss, Dobby only wants Hadriana Potter to be safe."

"No Dobby. Tell me! Who is it?" Hadriana tried asking him once again before Dobby snapped his fingers and disappeared again.

Many people were fed up with that elf, and wanted to know what was happening as much as onscreen Hadriana wanted.

Lily and the others wanted to scream because they knew that Dobby only wanted to help but was doing it in a way that wasn't at all helpful.

Hadriana sighed, before laying down in her bed as she heard footsteps getting closer, and immediately pretended to sleep.

Madam Pomfray, McGonagall, Dumbledore and two other people came in carrying someone on a stretcher. "Put him here. What happened?" Pomfray demanded to know.

"There has been another attack," Dumbledore said.

"I think... do you know? I think he's been petrified, Madam Pomfray."

Hadriana's eyes widened even more, becoming fearful of what was happening.

"Perhaps he managed to take a picture of his attacker?" McGonagall questioned hopefully.

Dumbledore was seen taking the camera apart, as Colin's face is shown, scared into shock.

"It's the boy who kept taking pictures." Alice gasped in sadness.

Dumbledore opened the camera only for there to be a small explosion.

"What does this mean, Albus?"

"It means that our students are in great danger." Dumbledore replied.

"What should I tell the staff?" McGonagall inquired.

"The truth. Tell them that Hogwarts is no longer safe. It is as we feared, Minerva. The chamber of secrets has been opened once again." He said, the teachers all gasped in shock.

*Now I really know, that the headmaster knew I was awake.* Hadriana said pissed off that it had been talked about like that. It was for her own ears.

Sirius didn't say anything but only held her tighter knowing that it was the only thing he could do.

Hadriana was laying there terrified, as the screen changed to a bathroom. The second-floor bathroom.

"Again? You mean that the Chamber of Secrets has been opened before?" Hermione asked surprised, as Hadriana was finished telling them what she had heard the day before.

"Of course! Don't you see? Lucius Malfoy must have opened it when he was at school here, and now he has taught Draco how to do it." Ron exclaimed, as to him it made sense.

"I can't believe that you thought it was me" Draco laughed.

"Oh, don't blame me!" Groaned Ron knowing now that he was wrong, and its embarrassing to see what he had thought of his brother-in-law.

Hadriana was just shaking her head in disagreement, "Don't think so, of what I've seen of him – I think of him as a follower, maybe a coward. He won't endanger his son like this."

Draco looked at his friend in shock, this he hadn't heard before, but it made him smile in gratefulness.

"I'm not a coward!" Lucius pouted, clearly irritated.

Narcissa was clearly trying not to laugh behind her hand.

Ron and Hermione looked at her in shock, a little bit in confusion. "Maybe. We'll know for sure when the Polyjuice potion is finished." Hermione said.

"Enlighten me. Why are we brewing this potion in bright daylight… In the middle of the girls lavatory." Ron asked.

"Don't you think we'll get caught?"

"Why?"

"Mourning Myrtle." That was all that Hermione said?

Ron and Hadriana looked at each other in confusion. "Who?"

"It completely makes sense now!" Many girls said and shared a look with each other.

A ghost with pigtails and glasses, who was wearing an older set of Hogwarts uniforms appeared from within a stall and was clearly listening to their conversation. "Moaning Myrtle."

Hadriana looked over to the stall, shocked to see the ghost though Ron failed to see her.

"Who's Moaning Myrtle?" Ron questioned.

"I'm moaning Myrtle!" the ghost of the girl practically yelled and flew out from her hiding place scaring Ron, and stunning Hadriana.

"I wouldn't expect you to know me. Who would ever talk about ugly, miserable, moping, moaning Myrtle." She screamed and flew back into her toilet making water splash everywhere.

"She's a little sensitive," Hermione said with a grimaced.

Teddy hugged his father and went back to his mom and dad he wanted a hug because they gave great hugs.

Sirius took him onto his lap and gave him a hug and looked at him fondly as he snuggled closer.

Hadriana smiled, kissed Teddy's head with a smile, and ran her fingers through his short hair. Teddy shifted so that he laid across both. Hadriana laughed softly, while Sirius only smiled at the playfulness.

James smiled at the three of them, they seemed to be a great family.

Remus looked at them sadly, knowing that they were great parents and he couldn't have chosen somebody better to take care of his son.
