Λ. The symbol of the lambda (λ) resistance back on Earth, well, the Earth that Aiden, Adrian, and Wilson came from. They think that they're somewhere on earth, not on another planet. Said planet is Eden Prime, a colony of the System's alliance in the Attican Traverse. They also hadn't been spotted yet because they were in the forest of Eden Prime.

Aiden then felt that something was different about his head. Instead of the usual completely reconstructed horrible head that most CPs had, his head and face felt, normal. "Wait a minute," Aiden said abruptly. "What? What is it?" Adrian asked. "My head… it feels, like it was before the mandatory facial reconstruction surgery the combine had. Do… do you have a mirror, Adrian?" "Yeah, why do you ask?" "I want to check if my hypothesis about myself right now is correct." "Okay, fine by me." Aiden then proceeded to struggle in removing his helmet. "C'mon… stupid… Helmet, get… OFF!" "Uhh, Boss?" Wilson interrupted, "There appears to be a new button on the side of your helmet, try pushing that." "Wait, what? When did that get there?" Aiden proceeded to push said button, and his helmet started to partially disassemble. "Wow, that's convenient, why didn't I know about this sooner?" Aiden said in an un-augmented deepish voice[1]. "Hey, Wilson, what do you think caused my facial reconstruction surgery to be undone?" "I uh, don't know what we can attribute that to. But hey, don't look a gift horse in the mouth amirite?" "yeah, I probably shouldn't question it, not like we could figure it out soon." "Well, we better get a move on. After all, we don't know what lurks in these woods." Adrian pointed out. "You're right, let's roll," Aiden replied. "After all, we don't know how dire the situation is."

As the three of them walked, Wilson noticed that something was a little off about the wildlife. "Hmm, the wildlife here must be very Exotic because I don't recognize any of it. Where on Earth are we?" Adrian, realizing this, then said, "Well, I'm going to check my GPS to see where exactly we are. Huh, wonder why I didn't do this sooner." When Adrian tried to use his GPS, it said that there was no signal. "What the Hell? It says no signal. That should be impossible because GPS uses satellites. Could it be being jammed?" He Aptly stated. "Maybe," Aiden responded. "Hey, boss?" "Yeah, Wilson?" "The chassis I'm using has a built-in radio. Maybe I could check if there's any interference or Jamming." "Go for it, Wilson." When Wilson turned on his radio, there was static and a staticky message. "I've got a military signal! It is relatively staticky. Playing it now."

"Well-" Wilson said. "-that isn't ominous at all." "We should probably exercise caution while moving forward," Adrian commented. "You're right," Aiden responded while pulling out his ar-2 prototype. Adrian followed Aiden's lead, pulling out his FN SCAR-H. Wilson, not having any weapons, borrowed Aiden's regular ar-2. "The situation of those soldiers seems dire, we better head towards their location. Wilson, think you can pinpoint the origin of that signal?" Aiden stated. "Sure thing boss! Tracking location now and putting a waypoint on yours and Adrian's HUD [Heads Up Display]." Wilson replied. Aiden then pushed the button on the side of his helmet, re-enclosing his head in it. The three of them then moved out towards the signal's origin, remaining diligent, obtaining a hunched stance, and keeping their weapons at the ready. They weren't going to let any soldier or marine fend for themselves.

Author's notes

Sorry, but yeah, I need to leave you readers hanging. this is, after all, a Preview of what's to come.

If any of y'all are wondering why I'm posting this know, I used this as a creative writing prompt for ELA.

Yes, I'm still in school.

AN1; think of Zach Hazard's voice & accent but a little deeper and there's Aiden Walker's un-augmented voice.
