Hello, fellow Tamers. Centurion Maximo here and welcome back to Rwby: Digital Tamer. It took a bit, but this will finally be posted. In the last chapter, it was mostly a flashback centering on Team CFVY's mission with Professor Port with Terriermon and Lopmon in tow. During said mission, the two digivolve into Gargomon and Turiemon respectively. We also see Qrow helping out to get the Gray family out of the danger zone, but the husband didn't make it, unfortunately. We do get a scene where RWBY and their Digimon are helping to set up for the dance.
Now, to wait until the Stroke of Midnight!
After finishing their classes for the day, the Digidestinded headed back to the dorm to get ready for the Dance tonight. When the eight teens arrived on their floor, they found Qrow standing in front of RWBY's door. "Uncle Qrow, what are you doing here?" Ruby asked while hugging him.
"Do I need a reason to see my favorite nieces?" Qrow ruffled Ruby's hair.
"Normally, I would be excited to kick your butt in Fatal Caliber, but we need to get changed for the Dance." Yang said.
"Firecracker, neither one of you has beaten me in Fatal Caliber. As much as I enjoy beating both of you, we need to talk." Qrow said, his tone becoming serious.
Weiss and Blake gave the sisters the room for privacy to talk with their uncle. Ruby was sitting on Weiss' bed along with Yang, and their Digimon partners were on their laps. "How has Glynda not forced you to take down your beds?" Qrow looked at a bed hanging by a rope from the ceiling and the other with books stacked under it.
"We haven't given Ms. Goodwitch a reason to check our room."' Ruby said. Her uncle gave her a look of disbelief. Ruby let out a small laugh. "Ok, we have been lucky on that."
Qrow took a sip from his flask and shook his head. "Uncle Qrow, not to rush you, but we don't have much time to talk. Weiss and Blake will be back in a couple of minutes. What do you want to tell us?" Yang asked.
"Oz told me what you and your friends have been up to and what secrets he has told you. But for that, I ran into Raven, who told me what was going on." Qrow could see Yang's eyes turning red, but Cubmon put his paw on her hand and claimed the blond down. "I know you have a few questions. so I will answer some of them."
"Was that the first time Raven got in touch with you?" Yang asked.
"No. There have been times when she gave me information. But usually, she wants something in return for it." Qrow answered.
"Why was it such a big deal to tell Yang about Raven?" Cubmon asked.
"My sister didn't just leave you, Yang. She also left me, Tai, and Summer. Summer was going to tell Yang after her thirteenth birthday and let you make your own mind up. Summer's disappearance changed things. I'll say whatever Digitamamom and Tapirmon attack did to Raven has brought something back." Qrow brought up.
"What do you mean by that?" Pupmon asked.
"In some way, she acts like how she did when we first came to Beacon. She is a lot less certain about herself. Well, I think I've taken enough of your time. I'll see you later, but before I go, I have something to say to your Digimon friends." Qrow got very serious at that time. "You two better take good care of my Nieces."
Both Digimon couldn't speak but nodded their heads. Uncle Qrow was at the door when Ruby spoke up. "Was mom's last mission for Professor Ozpin?" That caused Qrow to turn and look at his youngest niece.
"Ruby, where is this question about mom originating?" Yang asked in wonder.
It's something that's been in the back of my head since talking with Professor Ozpin. Uncle Qrow, if you know, can you; please tell us? Ruby asked with tears in her eyes.
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you, but not because I don't want to tell you. There is just nothing to say. Whatever mission Summer went on, Oz didn't know about it. I do know that Sum would be proud of both of you." After that, Qrow left, and Weiss and Blake entered the room.
Later that night, the Vytal dance was in full swing. The music was playing, and people were dancing. The DigiDestined had arrived at the dance, each one dressed for the occasion. "Wow, you guys did a good job on the dance to gather!" Shockmon said excitedly.
"Thank you, but Weiss and Yang did most of the work. We just followed their lead." Nekomon said.
"Don't undersell your part in creating this. Take pride in your work!" Acolytemon said with enthusiasm in his voice.
"Sure looks like everyone is having fun." Wyvernmon stated.
"I even see CFVY and Penny." Tigressmon pointed out where she could see CFVY, Gargomon and Turuiemon at the snack table getting punch while Penny was between two Atlesian Soldiers doing the robot.
"Let's join in the fun, Renny." Nora grabbed Ren and went to the dance floor.
"We might as well join them." Jaune said as he escorted Pyrrha to the dance floor along with their Digimon partners, who began to dance.
After that Blake joined Sun and the rest of Ruby's friends joined up with their dates leaving Ruby with Pupmon. Even though Ruby wasn't interested in dating, it still left her a little sad. "Don't worry Ruby, I'm sure you will eventually find someone special." Pupmon said.
Ruby just smiled at Pupmon and then the two headed towards CFVY and the snack table, unaware that in another part of the room the enemy was getting ready to put their plan into action. "Is everything ready to go?" Cinder asked subordinates.
"Yes, Cinder, we have everything covered on this end. Elmer all" informed her.
"What about extra security guarding CCT Tower?" Cinder asked.
"Here is the part you are going to love. Ironwood has taken control of the tower and refuseD to let Onimon and crew help protect it. That mean a bunch of red shirts are all you have to deal with." Mercury said.
Cinder's eyes rolled at Mercury space show reference. She quietly snuck out of the dance. She changed into a tightly fit catsuit and put a black mask on, surprising the Atlesian Guards and killing them. The elevator door opened leading to the control center of the tower. The raven-haired woman reached the main controls when the elevator ding and out stepped Ruby with Pupmon.
"I don't know who you're, but we won't let you get away with it." Ruby said, pulling out Crescent Rose. Before Ruby or Pupmon could do anything, the fog appeared, and a humanoid Digimon came out of it wearing a red hood, black shirt, red gloves, and a Mallet in his hands. He was piloting an alarm clock that had an eye where one should be, A claw for the right hand, and instead of having a hand on its left arm, it was a gun.
"Ruby, that's Clockmon." Pupmon informed her partner.
Ruby's D-Scroll Digimon Analyzer opened up with an image of Clockmon. "Clockmon, A champion level, machine type Digimon. Part of the Metal empire family. Attribute data. Clockmon is the protector of time that governs computer's time. He manages the "time" and "space" of all computers and networks between 1990 and 1999, he is able to advance time and rewind time. Because Clockmon possesses an extremely dangerous and terrifying ability, he always maintains a neutral standpoint between Vaccines and Viruses. Attack: Chrono Breaker: Destroys the "time" flowing through the opponent's body. It is impossible for a Digimon body whose "time" was frozen with this attack to recover.."
"I'll deal with them." Clockmon told Cinder as she headed for the main computer.
"Why are you helping her?" Ruby asked.
"Because I've seen the future, and this is the only way to save the Digital World. You and the rest of the DigiDestined are on the wrong side. Only if you joined forces with Ariesmon can both worlds be saved. Join us, Ruby Rose. With you on our side, others will join us. Think of the countless lives you would save, and your mother would be proud of you." Clockmon said.
Ruby seemed to be hesitating because of Clockmon's words. "Ruby, don't listen to Clockmon, he is trying to confuse you! They're working with the White Fang!" Pupmon shouted. That seemed to snap Ruby out of it.
"Thank you, Pupmon." Ruby said, getting into a fighting stance.
"How disappointing." Clockmon fired his laser. Pupmon and Ruby dodged the attack. Ruby used her petal burst head for Clockmon's partner. Clockmon took aim, but a sonic attack hit him. The time Digimon turned to Pupmon.
"I won't let you hurt Ruby and I won't forgive you for trying to use Summer against her!" Pupmon growled. The word Digivolution appeared on Ruby's D-Scroll. Pupmon covered in a bright light. As the data floated down it took the image of Ōkamimon. The image broke back into data and it went into Pupmon. "Pupmon Digivolve to Ōkamimon!"
"Fist of the Howling Wind."Energy in the form of a wolf's head shot out of Ōkamimon's fist. The energy hit Clockmon who retaliated by firing a laser. Ōkamimon blocked this with her scythe blade. Ōkamimon's Scythe made contact with Clockmon's hammer. Sparks came off both weapons.
"Why can't you and DigiDestined see helping Remnant will only lead to the Digital World's destruction!" Clockmon shouted as he fired his laser. Ōkamimon jumped away from Clockmon, but the laser hit Ōkamimon's left shoulder. "You can't win, Ōkamimon. I have seen how this fight ends. You don't come out of it alive."
"Chrono Breaker!" Clockmon brought his hammer towards Ōkamimon, but before it hit, Ruby appeared in front of Ōkamimon. The hammer hit Ruby and broke her aura. Ruby let out a scream. Clockmon seemed surprised by Ruby being there. "Now, your human partner will never recover from this."
"I won't be too sure on that." Ruby smirked.
"T-T-TThat is impossible! You shouldn't be able to move at all. I destroyed your flow of time!" Clockmon shouted while backing up.
"Your Chrono Breaker affects Digimon, but it never said it affects Humans or Faunus." Ruby said.
Clockmon kept on moving away from Ruby until he hit something. He turned to see Ōkamimon behind him. "It's time for you to pay the reaper! Reaper Dance!" With elegant movement, Ōkamimon began dancing around Clockmon and slashing him. Once she put her scythe on her back, Clockmon started to turn into data.
Bright light covered Ōkamimon and turned back into Pupmon. "Ruby, are you ok?" Pupmon asked.
"I will be fine, Pupmon, but we have to stop Clockmon's partner." Ruby turned in the direction of where the woman was, but she was gone. "She got away." Ruby said.
"WHAT IS GOING ON IN HERE!" General Ironwood shouted. This caused Ruby and Pupmon to look at him. "Are you responsible for dead Atlesian soldiers!" He pulled his Atlesian loader and out came a dragon Digimon with a red glowing eye and another eye that looked like a camera lens. It was wearing white armor.
Ruby's Digimon Analyzer App opened up. "Sealsdramon, a champion level Cyborg Digimon. Part of the Dragon Roar Family. Attribute Virus. It is said that only the ones that passed the "Selection-D" , a special selection test that screens through one hundred Commandramon, can Digivolve to Sealsdramon. Sealsdramon is able to move over short distances at speeds that are impossible to perceive with the eyes. Attacks: Death Behind attack with a single blow from a knife sharpened to its limit. Scouter monoeye measures the opponent's vital point in an instant." She read. "Wait, this Sealsdramon is wearing black armor and not white armor." Ruby looked up to see Sealsdramon had Pupmon on the ground with a knife at her head. Right then Ruby felt a gun muzzle against her head.
"James, you better let go before I let Girzzlymon maul you after Qrow's finished with you!" Glynda shouted with an angry Grizzlymon next to her.
Ironwood felt the blade of Harbinger against his neck. "Jimmy, what did I tell you I would do if you hurt my family?" Qrow said in a calm but very angry tone. Sorceressknightmon had her own weapon against Sealsdramon.
Ironwood removed his weapon from Ruby's head. "Stand down, Sealsdramon." Without a word let go of Pupmon.
"Miss Rose, free go at the moment but we will call you up to Headmaster Ozpin later on." Glynda said. Ruby and Pupmon nodded and left the tower.
Hello, everyone. Mobian and I hope you all liked this chapter of Rwby: Digital Tamer. Well, this was the dance chapter and only Ruby and Pupmon stuck to the side. Before that though, Ruby, Yang, and Qrow have a small conversation regarding Raven and Summer. Back to the main event, Cinder sneaks into Beacon's CCT, but not without killing some Atlesian soldiers.
Ruby and Pupmon interfere for a bit, but Cinder gets away thanks to Clockmon who tried using Summer against Ruby. Pupmon digivolved to Okamimon and deleted him. After that, General Ironwood shows up and instantly suspects Ruby and Pupmon for killing his men and brings out Sealsdramon who holds a knife to Pupmon while Ironwood puts a gun to Ruby's head, but lets them go due to Glynda, Qrow, Grizzlymon, and SorceressKnightmon's intervention.
