"Peril across the stars! After seeing the devastating sight of Darth Maul exploding right in front of the team and beating two members of the Masters of Evil. The Wild Force had to retreat to Coruscant, where Evil as well possibly a hidden army that he had assembled from the numerous individuals he has recruited from the galaxy and given powers. Not knowing of the upcoming threat, the Jedi Council and Senate continue to have numerous supply soldiers ready for any upcoming attacks. What matters now is the fate upon Coruscant and its citizens."
Coruscant-Republic Capital
Upon the Republic planet where the people and security had become weary due to the collapse of clone soldiers, right now they were able to recruit several reserved soldiers that could stand in the positions of the clone troopers. Amongst the commotions were senators and other political figures trying to figure out what was their next move. Padme was with captain Typho who was discussing the matters of clone troopers being unable to aid them or the other planets.
"Padme. All of the senators had been gathered at the capital and are seeking answers. Troopers across the system are either passing out or unable to man their command centers."
Reporting to her about the update on what's been going on with the clones leaving many planets seemingly unprotected as well as easy to be taken over. Padme looked at the holograms listing numerous worlds that had been protected by the republic. However now they were all defenseless, except none of them were being attacked by anyone or even the Separatists.
"Then how come no one is attacking us?"
Questioning the matter that in a moment such as this with no clones operating their ships or even at command posts waiting for an attack was now unconscious. No one was attacking the planets, especially now Coruscant which was the main world for the Republic.
"Either way the defense for the planet has been decreased leaving the capital open to attack. We're working on evacuating every civilian and senator that is in the building, I need to contact the Jedi council."
Informing him how that while this was a matter of urgency and danger with anyone who would have a grudge against the Republic. With Typho going to handle evacuations and the requirements in overseeing the safety of the senate, Padme decided to contact the Jedi Temple to see if they had gotten any word from Anakin or Mandalore. Pulling up a hologram of Skywalker he was with Windu and Yoda who had that dreadful expression on their faces.
"Senator Amidala. Or Chancellor under the matters of how the Republic is looking up to you for answers."
Mace greeted her with the new title that she has inherited since Palpatine's men had been arrested for their involvement with the conspiracy behind the clone war. That matter and title had no interest in her since the Masters had taken out half of the Republic's military army with this hidden tactic.
"We've already confirmed that a vote will be held with the current threat and the armies would recover. Right now, I wish to know any updates on Mandalore. We haven't been to contact the planet since its civil war broke out, did anyone contact you?"
Asked them if there was any news about the planet and the civil war ending, however, it seemed that the Jedi had complications in contacting them. The expressions on their faces seemed to show concern and uncertainty about what was happening with Obi wan and the Wild Force, all they could get was static and no means of getting a response to them.
"All we can do is wait until they get the planet's communications back online. While for military news we've been able to contact several Jedi's off world that could gather any allies to come here. Not exactly easy with how the trust is broken, but some believe in the Republic."
Anakin responded to her and how they were able to get several of the allied planets to off any kind of support to the Republic. This notion of news gave Padme a comforted look on her face but conflicted about when they would arrive here. While the conversation overlooks the security of Coruscant, Yoda felt a disturbing feeling from the force. Almost as if the dark side had been wiped out in an instant.
"Master Yoda?"
Padme looked at him confused while the others had been focused on preparing for any surprise attacks, Yoda was focused on another issue. Mace Windu and Anakin noticed the small Jedi's look on his face and how it felt calm, though not without any type of relief as his eyes changed into a serious expression.
"The Sith is no more. Evil is upon us now."
Responding to her and the others at that moment the city alarms were going off detecting an unidentified ship coming towards the capital. The hologram of the three Jedi went away as well as the rest of the lights within the building in an act of fear building up. Suddenly the hologram started back up as it showed none other than Lord Evil who smiled at the sight of Padme as she tried to contact Typho or any guards in the building.
"Greetings senators and other ambassadors of countless planets. As you know I am the man responsible for the death of Chancellor Palpatine, along with the one that liberated you from the Clone Wars. And responsible for the recent attack on your pet soldiers."
Making his introduction as it was going through the entire building as she made her way out of the office and checked numerous rooms which showed his face. Each room had his face along a representative of a republic planet looking at the holographic message that Lord Evil was sending across the entire building. Seeing another room with several more senators and security officers, Padme joined them to see what else the armored madman would say to the people.
"The reason for this message is that I'm not here to attack you. I find political figures more treacherous than me since you govern all the worlds and damn them to war. No, my intention for this attack is against the Jedi. Not you, not your worlds. Just, the Jedi. Reason? Because if there is to be a power that will make all of you tremble and not trust them. It's the Masters."
Explaining his intention for them all to hear that he wasn't after them but the Jedi that has served as the Republic's warriors to handle the conflicts of the Separatists and other threats that had tried to harm them in the past. They began to mutter about thinking that if they and the other planets if they were safe, then they should remain here for their safety. Continuing to talk Padme gripped her fist tightly angered by his request staring at Evil directly in his red eyes with one word coming into her mind.
"No."
Responding to the plan that Evil was explaining to them since she had enough of the destruction, chaos, and pain that has been brought upon Coruscant and the rest of the galaxy. The senators looked at Amidala confused about what she said and were going to argue about this, however, the anger in her eyes spoke otherwise as she stared back at the madman.
"Ever since the clone wars began, I've always believed that the enemy was in front of us. But it was behind us, hiding behind politics and using influences to keep us conflicted with one another. Then it brought you, and you stole something from us. Retribution."
Talking back at Evil on how for the past years Palpatine manipulated the system turning world upon the world for the Sith to return. Seemingly having no idea of when the war would end, he suddenly arrives with the Wild Force who tips the scale of the fight to one another's favor. Then to change it all at Mandalore only to be shown the horrible truth of Palpatine's identity. Then to cut this betrayal go deep, Evil took his life on the planet in front of thousands of planets sending it to turmoil and distrust from one another upsetting the balance of the galaxy.
"While others would thank you for this, you robbed us of him paying the crimes that had inflicted. The lives he's ruined, the harm he's caused upon billions that will never be avenged. You are what remains of his alliance, and what you said about the Jedi? They are protected by the Republic."
Making a strong comeback at Evil he took away a chance for Palpatine to pay for his crimes and escaped the opportunity to pay for how much death he had committed. While informing him that he should be careful about turning his attention away from the Republic even if he had crippled the clone army that had aided them in overlooking the safety of Coruscant.
"And make no mistake, if you believe that will let you come here without thinking we're not a threat. You will not live to regret it."
Warning him about the clones were only half of the Republic's power as they still had enough additional forces to handle whatever Evil might use upon the Republic. Evil took a sec to stare into Padme's eyes seeing how she was threatening him regardless of the countless war crimes he has committed across the galaxy. Chuckling at the sight of this woman standing against him merely made him enjoy the attack even further.
"Quite amusing. I'm going to miss these talks, since after I wipe out all the Jedi. You can have another hobby, such as looking after numerous younglings that'll survive the carnage. Sure, I might be invading a planet but I'm not a sick monster like Maul or Palpatine. I do have standards."
Telling her about the only survivors that he would allow to live would be the children that the Jedi had in the temple not knowing of the destruction coming towards them. Shutting off alarmingly across the rooms warning them about an attack happening. The senators began to mutter about what was happening while Padme rushed towards the windows to see how a state of emergency was activated.
"Get to the bunkers right now, we're under attack. Now go!"
Padme told the senators in the room they didn't respond but were obliged to rush out of the office leaving Padme to stare at the sky where she noticed a large vessel appearing from the sky. It was Evil's ship, which was coming directly at the Jedi temple along with numerous other ships that were following the large ship. Her eyes watched how they were attacking the temple and its defenses.
"Ms. Padme! Everyone is evacuating the building; I must get you out of here!"
A frightened C3PO called out to her as the protocol droid was alerted about the attack and had to escort her to safety. Though Padme felt uncertain about what was happening at the Jedi temple, this made her angry at how she wasn't going to let them get away with this onslaught.
"Contact captain Typho and alert any pilots to get in the air to take down that ship."
Ordering the droid once they get to safety as Padme followed the droid to somewhere safe while finding a way to help the Jedi then stand on the sidelines and let this happen. While thinking about what Anakin and the others are doing right now to prepare themselves for the attack that is descending upon them right now.
Later-Jedi Temple
Above the temple was Evil's vessel along with numerous other ships that were attacking the Jedi without any type of warning to prepare for the attack. Within the command, the ship was the caped armored villain who was staring directly at the temple and the control panel which showed numerous dots of Jedi in the building. Coming from behind was Headcase who was analyzing the structure of the temple.
"Our forces have surrounded the temple and blocked all exit points, we're now preparing for a final assault."
Confirming how the numerous individuals they had converted over the past months were ready to attack the temple and let no one escape. Smiling at the sight how of much was happening and how his forces were about to descend right on top of the temple. While on the side was Ventress who still couldn't take this moment in with delight at how the one place that created so much chaos would become rubble in a matter of seconds.
"Don't like it, Ventress."
A question came at her which was from Evil who noticed how the Dathomirian looked at the temple being attacked, more importantly, that out of the Separatists and Sith that have waged their war on the Jedi. It was a band of mad men and monsters that would be the ones to bring the Jedi order to their knees. Except the look on her face said otherwise to how Evil was enjoying the destruction.
"You're being overconfident. While the Jedi might be this planet's only defense, there are other countermeasures in protecting Coruscant."
Warning him that this was how many enemies of the Jedi would feel like before inventible defeat and possible death. Nodding to her about the notion of becoming too prideful, to which at that exact moment the alarms went off around the ship as it was detecting several Republic ships coming at them. Putting them on screen Evil saw numerous types of fighter ships coming right towards them locking in on the ship.
"Which is why we prepared before making our grand arrival."
Evil instructed her as the ships coming right at them were shot down in an instant and crashed down into the city. Ventress looked upwards seeing several dreadnoughts descending from the atmosphere locking onto any republic fighters trying to bring down their ship. The screen soon activated showing Headcase with several Separatist controlled droids working the control console.
"Evil. We've recovered several ships and droid soldiers ready for departure. All we need is a word."
Informing him about when he would deploy the droids that had been taken from the Techno Union. Evil nodded as he decided to do one last thing to add a rather destructive outcome to the Jedi knights, seeing several of them stepping out of the temple. He and Ventress saw Anakin along with Mace Windu and Yoda who looked above the ship showing no fear of them. They had several other Jedi's with them preparing to face whatever might descend right above them. Pressing one of the buttons Evil turned on the speakers making sure the Jedi would be able to hear him.
"The Jedi Council. The great knights of the galaxy who swore to protect the innocent and uphold the force, look how the mighty have crumbled. Your clone army has been brought down with a single word, the people that you protect now hate you for one of your own starting the war. And now, the people I recruited who've survived this war have been given powers beyond compression. And they're ready to end you with a single stroke."
Informing them about how so much has happened to them without realizing it the clones across the planet were unable to act and aid them in the fight. The galaxy they protected wouldn't look to them the same due to the people not knowing the difference between the light and the dark side. Along the ship and other dreadnoughts had possibly numerous men and women angered by the actions that the war had done to them and their worlds. Yoda, who remained silent looked at Mace and Anakin to see what they would say to this unimaginable threat.
"Skywalker. Sith or not, you're still the chosen one that will end this conflict."
Informing him about the Sith lord gone and possibly Dooku since none of them could sense his presence or the dark side that came off him. This was the last threat that would try to bring chaos to the galaxy and do whatever it took to destroy the Jedi. Seeing the ships not doing anything, he knew that Evil was waiting for a response from him. Not wasting a second he gripped his lightsaber and stared at Evil's vessel showing no fear or anger, but the will to end this assault.
"Whatever the Jedi have done. We will make amends, the clones that you brought down. We will help them, and the people on the dreadnaughts. I'm sorry that the war destroyed your world, but you have a choice. Leave Evil's side, go back to your worlds, and rebuild. That's what survivors do, rebuild."
Responding in the way that Kenobi would use in strategic moments since he could sense the anger from each ship. Each of them was from people that were from planets that had been ravaged by the clone war and possibly not been helped by the Republic. He and the other Jedi waited in silence to see if there was a chance for any of the people on the ships would walk away from their anger. Looking above the ship they saw several entrances opening up from the hull of the dreadnoughts, where numerous people stared down at them ready to leap right out of the ship.
"It's playtime."
A voice telling the people that Lord Evil had recruited it was Igor who was wearing armor and holding a spiked club preparing the group to descend upon the temple. Letting out a battle cry to the villains, the villains did the same before leaping out of the dreadnoughts coming right towards the temple. The Jedi below armed their lightsabers preparing to face whatever abilities the attackers had.
"Aim for the devices! That's how they have their powers!"
Skywalker telling the Jedi around him as the villains landed right onto the ground engaging the Jedi knights. The two forces begun to face one another displaying their own sets of skills and violent personalities as the Jedi did their best to fend themselves off.
"We need to contact the other Jedi forces now before we're overrun by these madmen."
Windu telling Yoda as they could do so much when it came to fighting an army, yet these weren't soldiers but people with nothing to lose and given powers that were unpredictable and dangerous. Each of the Jedi were occupied with the villains and were unable to head back inside, though that wasn't the issue as they saw across the other dreadnoughts was several vulture droids coming out and beginning to fire upon the temple.
"Trouble, I might have with that request."
Responding back as Yoda deflected several of the shots that came at him along the other Jedi as they held their ground against the onslaught. Back on the ship Evil and Ventress watched at how it seemed their victory was at hand, one of the droids were detecting something coming from the atmosphere.
"Sir. We are detecting several ships coming towards the temple, from their original destination. Mandalore."
Reporting to the two about where the ships were coming from which made Evil grip his fist realizing it was the Wild Force and the others. Seeing numerous ships coming from the sky, the dreadnoughts were under fire from reinforcements that began to take out their weapons. On the ground was Anakin who managed to fend off the villains noticed the ships aiding them.
"Apologies for the delay master. We found others who desired to give Evil a proper welcoming."
Hearing Ahsoka's voice threw one of the ships as Anakin saw the other Jedi ships along reserved soldiers that Padme had called out for began to circle around the dreadnoughts making sure they didn't escape. It was a surprising sight where he saw on one of the ships was Obi wan with Deathwatch standing by his side, seeing how they were the enemies of the Jedi it seemed they were on their side.
"Once we land you go for the devices on their chests. Their acting out of anger and blind by the power Evil gave them."
Kenobi instructing Katan as the Mandalorian kept silent since she came here to recover the dark saber from Evil and revenge for letting Mail terrorize her world. Ordering the Deathwatch members to only aim for their devices, they flew out into the fight while avoiding the droids trying to shoot them down. Right above one of the Dreadnought that Headcase was in, Sparky and Ahsoka looked at the ship as well each other seeing how they were jumping right into the fire of battle.
"Wanna say it? Might be our last."
He asked Ahsoka since she could tell from how Sparky was looking at the fight that was raging across the entire temple it seemed to act more than just a Jedi. Looking back at the others, Ahsoka nodded at the dog's suggestion as she gripped her lightsabers knowing what to say in this moment of crisis.
"Wild Force! Attack!"
Shouting out to the team as the seven leapt out of their ship and free fall towards the dreadnought avoiding getting shot out of the sky. Quackers used his psionic powers to place a shield over them, he dealt with the attacks long enough for them to land on the hull. Kizaemon and Ahsoka both made a hole huge enough for them to make it inside for them to land in the hallway. Taking a moment to look around they saw several Droideka's rolling towards them preparing to fire on them.
"I got this."
Zena calling out as she fired three energy arrows towards the three which had them stop rolling. Yet they were still able to fire at them which any of the team could stop the droids, until they were shot at by three bolts. Looking up they saw the Bad Batch coming down joining them to take over the ship.
"Always make sure the enemy is down."
Crosshairs informing them about how one of them could have been shot if she hadn't made sure her arrows penetrated their systems. Not responding to the sniper, Tech pulled out a map showing the structure of the ship as well where everyone was at. Right now at the command deck was one of the Masters and at the other side were several more droid units being sent down onto the Jedi temple.
"Will take out the bucketheads at the docking station, whoever the captain is of this ship is all yours. Don't mess up kid."
Hunter instructing Sparky as the masked dog nodded as the two teams split out going down the hallways to make their way to handle the assignment. The wild force made their way attacking numerous villains and droids that blocked their path from the command deck with no time of slowing down. Continuing to make their way the team saw the command deck entrance where there were several manga guards and assassin droids standing by waiting for their arrival. Ash noticing the staff wielding droids merely groaned annoyed by these droids since they were the most annoying.
"Enough of this crap already. We've traveled all the way from Mandalore to end this, so let's end it!"
Shouting at the moment as the hellfire rabbit opened up his ribcage where he pulled out two missile launchers. Looking confused and nervous at how angered Ash was, they took to the sides seeing him firing off several missiles at them. Smoke filled the corridor as they saw the droids reduced to scrap and broken numerous pieces on the ground.
"When we get back to earth, I'm going make sure you take anger management class."
Speed declaring to his teammate before the group rushed towards the command deck seeing several droids and villains aiming numerous weapons at them. Headcase, at the command chair looked at the team seeing the seriousness in their eyes as well how they planned on stopping Evil and this assault.
"Impressive. None of you have made any mistakes or usually show a charismatic entrance, just like the Jedi and clones. You've adapted here quite well, though someone else would like to say their say in the matter."
The cyborg enemy stating as he pressed one of the controls which showed a hologram showing Evil and Asajj who were inside of the Jedi temple. Who were already inside and had numerous forces handling the Jedis. Taking the moment from fighting the force wielders, Evil smiled at the animals for making it back to Coruscant.
"Isn't this poetic? Us sided with two armies, waging war on a planet and finally. The reason for us here in the first place, the portal."
Telling him in a mocking manner as he shows the Wild Force Quackers lab where they saw plans and other types of designs were made for making their own portal back to Earth. The others got angered by how he managed to get pass several master Jedi and manage to sneak in without being stopped.
"You and I know that we don't belong here. And that this is an example of it."
Sparky stating to him that their stay here in this galaxy has been long enough. From the fights and conflicts that had increased just before coming to this side of the universe, they've changed the outcome of this war and made it impossible for it to end. Evil nodded towards the dog on how he was right that they've stayed here in this chaotic galaxy for a while.
"Correct. Which is why, what better way to destroy the Jedi. Is by giving them a real taste of power?"
Asking him which caused Sparky to get scared about the idea before turning off his hologram. Their attention turned towards the group that had them surrounded preparing to attack them on the spot. Except Ahsoka decided to catch them off by surprise with a powerful force push sending them against the wall knocking out several of them. Taking the opportunity, the others rushed at the villains disabling their devices and knocking them out. Headcase was the only one standing in which he decided to not hold back, using his own technology to activate the defense systems he was about to fire upon the young adults. Preparing to handle them quickly, he didn't notice Speed chuckling at how it seemed Headcase had the upper hand.
"Not wanting to ruin your moment brain boy. But you should have calculated that we aren't alone, and that the people we came with are very angry with what you did on Mandalore."
Pointing out how the people back on the planet had a score to settle with the Masters of Evil, Headcase turned over where he saw one of the ships that came to aid the jedi right outside of the dreadnought. They saw Barriss and her master Luminara as the two used their force powers to destroy the cyborg's weapons. Sending him flying over to the group, Sparky delivered a powerful right hook towards him knocking him out with one punch. Taking a moment to make sure there were no other surprises, the two female Jedi leapt into the command deck checking around if there were any traps Headcase might have set off.
"Padawan Tano. It's been a while since we've seen one another. Especially now that I am a Jedi knight, my friend."
Barris informing Ahsoka as it was a surprise seeing her since they both to continue their training. The last part offer caught her off guard about her becoming a knight like Luminara, it was terrific news to hear but not good timing with the temple being attack.
"I assume you have know what this mad man is actually planning."
Luminara asking Ahsoka and Sparky since they had experience in knowing the armored mad man as they heard a ship passing by. Not one of the dreadnoughts but what looked like an escape pod, taking a moment to sense whoever was in the pod leaving the temple. The two could tell it was Evil and Ventress possibly going to attempt in ending this invasion.
"It's not going be good. We need to head there now, guys? Think you can handle the clean up?"
Sparky asking the others since there were still numerous villains and droids attacking the Jedi temple. The others could tell the pair were going stop Evil and Ventress before they did something that upset the balance of both the force and the planet.
"Since it's serious I'm not wasting any time. I'll give you a quick run there, just hold on."
Speed inciting to take them to where the evil pair were heading off as the cheetah held on by their shoulders before running off in a blur. Hearing the explosions coming outside, the team and Jedi knights saw the destruction that was still happening and required the extra help.
"Anyone have an idea on how to handle this?"
Zena questioning the team since this was unlike anything she's seen since she joined the Wild Force. It was impossible to think of anything at this moment since she believed that the Jedi were able to handle anything, Kizaemon stood by his friend's side leaving the Shinobi to pull out his sword not afraid of the overwhelming odds as he stared at the remaining droids and villains attacking the Jedi.
"We finish it."
Responding to her before leaping out of the window as they saw the hamster blocking the incoming shots at him and joining the others in the fight. Seeing their teammate going in without think, they did the same preparing to end the assault on the temple once and for all as well ending the Masters of Evil.
Outside of the city
Avoiding any detection from Republic authority and distracted by the attack on the Jedi temple. Evil and Ventress arrived to where the device the wild force was working on, landing in front of the building they saw how it was guarded by several guards who noticed the couple. Annoyed by the excuse of protection, Ventress force pushed the guards against the wall knocking them out cold. Heading inside they saw the portal that the been worked on and how it resembles his portal back on earth.
"So this is what brought you to this part of the galaxy. Interesting, but why come here? We were inches away from taking out the Jedi. Why abandon it?"
Questioning his motives since it seemed unlike him to leave a fight due to the havoc he's caused on the planet. Not responding to her, Evil looked over at the controls and remembering how to start it up he begun to work on the panel.
"Because in order to destroy the Jedi. We must remove from this galaxy completely."
Informing her about how he planned to get rid of the Jedi in one fell swoop as he presented to her the dark saber. Opening the bottom, he saw the dark Kyber crystal and looked like any other ordinary crystal. Checking out the power source he charged the dark crystal with his own energy as he placed it right into the container. Ventress saw on the side how he was setting the coordinates was from the Jedi temple to his home planet.
"You plan to throw them far across the galaxy leaving this one unprotected. It's, madness."
Admitting that this plan was both insane and impossible due to how with the Jedi gone the galaxy would be put out of balance leaving everything into chaos. Evil looked to Ventress seeing how uncomfortable she felt about the plan, importantly the fear of how it couldn't work. Walking over to her and holding her hands, Evil assured her about this plan happening.
"Don't worry. The younglings have been escorted out of the temple, so they don't take a field trip with them. Those children deserve a chance at normalcy, leaving us to do whatever we want. A new galaxy without the light or dark."
Promising her the revenge that she wanted from the Jedi and to make sure none of them would be around to bother her again. While Ventress was still unsure of the plan and the outcome, they heard rush of air from the outside where they saw none other than Sparky and Ahsoka standing right in front of the entrance. Speed saw how it seemed they got this handle as he made his back to the temple to help out the others, leaving his friends to face Evil and Ventress.
"Not to sound cliche. But this time, we're going stop you. Right here, right now."
Sparky stating as his eyes glowed blue with electricity expressing a serious look on his while Ahsoka the same since she's been chasing down Ventress for the destruction she had done to the Jedi and the galaxy. Standing side by side, the couples looked at each other preparing to settle their issues and see who would win. More importantly ending the clone war once and for all with Evil's defeat, before he sends the Jedi across the galaxy to Earth.
