Bentley spent what felt like hours trying to figure out what could possibly be going on in Egypt. To his irritation, he just couldn't get anywhere with any of his plans. He knew step one was to locate Slytunkhamen II, Sly's ancestor. The only issue was, Bentley just had no idea where he could possibly be located at. Sly said he was captured too, but taken someplace else. It was unlikely he was locked in the same jail Sly was in, as there was a possibility Sly would've been able to hear him. There weren't any other prisoners in that facility Bentley knew of.

Bentley approached Sly to try to get more information. When he wheeled over to the main portion of their safehouse, all he could see was Murray grasping Sly from his stomach, back facing him.

"Stay still buddy. I know of a trick to get that back feeling better."

Sly was clearly nervous about the 'treatment' he was about to receive. "Murray, it's fine. I'll just pop it somewhere later."

Without hesitation, Murray bent Sly's back against his stomach. All Bentley could hear was a loud cracking noise, making him cringe.

"Ahh!" Sly screamed. Murray dropped him on the floor but Sly landed on his feet. "What was that dude? That…hey that actually feels a lot better." Sly bent backwards to try to adjust.

"Told ya." Murray smiled. "I was taught that in wrestling. Everyone's back hurt often."

Sly noticed Bentley just staring at him with confusion. "What? My back hurt."

Bentley just shook his head, ignoring the two. "Well, I'm glad you're done with your chiropractor session with Dr. Murray. Anyway, do you have any ideas where Slytunkhamen might be? I just can't seem to come up with anything. I'm afraid 'exploring the area' is gonna get us caught fast."

"Why do you say that?" Sly asked.

Bentley thought for a moment. "Well, considering these guards around us are NOTHING compared to the guards we are used to, I don't know. There is a ton of security cameras surrounding the place, too." He tapped his chin, trying to brainstorm an idea. "I suppose if someone were to go exploring, they would need to stay up at the rooftops. I'm just concerned about how we are going to get your ancestor out without being noticed. We got caught by several guards rescuing you."

"Well, Murray got them, right?"

Bentley sighed. "Okay, here is my plan, at least for now. Stay on the rooftops and get me some photos of the area. Just, anything you see. I tried to get Skylar to do it earlier but, well you know what happened. You can still do that for us, can't you?"

"I don't know." Sly stated sarcastically. "You plan on demolishing my back again?"

Bentley facepalmed himself. "I had to get you to the right age! Sorry your back suffered, maybe it's all those years slouching!"

Sly cringed at the rude comment. "Well, that was unnecessary."

"Okay, that's enough." Bentley started to get irritated with Sly's sarcastic comebacks. "This is serious. Can you get me the photos or not?"

Skylar snuck up behind Sly as quietly as she could. "Can I help?" She blurted.

Sly jumped as a response. "Hey don't sneak up on me like that! Apparently my heart is old and is NO GOOD ANYMORE." He shouted towards Bentley, but in a teasing tone.

Bentley rolled his eyes. "Let it go, you were gonna get old one way or another. And no Skylar, I'm not going to risk you getting into trouble again."

Skylar crossed her arms. "Oh why not? I'm a good climber."

Bentley squinted his eyes. "Yes, and then you got arrested."

Skylar eyed him back. "Well, I'll be more careful next time."

"Skylar I said no, that's it. I know for a fact I'm in hot water with your mom, she will kill me if something bad happens to you or your brother. I don't know about you, but being turned into a BBQ turtle doesn't sound like a pleasant way to go."

Sly thought for a moment. He turned over to Skylar to share an idea he came up with. "How about I go get the photos, then when we come up with a plan we can find something for you to do?"

Skylar shook her head. "Yeah, no. I found you, didn't I? What makes you guys think I couldn't find…uh…what was his name again?"

Bentley squinted. "It's Slytunkhamen. I'm sorry Skylar, but I'm telling you no. You are not going to get hurt, or worse, on my watch again. It's not going to happen. I'm sorry I let you go the first time, I probably shouldn't have done that."

Skylar looked over at Sly then back at Bentley. "I'm smaller."

"Hey!" Sly snapped.

"No, actually that's a good point." Bentley laughed a bit. He thought about Carmelita frying him with her shock pistol when they returned to Paris, but brushed the thought off. Skylar was smaller, so she could squeeze into tighter places Sly couldn't, even though he can squeeze into some pretty tight spaces already. Despite Skylar really needing to stay safe at the safehouse, Bentley decided to let her help. "Okay, you can help, but only after your dad gets those photos. We might need you to get into small areas later, I'm not sure yet."

"I can still squeeze into tight places, Bentley." Sly grew a bit irritated. He really didn't want Skylar to be out in the field at all either. "She doesn't need to be out on the field. You were right earlier, she could get hurt!"

Bentley raised an eyebrow. "You wanna gamble with your back again?"

"I'm not getting old!" Sly sighed, realizing he really couldn't fight this battle, nor was he willing to. "Fine, but only if you can guarantee she will be 100% safe."

"You're the one who isn't safe." Bentley smirked. "She will be fine, I promise. Guards can't follow her in smaller areas."

Skylar smiled. "See, I am useful."

Bentley squinted. "Please, don't push your luck, Sky."

Sly pushed his way around Egypt as if it was nothing. He looked around for a bit trying to find a building that would be easy for him to climb on. He soon spotted a small building, quickly latching onto the sides with his cane. He grabbed onto a pipe alongside the building and placed the cane between his teeth. Carefully, he began to make his way up the building, keeping an eye out for any guards that might be on the top.

Pulling himself up onto the flat roof, he pulled out his binocucom and began to scan the area. Bentley soon got on the line to talk to him.

"Okay Sly, you're gonna need to take some photos for me so we can figure out just what is going on."

Sly looked around for a little while, observing a lot of construction being done by Egyptians still in their traditional clothing. "I see some people that look like they belong here building these tall buildings. That's unusual."

Bentley nodded. "Yeah, sure is. Take some photos of that and anything else that looks odd."

Sly hung up to finish his job. He quickly snapped some photos of the builders who were clearly hauling steel beams by hand. He also noticed the man in the suit that had arrested him a few days ago. "Huh, interesting." He muttered to himself. He quickly snapped some photos of the man, thinking about where he even came from.

Sly also took lots of photos of the out of place buildings. Looking off in the distance, he zoomed in on what looked like an old palace with a large cat statue at the front. It was shaped just like the traditional pyramids that were popping up all over Egypt. Sly decided to snap a photo of that too, just in case it would be useful to Bentley. After all, that same building is where he found Slytunkhamen shortly after waking up in Egypt.

Sly was starting to get nervous just standing still on that building, so he decided he had enough photos. He quickly climbed down and made a run for it to the safehouse, avoiding being caught. Murray had left the cave open so Sly didn't have to worry about waiting for him to open it. As soon as he entered, he handed Bentley his binocucom so he could review the photos.

"That is interesting." Bentley noted. "These photos are very useful. Why did you choose to snap a photo of the pyramid?"

Sly shrugged. "Well, that's where I originally talked to Slytunkhamen before we were both arrested."

"Huh, that's good information to know. You didn't realize any of the buildings popping up?"

"Well I zoomed in on the building, Bentley. I couldn't see anything unusual from that distance originally."

"I see." Bentley sat the binocucom on the table. "Alright, just let me think of a plan. I think whoever that guy in the suit is, he is either responsible or he knows who is responsible. He looks like an important guy."

"He's the guy who arrested me." Sly sat down on a chair next to the table. "He said something like you've seen too much or something like that. I didn't know what he was even talking about, but I guess he thought I saw these buildings or something."

"Well, we need to know more. I think I have an idea." Bentley wheeled over to the table and grabbed out a large sketchbook and some pens. "Okay, first, Sly will need to trail whoever this guy is and try to see if he will admit to who he is and/or what is going on. He might even admit to where he is keeping Slytunkhamen."

Sly twisted his cane in a proud manner. "I would be more than happy to do that."

"Good, because I can't think of anything else at the moment. There is one more thing though, and Skylar will be needed on this one."

Skylar perked her head up. She had been in a light snooze sitting on the floor next to the table, but she was able to hear what was going on. "Huh?"

"Skylar, these guys are not from Egypt, clearly. I'm gonna need you to wear this as a disguise." Bentley handed her a small little cloth robe that was just her size. "Just walk around like you belong there. Trust me, no guard is going to want to mess with a child, especially a child from this era. Egyptians don't take too kindly with their children being messed with, so they will leave you alone."

Skylar took the clothing and raised an eyebrow at Bentley. She wasn't comfortable doing this, but she knew Bentley was not actively trying to put her in danger. After all, she did want to help.

"You…sure about that, Bentley?" Sly asked hesitantly. He was not comfortable with the idea of Skylar being in the wide open in a place like this. He felt she and her brother really shouldn't have been there in the first place.

Silvester emerged from a back room in the cave. He approached the gang, curious to know what was going on. He still wasn't on speaking terms with Skylar, but he still wanted to know what exactly was going on, and more importantly when they were going to go home.

"Silver, perfect timing!" Bentley exclaimed. "You're going to hang out here with me while everyone is gone. You're going to keep track of where they go and if they signal for help."

"What's going on?" Silvester raised an eyebrow.

Sly was confused why Bentley would send Skylar out with him and not Silvester. "Wait, why is he staying here?"

"Because he's too scared." Skylar mockingly stated.

"I'm not scared! I just have common sense!" Silvester argued.

Bentley put his hands around his nonexistent ears. "Stop fighting!"

"I just want to go home, uncle B. Can't we just figure this out later?" Silvester tried to negotiate with Bentley, but he knew deep down they weren't going home anytime soon.

"Well, we would, but I just need to figure out what is going on. I can't send you two back by yourselves, because we will just be stuck here." Bentley explained.

"Yeah, Silver. Maybe stop thinking about yourself for once." Skylar was still angry at her brother, refusing to let go of their fight they had the previous night.

"I'm not thinking of myself, I'm trying to think about everyone's safety here. You're so unbelievably stupid."

"Okay officer." Skylar crossed her arms. "If I'm so stupid, why would uncle B ask me to put on this disguise to distract the guards?"

"Probably to get rid of your annoying ass." Silvester blurted.

Sly started to feel intimidated. All they were doing was fighting, and he had no idea how to help. Everyone was under a great amount of stress, but it didn't change how he felt. "Okay, look. Let's just slow down for a bit, can you two just stop fighting for a second?" Sly had no idea how to correct the situation at all.

Skylar eyed her brother, but decided not to carry the argument any further. She knew at the end of the day they had to help her uncle B out.

Bentley sighed. "Okay, maybe it is best we just rescue Slytunkhamen and get the heck out of here. You two really shouldn't be here much longer. We can figure out all this later."

Sly agreed with his friend. He knew if they were to send his kids back, they would just be stuck. They had to stick together on this. At the end of the day, if they leave his ancestor locked away wherever he is, it could detriment the timeline.

Bentley slipped the old robe onto Skylar, who was clearly not pleased with wearing the outfit. "Thanks for doing this Sky. I know your brother would appreciate it."

Skylar huffed. "I don't see why I have to wear this stupid thing, though."

"Because Silvester would blow the cover, you know that." Bentley straightened the robe. "Besides, you play the part well. Silvester isn't going to just hang out, I need him here to help me out with tracking everything. He's a lot better than me with that kind of stuff."

"Whatever you say." Skylar sighed. She walked out of the cave and into the main city and looked around, feeling extremely nervous. She wasn't confident that her disguise was working, but looking up she saw her father wasn't far behind at all, watching everything from a nearby rooftop.

The man with the suit slowly emerged from behind another building with two guards. Skylar, now curious, walked over to them and began to follow, doing everything she could not to draw suspicion to herself. Sly also noticed the man, zooming in on him as close as he could with the binocucom. He noticed he was a large tiger, striking a similar resemblance to Rajan from India who ran that illegal spice business. He knew it wasn't him though, as this guy appeared much smaller and skinnier. He also wore a black burée along with his suit jacket. Skylar got closer to listen to what the man was saying.

"I told you Harold we need to finish mining all that copper and lithium soon. We need to get it all harvested and put away before anyone else discovers it. I'm sitting on a lot of money here!" The man was seen quietly yelling at the other gentleman that was talking to him.

"What about that ancient dude you found earlier? What do you want to do with him?"

The suited man rolled his eyes. "Oh, that guy. I heard about him. Le Paradox warned me about the Coopers. I saw one of them right away talking to that ancient dude so I threw them in prison. I wasn't going to let them stop my plan."

Skylar widened her eyes. What plan was this guy talking about?

"I'm just glad Le Paradox gave me the blueprints to his time machine for this. It was a fair trade for all that ramen I had in prison. Anyway, speaking of that ancient dude you mind checking up on him? I want to make sure he isn't up to anything suspicious." The suited man signaled his guard to check on Slytunkhamen.

The guard's face grew puzzled. "I would boss, but I don't know where he is."

"Oh geez, all of you are so stupid. I out to fire all of you. He is in the underground prison over in that building." He pointed over to a random modern looking building, looking no different than the other buildings. Skylar took a mental note, but quickly noticed she was soon spotted. "Hey kid. You aren't supposed to be here. Where is your post?"

Skylar stood still, not knowing how to respond. "I'm…sorry…" She was trying to come up with a lie as best as she could. "I was just on my way to…help my parents with carrying…the steel! Very heavy!"

The suited man examined her, but bought her story. He shrugged. "Okay then. Just don't go snooping around, you hear?"

Skylar nodded and walked away, eager to share to Bentley what she had heard. Sly quickly went over to her, seeing as she had been next to the man when he was talking. "You hear anything? I tried to listen, but I was too far."

Skylar smiled. "Yeah. He said where your ancestor was being kept." She pointed at the building the man was talking about. "Over there underground!"

Bentley was very pleased hearing the news about where Slytunkahem II was being held. He quickly conjured up a plan for rescue, and then soon a plan to get back to Paris. He was concerned about the mining that was mentioned, but since he saw it hasn't affected Paris too greatly yet he felt they had a little bit of time to address it later. "Sly, I think this is a no brainer, but you're going in for the rescue."

Sly swung his cane around with pride. "Of course."

"Just be careful. I don't want to have to do another jail break."

Sly laughed. "Don't worry about it, Bentley. I'll be invisible."

Silvester emerged from staring at a computer and looked over at his dad with worrying eyes. "You're coming back, aren't you."

Sly's smile turned into a frown hearing this. "Yes. Don't worry about it, I'll be back."

Skylar, sitting in a chair at the table, looked up at him as well. "You promise?"

Sly sighed. Now he didn't want to go. He could see his kids were hurting still for him not being there for so long. He knew he had to, though. He just wished he could absolutely promise he would come back, but the reality is he was not 100% sure. "I'll do everything I can to come back."

"Let me come with you." Skylar begged. "I just want to guarantee you're going to come back."

Sly nearly cried hearing this. He walked over to his daughter who was still sitting on the chair and got down to her level. "You're safer here with everyone else. I'll be back before you know it. Don't worry about me." He looked over at his son, who was clearly bothered by him leaving too. "You two really need to stay together on this."

Skylar looked over at her brother. She regretted accusing him of not caring, because she knew that was a lie. Silvester cared immensely about their dad, but he just had issues committing the crimes with his sister. He was just like his mother after all, and he struggled with his black and white mindset. He was right about one thing; Skylar was no angel. She was the opposite, but never used any of her abilities for good. She had issues following the rules, and instead of just breaking the rules to help she broke them for fun.

Sly slowly left the cave, looking back at his kids with reassuring eyes. "Don't worry about me, guys. Please." He slowly walked out, trying to look away as much as he could. He didn't want to leave, but at the same time he knew he had to rescue his ancestor before things got worse.

Carefully and slowly, Sly climbed back up to the rooftops he was originally on to spy on the man in the suit. He ran across for a short while, finally approaching the building he was supposed to be at. He noticed some skylights in the building to his surprise, so he decided to pop one open. Interestingly, it popped open with ease. Sly pulled out some rope from his red bag and tied it to an anchor point that was actually just a part of a satellite. He lowered himself down into the building, and before landing he noticed it was strangely quiet. No guards whatsoever were in sight. When he determined the cost was clear, he touched the ground with his boots. He snuck over to the elevator, calling it.

The elevator took forever to be called up. Once it finally arrived, Sly hopped in and had it carry him to the lowest point in the building, the basement. After the elevator opened its doors, Sly observed the area. The entire area was pitch black and appeared to have a few cells. He soon heard a bit of singing coming from straight ahead, and soon realized who it was. Without hesitation, he quickly followed the singing, discovering a shirtless raccoon with a large headdress on his head. "Slytunkahmen?" He hesitantly asked.

Slytunkhamen looked up and stopped singing. He recognized Sly from their conversation a few days ago, and couldn't be more relieved to see him. "Ah, Cooper. I'm so glad you managed to find me."

Sly didn't respond, only managing to crack the lock that held him behind bars. It was strange how this prison didn't seem as locked down as the one the guards threw Sly in. Sly figured they knew Slytunkahmen wasn't likely to crack their codes anytime soon, so there was no reason to waste a resource like that on him. Once Sly was done with the lock, the door swung open, freeing his ancestor.

"Slytunkahmen rubbed his wrists and walked out. "I appreciate your kind gestures, Mr. Cooper." He continued to walk, with Sly following. "My Pharoahe will be quite pleased with you rescuing me. As you know I am not finished building the great vault."

"Don't mention it." Sly smiled. "Let's get you back to my buddy's safe house. From there we are going to get you back home where you belong."
