Clemont POV:
Clemont got a bunch of clembots ready. It was easy to do, as he learned from what happened when he lost it in the Team Flare battle, to save its data better. He did tweak it a bit to have them be able to do the research work instead of what he originally had Clembot do. Now, people are able to see what the clembots see with their eyes functioning as a webcam, and people can assist alongside them in their work that way. And they could also be found easier if something like what happened to Mohn happens to them.
Once the clembots were ready, they went to the Aether Foundation and they worked in a contained room. It took months, but they were able to find a way to understand how to make a wormhole and travel dimensions. But the problem still remained on everyone safely traveling the multiverse and not ending up like Mohn. They even have lost some clembots, with their memory banks completely whipped when they found them after they returned to this dimension. It was at this point that Clemont decided that some suits might be needed to keep everyone safe, and him and the Aether Foundation started working on suits that'll make it so everyone can travel dimensions without having their memories whipped. It took a lot of trial and error, but they finally had a clembot safely travel without his memory whipped. And with that, with a lot of help they put in the finishing touches to ensure they could safely travel dimensions.
Back at Viridian City Pokecenter:
Everyone checked to make sure they found all the Ashs that Arceus sent. It seems like all of them have been found, and they really hoped that was the case. Lillie and Gladion went back to help the Aether Foundation with the research. Months have passed and Danny's Pikachu recovered and Danny has fully recovered as well. They were waiting on news with the Aether Foundation. Everyone was training up their pokemon to deal with the long battles ahead of them while they wait.
One day, Lillie, Gladion, and Clemont walked in the door with machamps holding huge boxes and with boxes in their own hands.
Everyone gave them stared at them with interest.
"We have done it everyone! We are all able to safely travel dimensions with these suits!" Clemont shouted.
Everyone gasped with a surprised look.
Paul crossed his arms. "You sure?"
"Of course! Not only did I have the clembots try it, but someone at the Aether Foundation tried it and came back no problem!" Clemont explained.
"Cool! How does it work?" all the Ashs asked.
Clemont gave an overwhelmed look getting shouted at by eight of the same people. "… W-well…" He pulled out a suit and put it on. Then he opened up pressed something down to reveal a bunch of buttons. "See here, is where the control panel is. You can open wormholes to go short distances to parallel universes, or way far out universes by traveling there with these boosters!" He pointed to the back. "If you have an idea of a universe you need to go to and have something or someone from that is a part of that universe… for example, Cesar said Team Magma seems to be doing what they please in his universe. You can press this button to scan him…" Clemont pressed a button and a chest compartment opened up with green light that went up and down Cesar.
Cesar jumped and closed his eyes with his hands up when the light popped on him.
"And after the scan is complete…" The light on Cesar shortly disappeared. "It'll put his universe in its databanks and you just press this to pull up the saved universes and this button to open the wormhole selected!" Clemont pointed to a couple buttons. "You can also quickly transport to other people wearing my suit that are registered in. And if whenever you need to return to this universe, just press this button…" He pointed to another button. "Any questions?"
All the Ashs raised their hands. "… Which button does what again?"
Clemont had a giant sweat drop with a nervous look. "Well… If you ever need assistance or have any questions about it during time travel, you can call me up and I can tell you what buttons you'll need to press when the time comes…" he press something on the other tab and it opened up. It had numbers 0-9 on it and a screen at the bottom. "And during our travels, we can communicate with each other easily, even in between dimensions!"
"Great, more buttons to confuse all the Ashs…" Paul remarked.
"Hey! I understand all of that perfectly!" all the Ashs shouted at him.
"So, are we ready to go?" Goh asked.
"Not quite. We have to figure out the best way to spilt everyone up," Brock explained.
"And after we gave everyone a suit, we need to register names so you'll be able to know who your teleporting to," Clemont explained.
Everyone sat down to have lunch as they discussed whose going with who. May and Cesar agreed to go with each other, so did Lucas and Dawn, Ashley and Iris, Red and Serena, Tom and Mallow, Ashton and Lillie, and Lana and Ashlyn. It was already agreed upon that Paul would watch Meowth.
"If it is alright with everyone, I'd like to travel with Paul and Meowth," N said.
Dawn gave a worried look to N. "… You really want to travel with them?"
N nodded. "I'd… like to see if I could come to understand Meowth. Maybe I could find good in him, so he won't go back to a life of crime."
Iris narrowed her eyes with an uncertain look. "Yeah… good luck with that."
Paul glared at N. "Don't think I'll let you stop me if I ever so think he should be placed in jail if he does anything to backstab us!"
"Come on, Paul. I know Meowth has done a lot of bad, but I'm sure it's because he was influenced to go down a dark path. And if given the chance…" N started.
"He's been given way too many chances! Besides, This isn't something we can be so reckless with! In case you forgot, their boss is the cause of the multiverse being in peril! So excuse me if I don't gave a crap about trying to help out these thieves who we should just turn into Officer Jenny!" Paul snapped.
N frowned with crossed arms. "Well, they willingly came to us and told us the truth. We should at least give them a chance!"
"Really, it's about time someone came to our side," Meowth commented.
Paul harshly glared at Meowth.
Meowth screamed.
"One chance. Again, if he does anything slightly shady, I'm turning them all in."
N glared at Paul, still thinking he's being completely unfair to them.
Gary agreed to watch over Jessie.
"… Hey, can I choose someone to take with? This guy will just put me in jail!" Jessie whined.
"I'll trade ya. It seems like the twerp I first got stuck with goal is to throw us in jail," Meowth commented.
Brock crossed his arms. "Alright, Jessie. Who would you want to come with."
Jessie pointed to Danny.
"How obvious can you get that you're still trying to steal Pikachu!?" Gary snapped.
Jessie started sweating with a nervous look. "A-aren't you blind! I'm obviously pointing to…" She looked around to see who's available, and pointed at the closest one she thought she could tolerate. "… glasses guy!"
Clemont had a giant sweat drop with an uncomfortable look. "I-it's Clemont. Remember?"
Jessie shrugged. "It's always been twerp to me."
"Who of Ash's friends do you not refer to as twerp?" Clemont wondered.
"I'll be glad to watch over James for everyone," Gladion said.
James looked over to Meowth and Jessie with a sympathetic look. At least his guard hasn't threatened to place them in prison yet.
"I can help out too!" Bianca shouted. Then she looked over at James with an embarrassed look. "Oh… I guess you're supposed to choose the second one though…"
James shrugged. "It… doesn't matter to me."
"Let's go together, Misty!" Danny shouted.
Misty glared at him with an unamused look. "Because May can only go with one of you?"
Danny frowned. "No… I really want to travel with you."
Misty crossed her arms and looked away from him with an angry look. "Yeah, right!"
"It's true, Misty…" Danny pulled out a handkerchief. "Remember this?"
Misty looked at it, and then blushed.
"I… used it to remind me of our travels together and the tough lessons I learned from you that vastly helped me on my journey." Danny looked down with a frown as he clenched his fists. "I wish… to be able to do more for you, so I won't lose you here like in my universe…" Danny looked up to Misty with a serious look. "So… I don't want to travel with anyone else, besides you."
Misty put her hand to her face as she stared at Danny longingly. "Oh… Ash."
"So, well you go with me?"
Misty nodded. "I guess if that's how you feel..."
"Alright!" Danny jumped up and hugged Misty then spun her around. "Well show Team Rainbow what for!"
Misty gave a shocked look with a huge blush on her face.
May, Dawn, Iris, Serena, Mallow, Lillie, and Lana all stared at them with a frown.
Brock and Cilan agreed to go with each other, and so that left Tracey and Goh to stick together.
"Alright, looks like we are all set. Now we just have to finish eating, say goodbye to those we are leaving behind, get packing, and head out!" Brock started crying in his arms. "I'm going to miss my little angels!"
Everyone gave him a confused look.
"Angels?" Dawn questioned.
Brock nodded. "My wife and daughter. We also have another child on the way!"
Everyone who knew him, except the Ashs gasped with a surprised look.
"You… ACTUALLY settled?" Misty questioned.
"Of course! He's with Lucey!" Cesar said.
Brock stared at him with a confused look.
"…You mean Holly?" Lucas asked.
"I think he means Oliva," Tom said.
"I'm sure he means Nurse Joy… She was the one who helped him hatch Blissey after all, right Brock?" Ashlyn asked.
Brock stared at them with an unsure look.
Misty crossed her arms. "Well, I'm sure whomever it is, I hope she doesn't have to worry about you doing what you did when we were traveling with each other…"
Brock crossed his arms with a serious look. "Of course she doesn't! I have grown up a lot since then, Misty! And love them more than anything in the world!"
Misty gave a sigh of relief.
