A bit of a warning. This chapter might be uncomfortable for some people.

Reyna's eyes slowly fluttered open, and she stared at the couch she was laying on. She had made it home and then passed out right as she made it to the nearest soft surface. A glance at the clock showed it was only five in the morning. She had only been sleeping for a few hours, so why was she awake?

Reyna sniffled and tensed as she smelled something sickly: coconut and hazelnut. Her eyes widened, and she rolled out of bed. Reyna grabbed the gun from her waistband and aimed it at the woman sitting at the kitchen table.

"Now, dear. That is no way to greet an old friend," Circe chastised.

"Fuck you!" Reyna hissed with a growl as she blinked rapidly and tried to adjust to the darkness around her. She could hear two others behind the couch. "If they move, I will shoot you. Understood?"

"Little wolfy-"

"Don't fucking call me that!" Reyna snapped as she tightened her grip on her gun. She flicked the safety off. "Get the hell out of here!"

Circe raised her hands and spoke, "I only came here to see an old friend."

Reyna took deep breaths and tried to stop her hand from shaking. She could not let fear get the best of her. Reyna slowly spoke, "Leave my house. Now!"

"I'll leave," Circe said as she slowly stood. "It has been almost a year since I have last seen you. I just wanted to catch up."

"Leave," Reyna repeated. She glanced behind her and felt her pulse begin to race as she saw two Cyclops right behind her. "Now! I won't repeat it."

"You and I both know that you don't want to stay here," Circe began alluringly as she started to walk toward the door. Her gaze stayed focused on Reyna, and the werewolf kept the gun trained on Circe. "You didn't want to run in the first place, but you let things get to you. All you had to do was come to me. We could have talked it over."

"Stop talking!" Reyna ordered. She willed her finger to move closer to the trigger, but it wouldn't. "Just leave here."

"Won't you hear me out?" Circe asked sultrily as she placed her hand on the door knob. "I would have given you anything that you wanted, Reyna. All you had to do was ask."

"You're lying!" Reyna called out. She glared at Circe. "Y...you forced me to-"

"I didn't force you to do anything," Circe rebutted. "If I recall, you were the one who wanted to pay me back for taking you in. For giving you a place to live."

"No…" Reyna denied with a shake of her head. "No. That is not what happened!"

"How did it happen, then?" Circe challenged.

"You f... you made me... you..." Reyna trailed off, unsure of what to say. Circe had forced her, right? No. Circe did. She made Reyna have sex with her and other clients.

"Dear, you do remember what happened, don't you? I understand it was a trying time. You had just found a safe place after years of running and fighting. You never had time to process your grief," Circe said as she started to inch closer to Reyna.

"Stop," Reyna ordered. "Just. Stop! Okay?! Stop! You tricked me!"

"I didn't trick you," Circe declared with chilling confidence. "You approached me and said that you wanted to pay me back for my kindness. That you would do anything to make sure that I understood how much you cared for me. You were the one who offered to sleep-"

"I fucking didn't!" Reyna screamed. "I'll fucking shoot you if you don't just leave me the fuck alone!"

"You did," Circe insisted again, and Reyna felt doubt starting to drag her hand down. That couldn't be right. Why were the words messing with her head when she knew the truth? "And, you wanted to take on different clients. You thought it would help you around the full moon. After you lost it and tore your room apart."

"Then, you wanted to do even more and offered to go on these mission runs for me. I never wanted you to be involved in them," Circe whispered. Even with enhanced hearing, Reyna struggled to hear her words. "You insisted, though. You also wanted to keep working with my clients too."

"No," Reyna rejected. "No. You made me!"

"It's okay to admit that you made a mistake," Circe relented as she took another step forward. Reyna wanted to pull the trigger, but she felt her arm lowering the weapon. "That you took on too much. I understand, Reyna. I also know you panicked and were too scared to tell me."

"I wouldn't have been disappointed," Circe added as she strutted closer. Reyna just watched as it felt like the words were paralyzing her. "We would have worked something out, but you ran away. It's okay. You can come home now."

"No," Reyna began. She closed her eyes tightly and started to raise the gun again. "No! You-"

A clubbing blow slammed into the back of Reyna's head, and she fell to her knees. Her gun slipped from her hands as well. Reyna groaned and shot both hands to the back of her head. Circe knelt in front of her.

"Listen to me," Circe spoke softly. "I tried to reason with you."

"You didn't do shit!" Reyna slurred. A hand grabbed the back of her neck tightly, pulling her to her knees and forcing her to meet Circe's eyes. "You're trying to manipulate me!"

"I am," Circe admitted, standing to her full height. "I was going to make this easy by wrapping you back around my fingers with words. You would do what I say, and we would have fulfilled the terms of your contract. Now."

Reyna spat in Circe's face. A hand slapped her hard across the face. Her head snapped to the side, and she stared at the ground. Had she really done that? Reyna couldn't remember the last time that she stood up to Circe. Or that anyone stood up to the monster.

A boot slammed into Reyna's back, burying right into her ribs. A cry of pain left her as she fell forward. Her hand shot out to the gun, but one of the Cyclops picked it up. Reyna was forced to roll onto her back, and she felt Circe sit on her stomach.

A thumb brushed against the mark on her lip, and Reyna swallowed painfully. Circe studied her face and spoke softly, "We're going to make this nice and easy. You are going to work out the remainder of your contract. All two years of it. Plus interest."

"If I don't?" Reyna choked out, despite the fear that gripped her whole being. She knew that Circe could feel it. She was probably drinking it in.

"Oh, then I will hurt you," Circe promised. She dug her thumb into Reyna's scar. "I will mark you worse than before. Then, I will hurt your friends. What are their names? Jason. Piper. Annabeth. Leo. Clarisse. And so many more."

Reyna closed her eyes as she felt her breathing start to pick up; this was what she was trying to avoid. She didn't want her friends to be hurt because of her. And did Circe know about Hylla? Reyna swallowed painfully as she knew what her only option was.

"I'm sorry," Reyna whispered. Tears started to sting her eyes, and she took deep breaths.

"I know you are," Circe replied as she leaned in closer. Her hot breath brushed against Reyna's face. "And, it's going to be okay, little wolfy. I do have to punish you. I do. But, that's okay. Because you need to be reminded of what happens when you disobey me."

Reyna turned her head to the side. The thumb gently stroking her lip slid down to her jaw. Her jaw was grabbed, and she was forced to look at Circe. Reyna slowly spoke, "P...please just... don't do this. I can run whatever drugs you want. I can-"

"Be quiet," Circe intoned. She pressed her nose against Reyna's. "I don't want you to run drugs for me or to take out my enemies. No. I want it to be just like old times. Don't you?"

Reyna closed her eyes tightly. Circe spoke, "Look at me. Or else."

It took a moment for Reyna to force her eyes open, and she tried to blink away her tears. Circe gave her a cruel grin and studied her. Reyna swallowed painfully, "I don't want to do this."

"That's the beautiful thing," Circe whispered blissfully. "I don't care."

"And what if I kill you?" Reyna asked as she tried to put on a brave face.

"For one, you would fail. Two, my men have orders to kill your friends very slowly and painfully. It is such a shame that Lycaon's gang would go to such drastic measures for revenge," Circe whispered in Reyna's ear. Her hot breath made Reyna jump, and she felt absolutely sick to her stomach. "You have a simple choice here.

"You can disobey me, and you know what happens then," Circe listed. Reyna felt ready to vomit as the older woman pressed against her completely. The lips moved from Reyna's ears, but they pressed almost right against her lips. "Your other option is to please me like we used to back when things were simple. If you refuse, my two friends here will have some fun with you."

Reyna felt the lips press against hers, and she did her best not to cry bitterly. She knew this was coming. Nothing in her life ever went well. Her lower jaw quivered, but she forced herself to close what little distance there was between her and Circe. She kissed the Succubus.

"Just like old times," Circe purred as she wrapped an arm around Reyna and pulled her into a deeper kiss. Reyna didn't resist, knowing it was easier this way. She just hoped that Circe would make this quick.
