I hope you have been enjoying the frequent updates, now only if I could do this with all of my other stories! Anyway... I'm annoyed with myself, go ahead and read on! TW! Mentions and Depictions of Physical Abuse.

When Regina woke up Monday morning, she knew that it would be a very painful and stressful day.

Painful it would be because of yesterday's fun event of getting hit by a car.

Stressful it would be hiding the injuries, she already had Billy bothering her because of her mother's past activities. She didn't need people questioning the, now healing, gash on her forehead. Sure, she had a patch of gauze on it, but gauze wasn't going to hide what her mother had did yesterday.

Somehow there were bruises on her than when she was hit by a car. Her mother had left bruises up and down her arms, as well as some cuts on her hand and cheek.

Luckily, before moving in with her mother, she had stocked up on makeup, as well as a variety of clothing that could hide her arms. She showered and got ready.

So she decided on wearing a black, long-sleeve shirt, with a white Alice in Wonderland t-shirt. She wore a pair of overalls with shorts and her black army boots. Her hair was down, and she put a gold beanie on her head and tugged it down to hide the gauze. She quickly went to put on some makeup, she put on a lot of concealer on her hand and cheeks. Then moved on to a light yellow eyeshadow, a small eyeliner wing and some Bloody Mary lipstick.

It was a quick decision to grab the gold dinosaur coin.

She tied her gold bomber jacket around her waist, grabbed her golden backpack and quickly walked out the apartment, trying to avoid her Mother and skipping breakfast.

Avalon was in the midst of a conversation with Ms. Appleby. That was, before a familiar figure had just walked into the classroom. She wore a bright gold beanie.

"Oh sorry, I'll wait outside," Regina spoke, the girl quickly exited. Avalon watched her dark hair disappear behind the door, before turning back to Ms. Appleby.

"Now, I want you to look over this and fix the mistakes that were made and I can give you extra credit. I'm sure if you buckle down from here on out you'll continue to improve in the way both of us know you can."

Avalon took the test, and folded it as she held it. Her eyebrow rose in skepticism. "You're not going to ask me to have my parents sign it?" She questioned.

"I think, by now, I would know whenever my students forge the signature so that's not necessary." Ms. Appleby laughed as she stood up, gathering her things. "Thanks for taking the time to stop by, Avalon."

"No worries." Avalon stood up, taking her test with her. She waited for Ms. Appleby to leave the room before walking out herself. As soon as she stepped out, she saw Ms. Appleby standing in front of Regina who had a piece of paper in her hand, which Avalon assumed was a schedule and such. Avalon then joined her friends at her locker, beginning a conversation.

Regina had stood listening as Ms. Appleby explained that since it was pretty late in the year, there was a lot to catch up on and that she would need a student advisor, whom Ms. Appleby would choose herself.

Then Regina went to find her locker, hoping to avoid a certain group of color-coded teens.

Though that plan failed as she realized her locker was near them, she opted to just walk away and wait for after they left. So far, the day had been spent staying inside the office, filling out forms and getting things ready that her mother had refused to. Which meant that it was very easy to avoid her cousin.

Regina ultimately decided to just leave, ignoring the stuff in her locker, she went to go to an empty bathroom, hoping to fix up her makeup before heading to the Youth Center for a much-needed meal and cup of coffee. Though as she entered, she got the feeling that she shouldn't check on her wound, ignoring the feeling, she continued to take off her beanie and take a look behind the gauze.

As soon as she removed the gauze, the door to the bathroom opened.

Billy looked at his friends. "Are any of you accompanying me and Avalon back to our residence to help set up?"

"Helping set up means cleaning and you know I already do enough of that at home with my Mom being a neat freak and everything," Zack said. He held up his hands in surrender, taking a large step back.

"And I have to do my homework before I go over," Jason replied. "You know my parents' rule." He rubbed his chin, thinking, then turned to Avalon once more. "Though my Mom says 'hi' and she wants to know if you plan on stopping by again." He laughed and backed away with Zack, as Avalon cried out in frustration.

"What up with you and Jason?" Trini fired back to Avalon as the two and Billy headed towards doors of the school to go to the Cranston house.

"Touché," Avalon replied.

"I'll be back, I have to use the restroom," Trini told them, having them nod.

Trini headed to the bathroom, hearing nothing and expecting it to be empty, she was shocked at the sight of a bloody-headed Regina at the sink, observing the injury.

Regina whipped her head to the door, wincing at the movement.

"Oh great. Of course it had to be one of the Rainbow People," Regina muttered. She quickly pressed the gauze back to the cut and put her beanie back on.

Trini's immediate response was to be concerned. "Are you okay?" She questioned.

"Peachy keen," Regina rolled her eyes. "Look I'm fine, don't tell my cousin." Regina demanded, storming out of the bathroom. Trini stood there confused, at the girl's abrupt leave and cut forehead.

Regina stormed out, swiftly and without stop, not noticing that she had passed her cousin and the orange-clad, australian teen.

She rushed off onto the path to the Youth Center.

But as she passed a small alley, she was attacked. Not by humans as what would have happened back in New York. But rather, weird grey human-like figures.

Of course, despite her injuries, she fought them back as she would any mugger.

As she fought them, it didn't take long for her to notice their big target. The 'Z' in the middle of their chests. Immediately, she punched one and watched as the figure fell to the ground in pieces. She went to strike the others in that spot and soon all of them were gone.

She sighed and relaxed before wincing, as she realized that one of them had hit her in the head where she had gotten hit with a car.

Before long, a woozy feeling came over her, and she gasped as she vanished in a swirl of golden energy, just as she had seen a blue one yesterday.

She landed hard on a metal floor. She looked up, feeling her vision spin as pain hit her and she didn't understand where she was.

"What the hell!?" Regina exclaimed, standing in front of a big, glowing sphere. She turned around only to be more confused. She saw a large tube with a man's face, a small looking robot, and random consoles of technology.

"Ay-yi-yi, Zordon! Someone has finally found the Velociraptor coin!" The robot yelled, towards the glowy guy's tube.

"Oh... I get it! I'm in a coma," Regina nodded, backing up, and trying to get away. "That makes sense, explains all of... this." Regina spoke, gesturing to the entire room.

"No, Regina Warner, the Velociraptor Power Coin has chosen you as the new Gold Ranger," The tube, Zordon, said, startling Regina again. She already felt drunk from the pain, oss of blood and adrenaline. This wasn't helping.

"What's a power coin?" She questioned.

"The gold power coin you found in the woods," The robot told her.

"You mean... that, that gold dubloon thing I found?" She asked, confused, she grabbed it off her keychain and stared at it.

"That's the power coin!" The robot explained. Regina stood dumbfounded at the discovery.

A/N:

ONCE AGAIN, AN EVIL, VILE CLIFFHANGER!

You know, one of these days, I'm actually gonna stop a cliffhanger with someone at the edge of a cliff.

Anyway, don't you love Alpha! Like seriously, Alpha is my favorite character, honestly should have been a Ranger!

Regina is Waaayyyyy confused, like she feels drunk. You ever get that, you're so tired(or in blood loss) that you feel drunk?

I know! Trini was the one who found her?! Originally it was to be Avalon, but you know I didn't know how to write that scene for her. Now, whether or not Trini says anything, you will have to see.

I might get more detailed in how Marlene abuses Regina, just a heads up if any of you are uncomfortable with that.

Who do you think her studentadvisor is gonna be?

Fun tidbit: This past week has sucked. My cousin was broken up with so I had to comfort her(I cannot comfort people!) I have just been having some low self-esteem and energy. Not to mention that I've been trying to update some other stories and I've had like no inspiration! PLUS My Mom absolutely does not care to check if my 'mood swings' are anything serious. Like I get really easily annoyed, and then I'll get like super happy, and then super depressed. (No I'm not at the age or circumstances to be pregnant, nor am I 24/7 on my period or anything like that)

ANYWHO'S! ENOUGH ABOUT ME AND MY SUCKY MOODS, REGINA IS WORSE OFF ANYWAY

I do not own Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, the original team such as, Jason, Trini, Kimberly, Tommy, Zach and Billy, and other canon characters belong to SABAN. The basic plot, Avalon and Bailey Mitchell, and other OOC moments belong to the writer AvalonBay, who I thank profusely for allowing me to write this! The only things I own are Regina, her family, and the changes I make to fit her in.

This story is a fanfiction based on the fanfiction series written by AvalonBay. Be sure to read the original! Starts near the end of All To Blame, Chapter 35: Deal Your Cards
