Ash got dropped off the gates of Mesagoza City. He was told that his roromdex is capable to lead him to the school with GPS.
"Bye honey! Have a good day at school! Remember to change your underwear every day!" Delia shouted to her son.
Some girls wearing the Uva uniform giggled as they walked by heading to the city.
Ash sighed with an embarrassed look. "Come on, mom… I've always did that!"
Delia gave a serious look. "No you didn't…"
"A-alright mom. I'll see you later." He waved at her and ran to the city.
Delia sighed as she shook her head. Then she drove off.
Ash looked onward to the huge city in amazement. There were a lot of places to grab food, and he had just enough time for a snack before class starts. The problem was which one to choose from. He finally decided on some ice cream cones after a while, and he got all the flavors from the ice cream parlor, sharing some with Pikachu and Fuecoco. Suddenly, he heard the bell signaling one minute till class. "Uh oh!" Ash sent out Koraidon out and gave it the rest of his ice cream, and it gulped it down.
While he thought the ice cream wasn't bad, Koraidon preferred Delia's sandwiches.
Ash quickly returned Koraidon and Fuecoco, then rushed as fast he could to the school, keeping track where to go with his rotomdex. It was too late though, as the bell to be in class rung as he got to the stairs. However, when he got there, his eyes widened in surprise as he saw an old friend.
Dawn didn't expect today to be like this. After getting her wounds taking care of and having Nurse Joy take care of her pokemon and Miraidon, Nemona and Dawn made their way to Mesagoza City. When they got there however, Nemona had things to do, being student council and all. She made sure Dawn was going to be okay before heading off, and Dawn said she has her pokemon to help her out and should be fine. Then as they got to the stairs, she runs into some bullies harassing this short, red haired girl with glasses and who was completely violating the school dress code. They were trying to get her to join their group called Team Star. Dawn stepped in seeing this, not being able to stand seeing people trying to force someone to do something they don't want to do. They were about to gang up on Dawn.
"D…Dawn?"
Dawn turned to the familiar voice with a surprised look. When she saw him, she smiled. "Ash!" She tried to run to him, but shooting pain from her body stopped her.
Ash ran up to her with a huge smile and hugged her. "It's so good to see you again!"
Dawn blushed with her heart racing as she wrapped her good arm around Ash. "What is this feeling?" she wondered.
Ash then pulled away and noticed her bandaged up. "Huh, what happened?!" Then he glared at Team Star. "Did these jerks do this to you?"
"What? No! We didn't bother her!" one of the Team Star members said.
"Yeah! It's her that was bothering us!" The other Team Star member shouted.
"I bothered you two, because you were bothering her!" Dawn pointed to the student who was violating the school dress code.
"How dare you accuse us of being a bother! We were just trying to convince her to join our group!"
"Yeah! We'll teach you!"
The Team Star members sent out a Shroodle and a Yungoos.
Ash and Dawn pulled out their rotomdexs and scanned their pokemon to learn about them. After that, they sent out Fuecoco and Sprigatito.
Feucoco waved at Sprigatito.
Sprigatito looked at Fuecoco with a shocked looked, then looked back at who his trainer was.
"Wow! That Sprigatito looks exactly like the one Prof. Clavell showed me!" Ash stated.
Dawn laughed. "Well, Clavell was the one who gave me Sprigatito…"
Ash gave an excited look. "Is this the same one? Do you remember us, Sprigatito?"
Sprigatito frowned with a sigh, and muttered to herself on how this could happen.
Fuecoco gave her a confused look.
While they caught up, the Team Star members attacked. Shroodle used Acid Spray on the Sprigatito while Yungoos went at the Fuecoco with Tackle.
Both Ash and Dawn snapped back attention to the battle and tried to have their pokemon dodge. Fuecoco was able to dodge, but Sprigatito got hit with the super effective move. Ash and Dawn gave a worried look, but Sprigatito stayed standing.
"Oh my gosh! You are! You're Ash Ketchum!"
Both Ash and Dawn turned to the voice.
"Nemona? What are you doing?" Dawn questioned.
"Well, I got done with the errand I wanted to do." Nemona held up a black orb. "And was on my way to class… But then I noticed Ash, and I HAD to go see if it was truly him!"
"Wait… Ash Ketchum? The guy who was able to take down Tobias's darkrai?" one Team Star member questioned.
"… And came runner up in the Kalos league?" the other questioned.
Dawn smirked. "That's the one!"
The two Team Star members started panicking.
Ash looked down with a frown, being reminded how he constantly failed.
Dawn looked over and saw Ash down and gave a concerned look. "Ash…"
Nemona glared at the Team Star members. "You two are causing trouble, aren't you?"
"No!" They both shouted.
"They were harassing this person here to join them, even after she repeatedly told them she wasn't interested!" Dawn informed.
Nemona sighed. "Yeah… Sounds about right." She then gave a serious look. Then she took out another black orb and looked at Ash and Dawn. "Here you two!" She then tossed the small black orbs to them.
Ash and Dawn both caught it.
The Team Star members panicked some more.
"… What is this?" Ash asked.
"That is a Tera Orb! If you put a pokemon inside then let it out, it'll come back teralized and more powerful! And if you use a move that it's teralized form is in, it'll be a powerful attack!" Nemona explained. "By the way, the Tera Orb you have is mine, and I'll need it back after you take care of these two for me!"
"Alright, well do!"
Ash and Dawn then tried out teralization by putting their pokemon in the Tera Orb and throwing it back out. Fuecoco and Sprigatito came back out sparkling like crystals with strange crowns on their heads. Sprigatito had something had giant flowers with her crown, while Fuecoco had fire for his.
The Team Star members had their pokemon use Acid Spray and Tackle to try and get rid of them quickly.
Ash had Fuecoco use Ember and Dawn told Sprigatito to use Leafage. Ember evaporated the Acid Spray and knocked out Shroodle while the Leafage hit Yungoos and caused it to faint.
The two Team Star members gave a panicked look as they returned their pokemon.
"W-we'll remember this!" one of the Team Star members shouted.
Dawn crossed her arms with a serious look. "Good."
The two Team Star members then ran off.
Ash and Dawn looked at each other and gave each other a high five.
The girl who was getting harassed walked up to Ash and Dawn and looked away with a bashful look. "Ummm… Thanks for the help. I'm Penny."
"It was no problem at all! I'm Dawn!"
"And I'm Ash! We are glad to help out when someone needs it."
Penny looked at Ash with a thoughtful look. Then she looked away with a embarrassed look. "Oh, sorry! I didn't mean to stare! I was just…" Then she gave a stressed look. "Oh! Right! Class!" She then rushed off with a panicked look.
"Oh right! We are super late!" Dawn shouted.
"Don't worry! I can take you to your classes and let your teachers know that you were stopped by Team Star!" Nemona looked back to where Penny ran off to. "I can vouch for you too, ya know!"
Dawn smiled. "Thanks, Nemona! That'll be a big help!"
Ash crossed his arms with a confused look. "I thought this school advertised that the school doesn't have a bulling problem…"
"Talk about false advertising…" Dawn commented.
"Well, not really!" Nemona stated.
The two looked at her with a confused look.
"Team Star are the only ones. And I…" Nemona pointed to herself. "…quickly take care of the ones that do bother to show up here! They mostly skip school and hangout at their bases."
"Bases?" Ash questioned.
"Yeah. They… I don't know what their purpose is, but they have these bases they hang out at." Nemona gave a stressed look. "Wonder why they don't just get kicked out of the academy, since they don't even come here and all…"
"That is strange…" Dawn commented.
"Oh, right!" Ash got the Tera Orb and tossed it back to Nemona.
Nemona caught it. "Thanks! Promise to get you one when I get the chance!"
Ash looked away with a frown. "That's…"
"In any case, let's get to our homeroom class before we all get into trouble!"
Ash and Dawn nodded and pulled out their schedule and told Nemona where their first class is, and she led them to their classes and explained to their teachers why they were late. Making a note to try and find Penny's class later to help her out as well.
