Chapter 23:

Alexis woke up early the next morning.

Cas smiled at her and joined her to a nice shower.

With her small belly, it become quite difficult to wear her old clothes.

At the moment, she just wore some shorts and an old T-shirt.

Alexis went in to the kitchen and started to make breakfast.

She made pancakes, eggs, bacon, and toasts.

When she was finished, she turned on the coffee machine as Dean, Sam and Lucifer walked in.

"Morning guys," she said in a smile as Cas said "good morning, Dean, Sam, Lucifer."

"Morning," said the three.

"Is that pancakes?" asked Dean.

"Yes, and there is fresh coffee too," she smiled.

"Cool, thanks Alex," said Sam.

"Ye-ah, tha-nks," said Dean with already full mouth.

She chuckled and went to stand by Lucifer.

"I have a little problem," said Alexis.

"What's wrong, little one?" asked Lucifer.

"I need clothes, my old ones doesn't fit anymore,"

"Amm… I see, I can get you some stuff, what would you prefer, stretching jeans or maternity dresses?"

"Jeans, give me a second, I will be right back," said Alexis and went back to her bedroom.

She came back with a short list of clothes and sizes and a small package of money.

"I don't need money, I have enough. I will take your boyfriend, thought, it will be quicker with two angels,"

"O.k. thank you Lucifer," she smiled.

He kissed her forehead and disappeared. Castiel kissed her lips and disappeared too.

Alexis was napping on the couch when a mountain of shopping bags showed up in the living room with the angels right afterward.

"Wow, you are kind of crazy, but thanks guys!"

She had jeans, blouses, and dress of every color and shape, some underwear as well, as she asked.

They even got some babies clothes and stuff.

"Your boyfriend saw a babies' shop and was glued. Where are the boys?"

"They got a case, some werewolves in Orlando so they shouldn't be away for long, probably just a couple of days," said Alexis.

"O.k. then, let's arrange your closet until they come back or call for help," he smiled at her and sent her bags upstairs.

It was a couple of hours later when they finished arranging her closet.

Alexis was now sleeping deeply, resting.

Lucifer was sitting in the living room, with Cas by his side, watching some TV.

"What on your mind little brother?" asked Lucifer.

"Alexis, the baby, Sam, Dean,"

"What about them?" asked Lucifer.

"The boys can protect themselves, they did it long before I joined them, but Alexis and the baby… They are defenseless, and I know that Dean and Sam will do whatever they can to protect them, but could they really do that?"

"That's why you are here for," said Lucifer.

"If I die, can I trust you to keep them safe? Please?" asked Cas.

Lucifer stared at him for a moment.

"I will keep them safe, little brother, all the Winchesters, I promise," said Lucifer.

"Thank you," sighed Cas in relief.

"Now chill, and let me watch some TV, this show it quite odd and amusing,"

It was cartoons.
