Reaching upon Stone Town, Oakley and her friends made sure the small Sneasel was protected by their will. With the Chesnaught still guarding the entrance of the village, it took him a few minutes to figure out why the former corgi; Oakley looked different.
"Hey! You, Traveler!" Yelled the Chesnaught guard as Oakley and her team stopped by. "What're you-"
"I'm not a Yamper anymore in case you're wondering.." The Boltund blurted out before she could head back to the entrance of the village. "Been fighting some Sneasel butts earlier so that's why I look different."
"A-And those scars.." The guard looked surprised as he noticed the claw marks on her back. "You truly are one hell of a fighter."
"You bet I am!" Oakley replied in a gleeful tone. "Been training myself in order to become an explorer!"
Oakley took a few steps for her to finally reach where she could get the rank she deserves; an explorer. "It takes a bold and brave Pokemon like me in order to become one."
Penny quickly ran up to her, breathing hitched and on the verge of passing out. "Well, you could've waited for us next time!"
"Oh, don't be so snarky, Penny. As a leader of Team Blytz, there's a chance we'll become explorers." Oakley responded before she could place her paw against he door, only for the shiny Snubbull to stop her from doing so.
"How about we get you to the medbay first, then we can get the explorer job. How's that sound?"
At first she was going to refuse, but remembering Adir being sent for medical treatment, she had no choice but to accept the bulldog's request. "Alright. Medbay first, then explorer job last.."
With both Penny and Adir underneath the blossom tree, and Vivian fully wrapped around a blanket to avoid further investigation, Oakley is inside the medical center, getting her wounds treated. It was a difficult start, but it was enough for the bandages to heal her scars.
"Penny, do you think Oakley's gonna come out anytime soon?" Adir asked, confused.
"She'll be out of there any moment now.." Penny scoffed. "Besides, we've gotta get that explorer rank before someone else finds out we have a Sneasel around."
"And how did you know about letting Sneasels in the village?" Adir wasn't sure why Oakley or Penny would let a distressed Vivian out in the open village, still not knowing she needs time away from her clan leader. "I mean, they're outcasts. How are we gonna let her become an explorer if she's already a dark-type?"
Penny thought for a moment. "Not too sure. If the village accepts friendly Sneasels like Vivi as an explorer, then maybe she can finally have a lot of time away from her clan leader."
Adir opened his mouth to talk, but he soon stopped as he turned and watched Oakley run out of the medbay, a smile growing on her face. "ALRIGHT! LET'S GET THAT EXPLORER JOB!"
"WAIT! YOU HAVEN'T EVEN TOLD US YOU'RE BETTER!" Penny yelled as she quickly followed her lead, alongside the covered-up Sneasel and the one-armed Tyrouge.
Oakley slammed her paws against the door, gazing her eyes upon what appeared to be a shiny Bewear, staring at her, astonished. "My, look how big you've gotten!" The giant red panda spoke in amazement as he eyed upon the large Boltund walking by him. "When I first saw you, you used to be a small fluffy-"
He stopped to gaze his eyes upon Adir, a shiny Tyrogue with only one arm. "That..Tyrogue doesn't look too good. Does it need-"
"Nonsense. Last time we checked he's already better.." Oakley let out a hearty chuckle as she went over to Adir. "Unfortunately he had to get his injured arm amputated but he somehow managed to fight off a bunch of Sneasels earlier!"
"No wonder why he's so bold, even for a one-arm!" The shiny red panda guffawed, staring at the shiny Tyrogue's proud expression, then back at the creature, a blanket wrapped around their body. "And that...Oakley that's a Sneasel.."
"Oh, Vivian? She's not like she's gonna hurt you.." Oakley responded as she took Vivian over to the giant red panda Pokemon. "We just had to wrap her around with a blanket to avoid further investigation."
The Bewear still didn't know why Sneasel's could be dangerous, but as a Stufful he'd met a friendly Weavile before he was killed. "Well, I've met a friendly dark-type before, but unfortunately he died.."
Oakley's smile severely droops. "I-I'm..oh Arceus, I'm so sorry.." The Boltund sighed sadly.
"No worries, Oakley." The shiny Bewear responded, still down from the death of his friend. "But that Sneasel's friendly, is she?"
"Unlike others, Vivian can't actually hurt people. Even when threatened, she actually backs away and runs off." The Boltund explained as she placed a paw against Vivian's shoulder. "Despite being a dark type, she can actually run off if provoked."
"Ah! I see!" The red panda gleefully yelped, pulling out a container of explorer scarves. "Well, as long as they don't see her, then she'll become an explorer!"
"How'd you know if as an outcast, how can she become an explorer?" Adir asked, unaware. "She's not brave, but how can she become an explorer?"
"Well, it takes bravery to become one, but for Vivian, I'm going to give her the job she deserves." The hulking Bewear answered as he pulled out each gray scarf out of the plastic container. "And I'll be giving out some badges."
"Yeah, I helped a shiny Tyrogue from the Mighty Fang and took Vivian out of the Weavile territory from her..well..uh..clan leader.." Oakley muttered, leaving the Bewear frozen in astonishment. "Yeah, pretty cool, huh?"
"Then that makes you a bold-hearted explorer, Oakley! With those moves you've been learning as a youngster, that makes you a good leader!" The Bewear cheered as he slammed four of the metal badges against the counter.
Adir took a gray piece of soft fabric off the counter before standing there, completely silent. "Uhh, how and I supposed to wrap this around?"
"I'll help." Penny started as Adir began to kneel. He offered her the scarf and wrapped it around his right arm, tying it up to avoid it from falling off. "It's difficult to put this on, especially as a one-arm."
"And Penny sure has a good heart." Oakley chuckled. "She's always there to help the wounded out, especially Adir."
Oakley was about to grab the scarf with her paw, but by seeing Adir struggle to put on the fabric, it gave her the same situation as well. "Of course I need help from Penny. Can't even put this on, especially as a four-legged dog.."
Penny turned around and noticed Oakley stare at the scarf for a moment. Walking by her, the Boltund kneeled down and closed her eyes as the Snubbull began to wrap the scarf around her neck, tying it up to avoid it from falling off. With that finished, Oakley opened her eyes, stood up and lowered her head to finally see the scarf wrapped around her scruff.
"Thanks, Penny." Oakley spoke gratefully. "Definitely needed some help after all."
Vivian finished wrapping the scarf around her neck before attaching the badge onto it. "And maybe we need some help attaching the badges onto our scarves as well." Oakley said as a matter of fact.
Penny ran up to Oakley before sticking the metal badge onto her scarf, before she went back to Adir and did the same. With Vivian fully able to attach the badge onto her bandanna, she went back to Oakley to stare at the badge attached to hers with audacity.
"Now, you four have to come up with a team name-" Just before the Bewear could finish his sentence, Oakley placed a paw against the counter and opened her muzzle to speak.
"We already came up with a team name. Team Blytz." Oakley blurted out.
He hesitantly stared at Oakley with her matter-of-fact expression. "Oh, well..Team Blytz it is.."
"You four are officially explorers!"
Oakley jumped around excitedly, Penny lowering her head as she attempted to avoid her friend slamming into her. "YES! WE'RE EXPLORERS NOW!"
"Alright, Oakley. I get it's all fun and games, but we gotta head out and go somewhere else and find some missions to go through.." Penny growled as she slammed a paw against the counter, both Oakley and the shiny Bewear jolting from the loud banging. "Plus, we gotta get Vivian outta here before someone else finds out we have an outcast around."
Without further hesitation, the four soon headed out of the explorer post, only for Oakley to stop and stare at another Boltund. "Guys, that's my father."
"Oakley.." The Boltund froze to stare at his daughter's figure. "You've..You've evolved.."
"Yep. I'm no longer a small Yamper now.." She chuckled, bumping her paw onto Penny's back. "Penny and I went through some exploring to save a couple of Pokemon from danger.."
The dog, Rai opened his muzzle to talk, only for him to stop and stare at the blanketed Sneasel behind Oakley. "And that..this is..Vivian. She's not like she's going to hurt you, I said that before."
"Oh..the Sneasel you met as a kid.." Rai responded. "She looks..a bit taller now.."
"Yeah, even though she's still..young.. But, we're friends now!" Oakley spoke as she continued on preventing Vivian from going any closer. "I've met her when I was only a..tween in human years, but.. A few months have passed and Vivi and I are close friends!"
"Well, as a young adult, you're fully able to go outside the village." Rai spoke before he could say anything else, only for him to stop and notice the badge attached to her scarf. "And that..you're becoming an explorer now?"
"Yep! Been having some mild conflicts but we're explorers now!" Oakley responded heartily as she revealed the badge to her father. "We all got badges!"
Rai gazed his eyes upon the shiny Tyrogue, Adir, then Penny, now back at Oakley. "And these are you're friends.."
"Adir's the one Penny and I saved from danger earlier.." Oakley responded, trying not to mention the Mighty Fang. "He unfortunately had to get amputated but he's not giving up!"
"Ah, I see.." Rai turned away before darting his eyes back at Adir. "Well, at least you're making new friends now.."
"Oakley, I think we should go now.." Penny whispered as she tugged onto Oakley's arm, but she ignored her. "OAKLEY.."
"As an explorer.." Rai let out a sigh before finishing his sentence. "It takes a brave figure in order to become one. With those moves you've learned as a kid, it's best that..it's time to-"
"Leave as an explorer team? Dad, I have friends, they're going to help me so that way I can't get lost.." Oakley spoke before Rai could finish. "Promise I'll come back someday.."
Rai let out a sad sigh. "Well, it's your choice.. I'll miss you." He then placed his head underneath Oakley's scruff.
"I'll miss you too, Dad.." Oakley responded with a whisper before breaking the hug. "Promise I'll come back someday.."
Before her father could say his final goodbye, Oakley and her team all faded into the distance.
They were several miles away from Stone Town. According to Oakley, there's no chance of coming back unless stated so. Footprints visible on the grass, raindrops falling from the clouds, and the blue sky fully covered in grey.
As a choice of being an explorer, Oakley made her decision to leave Vivian away from her abusive clan members; including Griff. "So, Oakley..about our job.."
"Penny, we're not going back..as an Explorer, we have to go far away from the village in order to fight off dark-types and save the injured." Oakley spoke, as a matter of fact. "It takes a brave 'Mon in order to become leader."
"But, I should've been a leader!" The shiny bulldog growled. "You want to become leader of the team so you can get yourself killed from some Weavile who wants his daughter back!"
"Vivian is not Griff's daughter, Penny.." Oakley curled her face into a snarl. "Vivian didn't have any parents back then. When she was a kit, she ended up getting raised by him, thinking Griff was her father.."
"BUT SHE-"
"THEN PROVE IT, STRONGJAW!"
"ENOUGH! BOTH OF YOU!" Adir screamed, Penny and Oakley jolted from the Tyrogue's yell. "GET A GRIP ON YOURSELVES!"
But Penny ignored Adir's confession. The shiny Snubbull jumped on top of Oakley before proceeding to wrestle her. "I MAY BE A STRONGJAW, BUT WE'RE NOT GOING THAT FAR AWAY!"
"GET OFF ME YOU FUCKING MANIAC!" Oakley roared, flinging her limbs around in attempt to break free from the Snubbull's grasp.
"Guys, please! T-That's enough!" Vivian stuttered, trying her best to not let tears fall from her eyes.
"I SAID ENOUGH!" Adir yelled as he grabbed Penny by the scruff from Oakley. He then placed the angered Snubbull on the ground, leaving Oakley motionless with fury. "Do you want every outcast to notice us on the perimeter!?"
"QUIT ACTING LIKE JERKS AND KEEP WALKING!"
The three Pokemon froze at the Tyrogue's sudden outburst. He didn't mean it for Vivian, but he did it for both Penny and Oakley to stop them from fighting. "Look, I understand we can't go any further, but we have to. We're explorers for Arceus's sake."
Vivian froze like a Deerling in headlights after hearing the shiny rookie's outburst that caused both dogs to stop fighting. "Guys, we don't want to fight off another pack of Sneasel again. Yelling at each other is going to make it even worse."
"See, I told you.." Oakley growled, curling her muzzle into a snarl. "I told you to get off me.."
"And Vivian, she's already scared just because you're fighting! We're explorers, not a bunch of circle jerks!" Adir spoke as he went over to Vivian before hugging her. "We're meant to fight off thieves and explore in faraway places.."
Oakley's angered expression faded softly. "If you're going to keep on fighting, there's a chance you'll break up the team! Do you want this to happen?" Adir growled, making a point.
"Adir's right, Oakley. If you're going to keep on arguing, you might just break up the team.." Penny responded as she turned over to her Boltund friend. "We're explorers, not circle jerks."
"You're right, guys.." Oakley let out a deep sigh of regret. "Promise I won't do that again.."
"You two are just a bunch of cuckoos.." Adir spat as Vivian held onto him in place. "We're only here just to explore and do missions, not stand here and fight like outcasts.."
"Says Captain Obvious.." Penny snickered, only for Oakley to slam her paw onto her back. "I was only joking!"
"Guys, less arguing more walking.." Adir said as he led Vivian out of the droughted area, Oakley and Penny followed him in his steps.
A few miles in, and the weather started to fall cold. Raindrops fall from the sky, and it was brisk than before. The grass became plastered with water and the prints are fully visible in its tracks. With sheer effort, the team made their attempts to find shelter, but to no avail.
Finding trees for shade wasn't enough as the floor was too muddy. Looking for bigger leaves could be difficult to find, and looking for isolated houses is too far away from Stone Town. Abandoned villages once taken over by outcasts are now left in shambles, and it could take a long walk in order to sleep in.
Thunderous booms can be heard prominently, and the floor begins to fall muddy and wet. Vivian thankfully had a blanket wrapped around her full being, but for the rest of the team, they shivered into the cold afternoon. Penny's fur was matted from the excess dirt and rain water, and Oakley's full being was wet and dusty from the fight, dirt marks are visible across her body.
With her bandages, it wasn't enough for them to last as the rain continued to fall. Now her wounds are visible across her back and her ear.
With Adir, he became cold and tired. With his legs becoming sore and his struggles to keep up any longer, he was on the verge of falling to his knees. Penny was on Oakley's back, still keeping on hold of her wounds with excess fabric, and Vivian was keeping hold on Adir in case he falls down.
Team Blytz has been walking across the isolated area for several miles and to no avail, they haven't found a single housing place to sleep in.
Hours and hours have passed, and no housing area to stay the night in. The temperature decreased and Adir was covered in a blanket Vivian was wrapped around in. Penny didn't feel cold, but her fur was dirty and matted with dirt and rain water. The team has been walking for hours, and they showed some signs of taking breaks.
The dark commenced, but no moon started to shine. Only clouds are there to block it.
"By..Lunala's light..give us somewhere cozy to sleep in.." Oakley whispered inaudibly, her voice quiet enough to not make the others notice.
It was dark enough for the others to lose track. With the clouds blocking the sky and the foggy area, the team was lost. Lost in an isolated area, with nowhere to sleep, nowhere to eat, and nowhere to play at. "Damn it..we're losing track.."
Fortunately, there was a hollow log just a few feet away. With Penny still on her back, Oakley took slow steps to finally reach the hollow log, leading Vivian and Adir to a safe spot. She raised her head to make sure no predators were there. After a few moments, it was clear.
Oakley slowly slid herself into the hollow log with Penny still onto her back. Placing the shiny Snubbull onto the wooden floor, she turned over to Vivian, placing the tired Adir as he leaned against the wall of the log.
Watching the tired team members lay themselves down and close their eyes, Oakley smiled weakly before placing her head down. "Arceus, if you're there please let us find a comfortable place to sleep in.."
Before she could finish praying, she closed her eyes and everything went dark.
Morning came, and Oakley slowly opened her eyes only to find herself, caked in snow. She let out a yelp and quickly turned around, noticing that the rest of the team; except for Adir is gone. "PENNY!? VIVIAN!?"
Her yell woke the tired Tyrogue up. He jolted and quickly rubbed his eyes to figure out why Oakley was scared. "Uugh.. Oakley, it's too early for us to get up. Why are you yelling like that?" Adir asked weakly.
"PENNY AND VIVIAN ARE GONE! WE GOTTA-" Before Oakley could finish her sentence, a snowball was thrown onto the back of her face. "Arceus, damn it.. WHOEVER YOU ARE, QUIT THROWING-"
Just as the Boltund left the hollow log, she saw both Penny and Vivian throw snowballs at each other. "Oh, there you guys are.." She sighed, relieved to find both her friends outside the sleeping log.
"We're having a snowball fight!" Cried the excited Vivian as she raised her hand to throw a snowball at her. As the snowball was out of her claw, Oakley quickly managed to catch the ball seconds after.
"Not in a mood for snowball fights, Vivi.." Oakley spoke as she threw the snowball back at her. "Okay..maybe I am!"
The Boltund begins running around with her Sneasel friends as they both throw snowballs at each other; including Penny, who was the one throwing snowballs first. The snow games were fun at first, but soon it had to end as they stop and turned to Adir, slowly coming out of the log with snow all over onto his full being.
"Don't you guys realize how much snow I have on right now?" Adir asked as he dusted the snow off his body. "I would've gotten frostbite if you guys aren't there."
"Oh, we're just having a snowball fight. Wanna join in?" Oakley asked enthusiastically. Her request still wasn't enough for Adir as he proceeded to grab the blanket and step out of the log.
"No time for snowball fights, Oakley. We're only here to explore and complete missions." Adir responded before Vivian could run up to him. "The snow could've been deep enough for me to die alone.."
And with no choice, Oakley led both Vivian and Penny over to Adir as they all walked to their designated path.
Oakley's footprints are now more prominent across the snow, and thanks to her team members, this prevented her from getting separated.
Their legs began to fall sore thanks to the deep snow, but they didn't show signs of stopping. Just as Oakley was about to say something, she tripped onto what at first glance was a boulder. Stumbling onto the floor before falling, she quickly got up and heard inaudible groans.
"Wait..guys I heard something.." Oakley muttered as she ran up to the team before turning back at what appeared to be a white fox, hair and scruff with a red gradient on its tips. "Guys, that's..that's a rare varient of..Zorua.."
The unknown Zorua slowly got up and turned over to Team Blytz. It was about to run, but the deep snow prevented it from doing so. "Is it an outcast?" Vivian asked, still not knowing rare variants of Zorua are not dark-types.
"That might've been.." It turns out, it was a Hisuian Zorua, eyes full of distress and fur caked with snow. "This..doesn't look like an outcast.."
The Hisuian fox let out a short plea, thinking that the team was there to hurt it. But instead, they were there to bring it back to their home. "P-Please..I'm too young to get eaten.."
"We're not here to hurt you, little one.." Oakley cooed as she kneeled over to the ghostly Zorua. "We're only here to bring you back home."
"Say, where do you live exactly?" Penny asked out of curiousity.
"I..I live at..Snowfall Village." Finally, the Zorua answered back. "It's..huge and..there's thousands of villagers who live there.. My mama's getting worried about me so..I want to be taken back home.."
"Don't worry, we'll take you back to your mama." Oakley promised as she carried the Hisuian Zorua by the scruff of its neck. "Snowfall village. That's where he lives."
"Oakley, less talking more walking. We gotta get that ghost fox back before his mom freaks out." Adir spoke as he trudged through the snow, showing no signs in giving up.
Fortunately the village wasn't too far away, but it was surprising for them to notice larger buildings across the area. Small buildings, bigger and fancier houses, a waterfall, and fully crowded with farms and outposts.
The deep snow prevented them from going any faster, but they didn't try to give up...yet.
A few miles in and Team Blytz finally reached where they could drop off the Zorua, Snowfall Village. Much to Oakley's awe, it was enough for them to finally find a place that's comfortable and warm for them to stay the night at. With larger posts and roaming residents, it didn't take long for her to notice something quite unusual.
The sign read, "Everyone is welcome; including friendly outcasts!"
"Weird.." Oakley thought for a moment. "I thought this village doesn't allow outcasts.."
"As long as they're friendly, this village always allows outcasts; especially Vivian.." Penny responded as she patted Vivian's back. "She's a friendly Sneasel and she's not like she's gonna hurt anybody!"
"Penny, that's my line.." Oakley snapped back.
Just as the team started to walk around the village, they stopped as the Zorua finally found what appeared to be a Hisuian Zoroark, staring at the four team members, like a Braviary waiting for its meal. Oakley stood there hesitantly, still staring at the ghostly Zoroark's eagle eyes.
The small ghostly Zorua quickly broke free of Oakley's grasp before running over to his mother, hugging her as tight as he could. "MAMA!" Cried the happy Zorua as he laid his head against his mother's shoulder.
He then turned back at Team Blytz with a happy expression. "Thanks for taking me back, Team Helpers!"
"Ooh! Team Helpers would've been a better name!" Vivian spoke, trying her best to hold in her laugh. "Team..pff..Helpers!"
"Yeah, Team Blytz sounds a bit better.." Oakley sighed in annoyance. "Team Blytz.."
Just as the shiny Snubbull waved the Zorua goodbye, the ghostly Zoroark curled her face into a snarl, before walking away. "Jeez..she's creepy.."
"Creepy as we thought, Penny. Hisuian Zoroarks could snap their prey's bones off in a matter of seconds.." Oakley spoke as a matter of fact. "She looks pretty dangerous, to be honest.."
Before Penny could say something else, the sheer smell of cooked fish and Oran berries invaded her senses. "Guys, I smell something..FOOD!"
Oakley tried to stop Penny from going any further, but she was pretty hungry anyway. Without a doubt, Oakey had to follow Penny over to the cooking site with the others to find what caused them to stop and stare. Freshly sliced Pinap berries next to cooked sushi on a tray.
"I didn't know Pokemon could make human food!" Penny shook in awe, still not knowing what the term "human food" meant. "And to hell and back, it smells really good!"
"Penny, I don't think we're-" Adir responded back, only for his stomach to growl. He was hungry, and he hadn't had anything to eat, so he made a choice to eat something he never tried before. "You know what, how about we can just eat? I'm gettin' pretty hungry- NO..STARVING LIKE A OBSTAGOON READY FOR IT'S MEAL!"
"If you say so.." Oakley laughed at Adir's final sentence, walking over to the Floragato, waiting for its customers to show up and ready to eat their meals. "Four, ple-"
"Snowy days, Boltund friend!" The grass cat blurted out just before Oakley could finish her sentence.
"Uhh..what's that supposed to mean? Like "Hello" or something?" Asked the confused Boltund, her only reply was given with a, "It's a winter greeting! We always have winter weather here at Snowfall village."
"Okay..uhh..Four please.." Oakley muttered before the Floragato could lead the four others to a table booth. Oakley and her team members all sat down before the Floragato could place each menu on the table. "Feel free to order what you want."
As the grass cat Pokemon walked away, Oakley placed a paw over to the menu, turning the pages and still unsure what she was going to get. Salmowave rolls, cucumber rolls, hell even fresh miso soup.
Figuring out what to eat, Oakley decided to order what was good for her. A tray of Silverfrost rolls, fresh rice, and miso soup. Penny also chose what Oakley had ordered, except to replace the Silverfrost rolls with Kingler rolls. Vivian chose the same Penny ordered, except to make it just the tray. Lastly, Adir ordered the cucumber rolls, minus the Krabby.
With these finally ordered, the Floragato walked back to where the team was sitting and Oakley proceeded to order what they had come up with. Explaining what to eat, the cat wrote down everything on her list and proceeded to run off to make their food.
It didn't take long for four trays of sushi rolls; including a couple bowls of rice and a few bowls of miso soup to come along the way. Sliding their orders on the table, Oakley stared at her Silverfrost rolls, mouth watering in the process. "I never had those before.."
"Well, Silverfrost rolls contain pieces of..smoked Poke tail meat, avocado, and cucumber." Adir spoke, making a point. "You never had these before so you might wanna try them to see if their good."
Oakley scarfed down on the whole sushi roll in one go, still not knowing how good it was. With the taste of smoked salmon combined with crab meat, and the infused taste of avocado and cucumber invaded her tastebuds. It was DELICTABLE for the Botund.
Before Adir could tell the team to eat, Oakley began wolfing down on the sushi rolls in one go. "Woah- Try not to eat too fast..otherwise you'll get-"
Penny did the same as Oakley, scarfing down the sushi rolls in one sitting. "Penny too.." Adir sighed before he began to eat in a polite manner.
Both Penny and Oakley ate like maniacs, while Adir continued eating in a gentleman-like manner, still consuming his rolls like a proud sir he is. With Vivian, she acted the same as Adir, but instead she started to eat as fast as the two dogs.
Before Adir could go on to the second roll, Oakley slams her paws against the table, telling the team she is done. "Wow. Did not expect you to eat so fast. You could've gotten yourself sick. I wouldn't wolf down like a maniac if I were you.."
"Well, sucks to be you, rookie. Already finished the entire tray in less than a minute!" Penny laughed before she went on with the Miso soup, drinking the entire bowl in under a minute. "SEE!? I CAN EAT FASTER THAN YOU!"
"Look, just don't act so..excited. Alright?" Adir said much to his concern. "We're going to get kicked out.."
Vivian surprisingly finished her food, not under a minute, but thankfully not as fast as Oakley. "No wonder why Oakley's an electric type.."
Just as the shiny Tyrogue finished his food, a check can be seen onto the table. "The food isn't free, so ya'll gotta pay up.." Adir started as he grabbed the check, darting his eyes at the price that didn't surprise him as much. "Only 10 gold. Thankfully I saved up.."
The shiny fighter slammed his gold coins against the table before the Floragato could snatch it away from him. "Thanks for coming! Have a nice day!"
"Nice day to you too!" Penny shouted as the team finally left the restaurant. "See? Eating something ain't so bad after all!"
Before Adir could open his mouth and reply back, he quickly covered his mouth, and delivered himself a muffled burp. He shook and quickly turned around, his face completely red. "OH- ARCEUS.. I'M SO SORRY.."
"Whatever they say, it's a good one.." Oakley let out a hearty chuckle before she was slammed in the back by the fighter's hand.
"I'M SERIOUS, OAKLEY! IT WASN'T SUPPOSED TO COME OUT LIKE THAT!" Adir yelled back. "I GET SO EMBARRASSED WHEN I DO THAT!"
Penny then eyed on what appears to be an Onsen; a rather large Onsen. However it wasn't only an Onsen, but an Onsen-Hotel as well! "Say, with all that walking through the deep snow, how about we warm ourselves up at the bath-house?"
To get her point across, Oakley took a moment to think about it. Was she really going to stay at an Onsen for the night?
"They have a hot springs there, so it's best to warm ourselves up after a long day."
"You know, Penny? Adir's got a point." Oakley responded. "It might soothe our muscles after a long day.."
"See? That's what I'm talking about!" Adir laughed warmly, pointing a finger over to the Onsen. "It's what I've mentioned before, isn't it?
"Yep. That's what Adir's talking about." Penny spoke before walking over to the entrance of the bathhouse. "After a long day of trudging through the snow and almost getting frostbite, it's best to warm ourselves up in a sauna."
Without hesitation, Penny enters the sauna to find an Arcanine, standing by the counter, waiting for its local customer. As it opens its mouth to talk, it then eyes the other three team members; including Oakley entering by the doorway. "Make it four, please."
-End of Chapter 3-
