One more chapter, and with that, let's go to the answers to the questions '-'

UltimateCCC: Maybe yes, maybe not, it will take a while to confirm this, as it would only be after a few chapters, when the story progresses considerably.

Guest 1: Yes, it's the same Hilda from BW. The first part of your question begins to be answered in this chapter, and about Ash's friends being 'hated', as I said earlier, hate is not necessarily the correct word to define Ash's motivations, and this also begins to be explained.

Guest 2: I believe your question has been answered before, but I repeat: defining this as 'hate' is too hasty.

Guest 3: '-'

T.V. 2000: Definitely an interesting point of view. It's definitely something that can happen.

What about romantic couples? Well, I'm still focused on character development, but I decided to focus on this type of plot, because it's easy to identify in this chapter. The only thing I want to avoid is this story becoming a cliché.

I answered all the questions, now enjoy the third chapter of: 'A reason to Fight'.

The image in your eyes, reflecting the pain that consumed you. I hear it in your voice, so full of shame, what you really want.

When they finally arrived at the mansion, Ash got off the bike, bewildered and with Pikachu with circles in his eyes, all thanks to Hilda who made the life of the man and his Pokémon pass before his eyes with the way she piloted the bike.

"Hilda...I'll never...again...let you give me... a ride." Ash struggled not to throw up, and the woman beside him ignored him, staring at where he was going to live with stars in her eyes.

"Damn Ash! We're going to live in a goddamn mansion! Why weren't you even a little excited?" Ash huffed and ignored her, stepping through the gates and letting Pikachu run through the mansion.

The poor yellow mouse wanted to stay as far away from Pikapi's weird friend as possible.

In the main hall, Hilda began to admire everything like a child in the park, which was a relief for Ash, who had to deal with people he wanted to avoid for most of the day.

Confronting his old friends was difficult, mainly because they became the thing he disliked the most, even if they didn't realize it. He knows that most, if not all, of them don't have malicious intent, but none of that matters in the grand scheme of things.

It didn't stop those bastards from trying to kill him along with his mother.

Showing Gary that memory was extremely reckless, but Ash couldn't bring himself to treat him the same. He was his oldest friend, and the only one he could risk showing a small part of his past. Gary is smart, he will draw his own conclusions, and Ash will let the wheel of fate turn, and accept any consequences of his actions.

"Ash, are you okay? You've gone quiet and you're giving me that dead fish look I hate. Come on, smile more, you're handsome, but that attitude scares all the girls! Imagine, Ash Ketchum surrounded by several girls in his infamous harem to perform nefarious acts, all thanks to the amazing Hilda, who will bring him to the dark side of the force! Hilda started making weird hand gestures and laughing like a stereotypical anime villain.

He raised his hand, and with a light blow it landed on her friend's head. "There! Evil Ashy, abusing your authority, you will lay waste to me in a dark room, where no one can find me, Arceus help me." Ash couldn't help it and started laughing, it's impossible to be mad at this girl.

"By Arceus Hilda, me having a harem? That will never happen, besides the idea being bizarre, who would be stupid enough to try a relationship with me? But the idea was funny, I must admit." Hilda stopped rambling and looked at her friend with narrowed eyes.

"It's a challenge?" For some reason, Ash felt like he'd just made a mistake that would stick with him for the rest of his life.

"Challenge? What the hell do you mean?" Hilda's smile widened, and with a wink she started to walk away.

"Hoho...don't worry Ashy-Boyo, leave everything to me hehehe..." She went upstairs, leaving Ash confused, but having the feeling that his life would get even more troubled. Hilda is his best friend and while she's adorable, it's also kind of hard to predict his actions.

After all, she is completely insane.

Shrugging his shoulders, he headed towards the small training gym set up in the mansion, a little training would take all the stress off his mind.

Meanwhile, Hilda reached her room, and when she entered, her smile faded, replaced by a melancholy look.

She took a small white handkerchief stained with blood from her pocket, and the memories of her past brought tears to her beautiful face. Memories of a past where her dreams were shattered, where her view of the world was violently altered.

But the sadness gave way to an intense sense of gratitude, for it was at her darkest moment, when she finally gave up, when she embraced her dark destiny, it was the moment when it dawned.

The moment a hero saved her.

Nuvema Town – 2 years ago

The city is in chaos, more than two weeks ago Team Plasma completely occupied the place, isolating the residents and preventing any means of transport from entering Nuvema Town.

Hilda has lost track of how much time has passed since her hometown became a war zone. When the invasion started, she did her best to resist, but in the end she was the only trainer strong enough to stand up to Team Plasma's soldiers, but that was until the moment when they started to get really aggressive.

She will never forget the moment when a man was killed in cold blood by one of those bastards, without a shred of remorse, just because he refused to give up his Pokémon. Since then, what was initially an attack by a criminal organization has become an act of war...

That would be it, if not for one small detail: The Unova government ignored what was happening.

It didn't take more than three days for Hilda to be forced to hide away from the city, trying her best to get any kind of help, but without success. She was tired, with small cuts on her arms and legs, her clothes worn and dirty and finally, her Pokémon incapacitated.

When she heard the sound of footsteps, she knew it was over.

With tears in her eyes, she leaned against a tree, hoping her death would be quick. Since the fall of resistance to invaders, all trainers have been forced to flee. Some succeeded, but the vast majority were killed.

The sounds grew louder, and when the first silhouette was illuminated by the moonlight, Hilda's world froze. Team Plasma's henchmen, with wicked smiles on their faces and having guns drawn, ready to fire.

She was going to die, and the realization of that fact brought despair to her heart.

And so Hilda begged any deity to help her anyway, she doesn't want to die, not when she has so many things to do in her life.

One of the goons squeezed the gun's trigger, and then it happened. As if sent from heaven, a man wearing a blue overcoat stood between her and the attackers, blue energy emanating from his body, and the feeling of security and peace chased away all her fears.

For in that moment, a hero emerged in his hour of greatest distress.

30 minutes before

Two people continued on into the forest that separated them from Nuvema Town, their footsteps making no sound in the darkness that accompanied them.

Master and student, both on the path of the aura in constant search for the balance of their emotions, Ash and Riley are traveling across Unova so that the Aura Guardian in training could gain experience in different situations.

After all, an Aura Guardian must be prepared for anything.

Unfortunately, the duo changed travel plans when rumors that a city would be taken over by a criminal organization. Ash wanted to go immediately to help them, but Riley stopped him, and only after authorization from the government of Rota, they went to the outskirts of Nuvema Town, entering the dense forest that surrounds the city.

"I hate this stupid forest." Ash grunted as a branch slammed into his face.

Riley ignored his student's complaints. "It was your idea to come to Nuvema Town, accept the consequences." Pikachu shook his head in denial, listening to yet another of the arguments between Pikapi and his teacher.

These two humans are eerily similar in that they are both painfully stubborn.

"I'll show you who accepts..." Ash stopped talking when he felt a pulse of unknown aura. One of the first things he learned during Aura Guardian training was how to identify the aura of a human and Pokémon. This ability is extremely useful during conflicts in places with low lighting or difficulty in locating targets, as it allows you to differentiate allies from potential enemies.

But that aura signature emanated a feeling he knew very well.

Something that made him vow never to be weak again.

The feeling of despair.

Ash shot at high speed towards the unknown aura. Riley was startled by the sudden change in her student, but quickly composed herself. "Damn Ash! Don't run through the woods like that!"

Riley followed, and it took considerable effort to catch up with his impulsive disciple. And when he was about to try to talk some sense into the idiot boy's head, he narrowed his eyes as he felt malicious auras, signaling that several people were close to them.

Which meant a fight given the fate of his reckless disciple.

Ash jumped out of the bush that separated him from a small clearing and widened his eyes when he saw several men with weapons drawn, pointing at a girl shaking with fear and with tears in her eyes, dirty and with her clothes full of cuts stained with blood.

Memories of the fateful day when he and his mother almost died flooded his mind, the feeling of impotence, the lack of power to defend himself, everything came back to him as if it were reality.

No one would be forced to suffer the same as he did, Ash swore to himself the night his mother nearly died.

"Stay away from her you bastards!" With a huge pulse of aura, Ash began to engage in melee against 10 men who fired shots to no avail, as Ash moved at speeds far above what a human should be able to achieve, and hit them with blows so powerful that they sent them flying a few meters. , to fall unconscious.

That wasn't combat, no, that was a massacre.

In less than 15 seconds, ten men were knocked out before they could even send their Pokémon, and Ash's attention returned to the girl trembling with fear, who fell sitting on the ground. Slowly he approached her, and instinctively she backed away. Pikachu noticed the discomfort that Pikapi was causing and jumped into the girl's lap, rubbing his nose on her cheek, eliciting a small laugh, his voice still shaky from the huge mix of emotions that the girl obviously suffered.

Kneeling down, Ash gently placed a hand on her shoulder, startling her, and then in a calm voice Ash did his best to calm her down. "Hey, I'm not going to hurt you. My name is Ash Ketchum, I was wandering in the forest when I felt his aura and I immediately ran at full speed to help you. I swear on my name that I won't let anything happen to you."

Ash wasn't sure if it was his words, or the overwhelming emotional stress, but after he spoke to the girl, she started to shake and threw herself into his arms, crying with all the intensity she could muster. Riley appeared and when she saw what her student had done, she shook her head and started tying up the knocked out men's arms and legs.

The teacher's message to his student was silent, but both understood.

"You brought this on yourself, now act on the consequences."

For three minutes the girl cried, and Ash patiently held her in his arms. Finally, when she calmed down, she let go of her rescuer's arms and stared at him with teary eyes. "Thank you, for Arceus, thank you so much! I would have been killed, I am absolutely sure of that." Ash scratched the back of his head in embarrassment, talking to women got tricky as he got older, and it doesn't help that the girl before him is beautiful, even dirty and with puffy eyes from crying.

Damn your hormones!

"I did what anyone would have done, may I know your name? I've said mine before, but I'll say it again. My name is Ash Ketchum." He extended his hand in a friendly gesture, and she shyly shook it.

"Hilda Touko, nice to meet you…huh…Ash Ketchum." She tried to get up, but lost her balance and almost fell, if not for Ash who acted quickly holding her by the shoulders.

""Let me carry you, you can barely stand." Not even giving her a chance to refuse, Ash scooped her up in bridal style and approached his master. Hilda buried her face in Ash's chest, dying of embarrassment for what was happening. How low she'd fallen to become a helpless little girl, but no matter how much the stain on her pride, she couldn't speak as for the first time in a long time she found safety in the arms of this man she's just met.

"Master, what are we going to do now? It's very strange that so many people would attack a girl in the middle of the forest, and I doubt they'll stop the assassination attempts if we leave Hilda to her fate." Riley finished tying up the last man and placed the weapons in a cloth bag he pulled out of his pack. After stowing the weapons safely, he turned and glared at Hilda, making her cringe in fear. Ash didn't like what he was doing.

"Hey! Stop scaring Hilda, she just got attacked!" Riley is a man who can boast that he doesn't fear many things, and his student is mostly annoying, reckless, but has his heart in the right place. But there are rare moments where Ash becomes so scary that Riley doesn't dare do anything to piss him off further.

And this was one of those rare moments, unfortunately for the Aura Guardian.

Raising his hands in surrender, Riley was quick to clear up the misunderstanding. "Okay, I get it, I'm sorry. Her name is Hilda, isn't it? My name is Riley Gen, and I'm Ash's master as an Aura Guardian. I didn't mean to scare you, and I'm sorry for what they tried to do to you, but could you explain to me what's going on?"

Hilda slowly nodded her head and began to explain what was happening in Nuvema Town, Team Plasma's attack, the death of the trainers, and the fact that at this point no help from the Unova government has been made available. When Riley heard all he needed to, he placed a hand on Hilda's head and with a small pulse from Aura knocked her out of consciousness.

"This girl has the ability to utilize Aura, although it probably won't come out of it." Ash narrowed his eyes, getting an idea of what Riley was about to suggest.

"Let's not force her into anything, I had no choice and I don't regret the path I chose, but we both know that being an Aura Guardian is walking with death." Riley sighed wearily, Ash is right, hell he doesn't like what he's trying to do himself, but the ability to wield Aura is dangerously close to disappearing permanently from the world. The number of pure Aura Guardians can be counted on one hand, and Queen Ilene's orders were clear.

"If you find anyone with a natural talent for handling Aura, bring them to our realm, no matter the consequences."

"Ash, you know we don't have a choice. Accept the fact that someone is trying to kill anyone with a talent for handling Aura. First it was you and your mother, and now they're trying to do the same with Hilda. It might be a huge coincidence, but it doesn't change the fact that it's the queen's command." Master and Student stared at each other for a few seconds and then Ash looked away feeling guilty.

He was going to drag this girl down a horrible path.

What makes you different from these bastards?

"I hate being an Aura Guardian" Normally Riley would be furious to hear that from anyone, but Ash is the only one who has the right to say such a thing. He lost a lot of things to walk this path, and unfortunately, his life would likely be marked by more losses in the future.

Riley walked away to set up camp, and out of the corner of her eye she saw Ash cleaning Hilda's wounds with a first aid kit along with a small white cloth, and a small smile graced her face.

"Even in the face of so much adversity, you remain a pillar on which those in need can lean, Ash, you have a right to hate your post as Aura Guardian, which is why no one is better suited than you to shoulder the responsibility of protecting the world.

After all, only those who reject power can use it only to protect the defenseless.

Over the next few days Riley informed Hilda that she was going to Rota's realm to begin her training, and although she was apprehensive about going to live far from her homeland, the fact that Ash would be at her side was more than enough reason to convince her. -there.

And since then she became extremely attached to the Aura Guardian in training, to the point that Riley questioned the girl's sanity, who treated her disciple as the second coming of Arceus.

Well, being crazy is part of the Aura Guardian package, and at least Hilda has an advantage in that, as only crazy and desperate people would accept the burdens that this position places on their shoulders.

In less than a month, Ash and Riley successfully drove Team Plasma out of Nuvema Town, and disappeared with Hilda in tow before the authorities arrived, as no one needed to know that the kingdom of Rota was meddling in international affairs.

Back to current time

Since that night, her life's mission stopped being a successful trainer, none of that really matters. Ash helped her when no one else could, extended a helping hand when all she had left was despair and loneliness, and then, when he had no obligation to really help her, he showed her the most beautiful smile Hilda had ever seen in her life. .

She would live for him, even though Ash always refused that she would 'throw her life away for someone who isn't worth it.'

Ash Ketchum is the reason for her life, and she loves him dearly, having accepted it a long time ago. But his heart is wounded by everything that happened in his past, and the presence of his old friends may be the only chance to permanently heal it.

And if that means having to share her love with other girls, Hilda will do it without a second thought, but not before she's sure they deserve a place in her hero's heart.

No one will ever hurt him again, the world can burn as long as Ash stays happy and safe.

And Hilda will have no regrets if that happens.

Serena threw herself on the bed as she sobbed through her tears. The brutality Ash adopted in battle hurt her, but the indifference followed by disappointment, it destroyed her from within. The Ash she knew was a kind boy who always did his best to put a smile on everyone's face, but now he's just a cold, brutish bastard who walks around with an aura of indifference to anything he doesn't care about. consider worthy.

Sadness gave way to anger, if Ash wants to be an idiotic bastard, she won't be crying over that idiot.

As much as Serena tried to harden her heart, deep down she knows she could never hate Ash, she loves him too much to do something like that.

The sound of the bedroom door opening drew the blonde coordinator's attention, and MIsty walked in with Dawn, but her roommates were arguing, and Serena knows the likely reason for the disagreement.

However, she is very tired, and deciding to ignore her friends, she let sleep embrace her, trying to lessen the pain in her chest a little.

Turning the focus back to Misty and Dawn, the two girls were practically viciously attacking each other.

"Damn it Dawn, how can you defend that bastard?!" Misty was livid with rage, could only she see that Ash had turned into a pompous idiot?

"Don't call him a bastard! He's my friend, there must be a good reason for Ash to treat us like that!" Dawn tried to defend her friend, even though she was saddened by Ash's indifferent tone, he still was and remains the most important person to her after her dear mother.

The redhead couldn't believe the naiveté she was hearing. "Fuck, look what he did to Serena, and out of all of us, she's known him the longest! Don't let your stupid crush cloud your judgement, the Ash we've seen isn't the same Ash we've known in the past!"

These words from Misty really hurt, Dawn never hid that she has enormous affection for Ash, even if Drew tried to make her 'see reason' and forget what she feels. It may have worked with May, but Dawn isn't going to trade Ash for some random idiot. She knows Misty means nothing, but it still hurts to hear those words.

Tears began to flow from the bluenette's eyes. "You think I don't know that? I love that idiot, are you happy now? I'm twice as stupid as he is, because Ash hates me and I still love that asshole." Dawn started to break down and cry even louder, Misty felt horrible about what she did, her friend doesn't deserve to go through this, and as much as her anger with Ash is completely justifiable, it doesn't justify hurting the girl in front of her .

Misty brought her in for a hug, and Dawn laid her head on the chest of the red-haired tomboy who was a few inches taller. "Oh Dawn..." Misty whispered as she stroked her friend's hair, in an attempt to at least calm her down a bit.

The two girls' moment was interrupted when sounds of knocking on the door caught the duo's attention.

"Sit on the couch, I'll answer the door." Dawn nodded and obeyed Misty, who went towards the door and when she opened it, she saw that it was Gary Oak with a deadly serious look.

"Gary, I'm not in the mood for a conversation right now, if it's not important..." She was interrupted by the Pokémon researcher, who stared at her with such intensity that it made her swallow hard.

"It's about Ash. I found out what happened, or rather, I found out at least what caused him to disappear." Misty was in shock, how the hell does Gary find out in less than an hour what they fought for five years without success?

"Come in..." Misty whispered, still bewildered, and slowly walked to the sofa, sitting next to Dawn, who was in shock, as was her friend, after hearing what Gary said.

Gary looked around for someone. "Where is Serena? I think she wants to hear that too."

"She went to sleep, the battle with Ash took a toll on Serena." Dawn said in a low voice.

Gary nodded and took a deep breath before starting to speak. "Look, I have information that cannot leave this room, okay? Don't say anything to anyone, not even Serena or May. I didn't even come close to unraveling all this mystery, but what I discovered is enough to understand a little why Ash treats us like complete strangers. So promise me what you hear doesn't leave this room until Ash reveals everything or I tell the others.

"Gary, don't be ridiculous, I…" Misty started to question, but the steely gaze of young Oak made her swallow her words.

"Promise!" Misty nodded and Dawn followed suit.

"Okay, most of what I'm going to tell you was shown by Ash himself with one of his crazy aura skills. He has no reason to reveal anything to me, but he still showed me what happened on Pallet five years ago, and from my own experiences that night, it all became clear and I'm sure everything I'm going to say is true. Misty, Dawn, I believe Ash acts so distant because he really can't trust any of us. In the vision I had of what happened that night, people tried to kill him, and I don't know if Delia survived, because they shot her."

Dawn clapped a hand over her mouth in horror, she couldn't even imagine what she would do if someone hurt her mother. Misty, who usually portrays an image of a girl who is hard to shake, began to cry, feeling sick with herself. It's all obvious now, Ash hasn't forgotten about them, and he can't trust anyone. But something still doesn't fit.

"Gary…I don't doubt what you said, as you wouldn't be cruel enough to lie about it, but why would Ash be afraid of us? We've never done anything to hurt him... him, don't tell me Ash believes we're involved in the attack, please, anything but that..." Misty practically begged, because if that was the reason, she honestly didn't knows what to do.

Gary hated what he was being forced to do, but now that he's started, he can't give up. "At the end of the vision Ash showed me, inside the hallway of the Ketchum family home, the body of the man who shot him and Delia dropped a communicator, and you have to swear you're not going to do anything rash, why would that happen? it puts everyone at this school at risk."

"You're scaring me, just tell me what you saw..." Dawn whispered, holding her hands tightly.

"The communicator is the same one the G-Man use. If it's not a copy to incriminate them, I'm afraid it was the Kanto government that ordered Ash's death. He's been in danger from the moment he set foot in this school, and because of that, anyone can be an enemy in his eyes... even us.

And with that, horror gripped the girls and Gary struggled to present a strong image as his own beliefs were being shattered.

Because if the Kanto government wants Ash dead, who can they really trust?

On the opposite side of the school, where another set of living quarters had been made available to students, one room in particular was emitting screams so loudly that people started to run out of the hall, fearful of falling victim to that brawl.

"I already told you May, stop being naive! Accept that Ash doesn't care about you anymore and move on, maybe in the future you'll be able to rekindle your friendship with him, but I highly doubt that a person with such high social status as him will accept getting involved with a spoiled brat." Drew's words were harsh, but he's doing his best not to lose his temper. Frankly, their relationship has been deteriorating for nearly a year as May has started to act more and more like the old Ash, i.e. a brat with no sense of common sense.

Drew's words hurt May deeply, but also made her furious because again he continues to support this new Ash, but deep down she knows why.

He approves because he can see himself in this new personality of his friend.

And it made her nauseous.

"Don't you dare say Ash stopped caring about me! I've known him since I started my journey, I owe everything I am today to him, I don't want to be friends with an arrogant man, I want my friend back!" She fought back the tears but refused to show weakness, but Drew's gaze caught her off guard.

He was really sad.

Taking a deep breath, the green haired man looked at her with a solemn face. "May, I don't think I can keep things the way they are anymore."

May didn't understand. "What do you mean Drew?"

With a serious face, he crossed his arms. "I'm breaking up with you."

Silence dominated the room, May was in shock, not believing what she heard.

"Don't play with that Drew…" She whispered, but the man before her remained unfazed.

"I am serious. Damn May, I've done everything for you, even helped you look for Ash when he obviously didn't want to be found, stood by you for nearly three years and still all you have on your mind is Ash." Drew broke the serious facade and showed the pain he was feeling, he obviously didn't want that to happen but he couldn't take it anymore.

May was furious. "Stop being an idiot, that's not fair, not when Ash finally reappeared!"

"DON'T YOU DARE SAY WHAT'S FAIR YOU SELFISH BITCH!" May recoiled in fear, Drew had never yelled at her before, and his words were so hateful that for the first time since meeting him, she believed he could actually hurt her.

"I DID EVERYTHING FOR YOU, AND NOTHING IS ENOUGH, I PUT MY CAREER AT RISK TO BE BY YOUR SIDE, I HELPED YOU BECOME A TOP COORDINATOR, AND WHAT DO I GET OUT OF IT? MY GIRLFRIEND THINKING ABOUT ANOTHER MAN 24 HOURS A DAY! I LOVED YOU MAY DAMN IT I LOVED YOU SO MUCH IT HURTED! BUT I CAN'T TAKE IT NO MORE, NOT WHEN ASH COMES BACK AND YOU'RE BACK THE SAME GIRL YOU WERE THE DAY YOU TRAVELED TO JOHTO WITH ME!" Drew breathed heavily, he finally said everything he kept to himself for so many years, it was never his wish that things would get to this point, but nothing helped, all his attempts to fix his relationship with May were doomed to failure.

"Please Drew, don't say that..." May started to cry, feeling guilty for what she heard, but also sad about the state of her boyfriend, or rather ex-boyfriend.

"Go away…" Drew whispered and May couldn't believe what she heard, did he kick her out of the room they shared as accommodation?

"But where will I stay?" She was really scared that she would have to sleep on the street that night, as she wouldn't be able to get new accommodation in time before night took over the city.

"I TOLD YOU TO GET OUT OF MY ROOM!" Drew screamed and May ran to pack her things, crying profusely. She didn't have many belongings, some clothes and that was it, a small red suitcase was packed in less than 10 minutes, and before going out into the hallway, she looked one last time at the man who stared at her with hatred.

"Drew I…" May didn't get a chance to say a word, as Drew slammed the door in her face and locked it. May froze, staring at the door for a few seconds, before continuing on her way, bewildered and shaken.

After all, their relationship ended in the worst possible way.

Drew sat with his back against the door and began to cry like never before. He's lost the girl he loves, but deep down he's always known that this relationship is doomed to fail.

After all, May loves someone else, even if she's too naive to see it.

A wry smile graced his face. "Who knew Ketchum, you won even though you never tried to conquer her. I just hope you two find happiness, because I'm done fighting a losing battle.

Meanwhile, in the mansion where Ash lives, he just got out of the bathroom after intense training at the gym, and unlike what he usually wears, he only wears sports shorts and a white tank top with sneakers of the same color, not seeing the need to being formally dressed in your own home.

Arriving in the kitchen, he widened his face when he saw that all the cupboards were empty, with nothing to cook dinner. Hilda chose that moment to appear and blinked twice at the sight of Ash banging his head comically on the cupboard.

"Fufufufu my dear Ashy has finally embraced insanity, come on, let's go crazy under a duvet..." Ash hit the girl's head with a light blow without even looking at her.

With fake tears, Hilda held her head with her eyes closed. "Huuuuu Ashy evil, again assaulting his beautiful, helpless, sexy, helpless subordinate." Ash stood up and stared at her with an unreadable expression.

"You said helpless twice." Hilda hugged him and winked several times at her friend.

"Stop being mean to me Ashy-Tan!"

"We have nothing to eat, is there a car in the mansion that I can use to go to the market?" Hilda stopped playing and nodded, taking something out of her pocket and tossing it to him, he produced a key.

"I forgot to give you the keys, this car was bought in your name by the government of Rota, so if it crashes or scratches, the repair payment comes out of your pocket. Now go, buy some food or I'll eat you..." Hilda said singing the last part, and Ash shook his head as he chuckled at his friend's antics.

It didn't take long to reach the garage and when he saw the car, he rubbed his eyes a few times to make sure he wasn't dreaming.

An Aston Martin Vantage, in green color.

Why the hell did they buy him a super sports car?!

Of course, it was definitely Queen Ilene again trying to coddle him, no matter how much he says he doesn't like to waste money, he always ends up with something more expensive than all the money he earned as a coach.

Resigned, he got into the car and after adjusting the seat to his liking and familiarizing himself with the car's controls, he opened the automatic garage door and turned on the GPS for the nearest market. The looks he got when people saw the car made him groan, as much as it was cool to drive that car, it made him look like a playboy, and he hates that.

As fate would have it, Ash stopped at the red light next to the Elite Preparatory School, and tapped his fingers on the steering wheel, bored, but ended up seeing something that left him not knowing what to do.

It was May Maple, her old friend, sitting on the floor with a suitcase beside her and crying.

An internal debate started in his mind, He wants to help her but at the same time he knows it will bite him in the ass in the future.

"Come on Ash, you can ignore it, and avoid trouble, it's simple, the light will turn and you pretend you didn't see anything… ahhhhhhhhhhhh damn! Why can't I stop getting into trouble?!" He yelled to himself as he parked the car in front of the girl.

May looked at the expensive looking car, she never bothered to learn about it, the passion for cars in the Maple family lies only with her father and brother. But still, she recognized a rich person's car when she saw one, and it confused her, even more confused when the window rolled down and she saw that the driver was Ash, who stared at her with an impassive face.

"…Ash?" She said in a weak voice.

"Not that it's any of my business, but what the hell are you doing sitting on the floor? Don't be confident because you're famous, there are always people willing enough to take the opportunity to do something bad to girls who are left alone." May hugged her own torso, feeling like she was starting to cry again.

"I have nowhere to go…" Ash raised an eyebrow.

"Call your boyfriend, he wouldn't be so stupid as to leave you outside his room." May started sobbing and crying even more and people passing by started whispering to each other, making Ash slap his forehead.

His image is being destroyed without him doing anything wrong.

"He broke up with me and...and kicked me out of the room we were sharing, I have nowhere to stay, and I've called all the hotels and none have a room available." As usual, Pikachu chose this moment to stick its head out the window.

"PIKAPI PIKA!" The yellow mouse yelled at its trainer.

"You're not serious..." Pikachu made electrical sparks crackle on his cheek, and Ash slammed his head into the steering wheel, making the horn echo for a few seconds.

Again Pikachu put him in unnecessary trouble.

"Get in the car." May was confused.

"Eh?"

"I said get in the car or I swear on Arceus I'll dump you in the street, fuck Pikachu and his electrical attacks."

"PIKAPI!" The mouse screamed indignantly.

"Say one more word and I won't buy Ketchup at the supermarket." And so Pikachu became the most obedient Pokémon in the world.

It sells very easily.

Ash got out of the car and opened the trunk, and took the bag from May's hand, who still didn't understand, got into the passenger seat and Pikachu jumped on the girl's lap.

After closing the trunk, Ash climbed back into the driver's seat and buckled up.

"You said you have no place to stay, so for one night, stay at my place." May widened her eyes, and threatened to cry again, and when she was going to try to hug her friend, he stopped her with one hand.

"Don't get the wrong idea, I'm helping because Pikachu asked, tomorrow you have to find another place to stay."

"I see..." May said despondently, but she didn't complain, considering the first encounter she had with Ash, the fact that he helped her is surprising. But it also raised even more questions in her mind.

How did Ash get the money to buy this car, it's obviously VERY expensive, and most importantly...

Why did he change so much during those years that he disappeared?

"I'm going to the supermarket to buy some things to cook dinner, if you need anything don't hesitate to speak, the last thing I need is to be known as a bad host." May shyly nodded her head and buckled up to secure herself in the car.

When Ash started the car, he was soon on his way with the unplanned company, but he forgot one small detail: He left the window open and Dawn, who had gone out in sports clothes for a little cardio training, was in shock to see May inside an Aston Martin, and worse, with Ash as the driver.

Now, what the hell does May think she's doing in a car with Ash? She can barely see him and already dumped her boyfriend? That BITCH will stay away from YOUR Ash.

Apparently Dawn is extremely possessive when it comes to Ash Ketchum, hiding it all in her typical laid-back girl persona.

Ash felt a chill down his spine, and believing it was the cold wind, he closed the windows. May looked at his friend curiously, but then looked away, having no idea how to start a conversation.

Surely this would be the beginning of a long night...
