It was dark already before I got to Clark townhall. Mr. Van Helsing, to my surprise entered the building with a briefcase no doubt loaded with weapons. Wonder how he knew where we were. His years of vampire hunting, what little blood of Dracula's he had left? I was about to enter when another taxi pulled up behind me.

Simon got out at blind at me only to turn with rage, "What are you doing here? How could you betray Matthew like that?"

'Simon, I didn't," well not exactly, "Solina helped sneak a bunch of thieves into the abbey and the help me at gun point or with a knife to my throat. From there, I did what was necessary not to die. I am surprised he knew where we are."

"Oeh, I don't know whether or not to trust you. I followed him here. He seemed too distressed and refused to get police involved. Don't know what kind of shady business this it, but...We where on the same damn plane just rows behind each other and he did not notice. I...what is going on Ana?" Simon was concerned. Though the idea of Simon sitting on the plane waiting for Abraham to notice him was funny to me, in was concerning. Van Helsing is surely more cautious than that. Even more concerning now, Abraham had not told Simon the truth. Knowing what he might encounter inside, it was time.

"Simon...I have been helping Abraham with the 'item' that was stolen. Did not get very far but...I was a creature of sorts. A dangerous one. The thieves thought it was gold or jewels he kept down there, but they where wrong and it killed them. The only reason it let me live was because...well I don't know. It likes me I guess," I opened the door and we entered the building walking into the main hall.

Abraham whirled armed with a gun. A gun for hunting vampires. 'Simon I told you to stay..."

"You told me to look the other way. A friend at airport customs still owed me a favor. Christ you look awful..." Simon was interrupted by a noise in the upper part of the hall.

Van Helsing's gun was still on me, "I should explain. Solina helped thieves break in and held me at gun point thinking I knew how to get in the vault and open the coffin. Which you know I do but I made them do it the hard way. They took me with them and opened the coffin mid air. I managed to hid will He killed the others and jumped out the plane. He has killed others by the river but I could not trace him any further. Forgive me!" I lowered my head in sincerity. I hoped to learn more from the man before anything like this could happen. Know he may never trust me enough for that. But I knew who he did trust, "Also, Azrael has been lurking around too."

Still looking sceptical he lowered his weapon, "You...saw him!? You are lucky I trust Azrael more than God himself girl or..." He refrained from continuing looking at Simon. The noises intensified so he whispered to Simon, "Now whatever you see, remember your sanity. What you see is real."

"What the hell does that mean." As the older man opened a body bag, Simon yelled, "What are you doing? That's Solina!"

"What must be done and not anymore.'

I grabbed found a small sword in a hidden compartment in the suitcase and prepared myself. With the open body bags and ones yet to awaken, there are a lot of vampires in here. Neither Van Helsing, Simon, or I could afford that.

Solina came back and stood up, making Simon curse "fuck" repeatedly. "Oh Mr. Van Helsing haven't you been selfish!" Solina jumped to the upper part of the hall and ran off. Just then, vampire Shade jumped out and Abraham shot him before my blade could swipe.

Simon was breathing heavy, "Who the hell was that?"

"His name was Nightshade apparently," I mocked.

"He meant to kill us. They all mean to kill us!" the hunter explained as if it was enough.

"Why? That was Solina!"

Getting slightly annoyed with Simon, Van Helsing hands him the gun and walking off, "I said to you, Simon. I was not. She must not escape so leave it to me. If anything should move, shot it. Do you understand, shot it in the heart and cut off it's head. Do you understand? They are the undead."

If we were not in such a dangerous situation, I would have laughed. The hunter was acting like it was a Monday morning and Simon needed to get with the program. "Vampires Simon. Like the one they stole from Van Helsing. Follow my lead and well be fine. We will explain more later. Try to slow your heart. The adrenaline makes you more noticeable and appetizing to the beasts." I again almost laughed at his disbelieving face. He will believe in monsters real soon.

Shade had gone as Simon went to investigate, beathing heavy and cursing as Shade jumped out pushing me aside. Grabbing Simon, "Sorry man. I just don't know what is wrong with me.' Shoving Simon, it gave the man a good chance to shot. Which he did. Several more times than necessary, pinning Shade to the wall. "I said I was sorry!" then he was truly go.

"Nice shot Simon." I helped him up, "The first on I mean."

Instead of teasing me back, he stared as if I told him his grandmother died and I killed her. Right, not use to vampires yet. "Guess you are a hunter now."

"Do I get a mug? Or pen with my name on it?" he sarcastically jabbed back.

'You get to keep you life. How's that sound?"

He rolled his eyes and heaved a sigh calling for Matthew. As I decapitated Shade. Apologizing for his fate. Moving to the officer behind the stage just incase. New bloods generally can't turn other vampires, but Dracula could and I did not know if he was here or not. I hear a commotion and realized Simon was in trouble.

Battling Marcus, he grabbed a cross from Van Helsing's briefcase. "Sorry sport. I'm an atheist."

Simon pushed a button to reveal a blade in the cross, "God loves you anyway." Then he stabbed Marcus right in the eye. Just as he started to run off, I swung my blade but he was faster than me and got away jumping out the window.

"I don't think this weapon is working for me..."

Simon gestured to a severed ear on the ground, "I think you killed his hearing. Not everyone can have vampire hunters luck.'

"Shut up, at least I have yet to almost be killed by one."

Reasoning Simon had himself under control, I run to find Van Helsing. By the time I got to the upper level, he was safe leaning over the rail of the upper hall, instructing Simon to kill Solina. I knew he could not do it. Knew, as a bride of Dracula, he would simply make a new one. Sirens sounded as we left the hall, Solina still inside.
