Chibiusa felt her body being slightly rocked and noticed she was on a boat! Not a modern-day vessel, but an old-style rowboat operated by a single, odd man in a cloak! His oddity is he did not look or speak to her, and his movements seemed labored. Like he had been doing this job for too long and was exhausted, her friends/teammates lay around her, but they would rouse soon. It did not take too long for Trisha to piece together what was happening.
"This is the Styx...isn't it?" Trisha peered into the murky water, then looked at the boatman.
"Took you long enough to notice. I thought the Moon Princess or Princess of Mercury would have figured it out first." The boatman said in a creaky voice, which sounded as old as the rowboat looked.
"One of my attributes is the Underworld." Trisha snapped at the boatman in defense of Chibiusa and Crystal.
"Your name is Charon too?" Crystal asked as she looked up the Styx on her computer.
Charon nodded slightly, "I should thank you. While the Styx mainly runs between Earth and the Underworld, your existence has allowed my river to flow through the galaxy, picking up dead souls."
"We're not dead." Alexis whimpered.
"I can tell, but King Ragnarok and Queen Lilith requested to see you." Charon gasped, laughing.
"We don't want to see them! We're here to find Emily!" Chibiusa yelled.
"They aren't pleased. If you want to find their granddaughter, you better be ready to fight." Charon warned as Titan Castle came into view!
Despite the skulls, this palace looked as expected. Purple and deadly! A spiked gate opened under the place, and Charon dropped the girls inside as they fumbled to get out their pendants.
"Don't bother! You'll be dead soon anyway." A soft but clear and cold voice snapped. The girls saw a woman with black hair and red eyes wearing a dark purple dress and a hateful glare!
If they did not know better, they might have mistaken this woman for Mistress 9! Immediately the girls split apart to avoid a mighty swipe of magic aimed at them. But Charon was not so fortunate as that magic hit him in the back as he departed! Despite how much of a jerk he had been to them, the girls cringed at his anguished scream!
"What did you do that for?!" Gracie shouted.
"Uh...I was aiming at you, you moved, and he just happened to be behind you." This woman replied irritably.
"That's narcissistic. You must be Queen Lilith." Christen crossed her arms.
"Yes, and I know you're the Neo-Sailor Senshi. My darling granddaughter mentioned you earlier." Queen Lilith hissed.
"Where is Emily?!" Chibiusa demanded.
"Hell, if I know, she fled." Queen Lilith shrugged.
Having enough of Queen Lilith's ignorance, the girls transformed and prepared for a fight they could see coming a mile away! Neo-Sailor Venus battled Queen Lilith's scythe with her Holy Stone Sword: Blade! Unfortunately, Neo-Sailor Venus was not physically stronger than Queen Lilith, so Neo-Sailor Mercury pitched in!
"Mist Spray!" Neo-Sailor Mercury shrouded the area in thick fog!
This served a few purposes: 1.) To blind Queen Lilith temporarily. 2.) To give Neo-Sailor Venus a chance to escape, and 3.) To escape undetected. Of course, when Neo-Sailor Mars is with you, being sneaky is not possible.
"Phoneix Strike!" After hitting Queen Lilith full force, Neo-Sailor Mars booked it up the stairs with the others!
"Do you always have to have the last shot?!" Neo-Sailor Moon scolded.
"I wanted to make sure she would think twice about following us." Neo-Sailor Mars almost whined.
"In that respect, it was a decent idea. I would have used my Electric Dragon, but I felt Mist Spray did well enough." Neo-Sailor Jupiter had to agree.
Suddenly, the ground started to rumble and intensified into an earthquake, causing parts of the palace to fall! "I'm not ready to become smashed sailor soup yet! Blade Blaster Bazooka!" Neo-Sailor Uranus fired at the debris, pushing it off course from burying them!
"Aw, I destroyed part of my home and didn't manage to kill even one of you." The girls saw a man with black hair and red eyes walking down another staircase. He was smiling, mocking the fact he was disappointed he did not kill them.
"Being heroines, we just don't die easily." Neo-Sailor Mars shrugged.
"Who the hell do you think you are?!" Neo-Sailor Uranus screamed in irritation at the man.
"That's my husband, King Ragnarok." Queen Lilith came up from behind the group.
"You two were made for each other," Chibiusa commented scathingly.
"You would think my daughter would be made for us too! Yet she chose to be such a disobedient disappointment!" Queen Lilith mocked contemplation.
"What did you say about Hotaru?!" Chibiusa shouted.
"Hotaru disobeyed our orders to stay away from the Moon Kingdom after Queen Beryl attacked. Then, even when she was too late, she used my power to shame us further. I thought Mistress 9 would fix things, but Hotaru still fought. So now, we're stuck with a Sailor Senshi daughter and cowardly granddaughter." Queen Lilith explained scornfully.
"You don't care about Hotaru or Emily." Neo-Sailor Venus stayed in disbelief.
"I only gave Lilith a daughter because it was expected." King Ragnarok walked over and put his arm around his wife's shoulders.
"I gave Hotaru everything a mother should! I rocked her, sang her to sleep, tended to her when she was sick, clothed her, fed her, and bathed her!" Queen Lilith tried defending herself.
"There's more to being a mother than that!" Neo-Sailor Mercury said lowly.
"Like you would know anything about being a mother." Queen Lilith glared at them coldly.
"We don't have time to waste here. Flaming Triangles!" Neo-Salor Mars shot flames around them. Lilith backed off. King Ragnarok summoned a freak thunderstorm INSIDE the room!
With thunder, stray lighting, and waves of rain, the Neo-Sailor Senshi could not concentrate. They decided to try and find Emily on their own as they would have to anyway. Neo-Sailor Jupiter redirected bolts that were trying to hit them as they ran! It was barely safer outside as it gave King Ragnarok the advantage of using the terrain to attack them! From around the corner, a flash flood crashed through the streets!
"Ice Freeze!" Neo-Sailor Mercury created what looked like a float made of ice!
Thankfully, this was big enough to fit and hold all the girls. The girls were plagued by drought, blizzards, firestorms, landslides/mudslides, and explosions. However, they used their powers to combat each threat. As they took shelter in a house for a minute, they heard what sounded like a train. Then, peeking outside saw a bunch of tornadoes! Thankfully, this house had a storm cellar, and though small, the girls crowded in and took shelter under whatever they could find that was nailed down.
"Crazy weather, huh?" A familiar voice chimed. Everyone screamed when they saw two bright white, glowing eyes! Neo-Sailor Moon uses her Pink Moon Crystal for light, and the figure revealed is...
"EMILY!" Sighs of relief fill the air as the girls hug Neo-Sailor Saturn
"Can we go home now?! Grandma and Grandpa, dearest of Saturn, are in no short supply of attacks to kill us!" Neo-Sailor Mars has a point!
"As much as I'd like to, Ragnarok and Lilith will try to follow anywhere we go." Neo-Sailor Saturn explained, disheartened.
"We witnessed our attacks alone being ineffective." Neo-Sailor Pluto reminded the girls. If that is true, and it is, how were the girls supposed to keep King Ragnarok and Queen Lilith off their trail?
"What if we used Sailor Planet Attack?" Neo-Sailor Neptune suggested.
"While that's a brilliant idea, I'm unsure if we have that power." Neo-Sailor Mercury said sweetly. She did not want to seem like she was discrediting Neo-Sailor Neptune.
The girls were stuck scurrying from one structure to the next for cover, but it seemed like King Ragnarok, and Queen Lilith stopped attacking. Of course, few structures were left to hide in due to the tornadoes, so the girls halted at the edge of the river, Styx. A soft clunk was heard as the girls spotted Charon's boat, seemingly stuck in the mud. Despite how he treated them earlier, the girls walked over to see if they could help. Even Emily had met him previously. Angrily, Charon muttered to himself, and he tried to free his boat.
"Hi, Charon. Do you need any help?" Neo-Sailor Moon asked tentatively.
"No, but I can see you girls do, so I stopped my boat." Charon smiled.
"I've never been happier to see you." Neo-Sailor Mars remarked as the girls clamored into the boat again.
"So, where to now, dear Neo-Sailor Senshi?" Charon questioned.
All the girls looked undecided except Chibiusa! "This boat can go anywhere in the galaxy, right? If so, then to the moon!" Soon, they were silently gliding down the Styx, but that did not matter when King Ragnarok and Queen Lilth appeared again!
"Awww, come on! You have to be freaking kidding me! So they STILL want to fight?!" Neo-Sailor Mars sighed in exhaustion.
"Time to try my idea...NEPTUNE!" Neo-Sailor Neptune knew they might not be as to pull off Sailor Planet Attack, but they had to do something!
Understanding this, the other Neo-Sailor Senshi followed suit and..."SAILOR RAINBOW DOUBLE-EDGE SOLAR SWORD ATTACK!" A multi-colored energy ribbon shoots up, engulfing King Ragnarok and Queen Lilith and forcing them both to claim, "Sensational!" Sadly, the Neo-Sailor Senshi did not want to stick around to see what this incredible new attack did, and the group safely left Saturn!
