Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.
Chapter 40: Groundhog Day.
In the Autobot base, the Autobot army is watching the Punxsutawney, Pennsylvania Groundhog Day festivity.
The man then announces that Phil didn't see his shadow, and that meant an early spring was on the horizon!
The techno-organics and humans cheered.
Ratchet then scoffs, "This is an absurd way to predict an early spring."
Jack points out, "Maybe, but it has indeed worked in the past."
Next, the Autobots watched the time loop movie titled after the holiday that was taking place right now.
At the end of the movie, Ratchet questions, "So, for someone like this Phil Connors, in order to break the time loop, they would have to change themselves into a more or less good person by the standards of the film aside from just doing good deeds and by realizing that the person in question is worthy of the love of their life?"
Rafael answers, "Yes. It's pretty much like that."
Arcee remarks in slight worry, "Let's just hope that neither of us experiences anything like that cursed time loop."
Fortressimus Prime points out, "Um, that kind of thing can only happen in already-existing fanfiction stories based on different works of entertainment in honor of Groundhog Day."
Arcee replies, "Ohhh."
Then, Vector Prime comes in and says, "Autobots, I have observed the time stream. Nothing too drastic or too disastrous is on the horizon of the next few solar cycles or so."
Bumblebee remarks, "Well, that's good news to hear."
Optimus replies, "Indeed, Bumblebee. The fact that there is nothing big happening in a few days to a few months is truly something to be considered good news."
Just then, the computer beeps and Ratchet heads over to check it out.
It turns out to be a message written in Ancient Cybertronian.
Optimus questions, "What is it, Ratchet?"
Ratchet answers, "It's a message, but it's written in Ancient Cybertronian."
Optimus looks shocked and Bulkhead points out, "But a big majority of us doesn't read Ancient Cybertronian."
Fortressimus points out as well, "Well, Optimus and the other 13 Primes are capable of reading ancient Cybertronian texts."
Optimus reads the message, "To any that reads this message, if he or she is what is called these days as an Autobot, Primus has decided to send his Envoy to assist the Autobots in the war with the Decepticons. Rendezvous with the Envoy of Primus at the following coordinates: 56.9304 degrees north, 133.6248 degrees west, the Tongass National Forest in Alaska. Rendezvous with him at the forest within the next 5 to 10 astro-minutes before the Decepticons detect his signal."
Jazz remarks, "Huh. Sounds kinda ominous, don't 'cha think?"
Ironhide replies, "Maybe so, Jazz, but we gotta take action just in case the message is indeed legitimate."
Optimus states, "You are correct, Ironhide."
In the national forest, the Autobots emerge from the Ground Bridge and they find themselves in a section of the forest with a lot of greenery and a bunch of trees amounting to 30 per mile.
The Envoy of Primus turns up in his vehicle mode of a 2006 Boeing 747-400 Large Cargo Freighter cargo airplane and he transforms to robot mode.
Optimus questions, "Are you the Envoy of Primus?"
Said entity replies, "Aye, that I am. As I have no name, it'll be difficult to say my name without it being a mouthful."
Fortressimus suggests, "How about Groundhappy?"
The newly christened Groundhappy replies, "It fits considering the fact that I'm a grandmaster of combat on the ground as much as in the air."
In no time, Groundhappy adjusted well to life in the base.
But then, Groundhappy took Fortressimus to the top of the base to explain to him that, in just a short of 6 days, Ghost Saber's sparkling Datamax will land on Earth.
Fortressimus was shocked before he ordered his finest Aerialbot troops find the escape pod Datamax is in, the one looking like Metro Man's escape pod in the Megamind movie.
Fortressimus then says to Groundhappy, "Let's just hope something can be done for Datamax when she finds out her carrier has been offline for millennia."
Groundhappy nods before the twosome goes back into the base.
The End.
(Author's notes: The next chapter is kinda self-explanatory, so see you all in chapter 41: Recovering Datamax.)
