Transformers Prime: A New Adventure.

Chapter 41: Recovering Datamax.

(Author's notes: In this chapter, the Autobots will recover Datamax, the only sparkling of Ghost Saber, Megatron's former favorite teacher from the Golden Age who took him under her wing in the gladiator arenas of Kaon.

In the Autobot base, Fortressimus Prime is watching the monitors for anything out of the ordinary, aside from Decepticon signals.

Fortressimus then jumps as Ratchet demands, "What are you doing, Fortressimus?"

Fortressimus replies while clutching his chestplate, "I was watching the monitors for anything out of the ordinary. And for Primus' sake, you almost gave me a spark attack!"

Before an argument could break out, the monitors start beeping.

One of Fortressimus' new Aerialbots says, "Fortressimus, sir, we've recovered the escape pod and we haven't opened it yet!"

Fortressimus replies, "Excellent work, Treadlane. Bring it to base immediately."

The Aerialbot identified as Treadlane replies back, "Roger that. Over and out."

Ratchet questions, "An escape pod?! Is it an Autobot or a Decepticon?"

Skullsor answers, "Neither. Rather, it's Datamax, the sparkling of Ghost Saber, Megatron's former combat instructor who was killed in a rigged gladitorial combat match during the Golden Age."

Ratchet and the other Autobots, the Maximals, and the Predacons were shocked when they heard about this in that instant.

Optimus then questions, "Fortressimus, who is Datamax's sire?"

Fortressimus answers, "Unknown. Exact records were deleted after Ghost Saber's murderers went into hiding after they found out Megatron was hunting for them."

Bulkhead asks, "So, what classification of Cybertronian is Datamax?"

Fortressimus answers again, "She's a hybrid between a Six Changer and a techno-organic, having a normal robot mode, a flying vehicle mode of unknown type, a ground vehicle mode of unknown type, a flying animal form of unknown type, a ground animal form of unknown type, and a human form that looks like Sari Sumdac, but with blue hair, a lighter shade of skin, and ocean green eyes."

Everyone looked at each other.

Just then, the elevator beeped and out stepped Treadlane and his deployment of Aerialbots.

In their hands in a semi-circle was the escape pod that Groundhappy and Fortressimus mentioned to the others that would be arriving to Earth in a matter of days.

Optimus then advises, "Maintain caution, for we do not know who will Datamax imprint onto as her new parents."

Fortressimus and Downshell opened the pod, and as expected, Datamax imprinted onto the twosome as her new parents, especially since her birth parents are now one with the Allspark.

Fortressimus then says, "Datamax, it is time for you to scan your new vehicle modes and your new beast modes."

Fortressimus displayed holograms of a bald eagle, an emperor scorpion, a General Mechanics HTF-918 air superiority fighter-bomber jet, and a Category 192 main battle tank.

Datamax scans the holograms and tests out her new vehicle modes and her new beast modes before reverting to her robot mode.

In no time, Datamax got along very well with the Autobots, and requested to be trained just in case she gets forcefully pulled into the war with the Decepticons.

Shockingly, even Optimus conceded.

And so far for the time being, things were looking good for the Autobots.

However, Fortressimus and his army decided to reveal what's going to happen in the next week spanning over 2 to 4 days: the events of the Transformers Prime Nintendo Wii U video game.

When Optimus in particular heard about the arrival of Thunderwing and Megatron's failed attempt to recruit Thunderwing even despite Unicron being in stasis lock at the present time, the leader of the Autobots wasn't happy at all.

So, preparations were underway for the Autobot army to destroy Thunderwing and lessen the Decepticon army's roster even more.

The End.
