"Ori? Can you explain this?"

Ori froze. He was caught. He couldn't just lie now. Ori looked at the floor.

"I..."

Peter turned it around in his hands. "It looks like..." He moved his hand over it and a green outline flashed onto the symbol. "Ah. You visited the Mistress of the Forest, I see."

"That's not what it is! It's not what it looks like!" Ori waved his hands.

"That's not what the magic emanating off of this stamp says."

"Father, please! She's a nice person-"

"Why are you resonating with that Witch? She's dangerous, Ori-kun!"

"No she's not! She's nice!"

"Did you do it because you have yet to unlock your powers?!"

"I'm never going to get them, Father! I already know that!"

Peter stopped. "You're...not?"

"No...I'll never. I knew that for a while because Oribia unlocked hers at ten. I'm already twelve and I'm still coming up with nothing. I'm weak...just like Mother."

"Do NOT talk about your Mother that way."

"But it's true!"

"Ori Shokunin! You will not disrespect your Mother like this!" Peter exclaimed. "You are to stay down here and not come up until your coronation! You should be calmed down by then." Peter walked upstairs angrily. "I should have killed that Witch when I had the chance." Peter mumbled under his breath.

Ori heard it.

Ori knew.

She wasn't safe anymore.
