Dark Truth
At night, Vincent and the others were inside of the second year dorms. Apparently, they want some answers from the assassin since he knows Satellizer L. Bridget which to them, it's unheard of and it got them wondering what's the relationship between the two. Though, it also got the girls jealous of Satellizer when she interacts with the assassin. Chiffon was the first to speak while turning to Vincent, who's leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.
"Since we're all here, mind telling us what's your relationship with Satellizer L. Bridget?" Chiffon suggested seriously. "Vincent, what does she mean by 7 years ago?"
"I'd like to know that as well." Lucy adds. "Was she your girlfriend?"
Vincent then turns to the Pandoras, Kazuya, Arcadia, and the Legendary Pandoras with his usual stoic look on his face.
"No...nothing like that." Vincent answered bluntly. "7 years ago, I was in England during my travels. Her father found me taking down some thugs in the alley, more like killing them since one of my clients hired me to kill those scumbags."
"Wait, you're telling us that you knew Howard L. Bridget, the patriarch of the L. Bridget family!?" Kazuha exclaims in shock. "I've heard that the L. Bridget family is funding the Chevalier for the future against the Novas."
"You've heard right, but there are some people like Marks Spencer and Jacob Spencer are keeping the dark secrets from everyone." Vincent points out. "Some of you are aware that Jacob created me 18 years ago as a Paragon and the only one who succeed."
It's no surprise that the Aoi family was aware of him being created, but Ticy, Ingrid, and Marin were shocked that Vincent was obviously an experimented Paragon.
"Wait...are saying that Jacob experimented you?" Marin asks in dread.
"Yes, Jacob was trying to create a Paragon by using test tube babies, which most of the results are failure, all except one." Vincent informed them. "I was the only one who's a success."
Marin, Ingrid, and Ticy are beginning to understand that, but they couldn't help but feeling disgusted of Jacob using test tube babies for the experiments.
"But that's a story for another time." Vincent told them as they replied with a nod. "Anyway, Howard found me in the alley, killing those thugs. He wanted to know why when I told him I'm an assassin. It got him realizing of my reputation and my capabilities."
"It almost sounded like you've been a bad guy all this time when the Government are looking for you. Then again, you were created as an assassin known as 'Hellhound'." Chiffon states with a ponder. "But what did he do after what you've told him?"
Vincent then thought about it for a few seconds, then give them the answer.
"After I give Howard an explanation, he thought I was just a child, but after seeing what I did, he hired me as his bodyguard." Vincent said, leaving them shocked. "He even took me into his manor to meet his family, his wife named Olivia L. Bridget, his son Louis L. Bridget, and his two daughters Violet and Satellizer L. Bridget."
Kazuya, except the Pandoras and the Legendary Pandoras, was shocked that Satellizer L. Bridget is related to the L. Bridget family.
"But apparently, Olivia has been on bad terms with her stepdaughter because of Howard having affairs with another woman named Noelle Alongrutch which Satellizer's original last name is Alongrutch." Vincent continues. "Violet gets along well with her, but Louis doesn't."
They're starting to understand what he's telling them about Satellizer's life which they didn't know. However, it got them wondering that if Vincent ever gets along with them.
"But it got me curious, were you able to get to know them?" Ingrid questions.
"Not at first." Vincent shook his head. "I was never on good terms with Olivia because she didn't take me seriously as the bodyguard or the assassin, she only thinks that I'm a child that needs to be away from the family. Though, I don't take kindly to her words since I only kept quiet and only gave her that look."
"And...what about the others?" Kazuya inquires.
"Violet is trying to break the ice by talking to me, which I can only respond a few words." Vincent answered. "Louis on the other hand, he's just a spoiled brat who doesn't treat me or Satellizer nicely. While Satellizer, she didn't start out as cold or ruthless, she was shy to the new family and being mistreated by Louis."
"What?! You mean...she's been mistreated?!" Kazuha exclaims, earned a nod from him.
"And it gets worse, Louis' mistreatment turned into sexual harassment." Vincent answered. "I was there and able to prevent that from happening since I was checking things out at night. Here he is, tried to harass her. I was able to stop him and told him to leave. Louis didn't take that answer and try to lunge at me, but I was able to act in self defense and throw him out of the room."
They're now starting to realize why Satellizer is like that now, which it got them disgusted of Louis' actions.
"I was about to leave the room, but Satellizer...she told me to stay." Vincent adds.
"WHAT?!" The Pandoras, Kazuya, and the Legendary Pandoras shouts in shock.
"Calm down, it's not what it looks like. Satellizer wants to get something out of her chest while I listen, even though I'm a good listener." Vincent assures them.
It got them sighed with relief, but the girls are jealous of Satellizer.
"Anyway, I was only staying silent for a couple of minutes and...she doesn't want to leave her side." Vincent continues. "Satellizer is the first who break the ice, and I've given her an explanation. I thought she would react by forcing me to leave, but she didn't, she only said that I was her friend."
'I bet it's more than that.' The Pandoras and the Legendary Pandoras mentally thought with a glare, grew even more jealous.
"I was with her for a long while, which she ask of me to stay by her side because of Louis trying to mistreat her. It didn't take long for Violet to figure out why I was with her." Vincent continues. "She was thinking that Satellizer has a crush on me, but it wasn't the case, she's trying to get me to break the ice because I was nothing but a stone on water."
The girls are thinking otherwise, thinking that Satellizer has a crush on Vincent.
"But I didn't stay for long because Olivia, she ask of me to leave which it's mostly Louis' idea to get rid of me. I decided to play along and leave, that is until he revealed himself while try to provoke me. All I did is walk away without saying a word, but Louis didn't take it well. So, he was about to tackle me, but I only delivered a punch square mark on the nose." Vincent finished his explanation, causing the girls and Kazuya to wince. "Though, I didn't go empty handed when Howard gave me a payment before I left."
"And what happened after you left?" Kazuya asks.
"I go up to Turkey, after hearing about the Nova coming to the city." Vincent answered simply. "But it's not your typical Nova, it's an SS-Class Nova, a strong one at that. The SS-Class Nova was about to annihilate every civilians and the structures, I was lucky that I prevented that from happening and I go all out by killing it."
The girls and Kazuya were shocked of Vincent destroyed something that strong back in Turkey years ago, which they've heard about it from the news and the articles.
"After that, Violet has kept me updated of Satellizer's well-being. Apparently after I was gone, Louis' got what he wanted and continuing to sexually harass her, to the point that Violent stopped it and having Satellizer and Noelle away from the mansion." Vincent continued. "But, when I heard of the codename 'Untouchable Queen', I thought about it and putting two and two together. It had to do with her developing of 'haphephobia'."
"Haphephobia!?" Chiffon, Ticy, and Kazuha exclaims shockingly which the girls and Kazuya were also shocked.
"It means fear of being touched." Vincent told them. "You see, when that happens, she'll lash out to anyone who touches her without her consent. I'm not telling you this as an excuse of her actions, I'm telling you this to understand why she's like that. Satellizer has been through a lot of hardships, even if it means being molested and sexually harassed by her stepbrother."
"That does make sense if you think about it." Ingrid states with a ponder.
"Hmm, now he mentions it, I remember about her got kicked out back at East Genetics two years ago." Kazuha states.
"East Genetics? What do you mean?" Vincent inquires curiously.
"You didn't know? She got to East Genetics before transferring here because she causes too much trouble." Chiffon explains. "It happened two years ago, so she has a bad reputation a long time. Which it why people are avoiding her."
"What did she do?" Vincent asks.
"Before Satellizer transferred here, there's a Limiter at East Genetics named Brooks Levon." Marin answered. "He's one of the best in his class at East Genetics and a good-looking one too."
"Marin!?" Ingrid groans in annoyance.
"What? He asked." Marin said innocently. "You've got a fair share with your Limiter."
Ingrid tried to come up with an argument, but she got nothing as she sighed in defeat.
"Anyway, he's popular with the Pandoras and he had plenty of options to pick a partner, but he chooses to team up with Satellizer." Chiffon said. "And that got him making a big mistake by touching, and ended his time as a Limiter. Because of that, Brooks wasn't able to recover after the beating and after that, he dropped out due to his injuries. After that, she got suspended for a whole year. She transferred here to get a new start."
"She got held back her second year because of the suspension." Ingrid adds. "Though, after learning about her because of you passing information, now we know why she's like that."
Vincent gives them a nod, finally understands why Satellizer got herself into trouble and transferred here at West Genetics.
"Well, I think we should rest up tonight because we've got a lot to think about since it's gonna take a while to take it in." Chiffon suggests.
The girls and Kazuya agreed as they started leaving the dorm, leaving Vincent alone as he decided to turn in for the night.
While at the girls dorm, Satellizer was about to get some sleep when she turns to the window, looking at the starry night sky.
'Vincent...someone gave you that name after all these years? I wonder how he's been after leaving the manor?' Satellizer mentally questions, but decided to ask later as she drifts to sleep.
The next day, both Vincent and Kazuya are heading to their classes since the two are in different year. However, the students have heard that a male Pandora had easily defeated Ganessa which to the assassin, he doesn't care about it.
Kazuya is in a first year class along with Arcadia as he spoke.
"Hello, I'm Kazuya Aoi. It's a pleasure to meet you all." Kazuya introduces himself, bowing to the students.
"Whoa!" A Pandora named Kaho Hiiragi said in shock.
Kaho has reddish brown hair that runs down just past her cheeks with a green hairclip on the left side, light brown eyes, and a slender physique. She wore a Genetics attire.
"What is it, Ms. Hiiragi? Something caught your eye?" Yu-Mi questions with a smirk.
"No! It's nothing like that, ma'am!" Kaho answered quickly which it got Yu-Mi chuckled with amusement.
"Well, you can take a seat at any desk that's available." Yu-Mi suggests, turns to him.
"Ma'am." Kazuya replied with a nod as he approaches to an empty desk which it got the Pandoras attention.
"Wow, he's really cute."
"Yeah, just my type."
"He certainly got your interest up."
"Oh stop it. That's how rumors get started." Kaho scoffs in annoyance as Kazuya sat on an empty desk.
'I wonder how Vincent is taking it?' Kazuya mentally questions which of course, Arcadia is thinking the same thing.
At the second year class, Vincent spoke.
"I'm Vincent Valentine." Vincent introduces himself in monotone. "As all of you aren't aware, I worked with the US military and traveled to fight against the Novas years ago."
It got the Pandoras and Limiters, including Satellizer, shocked of his military background and his fight against the Novas, but he omits that he's also an assassin and being created by Jacob Spencer 18 years ago. It also got them realizing that it was him who destroyed the S-Class Nova 4 years ago, saving the Pandoras and Limiters at Tokyo Bay.
"Vincent is a year older most of you, but transferred here as a second-year so he learn the abilities of a Pandora and a Limiter. I like you all to treat him kindly and teach him what you can." The teacher suggested to the students.
"Yes ma'am!" The students replied.
Vincent noticed an empty desk as he approaches it, but it got their attention when they looked at him.
"So, that's the guy who took down a Nova?"
"Yeah, I've heard that he's the first Paragon."
"A mix with a Pandora and a Limiter? That's the first time I heard!"
Vincent can hear them muttered to each other, but he didn't seem to care as he sat on the empty desk with a brooding look on his face. Satellizer turns her head to Vincent with a narrowed eyes.
'He sure hasn't changed years ago after he left, but I didn't know that he has the ability of a Pandora and Limiter. I wonder how he got those abilities, and why he didn't tell me?' Satellizer mentally thought, wondering.
Soon as the class was over, Vincent was about to leave when Kazuha approaches him.
"Cassandra told me of your fight with Ganessa the other day." Kazuha said with a smile. "You're doing pretty good for not killing her, but threatening her is a little extreme."
"Sorry..." Vincent said in a monotone.
"No, it's fine, at least she gets the message. And Vincent, don't ever change." Kazuha told him. "But Vincent, don't push yourself too much. You'll never know what other Pandoras that might prove to be an even match with you in terms of strength and potential."
Vincent replied with a nod, but there's something that got his attention. Kazuha knew what he's thinking.
"It's about that form Ganessa has: Pandora Mode, right?" Kazuha inquires, earned a nod from him. "Vincent, I don't think you'll be needing to learn Pandora Mode."
"Why is that?" Vincent questions.
"Because there are some pros and cons to that form." Kazuha explains. "True, it can give you a boost of power; even to move freely in a Freezing Area, but there are some flaws of using that power. The flaw is that the Pandora can be used within three minutes and after that, it'll left you completely weaken and opens to attacks...or it there's a Freezing Area capable on disabling it."
"I see." Vincent said.
"You're strong without it, Vincent." Kazuha states. "You'll encounter new things with your Stigmata that'll make a Pandora Moda a thing in the past. I guarantee it."
Vincent nods with an understanding.
"If you're not too busy tomorrow, I was wondering if we're going to the training room." Kazuha offered, but started to blush. "It's not like I'm asking you to go on a date...I just wanted to help you hone your skills and abilities...So, I'm..."
"It's fine." Vincent interrupted. "I'll be there, tomorrow morning?"
"Uh, yeah, I'll see you then." Kazuha quickly answered as Vincent walked away, leaving her alone with a few shades of red on his face and steam comes out of her ears. 'I...I get to have Vincent...all to myself in the morning...'
And with that, Kazuha starts to faint, leaving the students turned to her with wonder. Kazuya however has a few ideas why Kazuha asked him for tomorrow morning which it got him smirked.
'I need to master my abilities of a Pandora and Limiter. I only mastered some, but I need to learn a few things.' Vincent mentally thought.
"Hey, Vincent..." A voice of Chiffon greets which it got his attention.
Vincent turned to his right side and saw Chiffon leaning down with a smile.
"Hey Chiffon." Vincent greets back. "Something wrong?"
"No, I came to tell you something when you're enrolled here." Chiffon answered. "The third-years wanted to meet you at the School Pools this evening. You've already met Ingrid and Marin, but the other third-years are curious about you."
"I see." Vincent said.
"So, you want to go there with me tonight?" Chiffon asked him.
"Wasn't the School Pools for third-year students?" Vincent questions.
"Yes, but this is special occasion." Chiffon answered simply.
Vincent can tell that Chiffon is determined to have him to meet with the third-years, but noticed that there's more about it. Unknown to them, the Legendary Pandoras are watching them from the distance with jealous looks in their eyes.
'Damn that Chiffon...making her move on him again?!' The Legendary Pandoras mentally growled as the dark auras surrounded them.
"I guess I can come." Vincent said, but was caught off-guard when Chiffon hugged him.
"That's great! Meet me near the water fountain outside. I can't wait for our date!" Chiffon said happily as she ran off, but turns to her sisters. 'Hehehe...take that, he's going on a date with me~!'
Vincent figured that the Legendary Pandora were watching from the far-off distance, and it got him realizing that the girls are wanting his attention which it got him shook his head in annoyance.
Later that evening, Vincent meet up with Chiffon at the water fountain.
"You're right on time, Vincent." Chiffon said as she arrived as well. "Are you still wearing that cape?"
"This is the only attire I can wear for the West Genetics." Vincent points out. "And...I still have the other attire for missions."
"Hmm...I think we're gonna have to do some shopping for some new clothes after school tomorrow." Chiffon suggested. "But right now, we should get going. We got time now that we're here."
And with that, they're heading towards the School Pool to meet up with the third-year students.
As they got there, he noticed six other girls, though he kept his calm demeanor and noticed that one of five girls naked while sitting on a desk chair.
"Hello, Chiffon, fancy meeting you here." A girl named Elizabeth Mably said with a calm smile.
Elizabeth is a beautiful young woman with somewhat pale skin, large breasts, back-length curly blonde hair that has chest-length strands hanging on either side, dark blue eyes and an hourglass figure. However, she's the only one naked.
"I see you have a guest. Who might he be?" Elizabeth asks.
"Elizabeth, this the young man who I told you about." Chiffon replied with a chuckle as she turned to Vincent, who kept his brooding look on his face.
"He's the guy who took down Ganessa yesterday, Elizabeth." Marin told her. "He may be intimidating, but he's not easy to talk to."
"And he saved Marin from the S-Class Nova a year ago." Ingrid adds.
The third-year students were shocked that Vincent fought and saved Marin from the S-Class Nova a year ago in Japan. Vincent didn't like to talk about it because of his time as an assassin, and his previous actions made him the most wanted while earned a nickname of 'Hellhound', 'Silent Assassin', and 'Cold-Blooded Killer' which they didn't know about it.
"He doesn't like to brag about it, he usually kept it to himself." Chiffon said as she turns to him. "You can relax now, everyone's all dressed now."
"All except one." Vincent states.
"Did your mom ever tell you about the way you're wearing?" A girl named Attia Simmons asked, crossed her arms.
Attia is a small, petite girl with short, silvery-white hair and light brown eyes. Her hair is twisted into two curls-tails at both sides of her head, giving somewhat of a typhoon shape. She wore a one-piece magneta swimsuit that showed a little of her cleavage.
"Didn't your mother ever tell you to keep your nose clean and learn how to mind your own business, kid?" Vincent remarked, making Attias growled in anger. "Or shouldn't you be in Elementary School like a good little girl?"
It got Chiffon and Marin snickered a bit.
"Why you!" Attia growled, raising her fist up. "I'm gonna make you regret saying that!"
"Attia, stand down...Vincent is our guest." Elizabeth called her, turns to Vincent. "Please, Vincent, come sit with us and tell us about you."
Vincent however, leaned against the wall with his arms crossed.
"Before we do that, shouldn't you introduce yourselves." Vincent suggested.
"Of course, let me start things off." Chiffon replied, changed her attire into a blue two-piece bikini to show off her curvy figure. "You've already know me, Vincent. I'm Chiffon Fairchild."
"I'm Attia Simmons." Attia introduced herself. "I'm still gonna get you back for that remark."
Vincent can only rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"I'm Arnett McMillan. Nice to meet you, Vincent." A girl named Arnett McMillan greeted with a grin.
Arnett has long red hair with the inner side of her temporal locks curling inward over her cheekbones and amber eyes. She wore two-piece swimsuit that matches her hair.
"Creo Brand, welcome." A brown-skinned girl named Creo Brand adds.
Creo has dark skin, white hair, grey eyes, and large bust. She's taller than most of the Pandoras. She wore a white bikini while she sat by the edge of the pool.
"I'm Elizabeth Mably. Please to make your acquaintance." Elizabeth introduced, now wearing a dark violet bikini while sat on the desk chair.
"Likewise." Vincent replied. "My name is Vincent Valentine."
The third-years replied with a nod.
"So, Vincent..." Elizabeth called him, earned his attention. "Since you're a Limiter, I figure you might be looking for a partner."
"That's where wrong, Elizabeth." Vincent told her calmly. "I'm a special case."
"What do you mean?" Arnett asks curiously.
"He means he can use an abilities between a Pandora and a Limiter." Chiffon explains. "Basically, he's a Paragon."
"Wait a minute! He's a Paragon?! How?!" Attia exclaims in disbelief.
Vincent took off his red cape and used his Stigmata to unequip his attire, showing the girls his lean muscular body which it causes them to blush. He then turned to show the girls the 26 Stigmata on between his back, his upper thighs, and his shoulder blades.
"Whoa!" Elizabeth and Arnett gasped.
Creo, Ingrid, Marin, Attia, and Chiffon were speechless.
"Before I got here, I was created by Jacob Spencer. His lab was used to create super soldiers, his goal was to physically and genetically engineering the ultimate Paragon." Vincent explains. "Of course, it all ended in failure...but I'm the only one who became a success."
Attia, Creo, Arnett, Chiffon, Ingrid, Marin, and Elizabeth were deeply shocked of his explanation of the project.
"At the time, they trained me in combat, military, weaponry, and espionage to become as assassin. They've also taught me the abilities of a Pandora and Limiter." Vincent continued while re-quipping his attire along with his red cape. "It's only years ago that I discovered that my genes were used for his experiments. So, I free myself by killing everyone on site, including Jacob Spencer. I didn't leave everything behind when I erase the information and destroy the building. But there are some people who'll follow up his ideals to create a Paragon."
"And if I have to guess, he's using some test tube babies to make a Paragon?" Ingrid inquires, earned a nod from him.
"That and the project is illegal." Vincent told her. "I've been hunting those scientists down for only 8 years. Most of them we're killed by my hands, but some are still out there."
"I see, that explains everything." Elizabeth said with a serious look on his face, feeling sickened of the illegal project.
"Vincent is strong on his own right. He even took down the numbers of Nova, Pandoras, Limiters, and Scientists all on his own when he's 10." Chiffon informed them. "But, that was before Commander Reeve and Dr. Aoi gave him the name."
"What?! This brooding emo took on the number of Pandoras, Limiters, Novas, and live?! That's impossible!" Attia cried out.
"Believe it or not, it really happened since he's known as 'Hellhound', 'Silent Assassin', and 'Cold-Blooded Killer'." Chiffon replied. "He doesn't like to talk about it much, but he's the deadly assassin at his own right."
"I see how you became interested in him, Prez." Arnett said as she and Elizabeth walked up to him with a calm grin.
Vincent can only sigh in annoyance and Chiffon smiled, but she felt jealous of those girls. He then decided to take his leave by walking away and leaving the School Pool.
"What's up with that? We were only trying to get to know him." Arnett complains.
"He's a loner and not much into socializing. He likes to keep his distance to someone he barely knows." Chiffon told her. "Trust me, he's like that during his stay at Dr. Aoi's home years ago."
The third-year students can understand what Chiffon is telling them, realizing that he can limit himself in socializing because of his previous time as an assassin and in military.
At the second-year dorms, Vincent was on his way of his room when he noticed Kazuya was next to a first-year student named Arthur Crypton.
Arthur has blond hair and blue eyes. He's wearing a male Genetics attire.
"So, you must be the new second-year, huh?" Arthur inquires.
"And you are?" Vincent questions.
"The names Arthur Crypton. I'm a first-year student." Arthur introduces himself. "Kazuya told me all about you."
"How much did he tell you about me?" Vincent questions seriously.
"Not much, besides you in the military from US and taking down Novas." Arthur told him. "Must be tough, trained in military while try to take down a Nova."
"Hmm...some, but not entirely. I've been in training all of life while traveling around the globe, taking down Novas and people who causes trouble." Vincent states.
"Sounds pretty badass! Kazuya told me you can use a Pandora abilities along with a Limiter, guess that makes you 'big brother'." Arthur states.
"'Big brother'?" Vincent repeats, raised his eyebrow. "What makes you think about that?"
"Well, basically for Pandora, we usually called them 'big sister'." Arthur answered simply. "I made sure to choose carefully, so my big sister who isn't weird or violent, or anything like that. On the contrary, she's pretty and smart and always nice to...huh?"
Though, Vincent isn't interested on listening to Arthur talking about a Pandora when he entered inside of his dorm.
"Dude, what gives?!" Arthur exclaims.
"He's always like that." Kazuya told him sheepishly. "He's not much of a talker."
Arthur then understands why Vincent went inside of dorm, which it's going to be a while for the Hellhound to open up to students, but at his own pace.
