Oribia walked past the dining room, then took a few steps back to take a look inside. Ori was sitting at the table, eating his noodles alone.

"Ori? What are you doing? Why is your Legion not here with you?"

"Scissors was betrayed. Fortunately, he...disposed...of the traitor before any valuable information could be shared."

Oribia sat down across from him. "Do you need to talk? I'll listen." She gave him a gentle smile.

"I hate that everybody assumes things about me."

She wished she could say she understood, but everybody seemed to love her. They always gave her praise and treated her like royalty. Ori, however, was always treated with less respect and given less nice things and praise. Even their father liked Oribia more than her brother. Was it because she unlocked her magic first?

She always cared for her brother and gave him the love he was missing. She shared her things, and always made sure her brother was happy. She felt perfect because of the way she was treated...if the adults found out that her and Ori visited the Mistress of the Forest, they'd automatically assume it was Ori's idea. If she would try to say it was her fault, they'd just treat her like a perfect little princess and punish Ori anyways.

That's what they always did.

"Is it alright if I eat with you?"

He said nothing, but looked at her.

She gave him a smile and left the table. After preparing her food, she re-joined her brother. He was not there, however, and only a little note sat by his seat. She picked it up and examined it.

"Something important came up, and I needed to leave. I'll see you tomorrow morning. The throne is almost finished, and I'll make a matching one for you!^^

"Your beloved brother,

"Ori Shokunin."

"Oh, Ori...do you not realize?" She sat down. "He's pushing us all away...I don't want him to be like that."

After finishing her noodles and rinsing out her bowl, she headed for the bathroom to brush her hair. Scissors was in there, still a little shaky from earlier, holding his sword by the end of his ponytail.

"Scissors? What are you doing? Are you going to cut your hair?"

"Y...yes." He brought his hand away from his hair a little. "In memory for my fallen ally."

Oribia flinched when he sliced off his ponytail. He resheathed his sword and finally faced the princess. She noticed he had a patch on his right cheek. She wondered how Scissors could still see straight with his left eye being blocked off with a bandage.

"Are you alright? What happened?"

"I was betrayed by my friend. I killed him, but I didn't mean to. As it turns out, he wasn't a member of our royal guards at all."

"Oh...I'm sorry that happened to you."

"Don't be. I was an idiot for thinking I could trust him." Scissors walked out.

Oribia slid into bed. When getting their seperate rooms ready, Peter had asked which room they wanted. Of course, Ori found the free chance to pounch onto the better, fancier room. Oribia didn't mind, however. She found the periwinkle walls to be comforting. She let Ori pick all the better stuff for his room; including the fancy pillows. Plus, all the blankets and pillows she got were all shades of yellow; her favorite color.

When trying to fall asleep, Oribia noticed a shadow block off the light at the bottom of the door. She sat up and got out of bed. She put her ear against the door.

"Scissors? How is the throne coming along?" It sounded like her brother.

"It is coming along well, my King."

"Good. May I see the design?"

Both Ori and Scissors were quiet for a moment.

"This...I hate it." Oribia saw a paper flutter down. She got a very quick look at it before Scissors picked it up.

"But, my King-"

"Change the design."

"But, my King! If you hate our idea so much, why don't you do it yourself?"

"I have more important business to do." He started walking off before stopping. "And make sure Oribia likes our thrones as well."

"Y-yes, my King."

"Oh, and one last thing."

"Yes?"

"Make sure the entire Kingdom shows up at our little announcement tomorrow. Can you at least get that right?"

"Yes, my King...I could get Jean-Pierre to do the designs, if that's your wish."

"If he makes one I actually like, then yes. Get him to do it."

Ori's shadow walked away, leaving Scissors in the hall by himself. Oribia peeked under the door. Scissors looked at the paper, crumpled it, then dropped it on the ground as he walked off. Oribia waited for a bit, cracked open the door, snatched the paper, and went back into her room while shutting the door. She flattened out the paper and held it closer so she could see.

It looked like the way Oribia draws. It looked very similar to Peter's throne, except said "Origami" next to it with an arrow pointing from the words to the throne. It was also supposed to be purple instead of green. Oribia smiled. She thought the drawing was cute!

She climbed back into bed and put the drawing on her table. If she wanted to find out what Ori's announcement was, she had to go to sleep!
