The Doctor stood with his face pressed against the wall as he tried to will away the sheer pain running through his body. He felt ready to collapse with the pain of losing Rose. His Rose. This wasn't supposed to happen. He had thought that he had fixed this. He had felt the timelines pulse with uncertainty and he had thought he had changed them. Clearly he was wrong. He reached out to what should be Rose's time lines, fully expecting to not see one anymore, only to be proved wrong.

They were still there. They were wrapped almost completely around his. He watched as they danced along his jumping and spinning around him. Doubling back and moving along his. He felt his heart break at that.

He didn't remember meeting her before the Time War. He had never met her... Right? He felt a whisper of a song float through his mind as watched her rose gold timelines float around him. This shouldn't be possible. He had watched her fall. He watched the wall close up trapping her on the other side. She was gone. He heard a wolf howl in the distance. His eyes stung as he clasped to the ground next to the sterile white wall. He glanced around the room and noticed the walls were covered in blue paint, all of it said two words.

Bad Wolf

Her calling card. She was coming back to him. He was going to see her again. He could keep going as long as he knew she was coming back. He straightened back up and walked back to the TARDIS.

~Who~

The TARDIS felt her thief mourning the loss of their wolf. She knew though, she knew that it was only going to be a short time for him. Her wolf was going to be the one that needed to be strong. She was going to be the one with all the near misses and lonely nights. She was going to be the one that had to deal with past hims not knowing her.

Her and her wolf had seen all of time and space. Both her wolf and thief were foolish to not think that she wouldn't save her, save them.
