Chapter 11: Finding the Base
The next afternoon, everyone was gathered at Calumon's station.
They surrounded Janryu and Calumon while they sat in front of a huge monitor showing the docks .
"Warehouse 74. According to the information Indramon told us, this is where the AntiBody Assassins are hiding. They must be underground somewhere beneath it. And as we speak, I am pretty sure they are still experimenting right now." Janryu said.
"Alice, Ai and Mako will join us down there. We would need their help on this. Guilmon X and his allies are up to something. We have to stop them before they can kill any more innocent lives." Calumon said.
"Alright. Those AntiBody freaks are going down for sure!" Impmon said as he punched his fist into his palm.
"They already revived and brainwashed me. I hate to see who else they might try it on." Leomon said.
"Then it's time to gear up and head out!" Guilmon commanded.
Everyone nodded and went to get change into their Knights clothing.
The warehouse looked like any ordinary building but dark clouds formed in the sky around it.
Alice, Ai and Mako peeked out from behind some barrels.
They observed some Gotsumon going in and out of the main entrance.
"Those poor Digimon. I cannot believe they got revived and served those killers of their own free will." Ai said.
"They are not our main concern. We need to worry about their bosses." Alice said.
A series of soft thuds made them turn around. Behind them stood the Digimon Knights.
"Thanks for coming. The assassins are hiding in that warehouse" Alice commented.
"So why are these Digimon supporting them?" Terriermon asked as they all bent down behind the barrels.
"They are followers of our AntiBody selves because of that friggin' Reboot Program." Impmon answered.
"Alright. We need to sneak in. Renamon, think you can phase yourself inside and open the door while we deal with the guards?" Guilmon questioned.
"That's an easy task. I'll do what you can." Renamon smirked before she faded from sight.
"By the way. While we changed back into our Knight clothes, I noticed Renamon has your Digital Hazard mark on her belly. Same with BlackGatomon's right shoulder." Dawnmon grinned. "You guys really went all out last night didn't you, Daddy?"
Guilmon gagged at this.
"Hey, Dawnmon. That's between me, Studmon and Foxy alright?" BlackGatomon spoke on his behalf.
"So you got frisky with Ms Fox and Ms Kitty. Big deal! Me and Impmon got laid last night too!" Terriermon assured his leader as he patted his back.
"Not with each other! I had myself a wet an wild private rodeo with Fillymon!" Impmon snapped.
Everyone turned from the sounds of screaming coming from the warehouse. The Gotsumon guards turned to see what the commotion was. Instead, Guilmon used this moment to step in front of them
The saurian walked towards them, his right arm outstretched.
"Guardian Blade!"
A glow of light appeared before him. It then revealed a large sword with a razor-like blade. A yellow glazing ran along its surface. The guard and hilt were a dark purple.
Guilmon took it by the purple hilt and delivered a fierce swing towards his opponents
He sliced the two Gotusmon into halves making them burst back into data.
"You could have saved some for us too." Cyberdramon grunted.
The door flew open and Renamon emerged. She was now wielding two fans with sharp blades.
"I cleared it out here!" Renamon said.
"That's our Foxy." BlackGatomon grinned.
"Show-offs" Impmon scoffed.
They entered the warehouse. Inside were huge boxes were stacked all over the place. But what drew everyone's attention was these giant generators pumping green liquid inside.
"What that green stuff?" Mako asked.
"Rejuvenation fluids" Leomon answered "One of the items needed for the Reboot Program. However, it can be extremely dangerous."
"That's right. You went through this process before, haven't you, Leomon?" Lopmon commented.
"Exactly. Not the best of times for me." Leomon lammeted.
Guilmon sniffed around the area before he noticed something unusual behind some crates.
When he pushed them aside he shouted "Guys! Over here! A trap door! This must lead to an underground passageway!"
Everyone gathered around Guilmon's discovery. On the floor was a heavy stone panel with a massive handle in the center.
"Our Antibody counterparts might be down there!" Cyberdramon exclaimed. "I'll help you open it."
Guilmon and Cyberdramon both pulled on the handle and opened the trapdoor.
"It can't be this easy." Fillymon cautioned. "Could be a trap."
"Trap or not, this is our only way of getting to their true base. Let's go!" BlackGatomon announced.
They all leapt down to find themselves in a rocky based tunnel. Dawnmon took the lead, using her flame to light the path ahead.
"We sure are going deeper below" Mako said.
"My scanners are detecting several lifeforms ahead." Guardromon spoke up.
"Then your AntiBody counterparts are not far away." Ai said.
"Oh don't worry. If things get bad..." BlackGatomon grinned before she and Renamon each clung to one of Guilmon's arms "Our lovers will protect us!"
"Good point" Lopmon grinned as she wrapped her arms around Terriermon.
Guilmon and Terriermon blushed at this.
"Yeah, I do understand how you guys feel." Impmon said as he noticed Fillymon giving him a sultry gaze.
"Anyway, let's move on. We're wasting time." Cyberdramon demanded.
They go down the dark tunnel, all keeping their eyes forward.
"It seems so quiet here. No sign of any enemies coming after us." Alice said.
"It's like they were expecting us to come?" Mako asked.
"If they are, we need to beware of what they have planned" said Renamon.
Suddenly they came across a huge stone blocking an entrance way.
"A dead end?" moaned Terriermon.
"No. I can hear noises from behind there!" Lopmon said.
"Poof!" MarineAngemon squeaked.
"One way to find out. Impmon, Cyberdramon, help me out!" Guilmon replied as he put his hands on the stone.
Impmon and Cyberdramon helped Guilmon roll the stone to one side.
There was a wide, open area inside. Lining the walls were more of the glass chambers. Only now there was more than green fluids inside. Various Digimon such Agumons, Veemons, Biyomons and many others hung in suspended animation. At the very far wall were eight large pods with green highlighted windows.
"What is this?" Ai asked, horrified.
"These poor Digimon souls were once vanquished in battle but are now being restored for the wrong reasons." BlackGatomon said sadly. She paid special attention to the glass chamber with a shapely white Gatomon inside.
Guilmon sniffed around for a bit until he located a computer near the huge pods. He walked over and checked on the screen.
"Oh man! It's the Reboot Program alright." He said.
"So they are using that forbidden programming," Alice observed as they all gathered around.
"They are using it on all these other innocent Digimon too" Renamon commented. "But if we free them, they would be under the AntiBody Digimon's mind control."
"Then we need to destroy the Reboot Program once and for all!" Impmon snarled. "Stand back, Guilmon. I'd destroy that computer once and for..."
"Stop right there!"
They all turned around and saw their X counterparts walking up towards them with hostile glares.
"We cannot allow you to do that!" Guardromon X snarled.
"I don't know how you found us but you have gone too far!" Lopmon X responded.
"Your old 'boss' told us of your location after we defeated him!" Cyberdramon snarled.
"Your little experiment? It's over! You're done!" Dawnmon shouted.
"Over? I don't think so. It has only just begun." Impmon X sneered.
"Did you know that the Reboot Program can do more than just revive Digimon from the brink of death? It holds many purposes." Guilmon X said. "In fact, it can make a mind more malleable. More pilabe to suggestion."
"Wouldn't think you need that, seeing how loyal your subjects are to you!" Guilmon retorted.
"Well sometimes, it's more than having an army. Sometimes it's about finding the right 'partners'." Terriermon X spoke.
"Honored. But definitely not interested." Impmon spat.
"Hahaha. You honestly think we are talking about you a lot? Ridiculous!" Renamon X laughed. "You couldn't even save your human partners when they were attacked at Hypnos!"
"The portal was opened far from Hypno's base before we could reach them! How dare you say that!" Renamon snarled.
"Heh. You may say that but we found the solution to that problem!" Cyberdramon X said as three of the huge pods started beeping.
"Oh. These three are done so early. They are faster than the others." Terriermon X remarked.
"Guilmon X, my love. I think it's time that our doubles here enjoy... a little reunion." Renamon X smirked.
"Hmph. I think so too." Guilmon X grinned.
They moved to the three pods in the center and pressed a button. With a hiss, the doors slowly open. A massive cloud of steam poured out. The Digimon Knights shielded their eyes from the gale rushing from the pods.
As soon as they regained their sights, they saw three silhouettes moved towards them.
In the center stood a male human with shaggy brown hair and a stubble. He is shirtless showing his robust chest and muscular four-pack stomach. On his arms are a pair of dark blue gauntlets with rope around the arms. He wore very tight jeans and black shoes.
One his left, a long blue haired male. He too would need a shave as he is growing a five o'clock shadow. He is also shirtless with a muscular frame but not so much like his brown hair companion. He also wore green gauntlets around his arms. He wore white pants and brown shoes.
And on his right was a female with red overflowing hair. She is also shirtless showing her spherical d-cup size breasts. She wore red fighting gloves on her arm and wore a black panties and red high-heeled boots.
They slowly opened their eyes. The pupils and irises had been replaced with a sinister, sickly green glow.
Guilmon, Renamon and Terriermon's eyes widened in horror. A sharp gasp came from all three.
"T-Takato." Guilmon gasped in shock.
"Henry." Terriermon yelped.
"R-Rika," Renamon exclaimed, covering her mouth with both her hands.
