Announcement:
Everyone has been viewing the story, which I'm glad for, in which I saw more minor errors in each chapter which I will fix at some point when I post this and a few other chapters of the other works I have been working on after I move in December (or already have and just posting after I moved, after some time to get settled, dealing with issues with family and more).
Some people have been wondering what Camelia represents (for both real life and the show) and to everyone's answer, facially, she resembles a younger India Joy Eisley with it also being mistaken at times of Ruby Rose, but it's both perfectly combined. Her voice is based on the one who voiced Mavis Dracula (Hotel Transylvania Franchise) with a decent blended accent to the actress mentioned but sings either as mentioned Vampiress or other female vocals (due to things down the road in the chapter, with ease). Her body is all to itself, however.
Camelia's other previous incarnations are based on a few minor alterations here and there… Not saying you might read one of them or not in this chapter.
Most of the details, to mention again, were doing research and looking into what would make my OC more interesting and more in appearance, alongside whatever outfits they wear, as someone also asked on that too as some are inspired by fan art, some from anime or others itself, and even games.
And a tidbit of minor info of "India", to mention from my current info looked into, she is still an actress who portrayed in the following: Eve from Underworld, Sawa within the movie known as Kite, Audrena in the movie known as Sweet Audrina, Ashley Juergans from The Secret Life of the American Teenager, and Fauna Hodel from I Am the Night (from TNT).
Just so you know, everyone to get back into things, this is going to be a longer set of in-part-based chapters due to it being the last episode of Season 1 of the JCA (Jackie Chan Adventures) Show and to simply expect a lot of things that you will not expect to learn or happen, and leave it at that, and I am placing it into parts due to it being the final episode of Season One of the show out of Five Seasons, which I have plans for Season Two.
Speaking of, the entire show and seasons are as of October 30th of 2022, are fully free for "Amazon Prime Members" for free shows and movies it gives out, so I might also be binge watching them as well, in which several series are free as of now: Monster Rancher, 1987 Ghostbusters, Chaotic, and even Totally Spies… Not that there is a reason for mentioning the few series or anything I just did so, for everyone, and for those that didn't know it as well
Anyways, and so you know… It is "Currently" Jade that's soulmates to Camelia by natural means yet not officially consummated in terms, despite them being magically married by power and soul, as it requires their heart and body too, especially since Camelia's "Beast" side took over the one chapter to make sure that Jade was hers and hers alone, unless she introduces to Camelia whomever she is also having the same feelings to as well (Hint-Hint for Jade)… Though, I do have a few pairings in mind of maybe just four girls for Camelia, not sure… But I do know one of the chosen is based on or involved with a "RPG Spider Girl" and the others are sent to her world from an odd god wanting more entertainment, and "Alive" this time with others too, in later chapters of course, and with most de-aged as well… Maybe hints of sorts near the end of the season chapters as well, as I will be posting part one up first.
Well… One that was suggested by someone's DM's to me as one of her four girls (spoiler), but she won't be introduced until Part 2, to this ongoing Season One Ending set of chapters, and would be involved in some later chapters as well. I have some other characters in mind for when Hogwarts comes around though, but they're not going to be Hogwarts Characters to pair her with, despite having ideas for their pairings too and how or why they're going to said school, to which I will post this chapter at least due to how long it has been for everyone, since I last did so.
I wonder who will guess who the girls are though?
And the reason for the shorter pairings is that I have seen the comments as well, and figured out why not make an actual limit at least for this story, and hope that you all do like whom I will pair Camelia with as Beta, the C-Word and Delta (and as hinted, at least one or two will have a shared girl as well, but leaving that to a surprise as to whom).
Hope you all enjoy the chapters as to how much I thought out and wrote it, and this time, with some "Battle Music Suggestions" for Youtube and also, I found a sad-like anime called "Vampire in The Garden" on Netflix to when it aired, and I have to say it's slow to get into yet it's decently done… And makes me want to add some, not all, of those characters into either this Fic or my others, and due to my niece having a particular marathon of a show on Disney Plus, gets me to add a specific entity as well and maybe other characters that might, and a big worded, MIGHT, be added to this story in future chapters… That, and a few others as well.
And once again as we resume the conclusion of the first season of the Fic itself, in these chapter parts… Expect the unexpected.
Chapter 13: The Truth and The Demonic Outcomes, Camelia's Origins Revealed, and She's a Truly Rare Dragon with Fully Donated Powers?!
Hours later, within Uncle's Shop, same day:
Jade was feeling fewer phantom pains from her heart, being relieved at knowing perhaps that the former statue may have healed Camelia of wherever she was with him to what they could, as she held a brief wince at feeling that pain again.
Captain Black knew this statue had to be a demon of some kind and made the Chan Clan irked at the unfortunate timing as Faolan, Amelia, Mike and Mazuria left the base to look into a mattering task that they sensed by the smell of sulfur in and when in disguise outside the base, or within the shadows, and had a solid lead from it being within or near an abandoned town somewhere in one of few old mining towns, in California.
They could have aided things in locating Camelia to make things easier, especially since they were informed by Seras of perhaps the demon may be more powerful to somehow block their guardian connection or protector bond between each other, and left them to try and meditate on things within Section 13.
Jade was brought out of her thoughts when she saw Uncle was still looking things up with Augustus and Jackie aiding the old man within his shop, as there were dozens of books out in trying to look into things, "Did the demon have any specific markings?"
"Red eyes, great big claws, and razor-sharp teeth aren't specific enough for you?!" Captain Black shouted at the end to Uncle, which he got a two-finger slap for before Uncle reminded him and his Clan once again by his small researched knowledge of this topic, "Thousands of Demon Sorcerers have existed throughout history! I need more information," not known to them someone was stepping into the shop, "A symbol, a name, anything!"
"Chan!" Stated the person to make them all turn to see the sumo man, Tohru, himself, as Jackie complained to him as indeed, they have more on their plate than they can handle, "Oh go away! We have no more talismans." Though Jackie and Jade were guarded along with Uncle in their stances.
Jade stilled for a few seconds at what Tohru said, and knew then that Camelia might have kept things from her yet guessed she didn't fully know if she was truly blood-related or not, "The demon's name: Shendu."
Later back in Uncle's study, they were all gathered, even Tohru, as Uncle read from a book based on him and a few other demons to them, "Shendu was the evil warlord of a vast kingdom, and he was imprisoned by his subjects and the twelve talismans from the Zodiac he drew his powers were scattered to the winds... He was in truth, not of sound mind after his younger twin sister to that of unknown title yet name of the adjusted flower, lilies, was sent by a demonic and unnatural armored man away into an equally, unnatural, dark, and twisted vortex that couldn't be heard of or something duplicated to soothe his heart. From the vengeance of means not told. After his imprisonment from his heart being as was, he vowed to return one day not only to resurrect his palace but conjure his dragon minions to wreak his vengeance upon the descendants of those who rebelled against him..." Uncle looked solemnly at reading further and stated to make Jade worried even more not for Camelia, alongside Jackie, but to what he said next, "By destroying all of Asia."
"Mom, Dad…" Jade stated in shock as yes, she was mixed with her family back in Hong Kong, but she still loved them as they unto her.
Uncle resumed reading and figured things out, "Shendu's former palace is located near what is now Hong Kong. His vengeance is to begin at the toll of midnight on Chinese New Year."
"Chinese New Year? That gives us only a couple of days." Captain Black stated before Jackie disagreed and placed a comforting hand on Jade's shoulder in response, "Less. Hong Kong is sixteen hours ahead of San Francisco."
Augustus nodded at this before informing them, "We'll take Section 13's fastest transport." He turned to make the call yet stilled as Uncle told them all in words he was mixed on, "Finding the demon is not enough… What must have the means of defeating it." Near the end, he was grunting out before Tohru gave him the top book, and made the old man be surprised yet still stated to him, "Thank you."
Uncle had the book under his right arm as he told them all again, in a tone he will not take no for an answer, "I will come with you."
"I will come too." Tohru's unexpected words made the four gaze at him weirdly as Hackie told him awkwardly, "Um. That's ok," though Captain Black raised an eyebrow and questioned the sumo man, "Tohru, why help us?" Jackie was then shaking his head at recalling his words back then to the large man, "I am told Section 13 serves donuts on Thursdays."
"I am sorry, but you must stay," Uncle told Tohru to which he looked irked and responded with the word, no, to get Uncle to perplex the sumo as he did lean down by a motion from the old man, before he two-fingered slapped his forehead gently, "You stay here! Someone must watch the shop."
Seeing his forced acceptance at that, Uncle smiled for a moment, "Good…" he then turned around and stated then, "Now, let me gather some things."
Jade was determined then after recalling all the times and friendship with Camelia in mere moments as she mainly stated to herself by her words, "Well, what do you say we save some lives."
Later on back in their shared room in Section 13, Jade was now crossed as Jackie was packing his suitcase to go, "Jackie! I have to come with you! I'm an essential part of the Jade Team… The cunning one, especially since he has Amy!"
"Jade." Jackie sighed out to her in understanding as he could see his niece was mixed up in emotions right now, especially seeing her tail was fidgety and twitching to know this, "This is not a movie. You know that this time, it is too dangerous." He ignored Jade's irritated huff as she looked away from him.
He did notice her holding her parent's shared photo with her in it, and saw unshed and developing tears within her eyes, as she was mixed between her original home and her friend, not knowing what the demon could be doing to her at all or why, even as his niece, wanted her as Jade has yet to reveal this knowledge to her Clan and friends, especially Captain Black.
"Your mother and father will be safe," Jackie kneeled at her height as she sat in a chair near him, "I will see to it, alongside saving Camelia."
"And I will see to it that he sees to it," Uncle added as he overheard the conversation and tried to soothe Jade, which only helped a little as Jackie rubbed her hair gently and didn't hear her let out an irritated 'Gurr' sound as once they were out of the room she stiffened before sharply turning behind her to see an unusual man nodding by his words, his eyes betraying their judgment, "To one's self of protecting the youth, is rather risky and cautious itself… Even though they may be in the wrong."
It was once again Aeroza, not known to Jade, that is, as she stood up and appeared guarded in seconds to only amuse the man, "How the heck did you get in here?!"
"I merely walked right in, Jadis Chan." He tells her to get Jade to stiffen before growling out as her eyes glowed for a few moments at correcting that issue, "It's Jade! Not Jadis…" she paused before being cautious and suspicious at the same time, "How did you know that?"
"I know many things, especially since they do have the Fire Demon's view, but there is more to that male demon dragon than told from books. Yes, books may have knowledge of things in acute assumptions or truth, but they don't always have what has transpired in the hidden truth of history." The man told her to truly confuse Jade, and he saw this and he casually shook his head before asking her, to still the child in place and changing the subject, "So how did those gloves work out for you?"
"You sent those gifts?" Jade stated more than questioned as he gave a single nod before responding with a small sly yet gentle smile, and motioning to her as well, "Correct. The others will be useful as time passes, but I think that there is one that could be useful as it will be of use only one time and disintegrate into dust, but it will help your friend as well. As small advice from sensing that forces from the Old Gods may soon reveal themselves as after all…" Jade gasped when he held his right hand casually out and a green-like flaming eyeball was revealed within and was panicking wordlessly before he crushed it and it left nothing but ash and dust that fell to the floor with ease, "You and those you have known were being spied on by more threatening forces, for months without notice. By the one Fiery Eye I just vanquished, and few others sent as scouts."
"It wouldn't have to do with Camelia's one beam she sent into the sky back then?" Jade warily questioned him, standing up from her seat, and saw him thinking, and with her just realizing that everyone was frozen in time besides the both of them, somehow, "In truth, you are correct as it was a beacon for mixed things to come to this world, and unexpected outcomes from it as well. The beam contained the child's very own essence of power, heart, body, mind, and soul rolled into a single yet revealing package. I am rather surprised by how slow that progress is taking for this world, but for how long, that would be unraveling with timed aspects itself."
Jade sighed as she was about to ask before blinking of a wrapped gift appearing into her formerly empty hands, and seeing his wordless look to encourage her, opened it only to be perplexed at seeing how small it was… It was a basic golden ring.
"Once you place that onto her hand's wedding finger as to where wives are, she would be cured of her true growing ailment that is doing more harm than good, as in secret… There is a spy hidden once again on this base and poisoned her with a delayed-release brew in a drink offered to her once you came back, and the agent is already gone. That, and you are also being part of the cure, and the brew itself is supposed to make her more vulnerable and cannot be removed unless by her own body's ability to adjust."
Jade thought in part ire, anger, sadness, and surprise at this, and didn't see the amused glint from Aeroza's eyes by her words as she rubbed her head and sighed out, "That has to be a new record for a person or something to get poisoned within months."
Jade sweat drops at the man's casual answer and wonders where he got a frozen drink from, "Not in truth, as there has yet to be a record for that."
He then looked serious about something and told her then in a tone with gentle yet firm words as he looked her right in the eyes, "If she does wear it, there are consequences between you both and those who, if she kisses them, would have the same thing occur to them as well. The ring must be placed on her fourth finger on her right hand, as in years, it will be significant for her."
Jade did strangely think about kissing her friend before she shook her head and had a momentary thought of seeing the man had another amused yet knowing glint within his eyes, from her choice.
"Alright, I'll do it, if it can help Amy." Jade stated after deciding on herself, and saw Aeroza clap once with a pleased look on his face, "Good… Though there is plenty of time to find Camelia, I highly suggest you raid Faolan's stash of books as he holds a truth given to him years ago for Uncle to understand why Shendu knows that your friend and soulmate, is his niece, and more not known by anyone. And it will be in your best interest to do so now while I paused time. You will have exactly…" Here he waved his left hand as an illusion of a digital time countdown soon was seen floating around Jade's head that was seven minutes and counting down, "Till the timer to get back into this room to do what your original intentions were."
He then vanished into a slight puff of rainbow-based smoke silently and Jade did hurry with a few minutes consumed to get to five minutes to try and find whatever the weird man told her about… And found it after nearly a few more minutes before rushing back to the room just in time, as time resumed once again for her, and with the old book within her hands as she quickly managed to place it into her hoodie's infinity storage.
"Don't let your guard down, Jade's… Uh, cunning." Jackie tells the two agents in charge of making sure Jade stays in the base, as both he and Uncle soon left, and Jade frowned from hearing this before getting an idea.
Eventually, the two agents backed up at seeing water start to flood, and opened the door to see a small wave of water gush out, then being perplexed by the belongings and whatever not being wet which, secretly, was Faolan's doing to prevent room-based damages on all rooms and enchanted each room, secretly, to prevent any damage by any means to one's belongings… Which he had to use for his work and living chambers, due to Camelia at times from her sneezing.
Anyways, one of the agents turned the faucet off as the water left the room itself as if possessed, and into the sewers itself, eventually, the door suddenly locked the two agents inside.
Jade was soon free to only hide once the red alarms began blaring, and saw agents going about in the chaos, and stated to herself, "Whoa… Jackie was serious about me not going-" she stilled in her spot at hearing that Valmont just escaped somehow, and got an instant idea this time as she managed to move the vent bars, and climb into the vent.
Moments later, she kept to her spot at hearing the Darkhand crawling in the same vent system close by and began to follow them, stealthily, and without seeing that behind her further back, was another lone flaming eyeball that vanished or went invisible.
Meanwhile, in the open sky in a fast Section 13 jet, Jackie was sitting next to Captain Black as one of the agents was soon banging on the bathroom door with Uncle replying to whomever it was, in a loud and distracted tone, "Go away! I am busy!"
"Um… You've been in the lavatory since takeoff." The agent told the old man as he revealed he made a lab inside it, "That is right! Laboratory! Do you want Jackie to defeat the evil demon? Yes? Then go away! Let Uncle work!" He then slammed the folding door in the agent's face.
Jackie and Augustus gave each other looks as in another plane five or so miles ahead, the Enforcers alongside Valmont were relaxing as the hired pilot was taking them to their destination, and in the cargo hold, Jade was there, looking at not only her parents' photo, but of a smaller one she snuck as well of her and Camelia, from the holiday photo of everyone as she stated to the one with her parents, "Don't worry, Mom and Dad, I'm coming."
Once she glanced at Camelia's, she was about to say something similar yet dropped both photos gently close to her as she instantly gripped her head, as an unexpected vision passed through her eyes.
It was a palace, some hazed and dark person using a strange skeleton-like wooden staff she couldn't make out on her friend, and more to which she saw herself very injured with Shendu facing a very big and monstrous yet hazed beast, yet the location wasn't in Hong Kong but somewhere else, and with seeing Camelia somehow healed yet with her having a golden aura around her frame and facing the beast, her seeing Shendu was turned to stone and Camelia crying over herself with her staring at her hands in absolute horror from seeing the shattered remains of the statue of the dragon demon while soon dropping weakly a weird looking collar in her other hand that was sparking in utter damage.
Jade gasped for breath as she held her heart and stated to herself, in shock, "What the heck was that?"
Hours later, the agents of Section 13, Captain Black, Jackie, and Uncle soon came to a vast clearing within the boundaries of Hong Kong.
"The palace!" Uncle exclaimed to make everyone blink at only seeing a green field of sorts, "Where?" Augustus asked the old man in doubt and disbelief as Uncle looked irritated yet gestured to the plains, "Here! For the inscriptions indicated."
"Look," Augustus began to tell Uncle then in a way he still supported him, but maybe figured he got the wrong coordinates from his research, "It's almost Midnight before the last day before Chinese New Year-" without warning, the ground began to shake and rumble.
Everyone was stunned as the Palace of Shendu soon rose easily from the ground to an obvious site in seconds, as dirt, dust, and debris easily fell and removed themselves from the roofs, walls, and more of the palace.
Speaking of it, Shendu's palace consists of numerous rooms and corridors, with a massive layout accommodating the size of its demon master. Its features include a massive courtyard, additional rooms, and guest chambers, including Shendu's throne room, bedchamber, and library, and a vault designed by limestone and other stone-based material, and the roofing is red encaustic tiles and open windows as well.
All in all, despite knowing who ruled it, it was gorgeous in sight and appearance.
"Never question the inscriptions," Uncle tells them before seeing a zooming shape of sorts fly straight into the palace itself to know Shendu had arrived, but sniffed and glanced to be grossed out from seeing to Jackie's knowledge, shark guts on some of the agents.
With Shendu as he held several dead juvenile great white sharks in one hand by the tail fins with ease, after hitting them by his laser beam eyes while flying as in his left arm held a dozing Camelia as herself, placed the sharks onto the ground and ignored the thud they gave off, as he glanced at her a few times before using his free hand to soon open a portal to which where specific people was, saw what he was trying to do.
Though before his arrival, he handled his niece's first egg-laying aspect of her first cycle, much to his gross ire with knowing that she would need to be isolated before the next new moon to handle her urges, which he would hope that she would seek out his sisters, as they no longer have to do so much from how powerful they were, but was embarrassing for them as well when they were younger.
Anyway, with the Chans, agents of Section 13, and their leader, Jackie asked Uncle as he had narrowed eyes from knowing the outcome of Shendu's purpose, "What is Shendu doing, Uncle?"
"Releasing his dragon army." Uncle states to shock those present before Captain Black sharply turned behind him at seeing a rookie agent shot off a missile right at the palace by sheer accident, causing Uncle to go 'Ha-Yah' loudly, and alerted Shendu before stunning them all at seeing he quickly erected a barrier of sorts to nullify the missile as it exploded upon contact.
"Fools! Shendu is immortal, and magic must defeat magic!" Uncle explained and exclaimed at the same time, before turning to Jackie, and holding the large vial containing a solution, "Jackie. This balm will enable you to penetrate Shendu's demon shell, and remove the talismans." Jackie gently took the vial, and asked to make sure, "Remove all twelve?"
Uncle soon gave him a look, and Jackie winced at recalling leaving her behind, "Not if you are cunning as Jade. The palace barrier will lower though, in time before the last hour of the new Chinese Year, as written in the inscription as well."
"So what? We have to camp out here?" A random agent stated before wilting from the sudden sharp look Uncle threw at him, "If we must keep track of his whereabouts, then yes!" As they reluctantly began to form a small camp, Jackie asked Uncle to make the old man sigh with his question, "You think Camelia will be alright?"
"Uncle is not certain, but he feels within here," here Uncle placed a hand on his heart to perplex Jackie yet he nodded in his elder's honest answer to him, "That she will be at least safe, despite Shendu being evil... It seems fate has mystery's all to her path for us as we await the judgment when the time comes, for when Chinese New Year begins."
Not known to the group or Shendu, Valmont was prepared for this endeavor as he held out a sealed scroll he knew might come in handy with his Enforcers in the background close to him, and Jade being hidden yet in eased access to the side of the far side of the palace, near some crates.
"Gentlemen," Valmont's words soothing spoke out with a smirk on his face, starting to open the scroll, "Once I reveal the item I have in my hand thanks to a person who I made plans with and has our best interests beforehand Shendu's return, we shall have our treasure we are owed before the Chinese New Year comes."
This got greedy grins from them, with Ratso hearing a shuffling sound, glanced to see nothing as Jade had a hand to her heart a few times and sighed with quick relief, and resumed watching them.
Once the scroll was opened, a hellish-green aura developed around it to make the man drop the item in question, before an unusual amount of glowing seals came out of it and hit the barrier in front of them, making a sigil-based circle to which they soon swirled fast and made a clear-cut opening for them to enter as long as they needed, and the sigils still moving as fast as possible.
"Let's go before he becomes aware," Valmont ordered as, within moments, his Enforcers alongside the loyal remaining began making movements and carrying things into what appeared to be a secluded and slightly large part of the palace walls, to which that was perfectly sliced as well.
Jade managed to sneak in and somehow out of sheer luck, avoided the thugs and Darkhand members by overhearing some minor plans of what they wanted to do with their share of the treasure yet was perplexed by them being told by their leader they have to wait for the right opportunity to strike as the other scroll he got, couldn't be used for escape until after Chinese New Year's beginning for ten or so minutes ahead or more.
Jade decided to be bold and went further into the palace and soon… She got lost.
"Well, great job Jade… Way to make yourself try and solo this without thinking how bad things are to even venture into." Jade spoke to herself in ire-like wariness before she hid in perfect timing at seeing Shendu was carrying Camelia to what appeared to be a large set of double doors his size with the doors having, strangely, an imprint of flowers on them and she followed to be inwardly stunned to see it was a female chamber of sorts that can be large enough for the male demon to enter and exit with ease, within his true size.
The walls held a gentle etching by artists of flowers around the upper edges and lower of each wall within the large room, with many living arrangements of furniture and more from back then, and well preserved as well to not break or fold easily. Most are made from an oak tree of sorts.
The bed itself was massive, yet the sheets were silky and smooth, and the mattress itself was fit for a queen from the right amount of softness and hardness for a peaceful sleep, and was oddly designed based on the cartoon movie, Sleeping Beauty by Disney, but in a way, had white ivory materials with each pole having an unusual and different bird mascot and facing forward to the front, and the bedding is mainly, as most of the furniture in colors, green, light brown, and silver-based.
There was even a full body mirror to guess the person could change their size at will, as it was human-based, with some smaller boxes and well-preserved paintings that were interesting as well on some parts of the walls too. There were even a few bookshelves filled with scrolls and old and preserved books.
Shendu gently placed Camelia in the center of the large bed and tucked her in while glancing at the room in hidden secrecy and with him looking to have recalled a few things, before shaking his head as he used a single digit to gently caress the left part of the child's hair and soon stated to himself, "It is only fitting that you to stay in her room, as she would have wanted that, while here. I just hope you wake up soon from your conflict within."
He stiffened as Jade hides further in her spot at smelling a scent, and stated in a low growl as Jade clasped her hands to her mouth to prevent her to breathe a bit loudly in growing wariness and fear, his words hinted of perhaps anger, or something else that she wasn't sure of, "Whoever you are… I can smell your growing dread and fear!"
He then began to sniff her out to which she kept still, and before he could look down as to where she was hiding, he sniffed deeper before growing irritated at recognizing the new stench and let out a low roar as he left the room in a hurry, as nearby Camelia was what Aeroza gave the demon next to the large stand.
After taking a few moments to calm herself after seeing he was gone, Jade hesitated but got out and, as it was to herself, indeed seeing the room was amazing in design before shaking her head and going over to Camelia.
Jade saw her friend was at least peacefully sleeping right now, and sighed in relief, before she gasped and nearly forgot about the ring, and hesitated as she held it but she did place it where it was supposed to go… Until she was suddenly blinded by a dark-like light from Camelia that not only took her but the item on the stand, and quickly saw she ended up somewhere else than the sanctuary.
Jade was on a stained platform that was not known to her, was Camelia's current Inner Platform within herself, and looked around the area before she was unexpectedly grabbed suddenly by her friend from missing a laser beam of darkish-purple light and saw an entity to make Jade gasp for once, and with Camelia as they soon separated from each other by the massive hand that briefly smacked down as it roared at them both.
It is a massive, slender yet feminine, humanoid shadowy entity with blackened skin with perfectly toned muscles in the right areas. Its legs are rather short and its feet are very thin and curl upward, from it rising a bit before lowering at the back of the platform. Its arms are quite long, and it has four relatively large, twisted draconian wings on its back. There is a large, heart-shaped hole in the abdominal area, which penetrates straight through from the front to the back. Its head is covered in dozens of twisted, black tentacles like a mask, and only its small, glowing yellow eyes are visible, and similar horns similar to Camelia were seen, but they were a dull silver color and had a similar tail behind it as it currently floated at the end of the glass platform with ease. Its claws are also similar to Camelia, but more deadly looking as well, and looked like it won't harm the creature, but would easily harm the enemy.
Jade blinked as she saw her own shadow emit some kind of aura right into the entity as a black and silvery mist within the empty heart, and it roared as it was soon filled with a floating, energy-like mass as the tentacles around its face went back into it and revealed a reptilian-like humane face similar to them both in perfect blending, and with sharp dull-silvery teeth as the eyes grew bigger to see they were amber-slit like a dragon.
Soon, a nameplate bar appeared in both girls' vision when seeing this thing's improved look, and was labeled as Chaos Dracoside.
Both Jade and Camelia then heard unusual music that began to lightly play around the area as they began to defend themselves against this thing.
Music for YouTube: KINGDOM HEARTS 3 dive to the heart darkside ost extended (Dejuan Wilson)
"What does this thing want with you, Amy!" Jade shouted as she dodged a wild clawed hand that was stretched out to try and knock her away into the abyss yet failed as she dodge and rolled away to safety.
Camelia did the same before startling her friend at how long she was facing this thing as she did look tired, from a quick observed glance before they both dodged laser beams from the Chaos Dracoside's eyes, "Not sure… Feels like I've been dodging this thing for days."
Jade was about to reply before she was wrapped up by the tail the Chaos Dracoside has and began screaming in pain to still Camelia over as Jade was a hostage and she didn't want to harm her and the creature, at the same time, before she saw it began to gather the darkness around the outside of the platform and condense it into a ball around her size… Before she yelped as she was soon dodging as the former sphere of darkness split into many smaller orbs that rain from the sky, and tried to deal damage to her.
Camelia's body acted mainly on instinct as she dodge-rolled several times around the center in a full circle before the creature groaned lowly in irritation at her dodging its attack.
The Chaos Dracoside soon sharply smirked as it punched the ground, causing a dark pool and mild shockwave to form, which she dodged in time.
This attack gives birth to a small number of reptilian-like entities similar to the one that she knew Deathwing always blasted away, as she was making Jade and the entity, if it could, sweatdrop as she was running away from the small group in circles before it stopped her by a large hand and sent her with a simple flick to the smaller creatures with Jade shouting her nickname at her in fear.
Acting on instinct once again, she held out her hands without realizing she let out a holy yet dark-based energy wave that sent the creatures that were about to assault her, over the edge of the platform, and blinked a few times before gaping at her smoking clawed hands and soon after, hastily rolled away from being grabbed by the angering creature.
Chaos Dracoside soon made both girls wary as it created a dark force in the heart-shaped hole in its body, which fires dark homing missiles, and was empowered by the energy siphoned from Jade's darkness, secretly.
Camelia then ran in another full circle and then the opposite as it sent another wave of missiles at her.
To be truthfully honest with herself, she was extremely tired as when she was passed out by whatever was ailing her, she ended up here and performing some kind of test of sorts by an unusual voice and was surprised by her choice of keeping them all: A Sword, A Staff, and A Shield that were designed by a mix of Greek and Christian means with each centerpiece holding a heart-shaped blue diamond in them, and Latin runes on some parts of them as well.
Then she faced challenge after challenge until this entity soon came from the darkness that manifested from the platform itself, and formed around the outer edge of it.
To everyone, as she doesn't know, time was meaningless of sorts while Camelia was in here, and would be considered training grounds or other for herself, or in terms, being tested within.
Back to what was going on, Jade struggled in the Chaos Dracoside's firm tail grip, and realized she was getting weaker each minute that passed to realize, to her horror once again as she felt this way from that Kraken… The energy she forget she had from asking about, from Faolan, had, was being siphoned into it.
The Chaos Dracoside then did the same tactics at least two more times with Camelia looking like she was about to collapse, much to Jade's new growing horror at seeing somehow, the entity was wickedly grinning at this as if it expected her friend to tire herself out.
Camelia suddenly fell on one knee and her head to the ground, heavily panting with her eyes bleary while she felt her heart heavily thudding within her chest and didn't see the creature was about to slowly grab her… Until it let out a garbled roar or shock as something sent it back by a figure appearing right in front of Camelia.
Music Pause.
The person was not what both girls expected to be at all: It was a girl similar to Camelia as a human.
She was older though, around it between either fourteen or sixteen with a decent C-Cup chest size, and delicate yet sensual and slender curves while wearing the one battle armor similar to the one within Section 13, but was gothic-dragon based with the shoulders having metallic dragon skulls without horns and with the one on her left having ruby gemstone eyes, and the right having blue diamond eyes. The cape though was shorter with the edges and center having a four to five-inch edged design for it, and the armor is mainly black as the night itself with pure white and silver etchings and accents.
Her eyes were glowing green with a greenish mist gently moving to the sides of her face, however, and she had delicate yet sharp teeth just like Camelia's.
Her weapon was that very blade Camelia picked up so long ago before she met the Chan's themselves, but the blade itself was glowing an ethereal blue mixed with, to specific people's senses, holy and demonic energy combined.
She glanced at Camelia before looking right back at Chaos Dracoside as she didn't say a word, but sent a wave of multiple crescent-like energy waves at the tail and made Jade let out a startled yelp as she fell onto her back, and with the creature howling in pain before they saw Jade hastily getting up and checking Camelia over, as it grew back.
Jade glanced between both the newcomer and Camelia as she even blinked as the girl sounded just like her, seeing she was glaring right at the creature in familiarity, "Stay or fight, as this thing will harm you further if it stays."
To prove a point, a dark and seeable aura covered the creature's frame as it grew a bit bigger and had misting eyes this time, and it twitches in place before letting out an echoing roar the new girl similar to Camelia, managed to evade the two girls themselves as it flared right at all three.
Resume or Restart The Music.
"What are we supposed to fight with?!" Jade exclaimed before Camelia could to her older doppelgänger who gave them a look before moving them aside as it sent thicker lasers that soon followed the girl, and Camelia and Jade moved away from more of those creatures it summoned from a near-fisted crush.
It appeared as Camelia had her hand out to shove Jade aside they heard screeching from some being instantly destroyed as she gaped but seeing she had her sword out in one hand but in the other… Was an unusual one as Jade nearly fell onto her butt from seeing something similar yet different appeared in her own hands as well.
Her extra blade has a blackguard with a silvery eastern draconic skull in just the right size attached with an open maw that the rest of the blade came out of. The top of the guard is decorated with two emerald and ruby teardrop shapes. The tip and base of the shaft are white, while the center is a darker shade of emerald. It is lined by three diamond-shaped gaps and black, concave edges. The head of the blade is silver, and the teeth are three large, crimson, teardrop-shaped spikes with black edges. The Keychain token resembles the teeth and consists of three small teardrop-shaped spikes that are dark magenta with black edges.
The words, Prevailing Innocence, were spoken in moments within Camelia's head, like a dozen or so faint whispers from various people, all at once.
Jade's was that of an unusual katana with her being stunned to see that the handle was the very same one from Tchang Zu's gift. The blade also held a star gem that was near the hilt and based on her birthstone in color, and there was unknown ancient-looking kanji written perfectly on the sides that matched in writing, as the katana itself looked to be of a reverse edging to know it was a reversible blade. The metal, however, was not man-made or anything known, but looked similar to Camelia's new blade in exact materials.
The duo didn't get a chance to observe their weapons more before they dodged an unexpected missile or two, and made Camelia's older self of sorts blink, before smirking at seeing Chaos Dracoside roar in stunned agony and shaking its right hand hastily as if it got burnt, before swiftly soaring up into the sky as the doppelgänger of Camelia raised her weapon above her head since a barrier was soon formed within moments, as it hailed thousands upon thousands of shadowy balls that exploded upon the contact of the barrier for at least a minute or two.
The trio then dodged once again as it tried to harshly stomp the ground to make them jump at a shockwave of a darkness-based energy wave from the center, with it roaring skywards as it then sent from the glowing hole it has, homing orbs that by their weapons guiding the two girls and the older doppelgänger of Camelia's own, sent it right back to explode either Chaos Dracoside's face or the glowing hole area.
After the fifth one was sent, it became dazed enough to deal damage, and with Camelia's and Jade's weapons pulling them in guidance as they easily saw they were dealing true damage with them as they hacked and slashed randomly several times before it regained consciousness, stood up, and then nearly knocked them down before jumping up… And crashing the platform to make them land on another one as it repeated this tactic two more times, and with the trio landing on two more similar platforms.
After that, it enraged and gained a slight reddish aura for a few moments before leaping into the air and sending forth fiery purplish and black mixed flame balls at them randomly, before blinking like the other two girls at seeing Camelia was able to devour a few of them by sheer accident to which she paused mid-step, looking ready to puke, and sent both blasts as a golden flame right back at the creature to send it into its glowing hole to cause an explosion, and make it stunned enough to deal with more damage and with seeing the doppelgänger girl sending green and silvery mixed lightning bolts at it from her free right hand a few times.
It then sent a minor wave to bring them onto their behinds as it swirled a full 360-degree movement several feet into the center of the air above them, and began dispatching with each twitchy movement, a plasma ball of darkness that also detonated upon contact with the surface of the platform, from the hole it has, and after the seventh orb they dodged by being separated from each other, Camelia's doppelgänger made another barrier that was timed from seeing the creature sent out dozens of plasma blasts at them then.
The Chaos Dracoside was soon tuckered out after that before being conquered when as one, and the two girls not having a choice of how their bodies responded with their weapons aiding them, all pointed their weapons with the tips touching as an immediate, powerful, and rainbowish beam of raw energy was sent right at the creature as it was roaring in defiance as it was sent miles and miles away and out of the Inner Sanctum of Camelia.
End Music.
The trio's weapons then dismissed themselves with them equally panting in place, as Both Camelia and Jade gazed at the doppelgänger yet before they could question anything, she spoke firstly with a proud smirk on her features, and standing smugly as well, "Well, that thing won't bother you in here at least."
"Who are you?" Camelia asked as for some reason, she felt like she was forgetting something from seeing this girl look like she was, if she still looked humane, and saw her doppelgänger's mood shift to a solemn one and saw her shrugging at them both, and knowing glistening orbs she blinked back before responding to mainly her, and with being stunned by recognizing Jade's eyes in secret, "Well… I'm your previous life out of a few."
That stunned the duo to which they did see Jade's jaw drop at this news and tinted as, like her friend, this doppelgänger had a more interesting figure with a slim yet toned and delicate hourglass, as Camelia only asked one thing as more than a million questions ran in seconds from her mind, "How?"
"It is a long story, but that won't be until we meet again to start your training as to what I know to you, so when you can handle it… So for now, call me Cammy." The doppelgänger, Cammy, told them gently as her words were mainly to Camelia until the end as she glanced at both girls, and crossed her arms under her bust to hide her inward amusement of Jade trying to hide her blushing face in the pose she was in to show off slightly.
Before any of the younger girls could reply, Skuld appeared with her unexpectedly hugging the older girl to which she looked awkward yet gently patted Skuld's back and gave them looks for later as she told them, wanting to speak to the girl she was hugging in private, as they were sent into a set of silvery double large doors with a heart insignia in the center, "You both should wake up then stick around, cya!"
Though not known to them, golden light from Camelia flashes as something unexpected would surface.
Jade woke up feeling weak somehow but felt her right hand get gently squeezed by seeing Camelia was weaker yet she was fully awake, but they soon glanced and blinked in surprise at seeing two sleeping girls laying on each other against a nearby wall, and Camelia not noticing the ring on her finger yet.
The first was a girl a bit younger than them by a few years seeing she had chestnut-colored hair and a delicate yet gently rounded face and doe-like eyes that were shut while wearing a beige summer dress that showed her arms with ease, and tan short blue jeans with wearing basic white sneakers with a black dragon design on them.
The other was a girl around their exact age (not known to them) as a developing hourglass preteen girl closer to eleven or twelve in looks, that is, and has light green toned skin and looked mostly human with patches of scales on her lower part of her face on the sides, but she also has a slimmer figure along with some developing muscles from her lithe form. She also wore a black kimono-style top with a light purple trim on the collar, purple flowers printed on the bottom of the sleeves, and a purple and white obi that ended just above her waist. With it, she had a pair of black hip-hugging skinny jeans that showed off a fair bit of her stomach, and a pair of zori sandals with a purple thong.
To mention, she is around 4'6 in height, and her hair was honey-colored with a few silver streaks in her hair that also sparkled slightly from the light. Her eyes were unaware for a few moments as they were wide in fear, and with her eyes having slitted pupils and being dragon-like, (just like Shendu's glowing eyes, but held no glow). She also has two "L" shaped marks that were faintly visible under each of her upper cheeks, on her delicate oval face alongside the long part going upwards and then curved down.
This was both Zala Rushamoore, and Zelinda Daemon, half-sisters to the same mother, but two different fathers.
It was this scene that Shendu came into the room as he was about to grab Jade and get her out of his niece's current chambers, after making a reluctant deal, but stilled as he saw the other two girls and recalled the words of a specific Magi Man, and facepalmed loud enough to get Jade's attention and slightly amused the dragon demon by her getting hastily on the bed and hid besides Camelia as she was wary of what was going to happen.
He glanced at them and back to the two new arrivals knowing exactly who they were, and sighed out to make both Jade and Camelia blink at him, "Seems things are drastic as fate weaves her string for my unexpectedness in life."
He then snapped his fingers as to astonish the two girls, actual servants up to eight came into the room and seeing they were mainly human-based with hints of dragon features like horns, different heights, eyes, human or unusual skin coloration, pointed ears, and tails they had while wearing either a fancy black butler or maid-based uniform, came into the room and bowed out of respect for Shendu.
"See to it that my daughter and her half-sister are given a similar and comfy shared room within my home, as I will decide who will serve my niece as she stays here." Shendu firmly orders out with both Camelia and Jade mouthed the word, daughter, as the servants easily carried the two girls out of the room at that point.
"Truth be told, I was hoping you would free them, My Niece." Shendu told Camelia to make her blink and point at herself wordlessly as if she didn't expect what he said, and Jade got his attention as despite her being a Chan, he was respectful of sorts due to her being his niece's few 'Destined Ones', "How is she your niece and you having a kid-" she stiffened and kept her guard up as he corrected her, "Two. She is my youngest as my eldest son was lost as well to me."
"Ok, two kids… How did you manage that as a statue?" Jade finished her question as he sighed before sitting on the sofa large enough for his size to guess to the two girls that whoever lived in this room did allow the demonic company to enter in either form.
Shendu hesitated before he began to explain things in simpler terms to the two girls as they didn't expect this, "At times, some demons like myself can be freed if we get summoned by either a mishap or more by, my stony case, ending up in a mortal shell to compensate my issues as a stone dragon formerly. I was summoned twice in my lifetime, as yes… I am enjoying my freedoms within my own two legs, but I either had a borrowed set of legs or mortal ones made for my reasons of the spell used to summon me. A possessed one for some, and spelled flesh from my youngest daughter. I died under both unfortunate circumstances knowing my son's mother was taken and feeling her life essence stilled into stone somewhere on the globe. The other mother to my youngest was slain by those wanting to use my other child for gain by what one of my Shadowkhan servants told me, yet fortune sealed those two girls you saw into a meager trinket… To which you freed your cousin, my niece."
Camelia was rather stunned by this like Jade was, and they didn't know or how she did so to which he chuckled and told mainly her, with an amused look on his features, "You somehow fixed your ailment and added the Chan Girl by what I sensed. Something I haven't felt in eons for and yet, she was the one to awaken you. To which she has guest latency… For now."
"For… Now?" Camelia croaked out with a wince at how raspy she sounded before she stilled with Jade seeing he was up to something, came over and easily reached out while placing a clawed tip of his right hand to her forehead and was instantly channeling his demonic energy into her as the sliver of energy long forgotten, mixed with the blessing of the Tiger Talisman… Was unleashed in more ways than one, which she would find out later as the days passed.
Camelia coughed as he let go with a smirk as she grabbed her throat, and Jade glared at him in growing anger without realizing she let out a possessed growl as she declared to amuse the demon male dragon further, in unexpected protectiveness, "What did you just do to Amy?!"
"Something that I decided to do after knowing that my power has returned, by bestowing her a gift to not only fix what has wronged her but to improve it as well," Shendu told Jade in a way, she was a simpleton as he glanced expectantly at Camelia.
She coughed a few times and easily stunned Jade with the Chan Girl placing her hands over her mouth as after so long… Camelia truly spoke normally as she asked him, expecting to raspily her words slowly with pain and to which she was using her hands weakly at signing as well, "What do you mean?" Camelia paused for a few moments before realizing from not seeing Jade slowly began to smile at her friend, and for Shendu only to smirk in self-pride, as she spoke once again, "I'm fully talking without having to take a breath?!"
"It is the least I can do for bringing back my youngest from her cursed placement," Shendu told her to get Camelia to give a hesitation of a nod at understanding, as she guessed from how long he knew her as him unto her, he was preparing to do this regardless.
Camelia and Jade kept their questions to themselves, however. as she still felt weak, but a bit better with trying to not blush when she was being assisted by Jade to simply walk, by his words to follow, "Now… As you are my unforeseeable guests, for the time being, allow me to show you my palace."
He grabbed them both and ignored Jade's look of being mixed with hurt pride and being stunned by the male dragon demon's actions, and Camelia's secretive amusement, indeed showed them around with both girls eventually after being shown the kitchens, were stunned at seeing Valmont's henchmen and himself being forced to clean up the palace as servants, if the servant robes they were wearing over their current clothing had anything to go by.
"I figured that fool will try and swipe what is mine within my domain. So the deal is that they can stay as long as they do adequate work and if they do at least a decent job closer to my draconian servants that managed to enter my palace from their sealed imprisonment, then they will have parts, not all, of the previous deal they made with me." Shendu clarified to the two girls, and ignored Valmont's heated glare aimed at him for a moment before a male butler whacked him on the head as he resumed scrubbing old blood from the carpet near the dining hall.
"Is that a bit harsh?" Camelia asked her question out loud when she was going to think it and felt like Deathwing facepalmed to himself as Shendu paused for a few moments and glanced at her before he shrugged gently to not throw her or Jade off the shared shoulder on his left, and resumed walking, "In truth, it is what they deserve as Mortals like them care only for greed, glory, or other's riches to fulfill the purpose of their short life span. So it seems only fitting they work to get what they truly owed."
Jade said nothing as she didn't want to admit it, but thought Shendu's way to handle them was justified of sorts to her mind, but saw Camelia thought differently as close to twenty minutes later, they came to a large set of secured doors that seemed to have been attempted to open many times over with signs of weapons or whatever in faded marks, and with the lock itself resembling that of a sideways-eight eastern dragon without wings, and the lock itself made of some type of mixture of metals and hinted limestone.
Camelia's and Jade's wordless shock as he placed them down to realize he showed everything already to them, stated in finality with meaning to his words, "And we come to the last place of personal interest… My vault contains many things, including the foolish treasure of Valmont's greed, as it is the treasure I claimed after I pilfered it and placed old traps at the previous placement with a joking note, the Treasure of Ching Xi Hung."
Both girls marveled as he unlocked it with ease and they saw how endless the room inside went as they saw most of the walls may contain things not related to the treasure, yet it was massive and utterly unexpected to those seeking to be rich.
"In terms of how much value it will be to your young minds," Shendu began as the trio entered the vast room, "Is worth ten-thousand times what Valmont owes in lost assets for collecting the talismans for me, and to his riches, he took from others by means to which your stomachs might churn."
Jade and Camelia shivered as Jade was about to stop Camelia from touching another ruby similar to what she dubbed as of late, her Worrying Ruby, to maybe have two before they turned to Shendu as he chuckled at her with him simply crossing his arms and shaking his head as if he recalled things, "She did also like this treasure at times and even aided on expanding it, despite it being linked to me as to if I die, so too does the treasure."
He did keep his growing amusement at Camelia's hesitation of nabbing, with a secretive surprise he easily kept at bay, that type of gemstone, but told her mainly while eyeing Jade, "You may grab whatever your heart's content is, Youngling… Despite the Chan Girl being in here." Jade did sweat dropped at that tone near the end of being disliked.
"Why?" Camelia questions him as she did place the ruby in with her other one, and they didn't see the minor glow as they merged into an inch bigger version to know there will be more surprises later on for the child, and Shendu told her to once again stun both girls at his slight chuckle at the end of his words, and gestures to the room, "Because, despite Jackie Chan's darker side fulfilling Valmont's Oath, alongside to what instated for my death affecting a minority of this vast room and the mention of how this treasure's wealth dies via myself not by a small percent, you were able to use the final piece of the Tiger Talisman to awaken me fully… In simple terms, all of my treasure is yours by righteous fulfillment and familiarity passing."
"She's even richer now?!" Jade states in shock to make Shendu pause and gaze sharply at her as in a sharp wordlessly way to say, explain, and simply shook his head at the duo trying to do so and understood what the Chan Girl meant, "So it seems my sister was married and mated to a wealthy mortal with magic at least." He spoke aloud to himself, and stiffened both girls as Camelia softly asked the demon, easily hearing and glanced down at her, "What did you say?"
"Your Mother is my lost younger fraternal twin sister… Don't you recall the trip within your mind? It revealed that to you and other hints of sorts, and why myself and my other brethren have been allowing you to call us by either Uncle or Aunt, in the title." Shendu informed her to which both he and Jade saw she was frozen in place and held her head, and before Shendu could or even Jade, one of his dragons was within the room followed by another, in mortal form, and easily holding her in a carrying hold as she fainted from being overwhelmed.
She, yes she and the one to hold onto Camelia, was around 5'4 in height. She has a delicate oval face with a button nose, and small pointed elfin-like ears within her dark magenta or closer to dark pink mixed hair styled to a specific Pokémon and within a ponytail, alongside having roundish-wide amber eyes.
She wore an outfit that went well with her delicate yet slightly petite and slender figure (with a basic C-Cup), however, as it was a dark blue with a teal triangle shape on the shoulders and a beige maid outfit with a light-blue tie ribbon around the chest to neck. White leggings with black running slip-on shoes with light-pink streaks on the sides, and blue soles.
This is Nazila Lee Harmony, a particular female dragon that was time-sealed, like the rest, long ago, and was saved by Shendu in the process to become one of his palace servants in return.
All due to what she was when she came to this world long ago, from a taken world where her many kinds of races were able to shift into humanized looks and more, from a particular and alternative verse of it, that is.
The other was a male servant taking the appearance of a tall, handsome adult with black hair with blue highlights on the right, purple eyes, pale skin, and some markings under his left eye in the shape of three upside-down triangles in teal colors.
He wore, although, a butler's outfit that consists of black trousers with a lightning bolt etched design on the sides, a six-buttoned double-breasted tailcoat with the buttons being diamond-shaped, and a gray vest as on his shirt are dark-green cuffs and a tie that holds the Crest of Shendu. He furthermore sports white gloves, a pocket gothic-looking watch, and a chained silver lapel pin bearing the same crest, which is traditionally worn by the house's, or in this case, the head butler to the palace.
This was Malcolm "Max" McAstral, an interesting demonic dragon servant as well that runs the palace under Shendu's orders for all servants, including the one who is holding Camelia, and an older cousin to a particular hellish butler.
"It seems, My Lord, that Nazila sensed Princess Camelia's need of being caught… Despite your firm orders for not entering your vault without permission." Malcolm firmly stated ignoring Nazila's brief wince at her unexpected actions to which Shendu merely raised an eyebrow as he saw the unexpected sister and servant bonded lines of teal and blue, and strangely, inside his niece's bag on her back, she nabbed beforehand was a faint and dimly glowing golden line… Though he did see a timer of sorts in that particular line, as it would seem it would be a while for whatever was in that bag of hers.
The Demon Sorcerer of Fire knew from seeing a tangled line around his servant, that her bond was blocked by her by some unforeseen force he hardly recognized, but decided to keep a lid on this and the other, for now.
"Indeed…" Shendu tells his Main Butler before seeing him now, with shock being hidden amongst Malcolm's features and with Nazila simply showing it with her mouth also agape and her eyes a bit wider in wordless response, and even Jade looking between all three of them in her wordless response by his unexpected orders, "Prepare the meal I brought for us three, as Nazila is to be my Niece's Servant until further notice. In fact… Make it a celebratory occasion of what I would like mixed with things, and have To-Lan produce the one healing drought for Lady Camelia as well, as she needs to regain her strength and further heal from her past mistreatment."
"It shall be done, my lord," Malcolm declared in respect as with a blink of the eye, he was gone in hastened speed to carry his words out.
"Nazila…" Shendu spoke to make the servant jump by his firm glare from his glowing eyes and face, "Do not disappoint me as this is higher regard of your gratitude for your services, even though you and everyone else were sealed away except for Lady Camelia's recently placed Servitude Bodyguard, a Vampiress I blocked for now from one of her true few parents. And if she asks, you will follow without questions." Nazila hastily nodded seeing he was pleased and knew he could trust the girl to do her job well.
"Good." He spoke in a still-pleased tone and turned to Jade as she was keeping the urge to show her obvious surprise while staying firmly in place for being brave, and also hiding her small amounts of rage as well with including her by his next set of words, "And you two may go to any room with an escort or with myself, but you will be present when the time comes for my army to enter and aid me with my plans, as my Niece will be rather not happy if you weren't there."
He then left in speed to get Jade to let out an exasperated breath of air she didn't realize she held in and looked between her friend and Camelia's eventual newly made maid, and asked Nazila while seeing her thinking after, "Is there anything fun to do here at all?"
As the maid began leading to where Jade requested, they didn't see the green flaming eyeball materialize before vanishing to follow them.
Within an old and forgotten mining town, in the deserted outskirts of California, at this time:
An individual was watching from their own of many summoned Scryer Eyes or otherwise known as FireEye's to observe their interests as they located the unusual power months ago, upon their arrival to this world thanks to the event as the beam itself allowed not only this person, but others they fellow, to this world and set up an eventual link to this world to a few variations of their original realm and others, especially since they sensed their existence was vanquished, twice, in the one realm with an entity that they knew, was still plotting as we speak.
Though around somewhere in an old military base in Nevada, the secretive set of shops that followed were making their unfortunate new home more hospitable as we speak.
The light, however, showed more from the person deciding to take a break and think of what to do, to make the child serve their cause to reveal it was a male of some race.
I couldn't describe him, sorry, just look him up.
To everyone, this person secretly survived his, yes his, second time of death, and still serves the vast group known as the Burning Legion and one where he sensed, another version of himself whose fate was altered, died at the hands of the realms heroes, and another that was a fellow general to the legion itself and those that decided to go with has just secretly arrived at this world known as Gaia or Earth, to the humane tongue, and some by finding ancient manuscripts only recently… Lost Avalon.
He is a race known as an Orc from a world recognized by a few as Draenor, and has quite a few titles as well… This was Gul'dan: Darkness Incarnate, Destroyer of Dreams, Great Betrayer, and Betrayer of the Orcs. And also, he is a Warlock, Necrolyte, and Necromancer, and has regained hints of corrupted versions of his Shaman-based power.
In truth, he was rather surprised by sensing demonic forces already in play on this world yet knew they would never willingly or forcibly join their cause due to how exposed they were to their ways and lives.
Nonetheless, he was rather crossed from some parts of the Burning Legion finding actual freedom as it was only the few that were given a chance, joined the former parts of the army itself that secretly arrived a few decades ago in secret, labeled as the Freed Legion, and didn't mind it as they made agreements to not interfere with each other, and was in glee at knowing not one but two factions of Naga were also coexisting on Gaia itself.
Even going as far as taking the prisoners and kidnapped individuals closer to the hundreds before they arrived as well, from Azeroth.
Gul'dan was brought out of his musings when he heard thudded hoof-based steps as he straightened up and turned fully around with a few clanks of his staff, at seeing the large Eredar himself looking at him expectantly.
Idk how to detail this guy either, so look him up too.
It was a male Man'ari Demonic Eredar, the Supreme Commander of the Burning Legion, Chief Lieutenant of the Corrupted Titan known as Sargeras, and some titles to his name: Kil'jaeden.
"It seems this world is bountiful for The Legion at least, Warlock." Kil'jaeden firmly told the old Orc to which he nodded once in silent agreement, "Indeed Lord Kil'jaeden. It was with sheer untold luck that I managed to guide you and your troops to the world we are on. The significance of power is dwelling somewhere in it, the power that I sensed brought you from your timeline to this one."
"True, the power caught our version of the master's interest and yet, stated to serve the other version of himself after encountering something to which, I have a feeling he couldn't handle for once," Kil'jaeden admitted before responding and making the Warlock of an Orc simply raise an eyebrow of intrigued but didn't say anything.
He then guided the Supreme Commander to the lone desk that was stolen, like most of the things within the mining encampment at night, around the globe to suit his needs, and pointed and was gesturing as to where they were, "We are in the land to what these mortal humans call: California, and the source of this power by My Eyes, is a mere child with untold and untapped power within, and if used right, we will be able to summon the full force of the legion to this world… At some point. And the last known sighting was within this area," here he pointed to where Hong Kong was, "But a draconian male demon has her held up tight within a powerful shield that will not go down until a few days after."
"So? Send some demons to merely wait and nab the child." Kil'jaeden states to get Gul'dan to sigh for a moment and shake his head in doubt, "If it was that easy, I would… During my months stay here I read the myths and legends of this world, despite making agreements with what other forces I mentioned before your arrival, Lord Kil'jaeden. The Freed Legion, that is. What you may have seen under the massive camouflaged shield I placed, is all that arrived beside whomever you brought, My Lord, to this planet. She is well guarded at times and thankfully, their magic cannot yet detect My Eyes at all, as we speak, she is with something that is linked to her by soul, as a soulmate of sorts, plus as to what I have gathered from spying on this… Chan Clan and Section 13, they too, hold many intriguing secrets."
Kil'jaeden then began to think about this before nodding as he responded to the Warlock then, "Then perhaps that is wise to wait. If she is powerful enough by your words, it is better to recruit her than sacrifice her to our cause."
Gul'dan smirked before showing images from what he gathered for months on end, and truly impressed Kil'jaeden and seeing the Beastial Forme the child attained to know what she was immediately, unlike the Warlock, and hides the urge to cower at seeing Ophis was part of this world as well as the last time he had seen that entity, it was an argued fight between his Master and the Entity itself… It took months to fix half of Argus and a few worlds from stolen resources.
"If you are somehow able to find a way to get that child under our ranks, do so and also test the power she holds by our influential purpose if it is possible." Kil'jaeden ordered the Warlock to see if he satisfied the old Orc before adding to his words from recalling the images of the mortals, and that racial demon, "If she can break from it, it is best we bring forth a powerful beast of our own to further test this worlds resilience and her untapped power…" After carefully looking at Faolan with narrowed eyes, "And to understand why they are meant for this world as well."
Kil'jaeden then left with Gul'dan glancing at the image he last saw and understood before dismissing them, and snapped his fingers as a few imps came into the room he made for himself and told them firmly, and using his dark magic to bring things forward, "We have work to do in short time… Find me the demonic blacksmith. It is time we have to forge for me… The Collar." The imps wordlessly gulped at that item before most hastily taking off to do so with whatever was left, stayed to aid the Warlock with his new plan.
Camelia sneezed a few times normally for once, as she woke up twenty minutes later knowing Jade was going to keep her fainting as blackmail shortly, from being in a training area and saw the fun Nazila shaped from Jade's orders, and was teaching her how to play some cards games.
"You ok, Amy? Normally you send out the flame-balls-of-chaos." Jade asked in concern and ignored Camelia hiding the urge to groan and confusing her maid, as that was what Jade called her flaming balls at times.
"I'm fine, but I oddly felt like someone was mentioning me or something." Camelia's worded response was as she placed down a four of an ace on top of five red hearts, as they were playing a random one to where they can make the most stack of cards in a red and black, or black and red order by drawing them.
Jade shrugged with them turning to a few servants and winced as one of them got punched and sent into a wall and made a dent, and the two girls shook their heads as Nazila didn't say anything but placed on her side, a six red of hearts onto her seven black of clovers.
"Well, at least they're durable servants," Jade stated after seeing the male servant shake his head before growling out and charging after the one who sent him to the wall, in speed.
Camelia wordlessly nodded before tinting as her stomach growled a bit loudly to get her to be the center of attention, and made Jade give her an amused look before to her ire at seeing her friend even won this made-up game just now, when she did, and told her matter-of-factly, "Again? You ate like what, a full tray of that shark sushi or two."
"I can't help it Jade-" Camelia began to speak before she blinked at seeing a random servant bring her not only more sushi, but random types of jerky as well before hastily leaving.
"It seems like they already know somehow," Jade tells Camelia from being secretly startled by her grabbing some of the jerky and sniffing one of the pieces, as Camelia did begin to devour the sushi and chew it as from what Jade tasted, it tasted like chicken, but sweeter. "But I gotta admit, this jerky is good. Even though we never had jerky before."
They didn't see the surprise Nazila had from Jade eating that one jerky before holding herself as they resumed the game for a few more minutes, and was then escorted from the training area for the servants, and to the massive and empty room where Shendu was waiting for them, with his arms behind his back as if he was expecting them at this point.
"You may tend to your duties until I or Princess Camelia calls for you, Nazila." Shendu firmly told the maid to which she hesitated yet bowed, and quickly took off from the room as the doors shut behind her.
It was tense silence before Shendu noticed Jade snacking on the jerky with a slight hidden raised brow, but said nothing as he spoke to Camelia, which she had a few pieces she easily devoured, left, "I see my servants are doing exactly well as they have done in the past… The food is to your liking, My Niece?" Camelia easily nodded as, unlike her friends and Jade, she could easily taste the spices and more in the rolls she was eating, and the duo heard a pleasing hum from Shendu before he responded then, to make them blink, "Then it is time for some minor lessons than with the Mortal Girl observing, as I sensed you are somehow… Married to each other already."
That got them both to drop their food, much to his understanding, as they both shouted out loud in an equal manner, "What?!" They did see the food vanish though by some Shadowkhan to clean up the mess.
"The rings are enchanted as I have been amused for most of the time, seeing you are not aware of your particular finger as an exact perfected copy is on yours, Jade Chan," Shendu informed them in purring amusement and sure enough, they did see an exact ring just like Camelia's on Jade's same hand and finger placement.
"I didn't expect that to happen," Jade tells herself, giving her friend a look, to which Camelia warily shrugged as she didn't expect Jade to try and risk this, but when she was eating the food provided, she was getting better and better.
Before Camelia could say anything, Shendu stopped the duo with a hand raised to make them quickly silence themselves as they knew he was powerful due to the twelve zodiac talismans within him, as he then channeled some unusual, dark-blue dense energy to which Camelia shivered for some reason over as it was the same energy, back then with them using the Sheep Talisman, and spread it into the ground to see the floor lit up with demonic runes, and went over to the far side of the eastern wall at seeing a massive, double-set door reveal itself with them being perplexed at seeing a war was going on of sorts that were etched on the doors themselves.
"That is my training room. We will train, Camelia, as your survival skills are… Lacking in terms, as Jade Chan can try, but she will take longer to develop the methods of my training within my version of the Room of Spirit and Time, or otherwise a room to where we won't age and can train as long as needed to."
Both girls thought that term of the room was familiar to them, but they soon reluctantly went into the room and blinked at seeing the area was vast and like an empty void, but saw closeby, a building that was a large set of feudal-like houses for rich folk back in the day, and the vast and mansion-sized building itself resembles the palace's stonework and structures.
"This place brings back memories as it was your mother that aided me in making this place, My Niece," Shendu tells them before admitting to making Camelia sharply turn her neck right to him in astonishment alongside Jade gaping at this bit of lost knowledge.
"My mom made this place?" Camelia soon quietly started to get the male dragon demon of fire to understand this, and simply nudged the two girls to the building, and once inside, he began to tell them small tales of her mother, which she paid rapt attention to, as the inside was comfier and inviting then the palace was, and more, for the next hour until he began to inform them of the room itself.
"This room can be summoned by the blood of my brethren and those concerning us, by any place or setting. The room itself isn't truly vast as it was meant to be seen in that way, unlike the true location that is within Central Asia itself. Your mother did train in the place before deciding, after permission from the one who lives at the structure for the real room, needed my and Tso Lan's aid to do it. It took only a few mortal hours to accomplish it the way we wanted it, as time is endless without aging within here, but it would only be a meager few mortal minutes once we leave…`` Here he slowly chuckled before telling them as the girls sat together on a large Chinese sofa with birds and dragons on it and him on a massive chair with his name, as the others were up to seven with their names, "She was much of a scholar and outgoing individual when my brethren and I grew as to what we eventually gained as demons. We used this place to train ourselves to the fullest before then using it as our escape room to be ourselves at times with letting our High Butlers or Maids handle our affairs until we return, as a lot did happen back then for complaints and others to those we once ruled, as the room was once handled past thirty minutes to an hour of our return… Until she tweaked it."
"So you guys weren't always ruthless?" Jade asked to which Shendu shrugged and made Jade and Camelia sweat drop together by his honest response as if it wasn't all that bad to him, "We were, but we also did what was best for our part of the world back then as yes, I was labeled as I was, but… It was your mother, My Niece, that kept us together in mind. Even though our methods were frowned upon, we made sure order was well placed as well."
Before Jade could remark on this, she looked to her friend as Camelia gave her a brief look of apology as it looked like Jade was going to ask Shendu something rude, and let it slide as Shendu looked to have been reflecting once again, if the brief dimming of his glowing eyes was an indication, "So what was my mama based on?"
"She was a Demon Sorcerer to not only both the Pure Aspects of Light and Darkness, but she was both the Balancer, and the Destroyer… In more mendable terms, the one who was a giver of life and death to her foes. She was the only one out of us all to handle a minor portion of our abilities and power unto her own and even ate a fully charged bolt from Tchang Zu one time when we were in mortal terms, ten or eleven years of age, as a dare to try and calm him down. And yes to your next question, it did work." Shendu told her as he paused from sensing her entire being and startled Jade as she gazed at Camelia as she didn't know this at all, "It seems a friend of ours, Faolan, was teaching you both on magic? It is to be expected as by rights while we are in the safety of this room: The Demon's Haven, you have inherited not only Lilithana's full title to grow up from, but more from whatever powers may be, forging your path ahead of you. As that is part of your inheritance, the other… Is to unlock your true potential and embrace yourself fully as to who you are, to finish it."
Shendu motioned to her marked arms with him starting with the one based on his talismans, "The left arm, is part of your inheritance as each one of my talismans before reuniting into me, giving you a blessed gift and a portion of their ability to use as well, and to which you must pass a test to truly use them. Twelve personal tests from the talismans being, truly, sentient when exposed from my being. Some as you have seen your body unlocked as to what you are meant to truly appear as."
Shendu then motioned to the other arm to make both girls blink back in shock as they did notice the unusual sigils on her arm with seeing one of them, holding Jade's full name in the top circle in kanji, as it was no longer black but in the color of, well, a full-on jade, which Faolan told them barely that it held names in each one, but not as to whom it was. "The right arm has the power to use any of those you are bonded to, their abilities and powers they too gain, but some you can truly use for yourself and others, merely borrowed. The person you made a deal with within the Realms of the Dark, knew this of course as the signature is strangely… Familiar in terms, but I cannot recall as to whom it belongs to."
"So that would mean that anything Jade knows, I will too?" Camelia asked while gazing at her friend before they turned to the male demon as he shook his head and corrected her by answering then, "Most, not all. It depends on your being and how your own body and power can handle things, especially fighting techniques and abilities that they will have as you may have to incorporate into your way for the rest if you are insistent on obtaining them."
Camelia's sigh was soon heard with Jade wincing after, of Shendu soon getting up and making the duo follow him to the void as he went a bit further before turning, and got into a stance while to astonish then as they didn't know he could do that, went to at least his height as his humanized self for the easier purpose of what he said next to his niece, "Now… Let's begin."
It felt like hours or even days to Camelia as Shendu did not let up, and with Jade wincing an hour after joining her friend of his training the duo, as he went all out without the intent to maim or kill.
Camelia was once again knocked down by Shendu with him soon easily grabbing Jade as she tried to high jump kick him, swirled her around a few times before making the Potter Girl let out a wheeze as Jade sheepishly gave her a wordless apology as she landed on her stomach.
"It will take time, but we have all the time within this place. Again," Shendu strictly told them as Jade helped Camelia up and continued with as a reminder of what they were taught by Jackie, mixed with Karate, Judo, TaeKwonDo, and Jeet Kun Do, but a mix of Kung Fu.
For Jade, she was learning both a mix of Monkey Kung Fu with Shaolin and for Camelia… She was a sponge of sorts. The Potter Child was learning a hybrid combination of not only what Jade learned, but a Dragon and Wing Chun Fusion that Shendu knew as his style, from Shendu bribing the Chan Girl with a mix of Camelia's puppy eye face.
In truth, the trio have been at it non-stop for at least four and a half hours with little breaks, and once Camelia blinked at finally managing a punch at her uncle, he stated with pleased orbs to be amused as they purposely fell onto their backs with panting deep breaths and a bit sweaty, "Enough… That is all for now."
Both girls glanced at each other with smiles on their faces to make the Demon Sorcerer of Fire smirk with an idea, and made them yelp as he purposely sent airwaves with his talisman powers of the Rabbit, Rooster, and the Dog for unlimited stamina to make a swirling windy vortex of himself, and into the home as the two girls were soon sitting on an old couch, and him simply stopping and standing there with his arms crossed.
"You have surprised me as to how long you can last, and absorb what your teachings are and expected to continue after learning them," Shendu began before dismissing the tinting faces as both Jade and Camelia's stomachs rumbled at the same time, and perked up to inwardly amuse him at their appetite, "But I believe it is time to regain yourselves and rest and eat to regain your lost energy used for your training."
With the trio eating more seafood and cooked meats that were kept well preserved on the timeless building and made Shendu blink at his niece with Jade blinking and inwardly, a chibi version of herself didn't think of doing that when she always uses the talismans, to make the male demon think for only a moment, "Is it possible to use the Rat and Dog to give something actual life?"
"Perhaps… I have only looked into my abilities to defend and attack to rule, Camelia." Shendu told her to only get her to nod before Jade sweatdropped and perplexed Shendu with a bit more intrigue then, "Then would it be possible to use the Pig and a few others to maybe make Fiery Fists?"
"Amy, can you stop with the Pokémon Move References? Your uncle is a demon, not a Pokémon." Jade states to make her tint before they both looked at the Demon Sorcerer in blasphemy as he states to them with a few comical blinks in being truly confused, for once, "Flattered that you are interested in ways I have yet to think of using my Talismans, but what do monsters have to do with them? As a move?"
It was then Shendu regretted it as the duo of nine-year-olds began, to the next ten or so minutes to try and explain a video game to him, as they were surprised at Christmas Day they each got opposite versions of the older games up to a current year, and up to their Sword and Shield Games their consoles owned alongside other games, to know one particular man with the aid of a few others wanted them to enjoy themselves at times.
Though as time goes by when they get older, they would be rather surprised by things, and leave it at that.
After eating alongside leaving the one place, and with Shendu seeing to it Nazila watched over Jade as she decided to nap as he does have some servants who were probably crossed he hosted a human not as a servant as well, from what he temporarily did to Valmont's group and himself, he was with his niece who was astounded by seeing he lead her to his study and the well-preserved manuscripts and books he has.
"You may browse and see what you perhaps want, while you are staying here, or better yet," here he confused the child as he brought out a blank scroll and placed it in her hands, with her eyes wide and tail secretly swishing rapidly back and forth like an excited puppy dog, by his continued words then, "You may use this scroll with the use of your being, as I sense a Seeking Grimoire of sorts will be intrigued by my offer, and later on an hour as I have to discuss things with my brethren, you may use your book to store what's not only in the scroll but to copy anything or everything here, and personally choose only seven out of many books I have within my study."
He felt awkward still by her strong hugs which he can withstand with ease and simply patted her back gently and being slightly relieved she didn't flinch at all from the contact, and left her with a few Shadowkhan who he knew, knew her servant, to watch over her as he did stop by to see his child and her half-sister were healing well before heading to a secluded place within his palace, and found a large enough communication mirror.
He knew he was in for it as it has been nine hundred years since he last did a call, but he wanted to prepare of sorts beforehand for his conquest as he was going to make it so that his niece can use the one device that can free them to do so, and even if it takes after he truly conquered Asia and China, as those were in his rights.
He did his calling spell and it was both of his two of seven brethren that answered, after a delay or an actual debate to do so: Bai Tza and Tso Lan.
Of course, they were not at all happy to see him, however, but did wonder what he wanted if their facial expressions of mixed anger and intrigue had anything to go by.
"Shendu… It has been overdue for contacting us in person," Bai Tza said in bitter anger to him, as Tso Lan nodded in wordless agreement with the Fire Demon Sorcerer himself responding curtly, "It has been nine hundred years since, to which the mortals are to blame for that, and the search for all twelve of my talismans."
"Well, it was your own doing you bound those trinkets as a part of yourself with my aid all those years ago, Brother, and still the consequences did return to mortal terms, to bite you in the behind." Tso Lan commented and then Bai Tza had a brief jaw drop alongside Shendu, seeing their sibling soon shrug as if it wasn't important.
"To honesty, it is true, Brother," Shendu agreed before making the duo narrow their eyes at him with his next set of business-like words, "But that is not the reason for my call."
"Then what is it then?" Bai Tza spat out to make Shendu understand she was still bitter at him, but knew his few older siblings were glancing at each other and back to him by one name, "Camelia."
"Let me guess, she's in your palace?" Tso Lan questions without biting into his words as Bai Tza was silent, but made the duo Demon Sorcerers blink by his response, "Indeed… Her and Her One, alongside my youngest besides Draco, and her apparent half-sibling."
"You managed to bond with another? Seems like most females on Earth are desperate to summon you as a lover," Bai Tza smirked and sarcastically tells him, and this made Shendu try to hide his inner rage at this but restrained himself, and responded to make the Water Demoness blink back in surprise by his narrowing words with hinted emotions in it, "Yes, her mother did summon me but I lost them from someone who I knew hated our relationship and murdered my created host body from admitting that I would be in their way, and my mind after simmering in stone, had that and many other things running until the foolish blonde mortal found me, just like his ancestor did in the olden west."
"I do recall that duration period of man, and with making you force that foolish mortal to make the call without being truly present," Tso Lan admitted getting Shendu to nod before making them blink at him then, "I do have plans after I recapture to what was once fully mine by rite, of having Camelia using the one trinket that can free you, My Brother and Sister."
"The Pan'ku Box? You think she will be able to use it due to her blood, Shendu?" Bai Tza tells him in doubt to make the Fire Demon Sorcerer raise a fringe at her as he gave her a small curt nod of a certain yes, "Her blood may be pure by having our demonic clan flowing in her veins, but she has others as well to which she would not get harmed by the enchanted object itself, as we all know that the item is more than it seems to what the fools have written down and used it as."
Both demons could awkwardly agree with Shendu at that, from recalling the sigils they saw from Camelia that one day and understood what Shendu admitted then to remind them of their lost sister, "She does love reading and a few others, and thankfully she is distracted to allow me to make this call, from within my study."
"Lilithana's offspring is rather inquisitive to what she likes," Tso Lan began to recall before making his sister and his brother on his side of things, sweatdropped as he rubbed his chin with his main left hand for his upper arms with half-amusement then, "But she has yet to notice her ongoing and growing beauty as time passes for her, and to that, I would blame the Mortal Seed-Donated Father, from researching from the books of who may have done so, but it cannot be undone, unfortunately."
"Be as it may to that, I wanted to perform The Call to inform you of my plans, and to see if you have any hinted words to if or when, after my vengeance, to approve of them?" Shendu stated as he then proceeds to tell the two his plans without seeing an ethereal-looking floating eyeball that was demonic, spying on them in the far corner and to when he was done, they were intrigued by the plan itself and with Tso Lan making Shendu sweatdrop to himself while ignoring Bai Tza's smirk, "You have centuries to plan this out with adding to it, haven't you, Brother?"
"More or less." Shendu admits before he fake-coughed into his maw as he resumed speaking, "But before the time comes, I would recommend that our final two siblings at least introduce themselves to the child, as she did ask about why they refused to even meet her."
"Should you tell our fiery brethren or should I?" Bai Tza asked Tso Lan to which Shendu was once suspicious as the Moon Demon Sorcerer let out a sigh and perplexed Shendu by what the demon male admitted to him, "Both have been busy with a few of us, dealing with unusual demons and… Non-based ways of handling them, from vortexes that we still cannot enter, appearing and sending these fiends to try and face not only us but gather resources to their ends. Especially the few others, like us, as you called both our sister and I after we have slain a vastly large demonic wyrm that was sent and felt… Darker, and ill intent as if it was forcibly made by farther things than our current knowledge, and the unusual iron armor it wore is questionable."
"I'm sure you can handle things with ease as, despite that realm being a prison, it boosts your strengths," Shendu admits regrettably to which he saw his two siblings nod once in wordless agreement, "Indeed, that is true," Tso Lan began to resume speaking before he told the Demon Sorcerer of Fire, "But we nearly had to exhaust ourselves at times with thanking the realm itself, for once, to provide means to replenish our reserves to when we need it for battle. We are close, however, to whomever that was sent into our prison-based world, to possibly end things."
"Indeed to that as well, Brother," Shendu states before he perked up before sighing to ignore the amusement they showed on their faces at his ired words, "It seems I may have to cut The Call short and see as to what may have occurred with those mortal buffoons. Remind me to tell you some tales of what outcomes Camelia's training by yours truly has performed at a faster pace than some of our brethren, My Brother, and Sister." In the end, he ended the spell and began to head to where the disturbance was.
Meanwhile, within a place in Scotland (Dartmoor, Wales, the north of England or Scotland), at this point and time:
A person sighed at their desk within the place oddly enough, resembling slightly a famed location: Alnwick Castle, to which fellow readers the place doesn't exist in this story, but the castle itself is a mystery all to its own.
The person who sat in his office for the place while thinking multiple tasks while doing paperwork was the one who placed Camelia in the first place at the Dursley's front door after her parent's murder, and is also a man with many titles by the name of Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore or simply the latter, as he was also frustrated after all this time as well.
The old man himself has done many things in the past, to which one was making plenty of deals of sorts to which he is no longer the man he was, but secretly darker than intended while keeping his chess-based comrades and more at work.
Even during the times, he faced a former Dark Lord named Gellert Grindelwald, he used said forces in a concealed location to defeat that very man, and time-sealed specific people that witnessed his actions to prevent things from being blabbed to the public, which unfortunately included his sister and Newt Scamander alongside his comrades, to which he had to also faked their deaths, and before the Potter's demise, placed the gem-changed individuals into a chest and the Potter Vault.
Entities of the darker varieties and more, especially some made with lost souls and others… The darkness within the hearts of men, as words, turned manifested into far danger-based foes and more.
Unknown to him, a misplacement occurred which won't be revealed until a particular child is fourteen, as two were placed with one of the gemstones for the child by a cloaked entity getting involved back then, and the one larger chest until she is either emancipated or as an adult in real terms.
Anyways, Dumbledore was flustered due to still not being able to try and track down the Potter Spawn herself and guessed someone equal to or more powerful than he was, was at work, especially when he needed the child to return to the Dursleys to be molded into an obedient weapon to eventually fulfill her purpose of dying in the proclaimed prophecy, and her vast fortune as the Last Sole Heiress of the Potters, to be within his and the Wizardry itself for further things as planned before he eventually went for what he planned ages ago; before he was forced to make a darker deal that would be his last one.
Plus he will need to make sure she at least breeds an heir for further control, due to politics and whatnot, so that is what love potions and fertility elixirs are made for, and contracts… Even though he lost the backup child from the suggestion of one of the Minister of Magic's random comments of course, and with using the one curse on his school's Potion Professor to make that solution alongside some other aid in the first place by an unusual group of people that wore black cloaks, and the one whom he made his sixth deal with to which, he found and gave the person the item in question that was held deep within the ministry.
Of course, he would have to play by his future pawn's interests, but if the few light-based males wouldn't work as consorts, then he would maybe use those particular potions on her for those of the same gender, with recalling his sister he sent away long ago by a spell, was in love with a woman too that soon joined her, and also faked her fiancée's death to the public of the former Dark Lord back then, being the cause.
The old man knew of some witches and wizards in the past using the potions (depending on gender) to have children with it being only temporary, but he disregarded the slight rare chances of effects if or based on the person itself, not known to him and those unaware due to him banning most knowledge of anything and everything that would possibly further magicals along in the forbidden section or in a secured vault as well, to challenge him and more.
He was also aware of the Dursleys enjoying their time without the brat, but that's what a good "Obliviate Spell" or a few could do as he has done so a few times whenever he was notified by his blood-dropped trinkets he kept on a shelf with proclaiming were items of his youth he kept as a memento, and saw some were moving or doing as intended after a glance, as the one old Jewish Ladle from the early 50s he modified was still spinning to at least know that she was alive.
Though he frowned with getting and gently sucking on a Lemon Drop at recalling the tricks he played on some former friends he was still interacting with, as it was for both his desires and the so-called "Greater Good" that he tends to preach, as making sure the child herself does die, is one such good. And such greater good was his darker deal he made, and also the knowledge of knowing there is more to this world than meets the eye, and possible back-ups in case he is truly found out as he does plan to retire, possibly, when the Potter Child is dead and live out his days in the peace of sorts… As in truth, he was no longer human.
He nearly choked on his candy yet handled himself as a shadowy vortex appeared and the same man from Camelia's Memories showed himself and appeared to be in a foul mood, and part of the same individuals he made that darker deal from, "What brings you here this time?"
"The child is more troublesome than we realize, Dumbledore," He began by checking around the room he knew the Headmaster was simply doing his given task to keep up his plans and also await for theirs, before glancing at the old man as he simply nodded, "Though she isn't at all prepared, she will be at least adequate to where she is to grow stronger and stronger until it is time."
Now this secretly made the Headmaster frown at him to make the armored male pause mid-step and stood still as he fake-admired the globe he has within the office of this castle, this school for witches and wizards, by Dumbledore's response, "She is to remain fragile and weak though to be of use to both of us, as I know I am also under your master's debt from my deal, but that doesn't mean she has to grow in her powers-" The old man tried to gasp then as the armored male held him in a choking hold you would see from Darth Vader, but was moments from having him in the air as the old man struggled to try and free himself, "I am aware, former mortal from a few years. I am also aware of making The Keying Sacrifice to have an offspring by forced means back then by forced potions and more, and many other things. I observed that by sending some of my loyal followers I was given by my own Lord and Master, to test her at times. She must grow so her entire being can be ready for the ultimate affairs to what has yet to come to pass within the last ten-thousand years, and again within another realm. The Child of Twilight Heart and Stars, must remain alive and well to further test her by his orders… Despite our shared dealings be damned for trying and failing to make her suffer, and to those, she is involved with at times… Either by mine or your pathetic testing as a pawn, is that clear?"
Dumbledore shakily nodded hastily before he was purposely dropped onto his backside as the man looked rather satisfied by using his power on him, and satisfying his mood of sorts as he firmly told the old man, as the foolish headmaster shakily got up and headed to his chair, "Good… So you know, even though she is to be tested in times, others have taken interest in the child as well, from forces either heard of or not in many years for this mudball of a world."
Dumbledore raised a wary eyebrow at that in wordless response, as he saw the armored man resummon that very vortex and paused mid-step with enjoying the old man jumping away from the desk as he turned his candy bowl into a large black widow spider which he quickly killed, and chuckled darkly as he left into it.
Once closed up, Dumbledore childishly stuck out his tongue before going into his drawer and getting more of his candy once again and began to think on things while grading the schoolwork provided by his schooling staff once again.
Few hours later and getting closer to night time, within Shendu's Palace:
Camelia yawned while reading a preserved yet older and understandable book that she realized mere moments ago, went well with the other book her Uncle Shendu gave her and did glance to see both Jade and her maid, Nazila, were playing against each other, again.
Camelia simply grabbed seven books that looked interesting to her, in honesty, and didn't bother to check what they were until they saw the first book was about particular things with not only adding the "Cores" she has been adding from the figments of the creatures, and planned to see what the other books are as well from her deciding to place a Fire Energy Pokémon Card as a bookmark, from one of her Christmas gifts being a few packs of Pokémon Cards from the Main Base Set to which she pulled all three starters and an extra Charizard she gave to Jade, and eventually began to think about today's events with her hiding a small smile at Jade playfully scowling at her maid showing a winning hand for poker.
Camelia was still stunned her birth mother, Lily, was truly a Demoness and whom Ophis was as one of few true parents, and knew for a fact she wasn't truly humane at all but was thankful for things, especially being with Jade and her family, and the others.
She was also glad Shendu fixed her voice at least with her not noticing that she caught Jade and Nazila's attention as she unknowingly hummed to herself a song she knew to herself with her laying on the bed and pillows she was informed was her former mother's room until she was taken all those years ago, blinked and glanced at the duo.
"What was that?" She asked them as Jade stated her question again, "What song were you humming to as I don't think I heard it before?"
"Oh that? It's from the former unusual CDs from my one gift back home in Sector 13 from the gifts we got… I think it's not from this time though," Camelia confessed as indeed, one of her many gifts that came from Jackie were several adjusting CDs that turned into an unusual metallic orb that kept the thousands of songs from past to future, within it, from her accidental sneezes.
Seeing Nazila's perplexed look, Jade beamed at Camelia as she asked again with excitement to which the Potter Child herself got up, and looked into her bag, "Did you bring it with ya?"
It seems she did as the ball itself was similar to a particular bronze map-like ball from the Disney Movie: Treasure Planet, but it had more than that as a portable radio of sorts, as it did glow in random color settings for keeping up with the beat for any music, and can float if she set it to that as in terms of how useful of selection… Think of Alexa from the Amazon Devices, but can only look into songs it has stored.
"Any requests?" Camelia asked as she easily and gently tossed the item up and down with her left hand a few times to which they did listen to music for a bit, and even caught Shendu's attention on some of the unusual music and immediately knew who gave her that but didn't say anything, as he finally came into the room after the song, Centuries from Fall Out Boy, finished.
"It is time you two rest as it is getting late," he states hiding his amusement as Jade groaned when his niece turned off the device and stored it away with the use of her tail back into her bag, and indeed looked tired unlike Jade was, from the Chan Clan Girl's nap earlier, as Nazila understood with a tint to her face as she bowed hastily and went to the kitchens to possibly make her Lord's sushi he likes.
"Do we have to, Uncle Shendu?" Camelia asked knowing she was tired but wanted to read from that one book more, but sighed as he told mainly her, and with him crossing his arms to wordlessly state, there were no options, "Yes, as there will be more to do, tomorrow. Besides… You are still young and need as much rest as possible, despite your age."
After the two decided to wait for a bit when Shendu made sure they were sound asleep and went to his chambers while also checking Valmont and his thugs, Jade eventually saw Camelia was using the "Lumos Spell" she learned from having it float around as a golf ball sized orb to read the book some more, as she was on the chapter on portals and gateways.
"You such a nerd, ya know that?" Jade commented in a way she was joking to only receive a deadpanned look from her friend, before she playfully stuck out her tongue with finishing the chapter about what she was reading, and looked intrigued about gemstones she decided to wait for maybe tomorrow, and made Jade try to hide a blush by her cheeky words and knew she was rubbing off on her, "I'm your only friend that's a particular nerd at times, Jade… Besides, it takes one to know one, especially since you have been trying to get a shiny version of Giratina from the Giganti-Max Raids."
"You're one to talk, as you're trying to do the same with trying to get all the dragons and legends along with Darkrai in your version of Pokémon Diamond," Jade responded to make Camelia only roll her eyes as she placed her book on the closeby stand before perking Jade up by her unexpected idea, with seeing Jade grinning in wordless agreement, "Maybe we should go back to Uncle Shendu's Vault and see what I can give you, as he did say the treasure was all mine now."
Jade then frowned with Camelia beginning to think to herself as she stated to her in a way, they both knew it would be difficult, "But how can we get past the dragon servants as you know they could probably sniff us out?"
Seeing her looking to have an idea, it was later on that Jade and Camelia were able to sneak past the patrol within Shendu's palace hallways from not only her managing to successfully try an invisibility spell on them both, by sheer luck, but made it from her bag, to make them smell like roses based within the garden that was secretly preserved within his palace to fool the dragon servant's noses.
Both girls knew there were more things within the treasure horde within Shendu's Vault, and Camelia couldn't shake the feeling of her needing a better search of sorts.
Once they manage to get inside with little noise from opening the door itself, Camelia did the one spell so the duo could see, and blinked at each other at not knowing where to start.
Jade suggested maybe going to the left path closer to them, to which Camelia agreed quietly as they soon were intrigued by seeing some vintage objects and whatnot, and to perplex them they saw a few rows of large metallic boxes to which were written in ancient kanji all around and on the doors that made Jade groan inwardly from ignoring the lessons, and which the Chan Girl was glad Camelia began reading it to herself from being more to her Great-Uncle's lessons then she, to when it came time for books.
Seeing her friends' surprised look as she quickly headed to what she counted and read what they were, closer to at least thirty or more time-placed jail cells, came back to the impatient Jade Chan yet made her blink as she warily glanced at the closest one to them, "Jade… Somehow, these are holding cells with each stating a particular date of sorts of ownership to Uncle Shendu-" Camelia barely touched the cell before she hid a yelp of being startled like Jade was, as a portion of her magic was sent into the obsidian-like metal itself and soon spread to all the others with her blinking at seeing that, after checking, held her name as the new owner instead of him.
"Anyways…" Camelia shakily began before shaking her head and resumed as Jade guessed it was safe as she leaned on the same cell that was labeled, Number 12, "These cells by what it states, hold something or someone inside that he managed to either be given to or defeated upon their arrival when he still ruled, but they also had only their birthdates to confuse me over and more."
"What do you mean, Amy?" Jade asked as she went over to see Camelia was trying to point things out by touching specific parts, "What I mean Jade, is that when I glanced at some of them again that this one was somewhat closer to their birthday… But most of them have multiple ones to know there is more than maybe one person inside each one, especially since this one states it's from March 15 of 2173 to August 8 of 2179, a few others that are even closer to our yearly time, and some in the past yearly time."
Jade did blink at this as she was rather curious before making Camelia blink twice at her friend, from seeing her smirk with an idea, "I don't guess you can open this one then?"
After a few minutes of looking into it, Camelia blinked at seeing there was a turn-table lock and shushed Jade to which she ignored her friend's wordless huff at her as she watched the Potter Girl work her magic at solving a new puzzle.
Jade did have to admit her friend was good at solving any type of puzzle but at times, knew she wanted to work on things alone if she was able to as Camelia admitted to her she liked the challenge to do that until she gets stumped, and asks for her advice or help, even homework.
Jade was amused though when she kept seeing her friend stick out her tongue as she kept turning the puzzle-based circular lock to try and form an image.
After several tries, the two girls heard a slight click sound and moved a few steps back from being startled with them equally holding their hearts, and Deathwing ignoring the mental-like glare from Camelia at his amused chuckles as the door dissolved into itself and with the girls easily seeing the room was filled with some type of mist before blinking inside at seeing there was some type of human-sized pods up to at least six of sorts, to which the first one they wiped showed a girl around their age inside of it.
She resembled closely to a younger version of Carrie Henn when she was nine, instead of her original age of twelve. They also saw she wore mainly a plain yet fancy hospital robe over her body and a deceased tag on her wrist stating she was called, Rebecca "Newt" Jorden, and matched with the one date that Camelia told Jade. She also had an unusual tribal-like marking that looks closer to a light pink birthmark of a spiraling phoenix, with the image of the bird being on top of her main left hand, and the tail itself is the spiral. Her blonde hair reached her shoulders a bit with some of her hair on her right side having silvery hues naturally and saw that her eyes were crystal-blue and seemed to be frozen, like her face in shock.
"Why would she look like that though?" Jade asked with a wary gulp, seeing the others in this unusual box were possibly other preserved people as well, from what they both quickly guessed.
"Maybe she was like that when Uncle Shendu acquired them all?" Camelia tells her friend to make Jade suspicious why she stated that with Jade reluctantly leaning close to the pod with the Potter Child noticing the side of it, "But why would he have them locked up like this? I mean, I understand he's a Demon Sorcerer, but their people." Jade pointed out to make the Chan Girl move over to Camelia as she accidentally unlocked the pod.
They both saw it immediately heat up within before seeing the inside was immediately thawed, and once opened, they both caught the girl who appeared to be sleeping within moments with her eyes shut, gently.
"At least she seems ok," Jade decided to mention to only get Camelia to nod once before they both froze and glanced at the pod in the far end as it seemed to have deactivated and both girls had a bad feeling before they saw a mass of darkness burst forth and simply flew past them and out of the palace, and past the startled on-duty agents at the campsite and to places unknown.
"Maybe we should take her and go?" Camelia suggested as they struggled but managed to carry her without seeing the rest of the pods where the girl was placed, began to deactivate, especially since in one a tail of sorts wiggled that resembled a monkey.
In another part of the world, the very darkness that escaped Shendu's palace arrived at last at a long forgotten location within Madagascar and entered to reveal more of the similarities of those large metallic boxes, and opened the first one to see more pods, but several of them.
It then began once that was opened, to go deeper and deeper into the area before it found the remains of a downed warrior with a sinister-looking blade with a closed crimson eye, that revealed itself by the weapon sharply gazing at the mass of darkness before it flew past with giving the warrior another chance of life, and finally managed to find the sealed door… But it let out an unnatural and irritating growl from seeing it was sealed up by seven key seals, but saw four of them easily spread by remains of fallen guardians and placed at least those in the slots and hissed out a dark laugh by absorbing the raw energy it seemed out as the darkness soon shifted, and became an entity.
It was easily eight feet tall with the appearance of a muscular male, and it was fully wrapped into a darkness-made cloak that soon held the runes based on the four of seven keys on the right sleeve.
When the hood lowered, it revealed it was indeed a man but with dark-silvery hair and with demonic amber eyes alongside sharp-like sickle markings on his cheek, and a pitch-black crown while having truly pale skin, and handsome features similar to a perfect blend of a one-winged angel, and a leader to thirteen.
"It seems time has eroded from my forced imprisonment from that foolish demon, but I can be patient as well… But I must find the last five tomb keys to regain my true power, and my true self, as besides him… They were involved as well." The man states with his eyes glowing harshly at recalling things, before peeking up at sensing those lives he agreed to seal away were now awake, from the one planet of another realm before its destruction with a price of their cursed true form by the tails, removed and furthered his power that was sealed away, sent them by a mere wave and few tiring pants to a location as they were not his problem anymore, and stated logically from gazing at the clawed yet black gauntlet gloved hand, "It seems that I need to recover from my imprisonment further if I am this drained from not using it for eons."
The man paused before he felt a shift, and glanced behind him with pleased orbs, stated to the new arrival, "Ah… It has been long, hasn't it?" The light revealed it was the same entity that Camelia, Jade and Jackie encountered in Brazil, "It has." Was all the entity stated to his fellow comrade.
"So, how many years has passed since we were all sealed away from our true goal of The Master for this pathetic world?" The man asked him with a shrug, "Many years, and times have changed for both worse and best, Leader Sullivan Demolos." The entity began by revealing the man's name, "I know one of our Knightley comrades managed to do things a few mortal years back as a specific child… Is reborned."
The man, Sullivan, was intrigued at learning this and smirked at knowing that their plans are still on if the child was reborn again, "So she is your aid to escaping what the Mayans back then sealed you away from?"
"Correct and more," the entity told him mysteriously to make Sullivan understood as he asked the entity then to make it think, "So, should we nab her now or wait for the right opportunity to use her?"
"Wait and see, and test her from time to time, as after all… I have been patient for sometime and so have you until recently, as we need everyone freed in order to free The Master at all." The entity told Sullivan as he nodded in mute agreement with looking at his armor and back at the door, with the entity agreeing as well, "But that door is one of seven blocked gates and I need to find the others and the keys to them to slowly chip it away to get the Lost Key from within… But by the sins, I am nearly close to unlocking it to see what is needed next."
"That's all the rest of the Shadow Warriors could ask for, otherwise we would not have been careless all those years ago and sealed away in different areas to try and search what could further aid us in this." The entity tells him in agreement with recalling many things, and Sullivan's eyes gleamed dangerously in recalling the past events, "And those few traitors as well. Caring about the lives of the many and not to the goals that would further change this very world for the greater reason of things."
"I would agree, but they still held their sigils that will be needed when the time comes, as I was thankful those relics of mortals did not happen to take that from me before my sealing," the entity tells Sullivan who agreed to that.
The entity, if it could, stretched within its current form and expressed as Sullivan only gave a nod of understanding, "I best see if there is suitable battle armor for me to take over, as after all… The Dark Armor Warrior must have a perfect armored body to suit the desired need." The entity then left with Sullivan closing his eyes before sharply opening them with a cruel grin on his face at foreseeing where the next few sigils needed were, and vanishing from the area.
Back with both Jade and Camelia, they managed to get away with bringing the girl with them into what Camelia recalled when entering, her mother's personal chambers, and placed her on a few pillows she sneezed into existence that was enough to support Rebecca.
They stilled as they chamber lit up to see Shendu was waiting for them, in his mortal appearance to surprise Jade and not Camelia, as he didn't appear amused yet was also mixed with being irked and intrigued from glancing at the blonde and back to the two girls.
He crossed his arms in the chair with an expectant raised eyebrow at the wary girls as Camelia stuttered out, "I-I can expl-explain?" Though her words were nervous, what Shendu could detect was guilt and more in them.
"Need I remind you two, that it was time to rest and not to go off exploring?" Shendu tells them to make Jade wince as he gazed mainly at her as if she was the reason they left the room, but blinked at him in surprise as he held the bridge of his nose when he sighed and stated to them both, "But alas, you two are young and foolish at this point of age, and managed to at least do something I tried for ten days and gave up on before I was betrayed: Opening one of the Sealed Portable Chambers."
"The what?" Jade states to the male demon in being stumped as he saw both girls were equally confused to get him to let out an irritation of a sigh, and saw a few servants summoned by him wordlessly as he ordered in a whisper out of reluctance, and was gone with her with him beginning to try and explain, "I was given those as a bargained gift by an entity who agreed to visit this world from time to time, alongside one other that I have a feeling that you, Jade Chan, may have met as I smell his aura barely all around your flesh," at that Jade blinked and nearly facepalmed at herself yet kept it at bay as he continues and made the girls without his notice, glanced at each other warily as where the vault was… All of the containers were unlocked thanks to the Potter Child's blood spreading from the binding contract she unknowingly made, and sent all the sealed individuals into the world, which… She would know as each one has a seal secretly engraved on their left palms, but that is another time to tell. "They each hold individuals throughout time and space, of lives nearly to death or worse… If you freed that semi-mortal child, then you have freed them all without realizing it."
"So they're roaming around then?" Jade questions before Camelia could as seeing he was still irritated, gave a firm nod to Jade, "Yes… Much to my curiosity and mixed displeasure of this outcome, but I sense that things will be interesting knowing how the Ancient One aided the entity to do this, and the outcomes of this and the power you sent way back, My Niece." Here he gave a pointed look to make Camelia sigh in a hesitant agreement.
Camelia sighed again before she saw Jade was rubbing her eyes as not known to them, later on, it was a secret that they have yet to know as her pupils shivered before settling as she then made Shendu look upward for a moment in thought, "So there is more to your treasure room then we thought?"
"Perhaps, but be as a reminder, Youngling, is that you own my treasure vault and in terms, a co-heiress of my palace from what my younger half and I agreed years ago, before things occurred to her and to my brethren," Shendu tells them to make the two girls jaw drop a bit at that and electing a small raspy chuckle from Shendu.
They sharply turned to a panting random servant who entered without knocking as he gasped in air, and told him hastily to make the two girls blink in surprise at, "My Lord Shendu! Both children are awake and your presence is requested!"
"Bed, both of you… I will deal a small punishment for getting out of bed tomorrow morning," he tells them as both Camelia and Jade hid the urge to wince as Shendu hastily followed his male servant to what the duo knew was his younger child and her half-sister.
The next day in the early morning, both Jade and Camelia got around and were lead by Nazila to the vast Dining Hall and they only stopped from a moment for gazing at both Zala Rushamoore and Zelinda Daemon, in a brief cautious stare down of sorts before they seated themselves, and Nazila left to aid with breakfast.
It was awkward silence with the two girls waving a wordless 'Hello' to Zala from their spots at the long antique carved and large Chinese table designed as a dragon, before Zelindra gently stopped her sister and made her hide the urge to cutely puff out her cheeks, as they waited for their food or even Shendu to show up.
Ignoring Jade's look at her, Camelia ignored the blank look from Zelindra at her place at the table as she asked in a way, to start things off, "So… It seems you're my cousin. How are you?"
Zelindra it seems took time to digest Camelia's words before blinking twice, alongside her gapping sister at her before stating in a voice similar to Moneca Stori (aka, Kagome Higurashi Voice Actress), in a stated question, "We're cousins?"
Camelia nodded once with a small smile to show she wasn't a threat to them, and Jade saw this with her gazing at Zelindra who looked calmer and partially relieved, and gave a small smile back before sharply giving her sister a disapproving stare as Jade held back the urge to chuckle, as she sounded like Erica Mendez (English Voice Actress to Megumin from Konosuba, but a bit younger), "So would that mean you get to go to slumber parties or even maybe some explosions with some games? Like exploding snap?"
"Zala, what did I tell you about that game?" Zelindra tells her half-sibling to make her pout with crossed arms, and responded to her big sister with making both Jade and Camelia wondering what that game was, "That I should stop mentioning it due to how young I am, and not old enough, just like you, to play it."
"Good," Zelindra tells her as Zala looks away as she turns back to Camelia with her asking then, since her tail was hitting her head without her realizing it, from her pointing it out, "So are you a full demon or closer to a half, like me?"
Before Camelia could respond, they all turned as Shendu answered his youngest child then with warmth from his eyes, "She is special, but is fully kin to us, My Hatchling." He then turned to them and they wilted at thinking he forgot about last night, "And may I remind you two of what I stated?"
They didn't expect his punishment, later on, to be at the vault once again for Camelia as Jade was forced to his library and sort books, to give a gift to her cousin, which Zelindra was with her as Zala was with Shendu, and not knowing he was questioning her about things.
She was told as punishment, she was to use her power or magic to sort the vault out and if something called out to Zelindra, it would be claimed as hers.
Camelia didn't understand what he meant by called out, though, but she was at this for sometime and looking wary and nearly exhausted as to Zelindra, she was impressed with also being sympathetic of how much of her newly discovered cousin's power she was using for the last few hours, and nearly sorted all the treasure.
Like Camelia, both Zelindra and her baby half-sister was born into the magical society that was associated with the supernatural and with electronics and more, but was still hiding the hidden burden and pain of knowing her home city that was part of it, was taken by those dark-cloaked people with the unusual masks, after knowing the mayor refused to obey their demands and nearly killed everyone who defied them.
"I think you should take a small break, Amy," Zelindra tells her cousin with seeing how Camelia's body shook with her stubbornness as she wordlessly shook her head a wordless no, before nearly tripping herself at using her magic like she was instructed by a servant, to send the starlight diamonds into a bronze chest as Zelindra caught her.
Both girls talked for a bit and got along in moments with each other, and agreed to call each other by their nickname, and their names in seriousness.
Camelia took in a slight deep breath, and made Zelindra softly amused by her tired answer as they gazed at the sorted vast chamber of a room, "And… Done." Zelindra then noted as she easily lifted her cousin up and made her stand onto her feet with Camelia soon tinted with crossed arms after, "You know, you could have been using the automatic storage spell that would only take a fraction, and speed things along?"
"I'm still learning along with Jade, Zel," Camelia told her cousin as she nodded before blinking at touching a sword, and Camelia tilted her head at being mystified as once Zelindra placed it down and walked a few steps away, it vanished and appeared back into her right hand as if it refused to part with her.
"I guess… That's yours," Camelia panted out to get Zelindra to drop the blade, which oddly floated behind her as she caught her cousin in which she was sheepish before blinking at seeing like Shendu's child, blinking equally at the blade before a sheath appeared and placed itself on her back in eased reaching distance.
Without warning, the area shook for a moment to trip the two girls on their behinds before they got up, and saw servants here and there running around the palace as if something unexpected happened.
Camelia nearly tripped over herself again by a random servant tripping her with her stating to her cousin, with Zelindra narrowing her eyes as she felt a familiar energy, "Something is going on."
An unexpected explosion occurred that shook the palace with Shendu, shockingly, moved them out of the way as some of the ceiling fell into the ground and he checked them both over, and stated in glowing eyes of relief, "You both are alright! Thank the seven sins for that." As he picked the two easily up as he was in his demonic form, Zelindra warily asked with the sounds of fighting were occuring outside the palace, "Papa, what's going on?"
As he was making sure to avoid falling rubble from the two girls being stunned and making Camelia stiffen on Shendu's left shoulder at the fel-colored boulders covered in tainted magic, he quickly explained to the two girls as they heard draconic roars of dragons fighting unknown creatures, "The foolish mortal, Valmont, held a scroll that summoned corrupt creatures onto my grounds and land. With the fool thinking it will cause him to flee with the vast treasures."
Zelindra gazed at Camelia in concern as she shivered from being in stricken fear of the color of the glowing rocks, as the Demon Sorcerer of Fire carried the two to what could only be described as his chambers with seeing both Jade and Zala was on his bed, and placed the two on it as well as he firmly told the four, "Stay put and out of the way, while I handle these invaders." And he left them by shutting the doors.
"Amy! Snap out of it!" Jade stated after lightly slapping Camelia's face to cause her to shake her head and gave her a stunned look, and also holding her left cheek in a slight small wince as Jade gave her an apologetic brief glance before they turned to Zelindra, after she checked over Zala, and asking her firmly with the two girls besides Camelia, glancing briefly at the sword for later, "So what has occurred besides the man who caused the attack?"
"So get this," Jade began to explain the best she could with motioning things as well, "I was with Shendu in the office to finish my punishment before there was a rumble, and we find and see Valmont and his goons had their backs to the wall with a weird and twisted vortex materializing from a scroll…" Here Zala stopped Jade and continued for her, "She means the As- The buthead summoned unusual demons to enter Papa's House," Zala corrected herself from seeing her big sister's glance, and disapproving look, mixed, as she knew her sister was about to swear.
"What kind of demons… Exactly?" Camelia said in a way Jade gave her a concerned look for with Zelindra responding to her for a moment, "She overdid herself with sorting her treasure."
Jade nodded yet before she could respond, the four froze as they heard slamming on Shendu's large doors with Zala stating to them all warily with a light gulp, and was grateful of her big sister hugging her for a few moments, "Maybe it's Shendu?"
Camelia held a dreadful feeling in her gut as she shook her head and they all began to look for a place to hide from what could be some of the invaders, "No, hide!"
Once they hide together behind a decently sized and large enough gap they could only fit into, they hold their breaths from seeing the doors blast open with them being fully armored demons with glowing-misty green eyes, and with them talking in a dark tongue of sorts before going away.
Once they were out of their hiding spot, they glanced at each other in being unsure as to what to do, as outside the palace and fighting, Section 13, Jackie, and Uncle were battling demons that actually become ash, thanks to Uncle coating a modified version of what Jackie has to do to Shendu with the old Chi-Wizard stating this was a slight exception of his justification of magic versus magic, due to the demons being darker entities then intended.
Jackie was with Uncle as he was using his magical weapon and sending positive chi-beams at incoming demonic hounds of sorts and sharply turned as a giant demon fell backwards with the intent to ending them, by a golden and silvery beam that showed a familiar person in which Uncle and Jackie shouted together in disbelief, "Aeroza?!" The two turned to each other as they stated together again in stated questions, "You know him?! How do you know him?!"
"Easy to the both of you, as things can be explained, but some things must occur as well," he tells the two with seeing everyone fighting the demons, shook his hand as a slight mist escaped from the glove of his left hand, and turned to Uncle with him gazing at the invaded palace, "We must act quickly, as Shendu's plan has failed, but one others is nearly succeeded."
"Ah-Yah! Demon Plans can not fail!" Uncle shouts at him before making both Chan Clan members blink as Aeroza two-fingered Uncle's forehead gently and corrected him, "Sometimes books tend to lie about the supernatural, old friend. Shendu was going to fail originally by your clan's hands from my previous vision, but things shifted unexpectedly from the involvement of other forces in recent events, which are slowly on the move as we speak. Not to involve themselves as of yet, but just enough to start interfering with destiny unfolded."
They all gazed at the palace as another louder explosion occurred to which they turned to Aeroza as he began some movements and created a vortex that showed a clear outline of the courtyard and told the two firmly, "Go! Camelia, Jade, and the others need your help as I fear for their safety. I will stay and help Black and his fellow men."
Once the two left, Aeroza stilled before turning with an unimpressed look at a demon that was heavily armored, but was five times the size of the man as it roared at him, before summoning a weapon that with a quick slice, the demon grunted and became golden dust he sucked into a small black jar, and aided the others.
With Camelia and the three girls, the four were trying to run from bengal tiger-sized lizard demon hounds that Zelindra warned them they were seeker-based, and in a cartoonish way related to Scooby-Doo, went into many doors in different paths and randomness before they were soon confronted by more demons… Only for a few dragons to send them packing and fighting those hounds as the four girls managed to make it to the courtyard, and with Jade glad she placed her and Camelia's bags back as bracelets on her wrist, before they were blown off their feet and landed separately from each other as in odd coincidence, Jade landed on top of Camelia with kissing her again without meaning too, and both Zelindra and Zala, landed on top of both Uncle and Jackie's backs.
Camelia felt her eyes burn at times without realizing it, as Jade saw the eyes shift into an unusual way, as they became completely filled with an ice-like design of her former emerald eye color with her iris being pure silvery-white, and her pupils shifted to a fancy crossed shape, and not known to the Chan Girl herself, her own eyes shifted to a more snake-like appearance of her eyes with a slight crimson hue within her irises, but her sclera was completely black as the night.
Before they could comment about their eyes, they dodged an unexpected large ax from a tall guard of sorts, and Camellia was soon grabbed by armored hands alongside the others, and were forcibly held into place.
Jade grew worried as they did, from Camellia being punched in the gut by the same demon before the six as they were held down, saw a hellish-green vortex formed closeby them and an unusual person came out to which, it was Gul'dan alongside several imps with one holding an old looking box.
Jade stilled at seeing the one staff he was using and inwardly thought in fearful worry, It's that stick… Did whatever I see is about to happen for real? No way!
Gul'dan calmly walked to the four girls and after looking at both Jade and Camelia, and then both Zala and Zelindra, he ignored the looks both Uncle and Jackie emitted at the old Orc as he wasn't perturbed by two guards showing up from the vortex and with that, Kil'jaeden, came through to make Uncle sweat as he felt the demonic force between the two. One that was given to the Orc, and the other flowing through the newcomer.
"Gul'dan… Which child is it?" Kil'jaeden firmly stated to him as the old Orc was running his fingers through his beard tuff and the two ignored the sounds of Shendu roaring and fighting, alongside the servants of the palace as he went over to the Imp with Jade trying to not gulp at her being the one to see a familiar collar in it as he grabbed to what appeared to be a clear gemstone in the shape of a clear-cutted pentagram star, and told the Demon Lord gruffly, as Kil'jaeden crossed his arms in waiting, "We shall see, as this gem will glow in gold in detecting whom we seek."
Jackie and Uncle glanced at each other and at the girls to know what the duo meant, as Gul'dan walked with using his weapon-stick and with it clanging on each one of the skulls, as he passed by Zala and grunted as it didn't light up, and Jade and the girls glanced at Camelia.
Jade soon quickly came up with an idea as he passed by Zelindra with dissatisfaction and was soon approaching her, and startled him as she managed to get free with a burst of strength, and impressed Kil'jaeden by kicking the item and it shattered several feet away with a dark mist escaping.
She yelped with Camelia struggling in place by the large demon firmly holding her easily down as Gul'dan roughly grabbed the scruff of Jade's shirt, and snarled at her to make her gulp and they saw Kil'jaeden only nod in agreement then, "We will take these two then, My Lord, and hopefully we discover which is the child."
Gul'dan sharply looked at a random imp who gestured to the others as he didn't looked phased as he tossed Camelia to a guard, and told them clearly with the intent for the others to listen, "Despite destroying the plans of that one Demon, we leave those fools to settle our own goals… Take them through, and test their merit as one of them will be of use."
With the guards taking the struggling forms of Jade and Camelia, Gul'dan smirked by the unexpected idea, and the wary expressions of Jackie and the others as the old warlock tapped his staff two times to open a darker looking version of the vortex, "Let them be tested as well, as I heard this… Mortal is impressed in feats beyond impossibility."
Once he left with the Eredar Lord following with a smirk at them, the guards shoved the four down and fled the area and with Uncle giving his famous yell as a fiery blast almost had them if Jackie didn't shove him and the two girls, as it got some stray imps instead, and Jackie gulped at the looming figure that came out with him stating, "Bad day."
Meanwhile with Jade and Camelia, they were struggling in the hold of the guards who ignored their hitting and even trying to bite their hardened skin with the two feeling unwell the longer they traveled into this darkened tunnel of green flames, which they all had a barrier around them as well.
"Master, these fledglings are irritating… Can we please do something about their gnawing habits?" One guard told Gul'dan as he glanced behind him from his walking as he huffed before waving his hand to halt them, which he did and froze the girls as he walked calmly with the aid of his staff to them with briefly seeing Kil'jaeden telling the rest of the forces within to continue onwards, as they planned to assault a unknown city for new base of operations, and roughly grabbed Jade's face.
Gul'dan smirked at hearing Camelia lowly growl at him as he responded to make Jade fearful of him and the smirking guard, by his orders, "If they do struggle more… Feel free to at least sooth your anger out on this one, as I have a sensing feeling that the other is just as powerful or possibly the source we need." He then purposely punched Jade in the face to smirk as Jade whimpered in pain alongside hearing and fully seeing Camelia's eyes glow golden for a few moments, and even green before they faded, in protective anger, at this.
"Indeed the one we want-" he began to clarify to himself before he paused and they soon felt a trembling presence and feeling within the vortex of sorts to make him facepalm with hearing some shrieking behind them and saw the backing wave of raw energy coming and casted a shielding barrier in moments to make a shielding bubble as they were sent off course, and growled at the incompetent demons as the two girls were sucked into one of her few unseen vortexes and jumped into it along with two others as it closed up, from dropping the bomb.
So that is the end of Part One of how many, not certain. But wanted to post what I have for the 1st part to get it out of the way while I resume working on this, and my other stories.
I am working on or trying to get them done at a specific date, but not sure when, but from a specific movie: Patient's Is Virtue.
I will indeed be going back over this story to correct things, hopefully the last time, and hope you all enjoyed what I have so far.
So if it is long, sorry, but it is in Parts for a reason, to those that do read or even favorite me on the Site.
Until the next one, peace!
