Chapter summary: In which the turtles have a great grandfather or at least that's what they tell Baxter.

He was confused.

Because he was older.

He had scars on his body he felt taller, he felt stronger he felt confused.

"What happened?"

Mikey looked around and his eyes widened as he saw a destroyed New York.

"Where am I?"

This wasn't right. This wasn't possible.

He was not back here again. He was in the past he has been in the past will he supposed his current where his brothers were alive heck even his father was alive. Baxter was good. How did that happen again?

Hun was dead.

The Purple Dragons were on his side and Xever was on his side. All of Shredder henchmen were with him and now he was here. Back in the future, back where New York was destroy and anyone else still alive were on the run and in hiding from the Foot.

This shouldn't be possible.

He groaned and rubbed his head.

He looked at his hands, they were bigger. He was bigger.

"I didn't dream it. It was real. All of it was real. I even told them the truth."

Then why was he here?

"Mum?"

He wonders.

If anyone has any idea on what was happening his mother would know, but yet there was no answer from his mother. Which he found odd because ever since he found himself in the past she always answered him. She was just a story to him the first time around, just someone who was there that Mikey never really got to know, but the second time around her spirit was felt around everyone, but the connection between her and Mikey was the strongest. And, now she wasn't answering at all.

He wanted to sob because he didn't want to be back here.

He couldn't be back here. Anything was better than being back here.

"Shh, Mikey it's okay."

Donnie?

Great, he was back in his own timeline somehow and hearing voices.

But then he remembered the fight with Chris and he groan again.

"I'm unconscious," he said to himself.

Michelangelo was indeed unconscious he had lost a lot of blood due to his battle with Chris, but the turtles and Baxter were able to get him to the lair in time. Both Baxter and Donnie worked away to save him leaving him stable for the time being.

"I can't believe this happened. What was he thinking?" asked Donnie.

"Obviously not much," mutter Raph.

"There was so much blood too much blood. How does one lose that much blood?" asked Baxter as he ramble to himself.

"I just don't get it. Who's this boss leader?"

"His name is Oroku Saki otherwise known as the Shredder leader of the Foot clan," said Master Splinter.

"Sensei?"

"I have recently been inform about many things told by my beloved and by the spirit of Michelangelo."

"Should he even be trusted though?" asked Leo. "I know he's Mikey and all, but still."

"Michelangelo older-self has shown me many things. He has shown me the world he has come from a world in which the Shredder owns. He has shown me a city that no longer stands and the Foot clan is at large. But in order for you to understand who the Shredder is first you must understand who Oroku Saki is. At least that is the name I had known him as. I had once seen him as my brother we trained together back in Japan. However, our heart feel for the same woman. Tang Shen."

"Mum?" said the turtles in unison.

"Yes, we had both constantly completed for your mother attention. But in the end I had won her heart. Oroku couldn't let go of this and soon lost his soul to jealously and rage. He had broken into our house at the time and challenge me to a mortal duel. I accepted. And, so we fought. The house caught on fire soon after. This was the same fire that would end up killing my beloved and my daughter. I flee here to America and brought you four when you had been turtles before I was mutated. For years I had thought both my daughter and Oroku were dead. Until now,"

"Wait, you mean Miwa alive?" asked Leo.

"Yes, she has been raised by Oroku known as the Shredder."

"The same guy Mikey wants to kill," said Baxter.

"Indeed."

"Would Mikey know though?" asked Donnie.

"Michelangelo has known for some time. So, I have been informed."

"Sensei, you're not mad at him?" asked Leo.

"No, Leonardo I am not. I am however concerned and worried. My youngest son should not be so intent in killing someone."

"Wait. How does Mikey know about Miwa?"

And, then it dawned on the family that Baxter didn't know his best friend was from the future.

"And, what do you mean about Michelangelo older-self."

"Ah," said Leo.

"Leo do something," said Raph.

"Why me?"

"Because you're the oldest."

"Ah," said Leo.

"What did I miss?"

"Nothing," chipped in Donnie. "Absolutely nothing. Oh, look at the time you must have work. Come on Stickman time to go."

Donnie was practically pushing Baxter out of the lair. Baxter stamp his foot.

"I want answers."

"And, you will get answers," said Donnie. "Just not now. Bye Baxter."

"You mean he doesn't know yet?"

The family came to another pause as all of sudden there was older Mikey standing behind Baxter. Baxter saw and jumped and duck behind Donnie.

"What is that?" Baxter asked pointing a shaky finger at Mikey.

"What's he doing here?" Michelangelo sneer.

"This is the ghost of our um, great grandfather," said Donnie.

Leo nodded frantically Raph face palm.

"Your grandfather was a mutant turtle?"

Splinter tug on his beard.

"Yes," said Donnie unsure.

"Grandfather?" asked the older Michelangelo.

"Great," corrected Donnie.

"Right," both Baxter and Michelangelo said. Donnie smiled nervously.

"I think I'll go before this gets weird. I'll come back tomorrow to see how Big M is handle things." Baxter looked Michelangelo from head to toe. "Nice to meet you, um grandfather."

"Whatever mutant fly."

Baxter raised an eyebrow, but ran of out of the lair. Leo sighed.

"Weren't you friends with Stickman in your timeline?" asked Raph.

"No. He tried to kill us and worked for the Shredder."

"I knew he shouldn't be trusted."

"Raph. He's Mikey friend."

"Whatever Leo."

"I made friends with that loser?"

"Don't you have any other places to haunt," said Donnie.

"I supposed. By the way there's no stopping myself now. He knows his mission and he isn't going to stop."

The ghost faded away leaving the family behind.
