''Abi, Liv!'' Brittany breaths out as she slides up to the couple leaning against the front desk waiting for her.
''Hey B.''
''What happened?'' She asks softly as she hugs them, Abi runs a hand through her hair and sighs.
''San lost her footing during a stunt, she had to jump over a wall but it was a bit higher as expected so her foot hit the edge and she tumbled over it.''
Brittany winces and sighs. ''How bad is it?''
''She managed to cover her head partly, but she still went down pretty hard.''
''Three bruised ribs and a concussion.'' Liv adds with a sigh. ''She also has a bloody cut near her temple, I cleaned and bandaged it but I am pretty sure a night without Nic would do her throbbing headache good.''
Brittany nods her head in agreement and sighs. ''Does she have to stay here, or can she go home?''
''She can go home but she needs someone to stay with her.'' Liv breaths out. ''We thought about offering her to come with us, but I am pretty sure you won't leave her side.''
''You got that right.'' Brittany breaths out with a soft chuckle. ''The both of you can come over though.'' She adds knowing Abi would like to check on her little sister.
''You won't mind?'' Abi asks carefully, Brittany shakes her head and smiles.
''Not at all.''
''Come on let's go pick her up and go home, I am sure she wants to relax in a nice bed instead of the bed we offer here.'' Liv murmurs with a grin. ''I am off the clock, so we can leave immediately.''
''I am parked up front.'' Brittany tells them with a slight grin. ''The security ignored it so I think Emilio told him something.''
''Probably.'' Abi laughs out as they walk into Santana's room, Brittany just smiles walking over to her girlfriend as she tiredly turns to look at them and leans down to kiss her forehead softly.
''Hey you.'' She murmurs against the warm skin. ''How are you feeling?''
''Like a monkey plays drums in my head.'' Santana grunts out. ''Can I go home now?'' She asks turning to Liv.
''Yeah we all will go.'' Liv tells her softly as she pulls the blanket back, she smiles as Brittany gently helps Santana sitting up making sure she won't put too much pressure on her hips and glances at her girlfriend grinning as she sees her loving grin. ''Nic and Soph are enjoying some abuela and Abuelo time, the four of us will enjoy a relaxing night at B's place.''
''Let's get you home.'' Brittany murmurs, she takes the shoes Abi holds out for her and crouches down in front of Santana to help her put them on. She stands back up holding out her hands for Santana and slowly helps her stand up, she locks eyes with her as she grunts and bites her lip. ''Wheelchair?''
''No way.'' Santana breaths out with a shake of her head. ''I can walk.''
Brittany glances at Liv rolling her eyes as she shakes her head with an amused grin and looks down at Santana. ''Which side are your bruised ribs?''
''Left.'' Santana grumbles softly, Brittany hums sliding on her right side and gently hooks her arm through hers.
''Okay?'' She asks softly, she grabs her bag off of the bed before one of the girls can as Santana hums softly and turns to look at them. ''Let's go, will the both of you drive with us or alone?''
''We will drive after you, shall we bring dinner?'' Abi asks as they slowly walk out of the room.
Brittany glances at Santana and smiles slightly. ''Nah I will make us some soup, I have a new bread stick recipes and I need some lab-rats.''
''Did you just call us rats?'' Liv asks faking being offended, Brittany sucks in her lips as Santana doubles over with a groan as she laughs and quickly supports her weight in her arms.
''Shit sorry babe.'' She breaths out sheepishly, she shoots Liv a wink and snickers. ''Yes I did.''
''Please don't make me laugh the coming few days.'' Santana breaths out as she straightens back up with her left arm wrapped around her midsection, she glances at her girlfriend and bites her lip. ''Yeah I don't think that will happen.'' She whispers with a shake of her head. ''I hope Liv wrote down the good drugs.''
''I will try.'' Brittany promises with a small grin as she unlocks her car, she nods her head to the security as they just lock eyes and walks around the car after helping Santana with the seat belt.
''Paul didn't kick you off of this spot?'' Santana asks in surprise as soon as Brittany slid in the car, Brittany shakes her head as she starts her car and smiles slightly.
''I think your dad said something, aside from looking up with a frown right after I parked he didn't say anything after seeing my car.'' She intertwines their hands on Santana's leg and glances at her. ''Do you want to take a bath?''
''The heat will be good right?'' Santana asks softly, she turns her head to look at Brittany and hums softly as she notices her nod. ''Yeah a bath sounds great, will you join me?''
''Hot tub?'' Brittany snickers as Santana turns to her in surprise and winks. ''There is a reason that I had to be home the past few days babe, delivery had a slight delay, it had to arrive last week but it arrived two days ago.''
''Wait that is what Nic meant with a new pool?'' Santana asks, Brittany nods her head and smiles slightly.
''He was the first one that had the chance to enjoy it, I invited the crew over this weekend for dinner and drinks but I will postpone that until you feel better.''
''No don't postpone, don't call off whatever you have planned because this happened mi amor.''
''I don't have anything but that planned.'' Brittany breaths out. ''And the crew will understand.''
Santana shakes her head and squeezes her hand softly. ''I can just sit around and mingle with them Britt-Britt, please don't cancel.''
''Are you sure?'' Brittany parks her car in front of her house as she hears her hum and slowly lifts her hand up to her lips to kiss the back of it. ''I will make some breadsticks for you that night, the crew already knows that Nic will be there too so we will tone down the cocktails and noise.''
She glances at Liv's car as it parks beside hers in the garage and smiles slightly. ''Want to invite the crazies?''
''Whatever you want baby.'' Santana breaths out, Brittany nods her head as she slides out of the car and walks around to help Santana out.
''Girls you still know where to find the bikini's?'' She asks turning to Abi and Liv as soon as Santana is standing beside her. ''Pick one out and join us outside?''
''I don't think swimming is a good idea now B.'' Liv breaths out.
''No swimming.'' Brittany tells her with a wink. ''Just go and change, I will help Santana change and prepare our soup.''
''Join us too Britt-Britt, we can just eat a sandwich or order in.'' Santana tells her softly as they walk into the house, Brittany hums slowly leading her up the stairs after kicking her shoes off and leads her into her bedroom.
''I will.'' She whispers, she kisses her temple as she slowly helps her sit down on the bed making sure it doesn't move too much and smiles lovingly as they lock eyes. ''Which bikini do you want San?''
''Is the red one clean?'' Brittany nods her head chuckling as just smiles and pushes herself up, she walks over to the dresser grabbing the red bikini and grabs a baby blue one for herself.
''Can you give me a painkiller before I move too much?''
She nods her head taking the painkillers Liv handed her out of the pocket of her jeans and crouches back down in front of her after grabbing a bottle of water out of the mini fridge she keeps in her room, she holds both up for her and gently runs her hands up her legs as she watches her swallow the pill. ''Do I want to know what stunt that had to be?'' She asks softly.
''A quite easy stunt.'' Santana murmurs with a sheepish grin. ''I just miscalculated the jump and didn't expect the wall to be that high, I just had to jump over it but my foot hit the edge and caused me to lose my footing.''
Brittany shakes her head and smiles sadly. ''I know it's weird coming from me seeing I got injured more than once, but I hate seeing you hurt San.''
''Ditto.'' Santana whispers with a slight grin. ''But we both have jobs that might cause it, I could ask someone to do those stunts but I want to do them myself as long as I can.''
''I know and I will never ask you to not do it.'' Brittany murmurs as they lock eyes, she squeezes her legs softly and smiles. ''But if I promise to try to be more careful on the field, will you promise me to try and be more careful during stunts?''
She laughs as Santana's eyebrows raise in surprise and shrugs. ''I saw the hurt in your eyes the first four days after the final match.'' She breaths out. ''I definitely forced my my body through too much and suffered too long from my own stupid decision, so from now on I will promise to listen more to my body and call it quits as soon as it starts protesting.''
''Don't promise things you can't keep babe.'' Santana breaths out with a grin. ''We both know that you will give everything to bring in another win.''
''Yeah but I can warn you beforehand if that will happen or not, it depends on the match.'' Brittany murmurs chuckling. ''You know that I will never break a promise and I won't break this one either San.''
''I know.'' Santana whispers as she carefully lifts her arms to wrap them around Brittany's toned shoulders. ''Alright I will promise you to be more careful too.'' She breaths out with a grin. ''We both have a job that might cause some injuries though.''
''I know and that is why we are not promising to never get injured, just to be a bit more careful so we don't worry too much whenever one of us is at work.'' Brittany breaths out, she smiles slightly as Santana raises an eyebrow and chuckles. ''Yes I know, we both still worry.''
''Damn right we do.'' Santana breaths out chuckling. ''How was your day?''
''I will tell you all about it as soon as we slid into the water.'' Brittany murmurs as she stands back up, she pecks her lips after helping her slowly take off the shirt she wears. ''You okay?'' She asks softly after she helped her get dressed.
''Yeah it's just a soft pull, doesn't hurt that much.''
''And your head?''
''Throbbing but the painkiller helps.'' Santana breaths out as she watches Brittany change quickly, she runs her fingers over her tattoo as she watches it ripple with every move and smiles as she feels her shiver. ''Ready?''
''Yeah let's go.'' Brittany breaths out as she grabs four towels, she walks in front of Santana down the stairs making sure she won't fall down and looks over her shoulder as she feels her warm hand on her shoulder.
She winks as she notices her loving grin, slowing down so they can walk side by side out into the backyard and leans down to kiss her forehead. ''Do you want to drink something?''
''We will grab something for all of us.'' Liv tells her before Santana can reply. ''What do the both of you want?''
''Coke.'' Santana breaths out smiling as she hears Brittany answer at the same time, she follows her to the pool house and raises an eyebrow as her eyes land on the dark wooden hot tub. ''Damn.''
Brittany snickers taking out her phone, she taps a few buttons after opening the smart app and smiles as she hears the water fill the tub and leans against it looking at Santana. ''Ready to relax?''
''When did you decide to buy this?'' Santana asks softly as she holds her hand against one of the jets feeling the warm water hit her hand.
''A few months ago, it allows me to relax after a stressful game and I think it's nice for the both of us to just relax on the weekends after tucking Nic in.''
''And Nic already enjoyed this?''
Brittany nods her head and laughs. ''Right after cleaning it, I might build a real pool in the backyard too though.'' She helps Santana climb in as soon as the tub is fully filled and slides down beside her, she turns to look at her and shrugs as she looks at her in surprise. ''Working out in the office is nice but hot as fuck during the summer, so swimming will be some sort of workout too.''
''Who will you hire to build it?'' Santana asks curiously.
''Build what?'' Abi and Liv ask in unison.
''Damn B, did you hide this from us?'' Liv asks in surprise as they climb into the hot tub, Brittany shakes her head and snickers.
''Nah I just bought it, Nic helped me clean and enjoy it a few days ago after I picked him up from school.''
''Little guy relaxes sooner than his mami.'' Abi muses, Santana laughs immediately grabbing her ribs as they throb and groans.
''Fuck hermana, don't make me laugh.'' She grumbles. ''And mi hijo enjoys so much more, Britt cooks lunch whenever he spends the day with her or enjoys something the crew prepared.''
Brittany shrugs her shoulders and chuckles. ''I rather cook him something or ask Kitty to make something than drive to McDonald's.''
''This is amazing.'' Liv breaths out as she slides down to enjoy the water with a soft content hum, Brittany smiles as Santana hums in agreement carefully leaning into her side and softly taps her hip.
''Scoot forward.'' She murmurs softly, she slides behind her the second she moves away from the backrest and gently pulls her back smiling as she easily adjusts to the new position and relaxes back against her.
''So what do you want to build and who do you want to hire?'' Abi asks curiously, Brittany looks up after intertwining her hands with Santana's and smiles.
''I want to build a pool and I didn't decide who I will hire yet.'' She tells her chuckling. ''I do know what I want, so I will just contact a few people and take the one that sounds like he has experience and know how to do his job.''
''And what do you want?'' Liv asks curiously as she notices Santana tilt her head back to look at Brittany.
Brittany reaches for her phone on the edge after drying her hand and pulls up the pool design she saved to her phone, she shows it Santana smiling as her eyebrows raise in surprise. She turns her phone to show the other two the design and chuckles as their jaws drop. ''That, I absolutely love the stone waterfall design and the LED lights brings out a pretty nice effect around the backyard.''
''Besides I still have a huge space left, I also want two soccer goals on the other side of the backyard and on one side I still want to keep the vegetables and fruit.''
''So an activity and gardening backyard?'' Abi asks in amusement, Brittany nods her head and smiles.
''Yeah one side pool, one side things for kids, I want to add a playground set too so the kids can play around here too while we talk.''
''Only the fire pit is missing.'' Santana breaths out chuckling, Brittany smiles slightly showing her, her phone and zooms in on the seating corner.
''Right in the middle of the lounging area.''
''That will cost a fortune B.'' Liv breaths out with a shake of her head as Abi and Santana turn to Brittany in shock, Brittany shrugs her shoulders and smiles.
''Everything I do now will be added to the price in case I will sell the house in the future, I already renovated a lot and added some additional things so I do need someone that will calculate everything before it lands back on the market.''
''May I ask how much you paid for the house?'' Liv asks curiously.
''Nine hundred thousand.'' Brittany breaths out, she bites her lip as Liv's eyes widen and shrugs. ''I only added three hundred thousand, the rest of the money was all the money my parents gave me that I always put on a secret bank account and the money I inherited from all four of my grandparents.''
''So you used up all of your savings for your house?'' Abi asks.
''Most of it yes, I also used an amount to buy the restaurant.'' Brittany breaths out. ''I promised my grandparents to use it for something useful and I think a house and the restaurant is the best way to use it.''
''Yeah it is.'' Santana breaths out. ''You use it for things that bring in more money, your restaurant is running and you work on your house so if you ever want to sell it you receive much more than what you paid.''
''I bought it without the patio.'' Brittany breaths out with a slight grin. ''I build the patio with the help of the crew and the backyard looked like shit so the girls cleaned that up.''
''Did you add more?'' Liv asks curiously.
''Nah just renovated, painted and added more furniture.'' Brittany breaths out chucking. ''I fell in love with this house because it's right on top of the hill and has an amazing view from almost every window, it is also almost impossible for people to reach this house without security noticing them so it also gives me a bit more security in case my birth monsters decide to pay me a visit.''
''They are still mad that my grandparents left all their belongings including their houses to me, I sold their houses and used the money to secure my own future, use it for the restaurant, the house and I have a bit set aside in case something happens.''
''So you already set money aside if you can't continue working?'' Abi asks in surprise.
''I am a soccer player.'' Brittany breaths out. ''Every match could be my last depending on the tackles and injuries, I can still run the restaurant but there is always a possibility that I can't continue playing soccer.''
''Let's not think about that.'' Santana breaths out as she squeezes Brittany's hand softly.
''I agree, but it's good that you still have the restaurant so you are not completely unemployed.''
''That is why I started with three jobs and have four now.'' She chuckles as Abi looks at her in surprise and holds up her right hand keeping her left intertwined with Santana's. ''Soccer player, soccer trainer, restaurateur and DJ.''
''You get paid for training the little angels?'' Abi asks curiously.
''Yeah the little Angels belong to Angel FC, so I get paid to do both that is why Beiste approached me the second it came out that I am open to start a second job.''
''But you already had a second and third.'' Abi breaths out in confusion.
''The restaurant wasn't finished yet and nobody aside from your family and some of my friends know that I am Diamond.''
''How the hell do you deal with the stress?'' Liv asks frowning. ''I am glad I finish a ten hour shift and can cuddle up to Abi and Soph.''
''I don't count training the little Angels to stress, sure playing soccer is stressful but that entirely depends on the opponents and what kind of match it is.'' Brittany explains. ''I love owning the restaurant and I know it runs even without me being there because Marley and Kitty both keep an eye on everything.''
''The only stressful thing is Avalon.'' Santana grumbles with a shake of her head knowing Mike keeps annoying Brittany on her weekends off.
''Yeah.'' Brittany agrees as Liv and Abi both frown. ''But if he continues annoying me on my weekends off and can't understand that I now also need time so I can enjoy it with my family and friends, he can search for another DJ, there are enough clubs around LA that want to hire me and do accept that I only play on certain weekends.''
''You would leave Avalon?'' Liv asks in surprise.
''Yeah I would, Mike keeps on pushing me even though I told him that I only will play on certain days.'' Brittany explains with a sigh. ''Every Friday or Saturday night my phone rings even though I told him that I won't join every weekend, I also have requests from Nightingale, Playhouse and Nice guy.''
She smiles slightly as their eyes widen and kisses the side of Santana's head as she leans back against her with a soft hum the second she turned the jets massaging their legs on. ''Three clubs that are mostly safe havens for celebrities, San and Q are both rising to the top fast now after Cat Woman stormed up to the top five so a change wouldn't be that bad for me or for Jay.''
''Jay will join you?'' Liv asks with a grin.
''Jay is my partner.'' Brittany breaths out chuckling. ''Where I play, he plays.''
''He started to play because Britt encouraged him.'' Santana explains as Abi frowns in confusion, the both of them knowing that he is Mike's little brother. ''He also takes over whenever Brittany decides to end a session early or jumps in whenever she asks him to, it is also a side job for him and the restaurant is his first priority.''
''And nobody knows, how do the both of you manage to do that?''
''We change in the booth before leaving.'' Brittany breaths out chuckling, she grabs her phone as she hears Santana's stomach grumble and lifts it up to look at the time. ''It's almost seven.'' She breaths out. ''Order dinner and enjoy a movie?''
''Can we eat in here?'' Santana asks tilting her head back to look at her with a tired grin.
''Nope no food near the hot tub or pool.'' Brittany breaths out as Abi and Liv snicker, she pecks her lips as she pouts and winks. ''Let's get dressed and relax babe.''
