Helping Haruka and Keiko
After saving Misato, it was time to help Haruka Yasuda and her mum Keiko Yasuda. Reina and her group were standing inside the neighbourhood. "Hone Onna I'm going to need your help with this one" said Reina. "Who are we helping Reina-san?" asked Hone Onna. "We are helping a woman named Keiko because she is going to get harassed by a woman named Namiko Todaka" said Reina.
Reina explained to her companions about Namiko Todoka; her being the wife of a bank manager, her being a spoilt, mean, selfish woman and her being an adulteress. "So your saying this woman commits adultery despite her husband loves her and spoils her?" asked Hone Onna. "I'm afraid so;" said Reina "that woman is completely consumed by the deadly sin lust. Worst of all she makes sure no one ever knows about her secret affairs, and if anyone does know about it she would terribly harass them. That's what will happen to Keiko if we don't help her right away". "I understand" said Hone Onna. "Ren, Wanyuudou and Yamawaro, Hone Onna and I will be doing this job ourselves, you three just keep an eye out on things" said Reina. "We understand" said Ren Wanyuudou and Yamawaro.
The next day Reina and Hone Onna called on Keiko, pretending to be her new neighbours. Keiko invited them in for some tea. "I hope you don't mind us dropping in Keiko" said Reina. "Not at all;" said Keiko "truth is I haven't made any new friends yet so I'm glad to enjoy the company". Reina and Hone Onna looked at each other; it was time to tell Keiko the truth about Namiko. "Do excuse me Keiko but there is something that we really want to talk to you about" said Hone Onna. "What is it?" asked Keiko. She had just served some tea. "Well it's about Namiko Todoka" said Reina. "Oh I know her," said Keiko "my husband works for Mr Todoka, the bank manager. He wants me to get along with her, but for some reason I feel unsteady whenever I see her". "You have every right to be unsteady Keiko because Namiko is not a very nice woman" said Reina. "It is true;" said Hone Onna "she is spoilt, rude and she acts really nasty when somebody upsets her". "What?" said Keiko. "It's the truth Keiko;" said Reina "the last time somebody upset Namiko, she harassed that person so much she nearly thought about committed suicide". (This is what Keiko did in episode 6 when Namiko sent men over to her to rape her) Keiko was shocked from hearing that. "Our advice to you is stay away from her and whatever you do don't stare at her house; she hates it when people do that". After hearing that Keiko definitely decided not to make friends with Namiko, even if she was her husband's boss's wife.
After finishing talking to Keiko, Reina and Hone Onna met up with the others. "What are we going to do about that woman Namiko, Reina-san?" asked Reina. "Hmmm we could reveal everything to her husband," said Reina "but I do fear about the consequences of that. I mean word would get out of this all over this town and her daughter Yuria Todoka will get bullied a lot". "I see what you mean;" said Hone Onna "but we can't really let this woman get away with her sins can we?" "No because she will be continuing harassing others later on," said Reina "not to mention she'll be encouraging her daughter to bully others too, and encourage her husband to do unfair things as well. So we will be revealing everything to Mr Todoka. My plan is we do the same thing we did with Aya Kuroda". "Oh, we are going to make her spill the beans and have her husband hear everything?" asked Ren. "Correct and I'm going to play the victim," said Reina "but we'll do it the day after tomorrow. Tomorrow I'm going to help Keiko deal with that husband of hers". "There something wrong with her husband?" asked Wanyuudou. "Yes I'm afraid;" said Reina "the truth is Mr Yasuda is one of those selfish and stubborn type of men who only cares about his reputation, never listens to what his own wife has to say, expects far too much out from his family, and he blames his family for when anything goes wrong". "Oh that's rotten;" said Hone Onna "if I had a husband like that I would leave him". "So would I;" said Reina "that's why Hone Onna, you and I need to have a talk with her about it". "I understand" said Hone Onna. "Now Ren, Wanyuudou and Yamawaro I need you three to take any evidence of Namiko's secret love affairs tomorrow as part of the plan" said Reina. "We understand" said Ren, Wanyuudou and Yamawaro.
The next day Ren, Wanyuudou and Yamawaro got ready to spy on Namiko, while Reina and Hone Onna went to visit Keiko again. Keiko was happy when Reina and Hone Onna came to visit her again. "How's everything going Keiko?" asked Hone Onna. "Well I'm still trying to get used to living here in a town;" said Keiko "my family and I used to live in the country, but we moved because of my husband's job". "Is that so," said Reina "now I hope you don't mind me asking but did you take our words about Namiko Todoka yesterday?" "I did actually;" said Keiko "truth is when I look at her I want to stay away from her. And to be honest with you my daughter Haruka said to me last night that she feels uneasy when she sees her classmate Yuria Todoka". "Ah Namiko's daughter huh?" said Reina "I don't blame Haruka for that; Yuria is actually a snobbish, spoilt girl who likes to pick on those who have a lower rank than her. It's Mr Todoka's fault; as he's so rich due to being a bank manager he likes to spoil his wife and daughter". Those words made Keiko feel more uncomfortable.
Reina turned to Hone Onna and nodded; it was time to talk about her husband. "I hope you don't mind me asking Keiko," said Reina "but did you tell your husband what we told you yesterday?" Keiko sighed. "I tried to tell him but he wouldn't believe me, well more like wouldn't listen to me," she said "the truth is my husband never listens to what I have to say. It's like my words don't matter to him. Mind you in my honest opinion he doesn't care about my words. He's always cared more about his job than his own wife and daughter". "Really?" said Reina, pretending not to know, "what else is he like?" "Well he always controls everything we do," said Keiko "expects us to do exactly what he says, even stuff we don't want to do, always takes it out on me with verbal abuse when something has gone wrong, and no matter how hard I try nothing I do keeps him satisfied". Reina and Hone Onna looked at each other with sympathy for Keiko. "I'm amazed that you are still married to him;" said Hone Onna "if that was me I would have divorced him by now". Keiko sighed again. "I have actually thought about divorcing him I must admit," she said "but I have always been afraid of how Haruka would feel. I've always tried to keep the family happy because of her". "I do understand how you feel;" said Reina "but staying with a selfish man like your husband will just make you feel more miserable than you already are. Not to mention Haruka will feel fed up with him later on in her life". "Reina's right Keiko;" said Hone Onna "and that's why you need to talk to Haruka about how you feel about her dad. I'm pretty sure she understands what her dad is like by now". Keiko silently agreed.
Later that day Reina and Hone Onna met up with the others. Ren, Wanyuudou and Yamawaro gave Reina pictures of a delivery man visiting Namiko and making love to her. Yamawaro was the one who took the pictures as he was able to get into the house and spy on her, taking care not to be seen. Ren kept his eyes on things while Wanyuudou just kept watch on the house. "Hate to think what Mr Todoka will think when he sees these" said Hone Onna. "This will ruin their marriage that's for sure" said Ren. "Alright now is the time we get ready for the next plan;" said Reina "I will see Namiko have an affair this evening and have her come after me tomorrow. Wanyuudou tomorrow you shall visit Mr Todoka at his bank tomorrow and tell him everything. Ren, you and Hone Onna will get ready to trap Namiko and whatever man she brings with her, when she starts to make moves to try and harass me. Then we'll make her spill the beans about everything. Yamawaro I have an important job for you". "What do you need me to do Reina-san?" asked Yamawaro. "Well Hone Onna and I had a chat with Keiko about her husband," said Reina "so she will be talking with her daughter about how she feels. So Haruka is going to need someone to talk to about it. Can I ask you to talk to Haruka?" "Of course" answered Yamawaro.
Later that evening Reina stood in front of Namiko's house. No one was around yet, and Reina was waiting to take a peak of Namiko having an affair. It wasn't long though till she saw Namiko, next to a window, making love with a delivery man. (The same one from episode 6) Namiko noticed Reina, which made her furious of course. Reina frowned; the prey had taken the bait.
Next day Reina was watched by Namiko, while she was greeting Keiko. Because of yesterday, Namiko was going to attack any minute now. 'Wanyuudou go visit Mr Todoka now and Yamawaro you go see Haruka now' said Reina, in telepathy. Wanyuudou and Yamawaro went off to do as they were told.
Yamawaro went off to the school Haruka attended and disguised himself as a student. He waited till it was break time to talk to her. Once it was break time he asked her if they could talk and Haruka agreed. "Sorry if I was disturbing you, but you looked troubled a lot" said Yamawaro. "I am troubled;" said Haruka "I think my mum is thinking about divorcing my dad". Haruka explained to Yamawaro about her mum explaining to her how she felt about her dad's behaviour. "How do you feel about your dad?" asked Yamawaro. "Well I have to admit I can't really talk to my dad as much how I talk to my mum," said Haruka "and he doesn't really spend time with me much. And for as long as I can remember I've never seen my mum and dad smile at each other and dad never seems to be happy with whatever my mum or I do". Yamawaro looked at Haruka in pity; he could see Haruka wasn't happy either. "No offense Haruka," said Yamawaro "but your dad sounds like a real selfish control-freak who never cares about how those around him feel. It's no wonder your mum feels like divorcing him and you can't really blame her for that. I mean you yourself wouldn't want to stay with a selfish partner like that would you Haruka?" Haruka admitted she wouldn't. "And another thing Haruka, your dad may end up controlling your life; he might tell you what high school to go to, what college to attend, what job to have, and he might even choose your husband in the future. Control-freak types of parents do that sort of thing to their own children. Do you want your dad to do that to your future?" "Of course not!" shouted Haruka "I want to decide my own future thank you!" "Then I suggest you tell your mum how you feel" said Yamawaro. Haruka said she would. Reina was right; Haruka really did need a talking just like her mum Keiko did.
While Yamawaro was comforting Haruka, Wanyuudou made his way to Mr Todoka's bank. He disguised himself as a normal client and went inside. Once he was in there he asked an employee if he could talk to the manager. A few minutes later Wanyuudou was led into the manager's office. "Do excuse me for wanting to talk to you out of the blue like this Mr Todoka" said Wanyuudou. "It's no problem," said Mr Todoka "so what can I do for you sir?" "Well the reason I'm here is because there's something important I need to tell you about your wife" said Wanyuudou. "What do you mean?" asked Mr Todoka. Wanyuudou frowned; Mr Todoka was not going to like this.
Meanwhile Reina was getting ready with her part of the plan. She remembered how Namiko sent over her male acquaintances to Keiko's house after she discovered her secret in the anime. Thanks to her magic she had a house in the area; this house was not really sold yet, so Reina was lucky to have a house ready for this plan. It wasn't long till Namiko contacted Reina and told her a friend of hers wanted to meet her. This was the signal for the plan to take place. Reina calmly replied she would be delighted to meet her friend. Namiko was surprised Reina accepted the invite, but she was glad Reina wasn't being difficult. She had no idea this was a trick. Reina told Ren and Hone Onna to get ready, and she sent a telepathic message to Wanyuudou to bring Mr Todoka to the house.
Soon Namiko and her friend (the same man who harassed Keiko in episode 6) turned up at the house. "I welcome you two into my house" Reina said, calmly. "Thank you for the invite" smirked Namiko. Suddenly Namiko and the man were grabbed by Ren and Hone Onna and they were both got tied up with rope by Reina and Yamawaro. "What's the meaning of this!" demanded Namiko. "What do you think?" said Reina "apart from being the type of woman who cheats on her own husband, you're also the type of woman who torments people if they upset and anger you. So it was obvious to me you were going to send this man to sexual harass me because I found out about your dirty little secret, am I right?" Namiko flinched angrily. "I don't understand you know;" said Hone Onna "you're married to a rich man you loves you and spoils you, and yet you commit adultery which is a foul thing to do. Why commit something like that?" Namiko snorted. "If you want to know I'll tell you why," she said "it's because that husband of mine is boring towards me. He barely touches me whenever I get his attention and he hasn't made love to me for years". "Oh," said Reina "so the real reason is because you are woman who has completely fallen to the deadly sin lust, you have love affairs with other men because your own husband doesn't satisfy your own needs?" "That's right," Namiko admitted "he may have a lot of money, but he doesn't have the desire to make love to me which is what I desire in life". Reina thought Namiko's condition was worse than she thought.
Suddenly the door burst open. Mr Todoka and Wanyuudou were standing there and they heard everything. Wanyuudou had brought Mr Todoka to the house just in time. Namiko was shocked from seeing her husband. "It's as I told you Mr Todoka" said Wanyuudou. He told Mr Todoka everything about Namiko's adultery. Namiko was just about to say something to her husband, but then he slapped her face hard. "You wrench!" he shouted "how dare you do this to me!" Of course Namiko tried to defend herself and tried to put the blame on Reina, but Mr Todoka wasn't going to trust her. Not after hearing her real words.
After many arguments Namiko and the man got arrested for attempted harassment and blackmailing on Reina. Mr Todoka was upset after realizing what type of woman his wife really was. He apologized to Reina at once for what happened. "I can't believe how blind I've been;" he said "with how Namiko took great care of the house and always acted so happy around me and Yuria, I never thought it was all such an act". "People who cheat on their own spouses always put on an act Mr Todoka, I've seen it before" said Reina. Mr Todoka sighed; after all this there was no doubt he was thinking about divorcing Namiko. "Mr Todoka do you mind if I suggest something to you?" asked Reina. "Go ahead" sighed Mr Todoka, who needed some advice on what to do now. "Well I suggest you have Yuria go live with relatives for a while," said Reina "with what just happened is going to take a while to settle down and the people in this town won't stop talking about it for a while. This will make Yuria a victim of bullying from her school, which is why she will need to be somewhere away from here till everything, is sorted out". Mr Todoka had no choice but to sadly agree to Reina's advice; he didn't want Yuria to suffer from this. Things were going to be hard for the family from now on.
It wasn't long till the news about Namiko adultery was spread across the town. Yuria was sent to live with relatives on her dad's side till things had settled down. She wasn't going to be the same ever again that's for sure. As the deal with Namiko was dealt with, it was time for Reina and Hone Onna to visit Keiko again.
A big change was happening with the Yasuda family. Keiko was going to divorce her husband and move back to the countryside with Haruka. When Reina and Hone Onna went to see Keiko she told them what was happening.
(Flashback)
When Mr Yasuda came home from work he told Keiko about what was going on with Mr and Mrs Todoka. He had heard about what happened from Mr Todoka. "You see I told you Mrs Todoka was a bad woman, believe me now?" said Keiko, angry that her husband didn't believe her before. "Alright I admit I was wrong and you were right, happy?" said Mr Yasuda. Keiko started to feel really angry now and clenched her fists; she really did have enough of her husband now. "No I am not happy," she said "as the matter of fact I've never been happy. You never listen nor believe to anything I say, you choose your job over your family, you care more of your reputation than anything else and you always blame me when anything goes wrong. Well I've had enough. I want a divorce!" "What did you say?!" shouted Mr Yasuda. "You heard me," answered Keiko "I can no longer see you as my husband anymore, and I've thought about divorcing you for a long time".
(Flashback ends)
"So you're really getting divorced?" asked Hone Onna. "Yes," answered Keiko "since he didn't apologize to me that time, like he never does, I realized you two were right about me always going to be miserable if I continue being married to him. So I gathered up all my courage to ask for a divorce". "Good for you" said Reina. "That man wasn't happy about it and kept on yelling it but seriously I have had enough of him, and Haruka agreed to the divorce because she understood" said Keiko. "That's why we told you it's important to talk to your own child before divorcing" said Reina.
So in the end Mr Todoka divorced Namiko for her adultery. Keiko divorced Mr Yasuda and moved out of the town with Haruka. Mr Yasuda was going to be a miserable grump for a while, but it was his own fault for being such a selfish man. Reina was glad this situation with two selfish people was over with.
Pity we never saw Mr Yasuda apologize to his wife for not listening to her after Namiko went to hell in the anime. Pity they never showed the rest of the Todoka family apologize to the Yasuda family either. If I was Keiko, I would divorce a jerk husband like hers.
