Saving Kaoruko

After dealing with Namiko Todoka, it was time to help Kaoruko Kurushima from episode 7. "Who are we dealing with this time Reina-san?" asked Hone Onna. "We are going to deal with a ruthless, ambitious girl named Ayaka Kurenai" said Reina. She explained to her companions about Ayaka Kurenai being the adopted daughter of Midori Kurenai, a leader of a famous acting troupe. "Midori-san adopted her because she seemed to have a real talent for acting," said Reina "but Ayaka is only acting just to gain Midori's fame and fortune". "So you're saying this girl is the type who does anything to get whatever she wants, including putting on acts?" asked Wanyuudou. "Exactly," said Reina "she's also the type who would do bad things to get what she wants too". Reina then explained about Kaoruko Kurushima, a tv actress. "That girl is a real actress and Midori will be choosing her to play a main role later on, instead of Ayaka". "I bet that will make Ayaka want to hurt Kaoruko right?" asked Ren. "Yes; Kaoruko is the next person to help" said Reina.

Reina made her way to Midori's acting studio and went undercover as a member of the troupe. Right now the plan was to watch Ayaka for the moment. Right now it wasn't time for Kaoruko to appear yet. At this moment Ayaka was rehearsing for the show Lady Detective, as the main character, but she wasn't doing very well. This made Midori cross with her and Ayaka was feeling cross too.

When the rehearsals were over, Reina went over to Ayaka to talk to her. Ayaka didn't like how Midori was treating her. "Do excuse me Ayaka," said Reina "but she's being strict for your own good. As you're to be the main character, Midori-san wants to make sure you do a great job not for this play but for the audience who will watch you too. Especially since you will take over this acting troupe one day; the world of acting is very strict". Reina understood Midori's strictness, but Ayaka didn't want to understand. She still had a lot to learn.

Later that night Reina and her companions saw Ayaka with the two boys from episode 7. "Those two boys are acquaintances of Ayaka and they're not the good type either;" said Reina "as Ayaka is now in a rich family they want money from her". "Oh so they're leeches then" said Ren. "Ayaka will be asking those two to attack and sabotage Kaoruko later on, so we'll bring both those three down to justice" said Reina. Reina knew Ayaka was going to set up a pretend burglary attempt on Midori with those boy's help now, but she was going to report that later.

The next day it was time for Midori to make the announcement. Everyone was surprised when Kaoruko became the main character instead of Ayaka. This made Ayaka mad of course and argued with Midori. To Midori, Kaoruko had more potential than Ayaka for this role. This was the signal for Reina to carry out another plan.

"Okay you four it's time we take action now" said Reina. "What are our tasks Reina-san?" asked Wanyuudou. "First off I need to get some evidence that Ayaka is trying to sabotage Kaoruko," said Reina "then I'll tell her what Ayaka plans to do. Next I'm going to pretend to look like her so Ayaka and those two boys will try to get me instead. I will take care of the boys myself. Wanyuudou you will take Kaoruko home, Ren you will tie up Ayaka while she's alone after she leaves me with the boys, Yamawaro you will call the police and Hone Onna I want you to tell Midori-san about Ayaka and also comfort her as well". The companions all understood the plan.

Later on Reina filmed Reina phoning the boys of her next horrible plan for Kaoroku and took photos of Ayaka placing tacks in Kaoruko's shoes on her phone without her noticing. After Ayaka's acting of demanding who did that when the tacks were discovered, Reina spoke to Kaoroku and told her what Ayaka was trying to do to her because of her jealousy. At first Kaoroku didn't believe it but Reina showed her the photos. Kaoroku couldn't believe Ayaka was this type of girl. "Listen to me Kaoroku-chan," said Reina "my driver is going to take you home now; there's no telling what Ayaka will do if you stay here now". "But what about Ayaka?" asked Kaoroku "don't you worry about her;" said Reina "I know what to do about her".

So while Wanyuudou took Kaoroku home, Reina disguised herself as Kaoroku. So when Ayaka came looking for Kaoroku she met up with the disguised Reina instead. Ayaka invited her for lunch and Reina accepted the invitation. Like in episode 7 of the anime, Ayaka took Reina to a café for lunch and then to an arcade. It wasn't long till the two boys turned up. Reina gave the signal to Hone Onna, Ren and Yamawaro. Hone Onna went off to see Midori, Yamawaro went to a phone to call the police and Ren kept an eye on Ayaka when we walked off.

The boys dragged Reina to an alleyway. (The same alleyway they dragged Kaoroku to in episode 7) Before the boys could do anything, Reina used her magic to knock them out. She grabbed the drug, which would have made Reina lose her voice if she drank it, off them. Just then Ren turned up with Ayaka, all tied up in rope. "What's the meaning of this?!" demanded Ayaka. "I asked my friend to bring you here Ayaka" answered Reina. Ayaka noticed the two boys' unconscious on the ground. "What have you done Kaoroku?" she asked. "I knocked them out before they could force me to swallow this dangerous drug," said Reina "and to let you know I'm not Kaoroku". She took off her disguise. Ayaka couldn't believe it. "That's a thing about fake actors like yourself; you can't tell the difference with real or fake" smirked Ren. "I already know that you planned to sabotage Kaoroku-chan so you would be the leading actress, so the gig is up" said Reina. She hypnotized Ayaka so she would confess everything.

Soon the police was on the scene; Yamawaro had guided them to the area. Reina told the police what the boys were going to do and showed them the drug. She also told them what Ayaka planned to do to Kaoroku and showed them the evidence on her phone. Once Ayaka got questioned by the police she blurted out the whole truth; thanks to Reina's hypnotism. She also blurted out she wasn't really interested in acting and just wanted Midori's fame and fortune. The police did not like her attitude at all and arrested her and the boys at once. Ayaka was going to be in terrible disgrace for sure.

At that time Hone Onna told Midori everything about Ayaka's true nature. Midori wasn't happy when hearing that. "When I first met Ayaka I knew and saw that really did have a talent for acting" said Midori. "Is that why you were so harsh on her during the rehearsals?" asked Hone Onna "It was to help bring out her acting talent right and to show her how tough an acting world can be, right?" "Yes it was my way of teaching her out of love, but she doesn't understand at all" said Midori. "Do excuse me Midori-san," said Hone Onna "but people like Ayaka would never understand, and there's nothing you can do to make Ayaka change her ways because she's too ruthless". Midori started to feel really upset now and started to consider on cancelling the show. "I suggest keep this show Lady Detective going;" said Hone Onna "your fans who are expecting this will be upset, especially Kaoroku-chan because she always wanted to act with you, and you may end up regretting it. Just make this show your final one for your and everyone's sake". "I'll think about it" replied Midori.

In the end Ayaka and the two boys were arrested and Ayaka was banned from acting for life. Midori cancelled her adoption for Ayaka and decided to do Lady Detective but make it her last show. So Kaoroku was safe this time and she was grateful to Reina for saving her; she got word about what Ayaka wanted to do to her. Reina was happy to have helped Kaoroku continue her dream of acting.

Hope you liked how I saved Kaoroku; I thought it was so unfair her acting career was over all because of that sick, greedy girl Ayaka. I thought Ayaka was pathetic on trying to get things she wanted through evil deeds. She was also pathetic of not seeing her adoptive mum was being strict for her own good.
