Part Two: Revel

There was a knock at the front door, and Eri padded across the carpet towards it while humming happily, unlocking the deadbolt to allow their visitor inside.

Bakugou slipped in out of the cold and closed the door behind himself before offering her a smile in greeting, sliding his duffel bag from his shoulder, and as she reached for his hands Bakugou noticed the music playing faintly from her earbuds.

The music was soft enough that normally he wouldn't have been able to hear it, but since Eri had healed him six weeks prior his hearing had been remarkable. She had already offered to use her quirk again as needed, should his own quirk cause further damages, as it most likely would. Rewind had become quite the powerful healing quirk over the years she'd spent perfecting it, and while Bakugou was not one to complain of such things it meant a great deal to him that she had offered her help so readily, ensuring he didn't suffer unnecessarily from any hearing loss.

As she took his hands she danced across the carpet on socked feet, humming along to the melody and smiling merrily, twirling and tugging Bakugou along to match her steps, Bakugou doing his best to keep up with her while chuckling softly.

Six weeks wasn't a great length of time for a bond to manifest, but somehow the connection between them had already grown into a gentle friendship, one that filled Bakugou's chest with tender warmth. He adored seeing Eri smile.

In so many ways, Eri reminded him of Uraraka. They both loved music, they both loved to sing and dance, and always made Bakugou an accomplice to their antics.

Bakugou indulged Eri whenever he could, and so he allowed her to take the lead, twirling her in circles as he mirrored her steps. Eri was delighted, giggling and clinging to his fingers as she tossed back her head, the sunlight streaming in through the curtains gleaming brilliantly as it twined in cascades of silvery curls.

She laughed and laughed, tripping over her feet as she lost her balance, trying to catch her breath. "Wait! Wait, I'm dizzy!"

Bakugou slowed their movements, tugging her close against his chest as she clung to his sweater, her entire face flushed with delight. He held her gently, cupping the back of her head and rubbing soothingly, petting along the curve of her spine and waiting for her laughter to calm. She was warm and soft, petite against his taller, broader frame, and Bakugou was careful of his strength every time he touched her, every time she invited him in.

Eventually she let out a happy sigh, looking up and meeting Bakugou's eyes, tugging one of the earbuds from her ear and lifting it to his own. "Do you like this kind of music? Papa loves to play dancing music, especially when he cleans." Her expression was soft, affectionate. "Music like this always reminds me of him, the way he would dance with me in the kitchen when I was a little girl."

"Hard to imagine Aizawa dancing." Bakugou chuckled, and Eri made a face at that before laughing again, turning to walk back towards the kitchen, grabbing her phone and setting the earbuds aside. Bakugou trailed after her casually, noting the soap suds on the countertop and the dishes in the drying rack. "Looks like you've been busy."

"It's the least I could do. Hitoshi always cooks for us, and I know he appreciates a clean kitchen when he comes home from work."

"He's working part-time at UA, huh?" Bakugou asked, and Eri nodded while tucking some of her hair behind her ear, beaming up at Bakugou excitedly.

"I'm so happy that Zuku went with him this time too! I think he's seriously considering sharing Hitoshi's classroom this spring." She picked up the sponge nearby and went back to scrubbing, wiping away the suds lingering on the countertop methodically. "His inside knowledge of villain operations is a valuable asset in teaching new heroes. A rare insight other teachers can't possibly replicate."

"It's true." Bakugou hummed his agreement, giving a little nod. "There's been a lot of talk about Izuku's return to UA. Everyone's excited for the most part. They want to see him, rekindle their friendships." He reached up to rub his nape, letting out a heavy sigh. "Not quite sure he's ready for all of that just yet, but it's nice to know he'll have their support."

There was a soft chime from the living room, then the sound of something shifting from the couch to the floor, and a moment later a large white cat waltzed into the kitchen, rubbing against Bakugou's leg while peering up at him curiously.

She meowed and flicked her gold-tipped ears, the bell on her collar chiming with her movements, Bakugou crouching down beside her to pat her head, marveling at her golden markings. "I didn't realize they had a cat…"

"That's because she hasn't been here before, she lives with me and Papa!" Eri explained with a smile, glancing back over her shoulder to watch them, Bakugou continuing to stroke between her large fluffy ears. "When Izuku and Hitoshi were taken by the League, she was left behind. She was still a kitten then, so she bonded with me in the time they spent apart."

"What's her name?" Bakugou asked, rising once again and watching as the cat padded over to rub against Eri's legs, weaving back and forth while meowing for attention.

Eri set the sponge aside, wiping her hands on a nearby dish towel before bending over to scoop her up, stepping closer to Bakugou's side. "Her name is Ochaco." She murmured gently, quietly gauging Bakugou's reaction. "Hitoshi gifted her to Izuku for his twenty-fifth birthday. She's nearly three now."

"She's such a pretty girl." Bakugou smiled, reaching out to pet her, Ochaco headbutting his hand and purring loudly as he petted her. Eri watched Bakugou for a long moment before reaching up to hug his neck with her free arm, careful not to squish the cat between them as she did so, Bakugou hugging her back lightly.

Eri finished the countertops before glancing around the kitchen with a satisfied nod, setting sponge in the sink and hanging the dish towel to dry before opening the fridge, calling out in a slightly muffled voice, "What sounds good to drink? We have lemonade and raspberry tea, or I can make green tea if you'd prefer something hot."

"Raspberry sounds nice." Bakugou replied, watching as Ochaco darted around the living room, chasing after a ball, grinning and tugging out his phone from his pocket to snap a picture. Eri appeared at his side a moment later with two glasses of raspberry tea, offering Bakugou one while letting out an exasperated sigh.

"This is why Papa has me take her with me any time I'm spending the weekend here instead of home. She drives him crazy when he's trying to work. Last time she knocked over all his papers, and spilled coffee on his books!"

"She does seem to have a lot of energy." Bakugou chuckled, glancing towards the small basket of toys sitting beside the touch. "Do you have a laser pointer? My mom's cat would go crazy over a laser pointer when I was a kid. You'd have her running around in circles til she tired herself out!"

"Hmm, maybe somewhere…" She stepped into the living room, sipping at her tea, crouching down to fish through the toy basket before finding a squeaker mouse, squeezing it a few times to get Ochaco's attention before tossing it towards the door.

Ochaco ran after the mouse instantly, pouncing on the toy before carrying it back to Eri, who took it from her and tossed it again. Bakugou watched their game of fetch with a smile, stepping closer and settling down on the couch, relaxing back against the cushions while taking a sip of his tea.

The sound of keys turning in the lock drew their attention, and a moment later Todoroki stepped through the door, closing it quietly while calling out a soft greeting.

"Welcome home!" Eri called, still digging through the basket, Bakugou meeting Todoroki's eyes as he padded closer, exchanging a little nod in greeting. Todoroki paused to give Ochaco a pat before disappearing upstairs to change out of his hero costume, reappearing after a few minutes in loungewear and plopping down beside Bakugou with a sigh.

"Glad it's finally the weekend?" Bakugou asked with a grin, and Todoroki hummed tiredly, reclining back his head and closing his eyes.

"The villains we captured earlier really gave us the runaround." Todoroki sighed, reaching up to rub his eyes in slow, soothing circles. "Luckily we had a few sidekicks with us, teaching them their routes. It made things a bit easier, having them there to handle crowd control and finish up paperwork. After a sixteen hour shift, Fumikage and I were ready to be done with it all."

Bakugou clicked his tongue against his teeth, nodding his understanding. "Jeanist has kept us busy lately. He's been pestering me about getting a sidekick of my own too. Still not sure if I like the idea, I'm used to patrolling alone."

"It's a lot of responsibility," Todoroki murmured tiredly, "Being responsible for the life of a younger hero. Fumikage and I are dragging our heels as well."

Eri finally settled down beside them with a triumphant grin, presenting the laser pointer she'd found to Bakugou before shifting her gaze to Todoroki, offering him an apologetic look. "I asked Papa if he would be willing to assign me to Hawks' agency, at least temporarily, but he's being stubborn about it." She frowned a little, tucking her hair behind her ear as she continued on. "If we worked at the same agency I'd be able to help with your patrols. I've received nothing but top marks as a sidekick-"

"Aizawa is right to be wary." Bakugou interrupted, shaking his head as Eri turned to meet his eyes. "Our agencies handle rough assignments, Eri. Working under Hawks would risk putting you in dangerous situations-"

"All hero work is dangerous." Eri replied with a pout, taking a sip of her tea.

"Still, working under Aizawa poses a notably lesser risk than working for an agency like Hawks', or Jeanist's."

"I'm surprised Sensei hasn't arranged for you to work under All Might." Todoroki said candidly, shrugging as both Bakugou and Eri turned towards him. "If you're looking to go Pro, that is. Otherwise, it's unlikely you'll ever be more than a sidekick."

Bakugou considered for a moment, then met Eri's eyes. "Do you think Aizawa's protectiveness of you is hindering your development as a Pro Hero?"

Eri hummed quietly, casting her eyes towards her glass of tea, tracing her fingers along the rim before nodding gingerly. "Some days it feels like that. I know Papa is only looking out for me. He's done so much for me, since Chisaki…" She smiled affectionately at the thought of her adopted father, looking up to meet Bakugou's eyes. "I'm only twenty. There's still time for me to decide what I want to do with the rest of my life."

Bakugou watched her for a long, quiet moment, then nodded lightly. He lifted his glass to take a drink, turning his eyes away, thinking of the vision he had shared with Midoriya weeks before.

She doesn't know.

Bakugou closed his eyes briefly, centering himself, focusing on the cool sensation of condensation against his fingertips, of Eri's knee pressed lightly against his thigh.

She doesn't know about our girls.

Midoriya had confided that there had been a moment when he had mentioned seeing Anastasia to Eri, but at that time Eri had shied away from the idea of being a mother, and since then they hadn't revisited the topic.

It was all Bakugou could think about every time he saw her. Every time he spent time with Eri, he remembered seeing Anastasia and Isabelle at the park. He had imagined countless scenarios of what it might be like to share his life with her. A friendship at first, then eventually a romance. A fondness turned into a deep affection that would one day transition into love.

It was hard for him to think about sometimes, the idea of being in love again. Of giving all of himself wholeheartedly to another. With Midoriya the concept was at least familiar, but with Eri everything was uncharted, untraversed territory, and it was absolutely terrifying. Not knowing what she wanted from him, not knowing if her feelings would ever genuinely reflect his own, should he allow himself to fall for her.

Regardless of Midoriya's reassurances, this was something Bakugou wouldn't be able to fully believe until he experienced it first-hand for himself.

There was a part of his heart that would never be the same again after losing Uraraka, no matter how much time passed, no matter what great strides were taken to help him heal. He feared that whatever he might try to give to Eri, what fragments still remained of his broken heart, it couldn't possibly suffice. It would never be enough, far less than what she deserved.

A hand pressed over his own, and Bakugou turned to meet Eri's eyes, noting the concern across her face. "Hey…are you okay? What are you thinking about?"

"Nothing." Bakugou murmured softly, and it came out rougher than he had expected. Eri watched him for a long moment, then carefully took his glass from his hand, setting their glasses atop the coffee table side by side before returning her attention to him, holding his eyes with a determined little frown.

"Don't push me away." She said gently, curling her fingers around Bakugou's. "You don't have to do that. You're safe here." She glanced towards Todoroki, who hummed softly, giving a little nod.

"You can talk to us, Bakugou. About anything you want."

Bakugou exhaled a soft huff of breath, then squeezed Eri's hand gently, carefully meeting her eyes. "Sorry, I'm trying to let my guard down. I just…" He closed his eyes briefly, his brow knitting. "It's hard to talk about."

Todoroki shifted a bit, reaching out to rest a hand on Bakugou's shoulder, and Eri leaned a little closer, resting against his side.

"Thank you for being here." She whispered, tracing her fingertips against the lines of Bakugou's palm. "I'm excited to spend time with you, it's the first time you've ever slept over since making up with Nii-chan." She smiled gently, looking up into his eyes. "We have the whole weekend to spend together. Whatever you're thinking, or feeling, you don't have to talk about it with us if you aren't ready. We just want you to know that you can, if you choose to." She laced their fingers, squeezing his hand tightly. "You can trust us, Bakugou. Really you can."

The tension that had coiled tightly in Bakugou's stomach began to lessen, and his expression softened as he squeezed her fingers, resting his arm around her lightly. "Thank you, Eri." He turned to Todoroki. "Thank you for offering. It still stuns me how all of you can be so kind."

"You deserve kindness." Todoroki murmured softly, squeezing Bakugou's shoulder before drawing back his hand, checking his phone for a moment before glancing towards the door. "Izuku and Hitoshi should be home any time now." He stood from the couch, padding towards the kitchen, "I'll set the table and start dinner prep. Eri, will you show Bakugou where we keep the extra pillows and blankets? Izuku will want to set up the fort."

Eri gasped excitedly as she jumped up from the couch, bouncing as she tugged at Bakugou's hand, leading him towards the stairs. "Oh this weekend is going to be so much fun! We haven't made a pillow fort in ages!"

Bakugou chuckled as he followed her up the stairs, a teasing smile turning up his lips. "He's still making forts huh? Some things haven't changed at all since we were kids." Eri glanced back at him as she reached the top of the stairs, tugging at Bakugou's hand lightly. "We'd make blanket forts all the time when we'd spend the night together. Our moms would help sometimes, and we'd have these super elaborate forts that would last for weeks before we'd accidentally knock 'em down." His voice trailed off a bit, and he glanced towards the balcony, his chest heavy with nostalgia. "Seems like it was yesterday. It's hard to grasp the decades that have passed since then."

Eri pressed a hand over his chest, and when Bakugou looked down at her he was surprised to see the affection shining in her eyes.

"I like hearing you talk about your childhood with Nii-chan." She murmured gently, petting back and forth over his heart. "It always makes me smile, listening to stories Nii-chan tells about you two. It's endearing to hear the same stories from the other side."

Bakugou blushed lightly, raising his brows in surprise. "Izuku talks about us making forts together?"

"He does." Eri whispered, patting his chest gently for a moment longer before stepping towards the large closet at the end of the foyer, opening the doors and grabbing an armful of extra bedding folded neatly inside.

Bakugou did the same, grabbing a mound of blankets and pillows before closing the door once more and carefully descending the stairs after Eri. They set everything together in a big pile beside the couch, and just as they finished cheery laughter sounded from the front door, and Shinsou and Midoriya stepped inside.

"We're home!" Midoriya called in a sing-song tune, Eri skipping across the carpet to wrap her arms around his middle, Midoriya hugging her tightly before looking towards Bakugou, a happy blush across his cheeks. "Kaachan! You're here already!" He nodded towards Shinsou, who was carrying a bag of groceries into the kitchen, "Hitoshi is making katsudon for dinner! Wait until you try it, his katsudon is the best!"

"Your opinion may be a bit biased, love." Shinsou chuckled, Todoroki greeting him with a kiss before helping him sort through the groceries, making a curious sound as he set a tall bottle of liquor on the table, tapping the blue glass with his fingertips.

"Are we celebrating?" Todoroki asked with a teasing grin, and Shinsou hummed an affirmative, glancing towards Midoriya as he padded into the kitchen with a bright smile.

"Izuku agreed to speak at a hero conference in a few weeks." Shinsou explained, fetching a salad bowl from the upper cabinet while continuing on, "Yagi-sensei was ecstatic. He wanted to treat us to dinner, but once we explained we already had plans he gifted us this instead."

Bakugou stepped past Midoriya, eyeing the bottle on the countertop with a grin of his own, casting his eyes between the heroes watching him. "Well? Are we gonna toast or what?"

Eri pouted a little as she laced her fingers with Midoriya's, leaning against his side. Shinsou noticed her expression right away, catching her eyes and giving her a little nod. "I already got the okay from Sensei. You can have a bit too, to celebrate with us."

Eri's face lit up and her cheeks flushed, a shy little smile turning up her lips. "Papa has let me try wine before, but I've never tried anything like that." She stepped a bit closer, reaching out to trace her fingertips across the shimmery label. "The bottle is so pretty!"

"Alright, alright. Out of the kitchen, all of you." Shinsou chided gently, shooing Eri, Bakugou, and Midoriya towards the living room, Todoroki lingering behind in the kitchen to help Shinsou with dinner prep. "We'll have as many toasts as you'd like once dinner is on the table. Until then, entertain yourselves."

Eri turned to take Midoriya's hands, tugging him towards the couch, plopping down atop the cushions and cuddling up against his side, Ochaco meowing insistently as she crawled across their laps. Bakugou took a seat beside Midoriya, opposite of Eri, reaching out to stroke along Ochaco's back as well while offering Midoriya a little smile.

"You're going to talk about your experiences with the League?" Bakugou asked, and Midoriya hummed a soft affirmation while looking up to meet his eyes.

"I'll have to be vague about certain things." Midoriya murmured, casting his eyes to the side. "I won't be able to say anything that could possibly enrage Shigaraki, but hopefully what I can speak about will be helpful to others in some way." His voice softened a bit, his gaze on Ochaco as he rubbed between her ears. "It's the least I can do, after causing everyone so much trouble. If it wasn't for Yagi-sensei and Aizawa-sensei, I might still be wearing a tracker, or serving a prison sentence, or worse…"

Eri shifted to wrap her arms around Midoriya's neck, hugging him gently, and Bakugou frowned a little while rubbing his upper back soothingly, leaning a little closer to catch Midoriya's eyes.

"You're very brave." Bakugou murmured gently, and Midoriya inhaled a little gasp, a blush instantly burning across his cheeks. His brow arched, and he threaded his fingers with Bakugou's, squeezing his hand tightly.

"Thank you, Kaachan." He whispered, leaning closer to press their foreheads together lightly. "Thank you for saying that. I'm trying my best to be. With this second chance, I want to prove myself. I want to be someone that all of you can be proud of."

Bakugou's expression softened, and he shifted his hand from Midoriya's back to cup his cheek, searching his eyes for just a moment before pressing a kiss to his lips, drawing back a few seconds later. Midoriya's face was entirely flushed as he stared up at Bakugou in surprise and obvious affection, and with a sheepish smile he ducked his head to hide against Bakugou's neck, Bakugou cupping the back of his skull and kneading against his dark curls.

Eri watched their exchange with a little blush, smiling and tucking some of her hair behind an ear, catching Bakugou's eyes over Midoriya's shoulder and giggling softly as they exchanged a lingering gaze.

When Midoriya lifted his face again he pressed a kiss to Bakugou's jaw, then turned his attention to Eri and asked, "You're attending with Aizawa-sensei, aren't you? He mentioned something about officially introducing promising sidekicks at the conference. Best Jeanist is supposedly presenting several new sidekicks too." He shifted his gaze to Bakugou at that, who snorted and turned away with a frown.

"Sounds like him." Bakugou shrugged, his eyes trailing towards the kitchen. "He hasn't brought it up to me yet, but he knows how I feel about being assigned some random extra. I'm not a babysitter, and I prefer solo patrols. I don't need a hero partner, or a sidekick. I do just fine on my own."

Midoriya hummed and patted his shoulder, asking teasingly, "Afraid of sharing the spotlight, Kaachan? Having a partner on patrols might be a pleasant change of pace! You'll never know-"

"I'm fine without knowing." Bakugou quipped, eyeing Midoriya with a little frown, "Can you really imagine me with a partner? Or a sidekick? Who could even keep up?"

Eri frowned at that, leaning across Midoriya's lap to assert, "Not all of us are inept, you know! You make it sound like being assigned a sidekick would be such a burden!" Ochaco jumped down from the couch, meowing as she darted across the carpet to tackle an unsuspecting ball, sending it rolling towards the stairs with a clatter. "There's a reason we're chosen to assist established Pros! Most of us want to go Pro one day ourselves!"

As Bakugou and Eri exchanged playful banter, Midoriya laughed and pressed a hand to either of their shoulders, playing the role of mediator while gently pushing them apart. As his touch lingered his quirk activated, humming through him like lightning, his malachite irises swirling with emerald light.

It happened more frequently now that Bakugou was spending more and more time with them, and while Midoriya still couldn't control his quirk at will there were times where it felt distinctively different than before. If he stayed calm, and did his best to concentrate on expressing his feelings, there were times when he could share his Sight with Bakugou, but he was the only one Midoriya had been able to successfully share his quirk with so far.

He'd tried individually with his other partners, and had come close with Shinsou, but there was something about his connection with Bakugou that was different than the others. Shinsou, sharing a psychic quirk of his own, was able to feel Midoriya's quirk in a way the others couldn't, but only Bakugou was able to successfully draw it out.

Every time Bakugou and Midoriya shared glimpses of their future together, it brought them closer than they'd ever been before, even in their childhoods. The trust they'd built over the past several weeks was evident to everyone, and as they opened up to one another more and more the others began opening up to Bakugou too.

Shinsou, Todoroki, and Eri were gradually building their own relationships with Bakugou, each unique in their own right. Watching Bakugou interact with Eri brought more joy to Midoriya's heart than he had anticipated, and reminded him of the way Bakugou had been with Uraraka. Gentle, and happy. He could already see the affection between them growing into something more.

Bakugou eventually sighed and reclined back against the arm of the couch, throwing up his hands in defeat and offering Eri an impish smile. "Tch, you're Eraser Head's daughter alright! The mouth on you could make a villain blush, and you're so damn stubborn!" He carded his fingers through his hair before dropping his hand, shaking his head slowly. "Maybe I should ask Jeanist about having you assigned as my sidekick. At least you'd be capable of keeping up with my ass."

"Damn right I could." Eri agreed with a triumphant huff, crossing her arms over her chest. "You'd be lucky to have me! Plus, Papa would end you if he thought for a second you weren't treating me nicely."

"He wouldn't be the only one." Shinsou called from the kitchen, Midoriya laughing as Bakugou clicked his tongue against his teeth, Todoroki agreeing with a soft hum.

"You'd be a good mentor, Kaachan." Midoriya said in a softer tone, Bakugou meeting his eyes. "I've seen what you're capable of." He tapped his temple gently, his quirk still glowing in his eyes. "It's up to you to decide, but if you do choose to accept a sidekick, know that whatever hassle you feel you may endure, it'll be well worth it."

Bakugou grumbled softly but didn't argue further, and Midoriya bit his lip and giggled softly, his eyes drifting to the pile of blankets and pillows nearby. "Oh! That's right, we should set up the fort! Probably best to do so before dinner, if we're going to be drinking-"

"Oi, Shinsou!" Bakugou called at that, waiting for the other hero to peek his head around the corner before continuing on, "You up for playing Ōsama while we drink?"

"Oho?" Shinsou smirked, his expression absolutely devious as he turned to ask Todoroki, "Shouto, have you ever played before?"

"Ōsama? What's that?" Eri asked, looking up at Midoriya, but he shook his head and shrugged, glancing between Bakugou and Shinsou curiously.

"I'm not sure either…"

"Maybe we should start with something else first." Shinsou mused, tapping a finger against his chin. "Jan Ken Pon?"

"Hah?! I'll kick your ass at Jan Ken Pon!" Bakugou crowed, turning to Midoriya and Eri with a pleased smirk. "Don't worry, I'll teach you. It's easy! Let's play a few rounds before dinner so you'll know what to do once we start!"

While Shinsou prepared dinner Bakugou took turns teaching Todoroki, Midoriya, and Eri how to play, and then they set about arranging the blanket fort, finishing just as Shinsou called them to the table.

The katsudon was hearty and the salad crisp and refreshing, and as the meal progressed Shinsou and Bakugou poured the first round of shots, celebratory cheers filling the townhouse.

"Kanpai!"

The first game they played, Jan Ken Pon, was simple enough to understand, akin to the rules of Rock, Paper, Scissors. By the time they had finished their matches Shinsou and Bakugou were pleasantly buzzed, Todoroki and Midoriya a little more drunk given their lower tolerances, while Eri sipped at her mixed drink and watched their antics with wide eyes.

"Alright, so here's how to play Ōsama." Bakugou began, grinning impishly as he gestured around the table. "We each draw a chopstick, the one who chooses King is in control for that round. The King will state an order that must be followed, and choose a random number to carry out his command!"

"It's like Truth or Dare." Shinsou added with a nod, pouring another round of shots, looking to Todoroki and Midoriya with a teasing smile. "Just remember the King's command is absolute, so no matter what it is you're ordered to do you must willingly obey."

Midoriya giggled excitedly while pressing a hand across his hot face, peeking between his fingers towards Shinsou. "You're planning on making us do something embarrassing, aren't you Hitoshi?"

Shinsou's look was lecherous as he chuckled deeply, reclining back in his chair with a soft hum. "With any luck it'll be you who chooses King, and you can issue whatever commands you like."

"Let's play." Todoroki said, shifting closer to grab the pile of chopsticks, inspecting them for a moment before hiding the kanji written on the side and mixing them up, offering them to the rest of the table before claiming the last one.

"Alright! So whoever drew King, you may reveal yourself." Bakugou looked around the table, Eri gasping and lifting her hand, revealing the side of her chopstick.

"I got it! I'm the King!"

"Alright Eri, so think of something you want to order one of us to do, and then pick a number, one through four." Shinsou pointed between them as he spoke, explaining the rules patiently. "You don't know who is holding which number until after you issue your command, so if you're trying to prank someone in particular, keep that in mind. The King and numbers will shuffled each round, and payback is a bitch."

"Payback is half the fun!" Bakugou laughed, crossing his arms over his chest, watching Eri with a gleam in his eyes. "Go on then, Princess. Show us what you can do!"

Eri gasped and blushed brightly at Bakugou's teasing, then she puffed out her cheeks and jabbed her chopstick at him while commanding, "I order you to go make a snow angel!"

"Pick a number, Eri." Shinsou chuckled, Bakugou frowning at the thought of having to run outside, let alone plop down in the snow.

"Oh, umm…" She thought for a moment, then proclaimed, "I choose number four!"

"HA!" Bakugou crowed, tossing down his chopstick, revealing a number three. "Better luck next time, brat! It's not me you're tossing out into the snow!"

"I'm number one." Todoroki said, revealing his chopstick as well, Midoriya laughing and turning over his chopstick to reveal a number two.

"I guess that means…"

"Oh no!" Eri gasped, frowning while clapping her hands together in a solemn apology, "I'm sorry, Hitoshi!"

Shinsou laughed as he got up from the table, waving dismissively while walking towards the front door, everyone getting up to follow after him and watch him carry out Eri's command.

He stepped outside, following the sidewalk for a moment until reaching a large pile of snow, falling backwards into it with a soft grunt and making a snow angel, Eri hiding her grin and giggling all the while.

"Alright, next round!" Bakugou called, and they returned to the table as Shinsou pushed himself up and ran back inside, shaking snow off of his hoodie near the door.

The chopsticks were shuffled once again, and with their kanji concealed everyone drew a new stick, revealing Todoroki as the King.

Todoroki considered his options for a long moment before saying slowly, "Number two, take two shots."

"Damn, Icy Hot. Trying to get me drunk?" Bakugou threw back the shot sitting before him first, then poured a second shot and downed it as well, smacking his glass down atop the table with a dramatic sigh. "Done and done! Next round!"

Shinsou drew King next, and with a sultry smirk he propped his cheek against his hand, his eyes on Todoroki and Midoriya as he murmured, "Number one and number three, give one another a kiss."

Midoriya blushed and giggled softly, revealing himself as number one. "Did you see what number I drew, Hitoshi? That's cheating, you know!"

"It's pure luck, I assure you." Shinsou chuckled, glancing around the table before Eri held up her chopstick with a fierce blush, revealing number three.

"Is it really okay to kiss in front of everyone?" Eri asked hesitantly, glancing towards Bakugou briefly before turning to Shinsou and Todoroki. "I don't want anyone to feel uncomfortable…"

"It's alright by me." Bakugou said with a shrug, pouring himself another shot. "Don't hold back on my account."

"It's okay, Eri." Midoriya giggled as he leaned closer, pressing a kiss to her forehead with a smile. "Hitoshi didn't say what kind of kiss, after all."

"Oh! You're right!" Eri beamed, giggling as well as she kissed Midoriya on the cheek, the two parting and giving Shinsou cheeky smiles.

"Will that suffice, Your Majesty?"

"For now." Shinsou smirked, sighing as he glanced over to meet Todoroki's eyes. "I do enjoy a bit of malicious compliance."

Todoroki's breath hitched and he flushed a pretty shade of pink, Midoriya gathering the chopsticks and starting a new round, beaming as he revealed himself as the next King.

"Number four and number three, arm wrestle without using any quirks!"

Shinsou quirked his brow with an amused smirk, and Bakugou slammed down his fist, showing his number four chopstick. "Who's number three?!"

Todoroki held up his own chopstick, and Shinsou offered up his chair so he could sit next to Bakugou, the two leaning close and locking hands, Bakugou's eyes boring into Todoroki's calm demeanor like burning charcoals.

"Tch, this isn't even a challenge!" Bakugou crowed while tightening his hold, Midoriya and Shinsou exchanging knowing smiles while Eri took a long sip of her mixed drink.

Midoriya counted down from three, and then the struggle began, Bakugou's expression instantly changing when Todoroki's grip didn't falter immediately, Todoroki watching Bakugou with that same calm expression as Bakugou tried to take him down.

"Oh, this is so good." Shinsou chuckled, grinning wolfishly at noticing the sweat beading across Bakugou's forehead. "He's never gone toe to toe with Shouto before, has he? Have they ever held a sparring match against each other?"

"Kaachan's explosions against Todoroki's fire would be catastrophic if things got out of hand." Midoriya hummed, his words a bit slurred as he watched their battle, giggling against the back of his hand. "What's the matter, Kaachan? Harder than you thought it would be?"

"Shut up! I've got this!" Bakugou growled, but as the seconds ticked by Todoroki started pressing forward, and slowly but surely Bakugou's arm began slipping down, the blonde shouting angrily as he was finally pinned, slapping his other hand down against the table. "There's no way! Let's go again - best two out of three!"

"Oh boy." Shinsou sighed, but Todoroki merely shrugged and returned to their starting position, clasping hands with Bakugou and glancing towards his partners as Midoriya counted down again. Shinsou gave him a little wink, leaning closer to press a kiss to his cheek, Todoroki smiling and humming before returning his attention to Bakugou.

Much to Bakugou's dismay, Todoroki won the second round, and the third. Midoriya was trapped in a fit of giggles, wheezing and crying, unable to look at Bakugou's beet red face. Eri and Shinsou were struggling to hide their amusement as well, Todoroki blinking slowly as he offered Bakugou his condolences and leaned against Shinsou's side, letting out a tired little yawn.

Still in disbelief but thoroughly defeated, Bakugou groaned and flopped back in his chair, reaching for the bottle to pour himself another shot. "Unbelievable!" He cursed against the rim of the glass, tossing it back and smacking it down against the table before exhaling an exasperated sigh. "I demand a rematch when we're sober!" He growled, jabbing his finger at Todoroki, who hummed dismissively and turned to rest his cheek against Shinsou's shoulder, closing his eyes.

Shinsou rubbed his back gently, kissing his forehead and looking around the table with a contented smile. "Alright. Looks like it's about time to get this one to bed." He carefully helped Todoroki up from the table, walking with him into the living room and then heading towards the stairs. "I'll be back down in a minute. Eri, would you mind helping clean up?"

"Of course!" Eri called, pushing herself up and wobbling for a moment before beginning to clear the table, humming happily as she did so.

Midoriya watched her for a moment before pushing himself up with a grin, gasping and throwing out his arms as he tried to balance. "W-Whoa!" Midoriya laughed brightly as he steadied himself, Bakugou clicking his tongue against his teeth and getting up from the table as well, reaching out and wrapping his arm around Midoriya's waist before helping him into the living room, guiding him to the entrance or the fort.

"You're drunk!" Bakugou chided gently, Midoriya giggling as he dropped to his knees and crawled across the blankets, plopping down against a pillow and nuzzling into it with a smile.

"So are you!" Midoriya called back teasingly, his voice muffled until he lifted his face and met Bakugou's eyes, "Will you help Eri?"

"Yeah, yeah." Bakugou sighed, padding back into the kitchen to help Eri finish cleaning up. They took their time gathering dishes and putting away leftovers, wiping down the table and countertops while exchanging teasing remarks. Bakugou grabbed the liquor bottle as Eri hung up the dish towels to dry, and he took one last shot before setting the almost empty bottle beside the sink, glancing over to meet Eri's eyes.

She was watching him with a little smile, tucking her hair behind her ear as she reached out and patted his chest gently, her expression warm and soft. "Thank you for being here. I'm having a lot of fun."

"Yeah? Me too." Bakugou chuckled softly, offering Eri his hand to help her balance, walking with her towards the couch, glancing up at the sound of footsteps on the stairs.

Shinsou appeared a moment later, sighing tiredly and combing his long fingers through his hair, peeking into the fort and smiling down at Midoriya for a moment before asking quietly, "Shouto wants me to sleep upstairs with him. Are you three going to be okay sleeping down here?"

"We'll be fine, Toshi!" Eri giggled, yawning as she grabbed a blanket and flopped down on the couch beside Ochaco, who meowed and rolled onto her back with a soft chime. Eri tugged her closer while petting her fluffy belly sleepily, tucking her face into her fur and inhaling deeply, already dozing off.

Shinsou lingered for a while longer, setting out a few cups of water and leaving a small bottle of headache medicine in case it was needed, Bakugou offering his thanks and saying goodnight before crawling into the fort beside Midoriya.

He cuddled up behind Midoriya, pressing along his back and kissing his shoulder, Midoriya smiling and humming softly, finding one of Bakugou's hands and lacing their fingers while letting out a quiet yawn.

"Love you, Kaachan." Midoriya murmured, his speech a bit slurred, and Bakugou dipped his head to kiss along Midoriya's shoulder and the curve of his neck, Midoriya's giggling music to his ears as he pressed back against Bakugou's chest, completely relaxed in his arms.

"Izuku?" Bakugou rasped softly, and Midoriya hummed while peeking up at him through messy dark curls. "Are you sure this is what you want?"

Midoriya blinked slowly, trying to understand the implications of Bakugou's question, but given the circumstances he was barely able to process coherent thoughts. Instead he rolled over to face Bakugou, reaching up to cup his face, searching his eyes and pressing up into a kiss, Bakugou exhaling against his lips and kissing him back slowly.

"I want you." Midoriya whispered, rubbing his palm back and forth over Bakugou's heart. "This is everything I could have ever wanted. Being with you. Being with Hitoshi, and Shouto, and Eri. The five of us together." He gave Bakugou another kiss, carding his fingers through his cropped fade gently. "I love you, Katsuki. I've never wanted anything so much."

Bakugou seemed satisfied with that, huffing softly before tugging Midoriya against his chest, cupping the back of his head and murmuring against his curls, "Get some sleep, or you'll have a hangover in the morning."

Midoriya giggled against his chest, but made himself comfortable before relaxing once more, breathing in and out slowly as he drifted off, Bakugou holding him close until he drifted off as well.

Sometime in the middle of the night, Shinsou came downstairs to check on them, draping another blanket around Eri's shoulders and tucking in her feet, peeking into the fort and smiling at seeing Midoriya wrapped snugly in Bakugou's arms.

Early morning cast blue shadows across the walls, and Eri stirred first, yawning as she crawled out of her makeshift nest and wobbled towards the bathroom, closing the door half-way as Ochaco followed after her. She re-emerged shortly after, taking one of the glasses of water Shinsou had left atop the coffee table and drinking slowly, rubbing her eyes sleepily before turning towards the stairs. Ochaco's bell chimed softly as she ran up the stairs ahead of Eri, meowing faintly audible from the bedroom before fading into silence once more.

Bakugou was eventually drawn from his slumber by Midoriya's fidgeting, snorting irritability and cracking open an eye while growling deeply, "Just go already."

"But it's cold!" Midoriya protested with a pout, fidgeting again.

"Damn it, Deku…" Bakugou huffed softly, wiggling out from beneath their blankets and tugging at Midoriya's wrist tiredly. "You can cuddle up with me again once you're done! Go before you give yourself a bladder infection or some shit, idiot."

Midoriya groaned unhappily before doing as he was told, crawling out of the fort and disappearing into the bathroom. Bakugou sighed tiredly, rolling onto his back and blinking up at the hanging blankets creating the roof of their fort, an affectionate little smile turning up his lips as he listened to Midoriya's soft humming drifting from behind the bathroom door.

Once Midoriya returned Bakugou took his turn next, and after a few minutes they were back beneath the blankets together, twining legs and cuddling close, sharing their body heat and slow kisses in the pale light.

Midoriya slipped a hand up under Bakugou's shirt, teasing his fingertips along the contours of Bakugou's abs lightly while arching against his chest, kissing him slow and deep. Bakugou indulged him for a while longer before shifting on top of him and pressing him down against the blankets, rolling his hips slowly as Midoriya tugged up his shirt, hungry for more.

"Kaachan…" Midoriya whispered, tugging Bakugou down to him once his shirt had been tossed aside, and Bakugou kissed him for a long moment before drawing back to tug Midoriya's shirt off next, Midoriya giggling as Bakugou's eyes wandered down his frame appreciatively.

"Is this okay?" Bakugou murmured, one of his hands splaying across Midoriya's taut stomach before drifting lower, resting at the curve of his hip. "Do you want me to?"

"Yes." Midoriya whispered, searching Bakugou's eyes, his breathless tone hinting at his growing desire. "Yes, I want to. Touch me, Kaachan…"

Bakugou stared down at Midoriya for a moment longer before taking what he wanted, claiming his mouth in a searing kiss and dipping his hand below the waistband of Midoriya's sweats, Midoriya gasping and arching against him with a whine caught in his throat. In the weeks that had passed since their reconciliation, they'd explored one another slowly, kissing and holding hands, cuddling and napping together, but they'd barely hinted at wanting more than that.

Something felt different now, after spending the night together playing games and laughing and drinking, then sharing a pillow fort as they had when they were young. Making new memories together, healing old wounds, rekindling the feelings they'd once shared. Midoriya felt brave, and Bakugou felt confident and reassured. Midoriya wanted this, they both wanted this.

When Midoriya gasped softly and let out a shaky moan Bakugou felt a shiver of heat sear up his spine, and he muffled those sounds of want with teeth and tongue, rubbing his warm palm over Midoriya's cock through the soft fabric of his boxers. Midoriya tugged at his shoulders, wiggling his hips and searching Bakugou's eyes, reaching down with one hand to palm Bakugou over his loose sweats, the blonde letting out an appreciative moan as well.

When they parted again Bakugou lifted Midoriya's hips, holding his eyes while tugging his waistband down over his freckled thighs, lifting at the bends of his knees to pull the thick fabric the rest of the way down his legs. As soon as he'd freed Midoriya's ankles he tossed them aside, Midoriya shivering and biting his bottom lip as Bakugou slipped between his thighs, coaxing him down again, grinding up against him with a slow roll of hips. Bakugou kissed him slowly, deeply, palming him through his boxers and groaning at the sensation of precum seeping through the fabric beneath his palm.

"You like that?" He whispered gruffly, and Midoriya gasped and moaned into his mouth, nodding quickly, Bakugou wrapping his fingers around Midoriya's cock through his boxers and stroking slowly, drinking in Midoriya's breathless sounds.

"More, Kaachan…" Midoriya urged, one of his hands slipping down Bakugou's chest and stomach, teasing at his waistband. "Want you. Please, Katsu…"

Bakugou huffed softly against his lips, searching his eyes. "Your partners are upstairs-"

"You're my partner too." Midoriya whispered, cupping Bakugou's face with his other hand, teasing his bottom lip with his thumb while searching his eyes. "I'll be quiet. We won't wake them up."

"Tch, since when have you ever been quiet-"

"Katsuki." Midoriya sighed, and it was filled with frustration and heat and need, "If you don't shut up already and fuck me-"

Bakugou cut him off with a kiss, Midoriya making a soft sound of protest before relaxing once more, dipping his fingers under the edge of Bakugou's boxers while kissing him hotly, his fingertips barely brushing against the tip of his cock.

They rid one another of the last of their remaining clothes, then curled up together beneath a blanket, Bakugou draped over Midoriya's back while Midoriya rested in a half-arch on his knees and stomach. Bakugou continued working him up steadily, kissing his shoulders and nape while rutting between his cheeks, smearing precum across his flushed skin. Midoriya wiggled his hips, rocking back against him encouragingly, panting unevenly as he hid his face in the pillows beneath them, softly begging for more.

Bakugou nipped at his shoulder, and Midoriya gasped and glanced back to meet his eyes, and they held one another's gaze for a long, drawn out moment.

"You're sure?" Bakugou murmured gently, his brow pinching with concern. "We don't have to-"

"I want to." Midoriya hummed softly, arching back against Bakugou, grinding his ass purposefully against his throbbing cock. "I want you, Katsuki. I'm doing this because I want to." He reached back for one of Bakugou's hands, lacing their fingers and squeezing tightly. "You have my full consent. I trust you."

Bakugou held Midoriya's eyes, then nodded, squeezing his fingers before pressing closer once more. He lifted his hand to suck on his fingers, wetting them thoroughly before slipping them between Midoriya's cheeks, rubbing small circles and prodding gently before pressing inside. One finger first, then two, scissoring and stretching, working him open, Midoriya shivering and gasping while widening his stance, burying his red face against a pillow before letting out a muffled moan.

Midoriya did his best to hide his voice, his entire body trembling as Bakugou prepped him, licking his lips and inhaling deep, smiling at the scent of caramel beginning to permeate the air. It was distinctly Bakugou's scent, a trait of his quirk mixed with his sweat. When Bakugou was worked up the most his scent hinted at bananas foster, or crème brûlée. Midoriya had missed that scent. There was a time when he'd thought he'd never experience it again.

Bakugou pressed a kiss to the curve of his spine, shifting the blanket around them as he whispered, "Alright, Izuku. Let me know if it's too much…"

Midoriya's eyes widened and he gasped aloud as Bakugou began pressing inside, Bakugou cupping a hand over his mouth, his other hand gripping Midoriya's hip for leverage. He shifted his hand slightly to get a better grip, careful not to obstruct Midoriya's airway as he did so, Midoriya's moans sending vibrations through his palm and up his arm, tingling in the bend of his elbow. "Yes! Yes, Katsu! Please - fuck!"

"I've got you." Bakugou growled out heatedly, pressing in steadily inch by inch, reveling in the sensation of Midoriya's tight body opening up to accept him, Midoriya's breath hot against his sweaty palm, drool smeared across his chin.

"Katsuki!"

Once he was seated fully he slowly rolled his hips, waiting for Midoriya to wind down enough to relax and grow accustomed to his girth. He knew Midoriya would need a few moments before he could start moving, despite the way Midoriya was begging to be taken apart.

"Breathe." Bakugou murmured, moving his hand so Midoriya could gasp in deep drags of air, rolling their hips together slow and deep. "Relax, baby…" He dipped down to kiss across Midoriya's tense shoulders, the hand on his hip rubbing along the curve of his side gently, coaxing him into calm. "You're so damn tight, don't wanna hurt ya…"

"Katsuki-" Midoriya gasped softly, turning to meet Bakugou's eyes over his shoulder, his face flushed crimson. "I'm not a teenager anymore. I know what I want, and what I can handle-" He twisted just enough to catch a quick kiss before turning his face towards the pillows again, pushing up his hips to take all of Bakugou's cock. "Give it to me, I want it!"

Bakugou's eyes widened and his breath hitched, a zing of lightning searing up his spine. Midoriya was right; they were no longer the teenagers they once were. A decade had passed. Midoriya had other partners now, other experiences he'd been through. He'd changed. He'd grown. So had Bakugou.

As long as he listened to his body, and listened to Midoriya in kind, they could do whatever they wanted to do together without risking hurting one another. Bakugou didn't have to treat Midoriya carefully if he was asking Bakugou to be rough.

Bakugou shifted forward to take Midoriya's hand, his palm curved over freckled, scarred knuckles, his fingers slipping between Midoriya's and squeezing tightly.

"I fucking love you." Bakugou whispered, kissing just behind Midoriya's ear, nuzzling into his dark curls. "You hear me? I fucking love you, Izuku."

Midoriya's frame shuddered beneath him, and a happy sob escaped Midoriya's throat.

"I love you too, Kaachan."

Bakugou set a slow and steady pace at first, warming Midoriya up, listening to his sounds and gauging his reactions, holding out for a little while longer before giving in and doing exactly what Midoriya wanted.

Once he really started moving, Midoriya couldn't keep his voice quiet. Bakugou cupped his hand over Midoriya's mouth, listening to his hitched breathing, ensuring Midoriya wasn't in any distress as he settled into a quick, rough pace.

His begging was muffled behind Bakugou's hand, but Bakugou knew what he was saying, leaning close to press his forehead to Midoriya's shoulder, grunting softly as he sought his release.

"Yeah, baby. You're doing so good. You're taking me so well. Feels amazing, fucking mind-numbing."

"Kaachan! Kaachan-!"

Bakugou widened his stance, tugging Midoriya back against him before pushing him down again, thrusting in at a deeper angle, Midoriya yelping as his prostate was struck before dissolving into incoherent sobs.

"Oh that's it." Bakugou murmured deeply, "There it is. You like that, baby boy? You like it when I touch you there? You want more?"

Midoriya sobbed and hiccupped against his hand, drool coating Bakugou's palm and dripping down his chin and throat. Bakugou tugged Midoriya's hips back with each rough thrust, fucking him into the floor, the pillows and blankets scattered around them an absolute mess. Midoriya had managed to claw at the blankets beneath them enough that some of the carpet was exposed, and one of the blankets above was gradually falling down on top of them, but Bakugou knew better than to even think of stopping now.

There was a soft creak from upstairs, and Midoriya whined and buried his face against the pillows, Bakugou fucking into him with quick wet slaps while reaching around to wrap his fingers around Midoriya's weeping cock, chuckling impishly as he started to jerk.

"C'mon baby, I know you're close. You gonna cum for me or do you wanna wait 'til we have an audience first?"

At that Midoriya's entire body tensed and he screamed into the pillow, cumming in warm jets across Bakugou's knuckles and the curve of his stomach, moaning breathlessly and trying to remain arched on trembling knees, turning his face to the side to gasp for air. "Y-You…you too…!"

Another creak and the sound of soft voices, and Bakugou ducked his head against Midoriya's shoulder, Midoriya cupping both of his hands over his mouth and whining eagerly as Bakugou struck his prostate over and over again. He twitched with overstimulation, tears smeared across his flushed cheeks, clenching down around Bakugou's cock vice-tight, rocking his hips back to help coax him over the edge.

As Bakugou crested he growled loudly and bit down on Midoriya's shoulder, Midoriya gasping and crying out sharply against his hands. Fresh tears welled up from both pleasure and pain, another orgasm ripping through him and turning him into a boneless wreck beneath Bakugou's heaving frame.

Bakugou could taste blood on his tongue, and he soothed away the ache he'd caused with warm, wet swipes and gentle kisses, murmuring reassurances and soft apologies. He kept Midoriya close as he rolled onto his side and cuddled up with him, and Midoriya let him do as he liked, already half-conscious and breathing slowly as he basked in his afterglow.

Eventually Shinsou descended the stairs, noting the sweet scent of toasted caramel filling the air, pausing for a moment to assess before a smile turned up his lips. He made his way to the kitchen without a word, leaving Bakugou and Midoriya in their fort undisturbed, shuffling around cabinets and preheating the oven as he began prepping for breakfast.

By the time Todoroki and Eri joined him downstairs, the scent of waffles and blueberries overwhelmed all else, and only once Shinsou was certain they'd had sufficient time to themselves did he peek in on his fiancé and his oldest yet newest partner, Bakugou glancing up to meet Shinsou's eyes while Midoriya dozed against his chest.

They held one another's eyes for a long moment, and then Shinsou's expression softened and he chuckled quietly, asking so only they could hear, "Feeling hungry yet? I can make you a plate."

Bakugou couldn't stop the faint blush creeping across his cheeks, and he wet his lips absently before giving a little nod. "Breakfast sounds really good actually. Thank you, Shinsou."

"Hitoshi, please." Shinsou murmured, and Bakugou's blush grew, but he nodded and gave Shinsou a shy little smile.

"Hitoshi. Thank you for having me." He glanced down at Midoriya briefly, then said as he returned his gaze to Shinsou's, "You can call me Katsuki, if you'd like."

"I'd like that very much." Shinsou grinned, and then he disappeared out of sight again, returning to the kitchen, Todoroki and Eri's voices drifting quietly from the kitchen table as Shinsou began serving up waffles.
