#FeelingsAndTroubles
After a few days, Diana Prince could feel a certain confusion around her body. Ever since she saw Mary Bromfield kissing Peter Parker, her mind seemed to be going into a tailspin of emotions, but above that, as she thought about the scene she saw, her mind came back to reality, with her taking the lead in a fight against Electro and Shocker, showing some concern over the villains emerging around Metropolis, with the mere feeling that they had something much worse coming. Batgirl, Bumblebee and Zatanna took the lead against the duo, on which Karen, Barbara and Zee made their abilities clear, attacking in unbelievable ways against their enemies and on which Wonder Woman took center stage. Spider-Man then threw himself behind the duo, managing to attack the villains and allowing Wonder Woman and Supergirl to use their powers to keep Shocker and Electro on the defensive.
"Why don't these heroines lose?" Electro said, looking at the team and realizing how much stronger their opponents' determination seemed to be than anything at the moment. Ever since the emergence of these villains around Metropolis, guided by Otto Octavius, they had known full well the possibilities of the problems only intensifying if they continued to do everything without finding answers. Concentrating his powers, Dillon attacked Wonder Woman, placing her metal bracelets in front, blocking her opponent's attack, which allowed Supergirl, Zatanna and Bumblebee, to take the lead against Shocker. Karen then, shrunk her size, taking the opportunity to fly towards the villain and with that, returning to her normal size, hit Shocker in the back, knocking him to the ground, and with that, leaving only Electro to confront the Super Hero Girls.
"Erutpac mih!" Using her magic to create a sphere around Electro, Zatanna used every bit of her powers to manage to contain the villain in front of the magician, while Wonder Woman and Green Lantern saw Shocker getting up, using his sonic gloves to hit Bumblebee, pushing her back, which made Green Lantern use her Power Ring to create a giant shield in front of her, blocking Shocker's attacks, in which each hero seemed to be facing a very complicated situation.
"I think I've seen this scenario before. Last time, it certainly didn't work out so well. Trying to contain myself is a tricky task, even more so considering how much electricity I can absorb despite the circumstances." Electro's arrogance was slowly revealed, but this time making it very clear that he would not make the same mistakes again after the last fight against the Super Hero Girls, preparing himself for whatever event that came ahead. Little by little, Dillon began to absorb more energy inside the sphere, with this, he tried to attack Zatanna, however, the electricity began to be contained inside the projection created by the magician.
"So. Let's just say my idea is a little more different than usual." Increasing her powers, Zatanna began to contain Electro's attacks, managing to get the electricity coursing through his body to turn against him, knocking him out and thereby leaving only Shocker for the other heroes to deal with. Batgirl, Spider-Man and Supergirl approached the villain, while looking at the criminal on their fronts. Inside the safe house, MJ and Ned began to analyze the scene through the security cameras on the street, noticing a huge concern.
"Guys, don't get me wrong now! But I seem to be picking up an unusual energy coming from Shocker's sonic gloves!" Ned talked, realizing the direction things were going now. - "Apparently, he has found a way to intensify the energy he is channeling before you.
"Last time, it was tricky confronting him, but now, I think the situation has gotten even more complicated!" Michelle said, realizing that the team was facing a much bigger problem than imagined. Shocker then, hit the sonic gloves, pushing the trio of heroines back and in this, Green Lantern used her ring again, creating a barrier around the team and conjured a bow and arrow with her wilpower, shooting them to the sides and creating a smoke screen around the street.
On the other side, Electro began to get up, realizing how far they had come that they couldn't even foresee now. With his Spider-Sense tingling, Peter threw himself into the air, sticking his webs to the walls and with that, he took the opportunity to draw Electro's attention to him, allowing his friends to contain Shocker and prevent them from escaping again. Sticking his webs on Dillon's back, Spider-Man gave a strike with his two feet, throwing the villain backwards, but giving him an opening to absorb the energy of a car battery near him, acquiring more energy and making the situation very worrying.
"Time to test some new upgrades." Squeezing the device near his wrist, Spider-Man began to absorb energy around him, managing to prevent his body from being affected by Electro's attacks. Using the upgrade made by Karen in his cartridges, as well as some modifications, the boy began to turn the tables on Electro, allowing the villain to be overwhelmed, with Peter throwing several punches and kicks using all of his strength against his adversary, doing the impossible to guarantee a chance to win. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman began to approach Shocker, using her Lasso of Truth to contain the villain, making him use the sonic gloves to concentrate the energy in the rope, however, taking advantage of the scene, Green Lantern, Zatanna, Supergirl, Batgirl and Bumblebee began to hold the villain using all of her gadgets and powers, putting everything in play to contain their adversary.
Noticing the scene, Electro took the opportunity to use part of his electricity on Peter, hitting his face and knocking him out and with that, he used his powers to knock the hero out and with the scene that was happening, he approached Shocker, getting close to him and raising one of his hands, concentrating enough energy to make the heroines worried about what had happened. Disappearing along with the villain, the group seemed to be in shock at what had happened and like all the events, these attacks seemed to be becoming more constant than imagined.
Unbeknownst to the heroines, Otto Octavius continued to watch everything through the security cameras around the streets, trying to put into practice the next parts of his plan, ready to carry everything forward in his objectives, still unknown, considering how much he planned to change things very soon. With calm around his body, Otto began to work on a new project, in the shadows.
"They think they are dealing with random events, but this is all just the beginning. While these heroines are thinking about protecting the city, I am preparing to take control in a way that will surprise all the citizens of Metropolis." Otto maintained a coolness, almost as if he was planning everything in advance. Even with Shocker and Electro having failed, Otto knew that all the pieces were aligning for his plans to work out in the future. - "Only I know how far we will go to solve our problems and with that, we will know who will emerge victorious from this conflict. Metropolis still can't imagine the plans I have in mind.
Otto Octavius was sure that very soon, the plans would work out. And that very soon, Metropolis would be in his hands and having all power in hand and in control, Otto was confident that the heroes would be defeated and that the city would finally be his in the end.
At the school, Mary Bromfield seemed to be feeling herself more calm than the usual. Still trying to reconcile her feelings for Peter Parker and the fact of Peter dating Diana, the girl, with the powers granted by the Wizard from the Rock of Eternity, seemed to be feeling her own body, more worried than usual. Without realizing, alone, having discovered Mary's feelings for Peter, Diana started to think, feeling something different about what was happening. The Amazon was trying to work out a plan, trying to figure out a way to resolve this matter before it got even more complicated with all the confusion that was going on. Ever since she saw that kiss, the heroine was trying to understand a little bit of the circumstances and what she should do to solve this matter.
"I don't know what to do. It's like there's something telling me that I need to fix. My heart beats faster than I can admit and with that, I'm still wondering why all this is happening? I like Peter, but in some ways, we seem to be just like one another, sharing the same interests, feelings and personal thoughts, but something says to me, that I need to find an answer to this issue." Diana's thoughts made it clear how much she needed to resolve this whole story, while at the same time, Mary kept up appearances, approaching Diana while holding her books, going to the next class.
"Are you ok, Diana?" Getting the Amazon's attention, Diana kept herself calm before the girl, while at the same time, she looked to her locker, picking up some of her books.
"Yes. I was just thinking about one thing. What's your next class, Mary?"
"Chemistry. I have to take the books, because of my notes for the experiments that will happen. It's kind of weird to think about it a little bit. Being something of a grade A+ student, I keep thinking about challenging myself over and over again, but I think it's getting kind of tricky to find a challenge." Mary spoke, not realizing that Diana seemed to be getting a little nervous, but with each step, the two kept up appearances, with Mary thinking a lot about the kiss she had given Peter after the fight against Black Adam. Slowly approaching from the chemistry room, Mary sighed, knowing full well that she had some things she couldn't tell. - "Diana, how would you try to challenge yourself?"
"Finding vile being and trying to keep my grades perfect in all means. There are things that we don't really know what to do, and I still think a lot about every possibility, but I don't really know what can or will happen. But I like to be prepared for a lot of things.
"Good luck with that, Diana. See you later."
Leaving the Amazon alone, Diana was sure that she needed to put a plan in place to solve this whole story and with that, the candle, just like a lightbulb being turned on when a plan came forward, seemed to have something in her mind that made it clear how much she was going to solve this once and for all. She just needed to be sure how different everything could be in a few moments.
Looking at Peter, going through his locker, Mary felt herself more nervous than ever. It was almost as if her heart was beating faster than imagined and with the main feeling being something quite unusual, Mary tried to understand how much she could do to keep her feelings buried, but couldn't, without realizing what would happen, but out of nowhere, something grabbed her and pushed Mary to the janitor room, leaving the girl surprised. Looking to Diana in her front, Mary was very confused with what was happening, until a devious smile came on the Amazon's face, making Mary very nervous and a little confused with the scene.
"What do you want?"
"I've been thinking about something. And you're going to help me, Mary."
This surprise seemed to be something quite unexpected, but Mary could see in Diana's eyes, that the heroine was determined to solve the plan and with that, Mary gave a smile back to Diana, realizing what the Amazon meant by all this. As it turned out, the day was not over yet. After so many situations, the confrontation between the villains scattered in Metropolis and the dilemmas in their personal lives, every minute seemed to be very different and what would follow, but very soon, more craziness would come ahead and with that, everything could be different.

Author's Note: That was it for today, folks! Not gonna enter into details for the next chapters, but you can expect something far more unexpected than the usual for the next chapters. This chapter was a little short, I know, it's just that a part of me is starting to feel uninspired, lack of ideas kicking in and it's becoming very difficult for me to write something, but I'm gonna try to keep the publishing in a certain frequence, dear readers! You can be sure of that!
