The green spiders hissed at him. It was clear they somewhat understood what he said, at least enough to know he was going to kill it.

There was a tence silence. The spiders stopped hissing as they all stared at him. 「Starfall」got infront of him with its fist clenched.
Both Whitley and the spiders stared at each other in tence silence. Both of them, waiting and watching the other for who would make the first move.
"...「Starfall」!!!"
HIIIISSSSS!!!!*
"URRSSHHHAAAA!!!!"
Galaxy gloved fist met green spiders. Both「Starfall」and the spiders moved at the same time. The spiders jumped. 「Starfall」punched.
"Sha! Sha! Sha! Sha! Sha!" Whitley's ability cried out as it punched the spiders that were attempting pounce on him.
The ability did well in keeping the spiders at bay, but the green arachnids managed to get on the ability's body.
Bite!* *Bite* *Bite*
"A-ah!?" Whitley yelped in pain and surprise as he looked at his body to see wounds from the spiders appear on him as they sink their fangs in「Starfall」.
"I'm hurt!? But「Starfall」is the one getting bitten! Does whatever that hurts「Starfall」would appear on me!?" Whitley quickly thought as he saw more spiders jump on「Starfall」.
HIIISSSS!!!!*
"「Starfall」! Get those thing off you and return to me!" Whitley commanded as his Stand started slapping the spiders off its body as it then floated back to Whitley defensively.

"Sha!"

「Starfall」fought defensively as it constantly slapped away the spiders that jumped at it or tried to jump at Whitley.
"I'm surrounded. There's to many of them to fight in this position.「Starfall」isn't fast enough to punch away everything these spiders throw at me. I'm going to get overwhelmed at some point." Whitley had quickly analyzed the situation.
His eyes scanned around the room as he thought. "I need to figure a way out!"

「Starfall」continued to wildly punch or knock away the spiders but the spiders still managed to get bites in on the arms. Whitley watched his situation as he noticed that the spiders were floating.
"Floating? I was floating before." He turned his head to look up the ceiling which was currently clear of any green arachnids.
"「Starfall」!" Whitley yelled out the name of his ability as he jumped while looking towards the ceiling above him.
Thud!*
"Hah...it worked!" Whitley stared at his position. He stood on the ceiling after...falling upwards...like gravity was pulling up rather than down.
"「Starfall」can shift gravity? That does explain why the those green insects it hit earlier to spin around in the air uncontrollably." Whitley thought as he looked towards the floor to see the spiders looking at him and hissing. He also saw some spiders spinning in the air like there was no gravity for them.

"Tch! These things are relentless." Whitley looked around the room. Trying to find an arachnid that wasn't green.
"If I'm right...these spiders and「Starfall」are the same thing, an ability...then that spider I saw in this room is the user of these things."
Whitley started running on the ceiling while constantly trying to find the black arachnid.
Hiss!*
The green spiders hissed at him as they started climbing up the walls to get to Whitley while also following him from the ground and surrounding the room from all sides.
"Hmm...they're trying to surround me. Swarm me on all sides." Whitley thought as he stood on the ceiling to see the spiders had finally finished climbing the wall to get to the ceiling.
Whitley stared at at all the green spiders. His eyes squinted at them with an analytical gaze.
"Are there more of them than usual?" Whitley had noticed this about the green spiders.
The arachnids covered a quarter of the room earlier. But now he saw them almost covering the entire room in piles of them.
"...It deffinently wasn't this many."
Whitley turned to look at the closest swarm of spiders that were approaching him. His eyes squinted at them, trying to find out any new oddities from them.
Split!*
"What in Oum!?" Whitley's eyes widened as he saw a green spider in the swarm split into two, adding another spider in the group.
"It split!? My eyes were deffinently not playing tricks on me! These things can split into two!" Whitley declared his conclusion out loud as「Starfall」appeared ready to defend.

Whitley watched as the green spiders started to split into two, multiplying at an extreme pace.
"At this rate..." Whitley looked towards the exit to it being covered up by piles of spiders that was only getting bigger, his mind now realizing every spider in the room was now multiplying.
"There won't be a way out for me!"

"Hehehehehehehe! Hahahaha!" The spider laughed in its mind as it watched the pathetic human be trapped in the room with no way out.
"Ha...for a moment, I thought this human would have ended me with its awakened power like mine...But! This human is like a fly that had just hatched! Easy prey like its brethren I've killed!"
The spider looked through its ability's eyes as it saw the much bigger human which had perished and now laid below the pile of its ability.
"My ability! The most powerful ability gifted to me by that object! An infinite swarm of my kin that follow my every command! Nothing can defeat me now! I am the apex predator!"

The spider hissed as all the other green spiders did the same action as its user.
"Hmp..."

All the hissing stopped as they heard the white-haired human made a sound. All arachnid eyes looked towards the human who was surrounded on the ceiling with no way out. It saw the human not afraid, panicked or anxious of his situation.
Instead, the human had a cold calculating look in its eyes, like one would look down on a pathetic prey that could not avoid being caught and killed by its predator.
"I admit. This ability is quite dangerous in your fangs. If you cornered anyone else that wasn't me, they would be killed, no doubt." The human said in a calm tone, a far cry from its earlier screaming.
There was now one question going through the arachnid's mind.
Why was this human not showing any signs of panicking like it should? Like a cornered animal should in such situation?
Shake*
The spider felt the stack of boxes it was hiding behind shake. The arachnid was quite alerted of this confusing situation.

Rumble!*

No, it wasn't just the boxes it was hiding on.

Everything that was stored inside was shaking and rumbling!
"What is happening!?" The spider thought as it jumped off the boxes it was on, feeling it was dangerous to be on them.
Hiss!/"What!?" The spider stared in shock as its eight legs did not touch the ground as it jumped off, but instead, its entire body floated in the air with no intention of falling anywhere!
"「Starfall」, reverse the gravity inside this very room!" The human ordered as its ability appeared behind him with its arms pointing to the ceiling.
Crash!*
Thud!*
Bam!*
Smash!*
HISS!?!?!*
The spider hissed in panic as it, every item inside the room, and its green spiders that were on objects, were now falling upwards towards the ceiling.
Items would crashed on the ceiling. Things would smash into each other. Green spiders would be pinned underneath things.
The room echoed noises of things clashing into other things with spiders that were not bolted down on a locked surface hissing from the shift in gravity of the room.
"Your small. It makes you hide easier in here. But that means you can be easily crushed by anything that is bigger than your body!" The human yelled out as they now floated in the middle of the room.
"「Starfall」! Shake everything in this room with gravity!"

The gravity that was inside the room constantly shifted in different directions, causing everything that was stored in the room to bump and crash into each other before even hitting a surface.
The green spiders all hissed as they were inevitably caught in the items that were forced to fall under the constant shift of gravity. If the green arachnids had their feet bolted to a surface, it wouldn't take long for them to be caught in the falling items.
And in the middle of all this gravitational chaos. Whitley Schnee casually floated in the air in the middle of the room as he watched everything inside the room to fall under the gravitational pull that his ability controlled.
H-hi...ss...*
A cocky smirk graced his lips as he saw the green spiders disappear in the pile of items.
"Hmp...is that all? You were giving me some trouble earlier, insect." Whitley cockily said as his feet touched the floor.
He stared at the end of the room, far away from the exit door. His eyes looked up to see everything pilled up against the ceiling and wall of the room.
Crash!*
Thud*
Crash!*
Smush!*
Bam!*
Whitley watched as all the items fall down to the floor as Remnant's natural gravitational pull kicked in and gravitational influence from「Starfall」disappeared.
Whitley slowly walked towards the pile of all the stored items in the room. His hands behind his back.
"...So? Is Itsy Bitsy crushed? Can Itsy Bitsy still climb up the spout?" Whitley mocked as he stood in front of the pile of all stored stored items.
Gravity shifted once again, but this time, the items would all float around Whitley like satellites like the moon would to the planet.
"..." His blue eyes gazed around the items, trying to find if a certain black arachnid could be found on them.

"SHA!"「Starfall」manifested behind Whitley as it yelled out its battle cry.
Whitley turned around behind him, his eyes gazed on his ability's hand to see a black arachnid trapped in his ability's grip.
h..h-his—ss...*
"Hmp..." Whitley smirked as he had「Starfall」place the arachnid on the floor, on its back, as he then had「Starfall」's golden soles on the arachnid.
"Pest."
Crunch*
Whitley's ears heard the satisfying crunch of the arachnid as「Starfall」crushed it under its golden covered soles.
Whitley closed his eyes as he sighed.
Thud*
He then collapsed, sitting on the floor with a hand on his chest where his heart was. His eyes eyes opened as they showed relief and nervousness.
"Gods...I'm...*huff* I'm alive...*huff* I'm alive!" Whitley said between breaths of relief.
He could feel his heart beating fast now that the adrenaline was wearing off...he also noticed the stinging sensation on his arms.
"Hss...ouch." Whitley looked at his bleeding and wounded arms that were caused by the arachnid.
"...I hate spiders." His eyes tiredly looked around the room.
"...wait!? That guard!" Whitley's eyes frantically looked around the floating objects to try and find the body of the Manor guard that he got involved in all this madness.
Gasp*
Whitley's breath hitched as his eyes saw the guard's body...bloody, wounded, unconscious, unbreathing...dead.
The young Schnee stared at the corpse of the dead man who was merely doing his job and guarding the Manor.
"...Damn it!" He gritted his teeth in frustration as he slammed his fist on the floor, despite the fact such actions hurt with wounded arms.
Crash!* *Thud!* *Clang!*
The items floating around Whitley all fell down to the ground as natural gravity pulled them down.
Stab*
Whitley stared as he saw an arrow stab itself in the floor in front of him. His eyes widened as he recognized the bizzare golden arrow.
Time seemed to slow as he stared at the arrow. His mind thinking of the arrow and all the bizzare events that happened after it.
The arrow stabbing his hand out of nowhere.
The sudden sickness he had later.
Him floating in the air when he immediately out of bed.
The spiders.

"Ow..."
Whitley yelped in slight pain as he sat on a chair as the paramedic slowly wrapped his wounded bleeding arms in bandages.
His eyes looked towards his left to see cops and investigators outside of the storeroom where he killed the spider. He saw then looking at the door.
"No doubt they're confused as to what happened in there." Whitley thought as he looked at the paramedic that was attending to his wounds.
"All done." Whitley nodded as he sat up. He was about to walk away and go towards his room.
"Excuse, Mr Whitley." The young Schnee turned around to see an investigator.
"Do you know what happened here? You are part of this incident correct?" The investigator asked.
"Yes..." Whitley said as he now thought on how he could even explain how everything happened.
「Starfall」manifested beside him as his eyes glanced towards the thing he could summon at will with no problems.
His eyes then looked back at the investigator to see that the investigator wasn't even looking at「Starfall」.
"He can't see it." Whitley thought as he concluded. "I guess only people...or animals or insects with an ability like mine are the only ones that can see abilities like「Starfall」."
"Mr Schnee? Mr Whitley?" The investigator said, breaking Whitley out of his thoughts. "Can you tell me what happened here?"
"S-sorry...to be honest, I don't really understand what even happened here. The guard couldn't see anything that was attacking him, I couldn't understand what even was happening myself either."
He wouldn't tell the investigator. There was no point in telling the story of a...spider, a 'normal' spider was the one that attacked him and killed the guard.
There was no way any investigator would believe him.
The story was to bizzare to be true.
Whitley watched as the investigator stared at him for a while, before sighing.
"Alright, if you excuse me, sorry if I wasted your time."
"Oh no, it's quite fine, sir." Whitley waved the investigator off with a polite smile as he watched the investigator join up with the other investigators and the police.

Whitley closed the door to his room as he sighed from exhaustion. His eyes looked over to his desk as he walked towards it.
His hands grabbed a small black case as he opened it.
There, his eyes saw it. The bizzare golden arrowhead. The very thing that his mind theoretically thinks was the cause of everything.
"Where the heck did you come from?" Whitley thought outloud, no idea how such an item that may have granted him「Starfall」and Itsy Bitsy it's「Arachnophobia」.
