Outside the secret lair of Master Wortlop…
They watched as Luz and Gwendolyn left the cave for the mission of the Hyperon of the Titan's Eyes.
"I see that our plan is coming together well. Since only royal blood could gain access to the Chambers of Ultimate Knowledge then she can bring us the Hyperon to us." One of them smirked as they were watching them leave.
"We should not need it for more than thirty minutes. Once we have what we needed, we must leave no trace, for Belos would soon begin his hunt." The young cultist member warned the others.
"Indeed, we cannot have him catching wind of us, yet."
In the Chambers of Ultimate Knowledge…
The chambers were a place where only the best and brightest witches and demons were granted access, for wisdom and wit were required for those to learn the deepest secrets of magic.
"These chambers hold the key to saving my witchlet and defeating the dreaded curse." Gwendolyn proclaimed proudly as the entrance looked magnificent and forbidden.
"I don't think this is a good idea. I mean, shouldn't we tell my dad? I mean, this Hyperon is his-." Luz began.
"Luz, please, this might be the only way to help Eda. Your father is too blinded by his own beast and his duties as emperor to help. I promise to return the Hyperon afterward. But please, do this for me and I will help you." Gwen pleaded with her.
Luz conceded.
Two statues in hoods stood tall with their eyes closed as the carvings of palisman, both unicorns opened their eyes.
"We, the Sisters of Knowledge, Yumi, and Umi will pass judgment of entry. Those with intentions most pure of heart and cunning of a kitsune may gain entry to our sanctuary." They declared as Luz stepped forward.
Their eyes scanned Luzura as the energy of a blue aura enveloped her. Then it disappeared.
"Daughter of Belos the Liberator, you walk the path of knowledge as your heart seeks pure intentions. You are allowed access." They decided as the door opened for her.
Luz then walked as she noticed that Gwendolyn's way was blocked.
"You are denied entry, Lady Clawthorne of the Royal Family. You are blinded by deception and denial. Your heart is clouded with desperation and your impulse will be the ruin of others. You are not permitted to pass."
"Gwendolyn…" Luz uttered.
"Don't worry, Dear. I will be waiting outside." She assured her with a chuckle.
Luz frowned, and hesitated but kept going. It felt very wrong, but if Gwen says it's okay and that it would be returned, it should be okay. It was to help Eda. It could help her.
Why can't she shake the feeling something was wrong?
When Luz entered the chambers, her breath was taken away. It was a library fit for the Gods, truly a wonderous and mysterious place filled to the brim with ancient artifacts. She wandered around the pedestals of mysterious items and wonders until she uncovered them.
The Hyperon of The Titan's Eye.
An Orb-Like puzzle box that glowed with radiant energy.
Underneath its name lay an inscription.
'A Titan's Eye watches all and thus the past is stored. For any answer, lies within its gaze. But whether the question should be answered is the key.'
That last bit sounded like a warning.
"So, this thing knows every answer on the isles. No wonder this guy wants it." Luz uttered to herself.
But did he need it to cure Eda and why didn't her father use it to help her?
Something was wrong. But she would take it.
Belos Castle…
A surge of energy pulsed through the emperor as he gasped with alertness.
"The Hyperon of the Titan's Eye… someone is taking it," Belos uttered as it gained Blue's alert.
"Let's go." She advised as she transformed into staff form.
In Master Wortlop's cave…
After leaving with the book, the Blood Crusaders appeared once Luz and Gwendolyn left.
"Do you, have it?" The teenager demanded.
"Like you wanted." One of the frauds smirked as they were handed the treasure, "Mind telling us why you went to all the trouble for a trinket."
"That is no longer your concern. You played your part and now are paid. We now must begin our true mission." The leader answered as the teenager was solving the puzzle of the Hyperon.
"Eye of Wonder, Titan's Sight, grant me my answers for what I seek forthright."
The puzzle and incantation were completed. It then turned and twisted as a beam of light sprung forth.
"Show me the Sunken Temple of Demona and the Pillars of Confinement." She demanded as the light showed the way.
A map was presented as it showed the way.
"We are on our way, Aunty. We are on our way to set you free."
